everyone was friendly and professional. made me feel right at home. everything I needed was made available and within arms reach. very good stay.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Located near restaurants.
By booking our stay thru Kayak, we weren't able to leave a day earlier than expected (due to weather changes).
Noisy construction and the parking was expensive.
Great location Hair in bathroom
Convenient location Staff wouldn't give us late check-out
Location - close to major roads, restaurants, and a mall. Free buffet was not bad at all. Staff was friendly. AC did a great job cooling the room. Noise - sound insulation could be better - could hear the car noise and it interfered w/ our sleep. Room wasn't nasty, but could be cleaned more thoroughly.
Great Location for visiting family in area. Staff was very helpful. Fan in bathroom did not work very good, steam took really long to clear up I had to wipe mirror every time. Also stayed on first floor and the back exit door did not close properly after entering and exiting, had to make sure it was closed securely. I felt it was a security issue for non-customers able to enter without staff knowing. There was a sign on the door for the guests to make sure to close door but there were many times we returned and were able to open the door without the card, made me feel uncomfortable.
Clean, new construction Phone kept ringing in front desk (unmaned), which annoyed everyone in the breakfast area.
pleasant restaurant and bar, with some outside seating 24-hour amenities available for purchase spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms efficient, prompt staff easy to work online in the rooms lovely lobby and interiors the location is pretty shabby, basically across from a Wal-Mart as nice as it is on the inside, the hotel looks pretty bleak on the outside
Close to attractions and Pittsburgh Noisy refrigerator. Second and third night we unplugged it. Also heating and cooling system was noisy. Turned that off also during the night.
We only live 30 minutes away from there. We were in the area for a Valentine dinner and dance event and decided to make a night out of it. So instead of driving home after our event we spend the night at this hotel and we're glad we did. The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. Very nice selection for breakfast. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. I give them a 10 out of 10.
Clean, polite staff. The main thing we look for in a hotel is its cleanliness. So far, so good with this hotel.
The new facility looked great. I lived the modern look. The pool was nice, if hard to find. They only gave us enough linens for three even though the reservation was for four. There was only decaf coffee in our room. The bathroom floor didn't look like it had been swept.
We stayed at this Super 8 due to its proximity to the Laurel Hills region and its low price. We stayed two nights. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate. Happily enough the hotel is located next door to two Mexican restaurants - one of which seemed to be engaging in a price war with their margaritas. This was an unexpected and delightful development. Margaritas are best enjoyed when you don't have to worry about driving and can walk back to your hotel. This counts double when they are cheap. Occasionally the footsteps of other guests would travel through the walls, but not enough to disturb my sleep.
Historic aspects of this beautiful old Inn.
The inn and it's setting are beautiful. Food was delicious and free breakfast (Crab Eggs Benedict, yum) was a nice plus. The staff was extremely helpful in providing tourist advice. Sunset on the deck was relaxing and gorgeous. Highly recommend this hotel. Only drawback, which was minor, was the inn's proximity to the highway. Sound of trucks climbing the mountain road detracted a little from an otherwise beautiful location.

It's family owned by folks trying to make a good living . The grass was not kept up, the rooms smelled like they overly sprayed with a fragrance to cover smells which gave me a real headache ....there was mold in the bathroom over the shower .... would have just stayed at a micro tel hotel
The location was convenient to the event I was attending Under new management to the hotel's detriment. I had stayed prior & enjoyed my stay. The room was musty & the mattress was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Literally the worst night of sleep I've ever had. Woke up atleast 6 times. Will not return.
Just an average room, dated, nothing special. We paid more for our room (about 10%) than we would had we just walked in the door. A rather pricey room for what we got. Average room, dated, 'continental breakfast' was really minimal - cereal and a few donuts/bagels etc.
it was expensive for the level of installations. the price

We really did like the space the room had outside they do have really nice back decks they are in dire need of refinishing but are ok. I didn't like that my fiance' got stung numerous times because of the huge bees nest that was located under the plastic patio table out on the back deck. In my opinion they should check for those kinds of things before renting the room when its by woods.
The location of the hotel is pretty good. Away from the road, with a big lake in front of the window, the surrounding environment is good. The instruments in the room is very noisy: the air conditioner, fridge and hot water generater kept turning on and off. We couldn't sleep well for the whole night.
Nice friendly people, place was clean, close to pond that we fished at. Very nice place to stay and we'll be back soon. The back door had a big spider making a web. The porch needs repainted and for $---. A night the patio furnture could be a better kind. It was a plastic table and chairs and they were dirty.
The room was clean, the staff friendly. We had privacy and the maid staff was thorough. We stayed for three nights, left early each morning and spent the day at Ohiopyle. It was nice to come back to a clean room each evening. The overall appearance of the hotel needed a little work. Shrubbery needed trimmed, decks on each room needed stained, lawn needed mowed. The pond could have been a nice place to fish, but the shorelines were completely overgrown with no access.
Breakfast (almost nothing, Styrofoam cups, no choice)
Great location for visiting Frank Lloyd Wright homes (falling waters and kentuk knob) no frills basic room. ice machine located at check in and you could not fill your own ice bucket, person at counter filled it. which I thought was a little cheap.
I like the price I was quoted at KAYAK. That is why I booked the room because of the quoted price However I did not like the price I was charged when I checked in. 70's kitschy room. Fine. Very very shady business practices. Charged $10 more at check-in because I didn't "specify a smoking or non-smoking room" ( these weren't options in my reservation) It's only $10, but if I am booking a budget motel I obviously am on a budget. If they are overcharging everyone who checks in $10… This establishment has no "business" being on any reputable booking site EXTREMELY SMALL BATH TOWELS! No control over heat or air in your room.
