EVERYTHING AS GOOD I WISH THERE WERE MORE STORES
Nice comfortable rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Wish there were more shops and more choices for food late at night.
Food is too expensive
Large gaming area I reserved a room for my birthday the bouncer at the club was racist I am Caucasian and two of my friends who happen to be Hispanic were denied access to the club for shoes once inside I photographed 12 white people wearing sneakers. Totally unfair and will be filling a complaint with the better business burough
Walking distance to good restaurants and historical buildings. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Room was very small for the price. I spent less for a NYC hotel at the same quality
Everything. Classy, clean and a great value. Top shelf place, in the middle of a quant little town.
Loved the charm and character of this old hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was very small but clean and updated. We dined in the dining room for dinner and breakfast which was wonderful. Used the small gym for a quick work out which was more than adequate. I would definitely return to this hotel if I needed to be in the area.
Great hotel, great location and great staff. We stayed for musikfest and it was perfect. There are no vending machines so if you want to buy a snack or a drink you need to use their food/bar area which they greatly overcharge. $2.50 for a soda???
Everything. I never feel out these surveys but you guys need to know that you got that place right. Didn't stay long enough
The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is located near a lot of fun places and restaurants. We walked everywhere and was provided a shuttle to and from Sands.
We chose this hotel because of its location for Musikfest. Everything was good, the rooms were nice, the staff was accommodating and the location was perfect. nothing
Excellent amenities for traveling family.
Great services. Clean large room. Decent breakfast. The parking deck came in handy when the 2016 blizzard blew through. Neat town with shops and restaurants within walking distance. No bathtub.
Great hotel. Good value. Excellent location with free parking. All good
Hotel staff very unfriendly
The free breakfast was a very good for the value of the hotel. The room seemed fine at first glance. Once we got ready for bed we realized that one of the beds was filled with sand. Even the pillowcases were covered in it. No one we were travelling with has been near sand all summer. The bedsheets were clearly NOT changed between customers. When I opened the curtains in the morning I found a disgusting smear of something. It was at a perfect height where a child could reach when they are on top of the a/c unit. Since we realized the sand issue after dinner when we were getting ready for bed, there were no housekeepers and it took at least 20 minutes for someone to come correct what was an egregious and disgusting issue caused by hotel staff negligence. I cannot recommend a hotel that could overlook something as basic as changing bedsheets, let alone windexing the windows. The cherry on top was the mysterious $131 charge posted to my account several days after my stay. As if my letting the unchanged bedsheets go without a fuss wasn't a favor, they decide to add mysterious charges to my account. Called the hotel twice and have only been able to reach the manager's voicemail. My only hope is that he's supervising housekeeping.
The room was great.
Inside and outside access to our room All facilities of hotel, including our room were run-down. In our room the light was missing a lamp shade. We only received room service the last evening we were there. There were not enough towels. The room next to us was very loud the first night/morning. The included breakfast was mediocre.
Every single employee with whom I interacted Not enough money spent on cleanliness.
Friendly Outgoing Staff Nice clean facilities Plenty of parking
I was in town to care for my elderly mother who lives nearby; every night when I came in, the sweet boy at the front desk would ask, "How's your mom?" Housekeeping left me a sweet note every day. Entire hotel nice & clean! I would happily stay here again. Wished I'd brought my pillow from home! Bed was super comfortable, but pillows were past their prime.
The hotel is clean and welcoming, greeted once walking in. The room was warm and smelled nice too. Overall, we will stay here again. The side conversations between employees. While waiting at the front desk for our room information, the Customer Service girl was talking to others in the backroom. Pretty rude and worse yet it was a loud conversation about sex. I know they were joking around but those talks should be kept low or at least away from earshot of guests.
The room was spacious, the beds were quite comfortable and we loved the fireplace. My daughters loved the extra television and we took advantage of the kitchenette also! We will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. AND there were COOKIES!
I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's throughout the country and this stay was just as good as the others. I will always favor this chain above hotels with the same star rating, even if it's 10% more. The chlorine smell from the pool permeated the corridors surrounding it up to 50 feet away. The heater fan would not turn off at all, even when the temperature was reached. It was very noisy and disturbed my sleep a bit.
Clean, good bedding and amazing breakfast service.
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was very soft. Just a personal preference.
Very quaint and old mansion. Clean and well maintained.
Sayre Mansion provided the sense of living elegantly. Our room was stylish and enjoyable just for our relaxation. Breakfast was served in a very nicely furnished room (entrée orders taken and other items self-served).
Staff excellent. Innkeeper a bit 'cool.'
Beautiful place and great room. And when I arrived a little late (I was the last guest, arriving around 9:30), the manager greeted me with a big (not overdone) welcome. 'You must be .....? So happy to see you!' I only wish I had time for breakfast in the morning.

We stayed in room 20 which was formerly a part of the mansion library. The ceiling was ornate Italian Renaissance in design. The room was very large with windows looked out over the city. The breakfast was great as was the service. The location is on a hill overlooking a very busy road.
The staff were very pleasant! Enjoyed the morning breakfasts! Tuesday night there was a regional storm scattered pour outage. The staff were helpful and great! Thank-you no
very quaint & excellent location if you're going to the casino
Rooms were dirty Have picture if interested. Not enough towels
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Included breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Non-smoking room clearly used to be a smoking room and stunk. Hair on shower floor. Description states memory foam mattresses. Our room had sprung mattresses in which you could feel every coil. Bathroom exhaust fan caked with dust.
Breakfast Price too high!!
Room was very comfortable and close to the front. Hallway was never noisy. Shower had hot water. Plenty of towels. Overall I would come back again. Breakfast eggs tasted like cardboard . Breakfast syrup holder only had 1 tub in it and wasn't replaced although they had plenty of sugar free. Otherwise the breakfast was plentiful. This View is not the Comfort Inn which it had been in the past .
clean, comfortable, close to place of business smoking rooms are more worn and smelly, understandably so. If you want a nicer room and you smoke. go outside
We liked the beds, the water pressure, and the water was hot too! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back when the View is finished with their renovations are done. Also very convenient location. Loud drunk frat boys, but that's not the fault of the hotel.
It was convenient to where I needed to go and close to major roadways. Beds are comfortable and the complimentary breakfast is quite nice and served early. No elevator.
Been there a few times now I like the vicinity Price
The location in the charming town of Frenchtown was great. The overall look of the room and the public spaces was sophisticated and comfortable. Attention to a few details would have boosted my rating to excellent. The towels were ok, the window coverings in my room did not operate and were a bit weather beaten and I get it, it's an old hotel but replacing the 10x10 block of wood under the radiator in the bathroom with even a 3x3 block of wood would have made a difference aesthetically. As a solo traveler I would have like to see a lock on the window that opened on to a deck.
It was very clean, warm and cozy. We felt safe and like we were at our grandparents house. It was very lovely.
Location. Breakfast was good. Spacious room. Nothing.
Professional and friendly staff. Great rooms.
We loved our stay at this hotel. It was one of 11 we booked for a little trip across America. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a short time. Fantastic hotel with good facilities and friendly staff and we would go back their again Nothing at all
The Whirlpool. I did not like the fact that I left my cell phone charger in the two bedroom suite. It took a long time to verify that it was found and I am still awaiting the hotel to mail it back to me.
Really nice bed. Big, comfy room. Huge shower. And I was happily surprised when I realized they offer both free breakfast and free dinner. And they have 4 different coffees in the lobby, served 24/7.
Everything you would expect from a good suite. Room was clean bed was comfortable. Nice stay
During my stay I never heard any noise from the lobby or the rooms next door. The bathroom was clean and had fresh towels as well as the bed sheets. There was no fan in the bathroom so the door had to stay open while taking a shower.
Housekeeping is doing an excellent job keeping the place in great shape. My room was very comfortable, and the property is well-lit and feels safe at night. The front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. Carefully check your invoice for improperly-billed charges. I booked and pre-paid online. On arrival, the front desk removed the pre-paid billing information and put in my credit card instead (not for incidentals, for the whole bill). When I brought this to the staffer's attention, she said there was no way she knew to get the pre-paid info back onto the bill. So i had to use the hotel's computer to print her a copy of my priceline.com receipt. About 15 minutes after I got to my room, she called and asked for the phone number I gave priceline when I booked the room. I informed her it was on the receipt I'd printed, and then talked her through locating it. The next morning I found two bills under my door. First, there was my incidentals bill, which was correct and reflected my personal credit card number. Then there was the bill that should have had the pre-paid information and a zero balance. Instead, the hotel had tacked on an extra night's stay and taxes to my bill, effectively doubling the amount they were going to charge me for my stay. I went back to the front desk and explained the problem to a different employee. At first, she didn't believe me that the hotel had billed me twice for one night's stay, then she misunderstood the amount of the pre-paid charge. After much explaining, the bill was corrected and I left. That's why I recommend carefully checking your bills at this hotel -- you can't trust them to get the math right on their own.
This was my first experience booking a B & B. I found it exceptionally comfortable, quiet and accommodating. I am totally sold on B & B's! Absolutely nothing!
The staff and innkeepers were very gracious. All of the grounds and building were beautifully maintained.
