Quiet, charming, GREAT location, very decent breakfast every morning and baked choc and chip cookies every afternoon. Its walking distance to the center of Oak Bluffs and the bus stops right in front of this beach front property. We returned to fresh towels, made up bed and an endless supply of coffee's and tea's. We had a great time at Isabelle's, who even made dinner reservations for us, and will certainly be staying there when we are on the island again.
Pros: Hotel Employee is extremely friendly and filled with great advice and knowledge of the island. Couldn't ask for more in a host.

Hob Knob's service, facilities, and good are very memorable. They are the standard that I'll judge other bed and breakfast establishments by.

Pros: When we arrived they told us that the room had already been booked, due to another person changing the booking for another website. Cons: Walls are VERY thin. Couple next door had extended argument which I had no reasonable way to avoid - even with the tv volume turned up.

Cons: Showing wear and tear especially in bathrooms and sliders to back porch areas
Pros: Almost everything about our stay at the Harbor View was exceptional. The staff was AMAZING. They went out of their way to see that we were happy with not only our accommodations but with their service. A shout out to Kelly in particular for her kindness and generosity. The room was exceptional and the ladies who took care of it take pride in their work and it shows.
Cons: Nothing everything about the stay was great. The only issue we had was with our key cards but that was quickly resolved by the multi-talented Roy.
Pros: Fantastic location. Beautiful grounds. Awesome porch overlooking the harbor. Breakfast at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. Big room - nicely furnished. Clean.
Cons: Walls are thin with a connecting door to the next room , we were awakened several times by noisy neighbors. Parking is limited and not close.
Pros: I liked everything about out trip. From the rooms, to the very friendly and helpful staff, the town, etc., We loved it.
Cons: That my trip was too short.
Pros: Location to downtown Edgartown. Love the front porch great sunrise!
Cons: Room could have been cleaner.
Cons: Very friendly staff, homey feel, good location, but way, way overpriced. Even given that it is summer on Martha's Vineyard and everything is overpriced, I would have expected more.
Pros: Rooms were big and very comfy.
Breakfast was delicious and the view was amazing.
Pros: Perfect location right in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard. Walking distance to great shops for both his and her shopping. Impeccable location. Had good potencial.
Cons: Parking is cumbersome. I stayed in a standard king room in the governor mayhew building. The view was of their pool. The king bed was dirty, filthy, and very uncomfortable! The bathroom was tiny, very out of date! And poorly, if even, clean. Mold on the top of the shower and hair still in the drain!!! I would have had better cleaning crew at a motel 6 !

Pros: The location was ideal in Edgartown. It was central to the Waterfront, shops, and restaurants. We were also very close to the Chappy Island ferry.
Cons: Everything was dirty. They cleaned our room everyday, but it was clear the bathroom/ bathtub was not cleaned ever. The grime/ soap scum accumulated every day. When we arrived to check in there was no one there for a while. It was like that from time to time. Additionally, someone should recommend vacuuming the lobby steps maybe once in a while. It was really dirty. Lastly, I was pregnant. The first day/ night it was very hot. It was not until we complained that we were told the Central AC was broken and maybe they could bring us a window unit. We got a unit and things got more comfortable (thankfully)
Overall, I would have gone to the Mansion House, Harbor Hotel down the street, or rented a house for the same price but better quality.
Pros: Location, location, location! Right in downtown Edgartown. Could not be any more perfect centralized location. Main Street and the waterfront are only a few steps away just the perfect spot. The hotel is historic charming clean and the staff is friendly. You can leave the car at home for this one it's in just the perfect place. And it is just about a block from the bands and the loud bars so you have peace and quiet and serenity yet close to everything. we do plan on going back. I just wish they would add the bicycles as complementary to the room since the rooms are fairly priced to begin with
