9.3 Excellent
Pros: Garden, house architecture, clean, bbq spot, price
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Clean and cosy place with terrace and parilla.
Cons: A bit far away from the center. But if you have a car it's no problem. Without car bit more complicated, but there are taxis and I ended up hanging out with people with a car so it was fine.
4.3 Okay
Pros: If you stay here make sure to go on a horseback riding tour in the mountain and valley with Jorge, it’s an absolutely amazing tour, Jorge is very nice, very well trained horses in good condition and at a very fair price too. The reception will have the contact info and you can book him through WhatsApp. There are some very friendly however dirty dogs and cats at the hostel.
Cons: New owners who are very tense and don’t make it comfortable for you to stay there at all. Temperatures dropped till a few degrees Celsius after sunset and there is no heat anywhere inside, not in the rooms nor common areas. They even keep the outside doors open most of the time. I got a bad cold from staying there. There are wood burning ovens but they don’t use them. The rooms are freezing at night, not nice to go to bed not being able to keep warm. The WiFi is really poor. Didn’t work 50% of the time and when it did it only worked out on the terrace and in the (cold!) hallway. May have reached the most centrally locates rooms but it didn’t reach my room at all. It says on the listing they accept credit cards - be aware that they don’t do that. The staff was very tense and unfriendly. They required an extreme level of cleaning after using the kitchen that made you feel not welcome. The hostel is located about 6km from Uspallata center where the tour agencies are. I wanted to book a tour and asked if the receptionist (who was also one of the owners) could call and book it for me - they even had the flyer from the agency at the front desk to advertise it. He said that they didn’t have a phone, they only had WhatsApp and since that agency didn’t have WhatsApp he couldn’t (read: wouldn’t) help me. I couldn’t call myself as I’m a foreigner and thus don’t have a local number. Very poor service. When the cleaning was done it was done nicely except from the floor in the room that had lots of hair and dust under the beds. It wasn’t done regularly however and we often lacked toilet paper in our room. I talked to several other guests and they had the exact same experience as me.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Big fully equiped kitchen. Clean and very nice host.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. It's quite. Ideal to relax for some days.
Cons: The wifi conection was more or less usless. It is difficult to get there if you're not with your own vehicle.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, super friendly with smiles all around! Very clean room and bathroom, with a cozy living area. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind being a little ways from the town.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff, especially Diego, was very friendly and helpful. Gave us suggestions where to have supper for the evening. The location of the hosteria is very well situated.
Cons: The floor including the shower floor was dirty, the toilet as well as the hand basin and kitchen basin was dirty. The double bed had seen much better days and needs to be replaced The water strength in the shower is poor. Breakfast was a disappointment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms very clean, people very friendly and accommodating. Place was a little hard to find as there was no sign.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff - a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with tips for places to eat in the area. Basic breakfast included.
Cons: Bathrooms are very old and not the most appealing, although they were clean. The hostel is definitely older and feels quite sparse particularly with a large unfinished room in the middle. There is also some street noise from trucks on the nearby highway.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful nature around Very kind staff
Cons: Some rooms need attention
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and wonderful people! They were very helpful even though they did not speak English.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The place is lovely, the surroundings are very nice and Diego and his partner are very kind and helpful and try to make your stay as nice as possible.
Cons: In general the place in this moment is still a hostel and not a hosteria. They are working on it to change it into a hosteria, but it will take time to get there. Therefore the price is too high, because you don’t get a hosteria or hotel room. We were thinking about leaving the pleace before the first night, but we were too tiered to search for another hotel. In winter it will be difficult in the rooms with little electric heatings to get it comfortable for adult people and not only a adventure for youngsters. There were not enough hooks for towels and clothes in the bathroom and the rest of the rooms. The double beds are very soft. There weren’t chairs, closets to keep your clothes, or lamps near the bed and only fly screens against mosquitos in the window of the bathroom. If you need comfort, you have to ask if the renovation of the room you are booking is still finished

6.8 Good
Pros: If you want to relax in peace and quiet, this is a good place to go. They only have a handful of rooms. Breakfast included is always a bonus.
Cons: Mosquitoes were relentless at night. Had to sleep with the sheets up over my head. There weren't a lot of them but they were persistant. Should have brought some insect repellant. More comfortable chairs would have been a big plus in the room. The driveway is in need of some serious repair work. Huge water holes to drive through.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the middle of nothing, with a good view on the mountains. They have there own restaurant where you can have dinner. Because you can't drink the water from the tap, you can ask for a jug of drinking water
Cons: They say they have WiFi, but it is only in the restaurant. We did not use it.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Everything was excellent except no WiFi, maybe for a few days that is a good thing!

Pros: Tranquil... reminds me of the classic Himalayan backpackers lodge...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very cosy and friendly spot, and a nice base to explore the area from. Juani really does a lot to make sure you're comfortable, and leaves out the breakfast for a very long time ;)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hostel, friendly host and good location. Walking distance to all you need and a big outdoor area to relax. Nice and quiet area.
Cons: Can get a bit noicy as the walls are really thin but nothing earplugs can't fix ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very helpful and tried to help with his English as much as he could. The Samadi seems more like a nice mountain hut with a cute garden and a quiet neighborhood.
Cons: The bathrooms could use a new makeover, but for this price it's absolutely enough.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hostel is less than 10min walk from the bus station and 3 streets from the "main street". Place is quiet with a nice yard and chairs to enjoy the sun. We had a private room with bathroom in a separate building from the main one. Cleanliness was ok, beds were ok, but insonorisation was bad (concrete walls) so it was noisy at night because of neighbours dogs barking all night. Bring ear plugs! Breakfast was basic and self service but service hours were really accommodating if you need to leave early / late (6am to 11am). Kitchen was well equipped to cook and we could leave our bags for the day before leaving. The host was nice and friendly. Great stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: -staff is friendly and forthcoming -good Internet connection -good complimentary breakfast -nice big Garden -very quiet environment
Cons: -beds! The mattresses are awfully unconfortable (stayed in a dorm-room). I really liked the Hostel, but I would not want to sleep on that mattresses for another night. -dorm-rooms can be nosy, if people are talking or watching TV in The communal area downstairs. -can get very cold in and outside of The hostel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fact I was looking for some peace and I was alone in the hostel was just cherry on top. It felt like home. The quietness, the birds chirping, the awesome staff...
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is warm and welcoming, you feel home and it features a nice garden. The beds are comfortable and warm. Breakfast is simple but good (with Dulce!) and available from early morning to late. Location is good, you can see the mountains on both sides. The staff is friendly and helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Is very well located, it has access to the best places to eat if you want and is very close to the main street in town, the host is amazing and well known everything around to have a great experience.
Cons: The bedroom is too hot at night, you have to open the windows to have some fresh air and have some sleep.
