Riverside Lodge - Rushden - Bathroom
1
9.5 Excellent (57 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were excellent the location was idilc and the hosts were amazing made us feel very welcome
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable accommodation and friendly host. Bedroom and bathroom had all the facilities I would expect from a mid-range B&B. There was ample parking and it was close to the centre of Bedford. I enjoyed my stay here immensely.
Cons: Only minor issues. The plug sockets were a little inaccessible. The tv was in need of upgrading. Instead of bulky furniture such as the wardrobe and side board, a desk would have been useful to enable business work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peace and quiet, friendly and helpful owners, rural location but within easy reach of plenty of places. Accomodation everything we needed.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely old house with lots of character in a very pretty area.
Cons: All was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Very welcoming, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was spacious and shower was great. Must say the breakfast was the best I have had.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing for me - lead busy life and it was lovely just to relax. The room was lovely and comfortable and clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - set me up for the day. Thank you. Will definitely stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good, but for the price they could have offered a full breakfast and there was no fruit. Lovely location but difficult to find at night as there is no lighting or signage in the road.
Cons: A shared bathroom is not acceptable for a superior room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So tranquil. The hosts were lovely
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal
Cons: No reflection on the property what so ever but unfortunately the local pub has stopped serving food and for a vegetarian it was Hobson's choice at the pub (the Swan) in the village and the quality / quantity was poor (maybe it was the Chef's night off - Monday)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Not applicable
Redlands Farm - Rushden - Building

9.3 Excellent (81 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Wellingborough, Redlands Farm is within a 15-minute drive of Church of Saint Peter and Wicksteed Park. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely farm house breakfast. Large en_suite wet room. Great location as you would expect when booking a farmhouse B & B. Christine & Geoff were very obliging and able to recommend nice Pubs/Restaurants in the area. Oh!. Nearly forgot. Large TV with Sky TV in the lounge/dining room. The Goats were fab.
Cons: Honestly I can't think of anything
9.0 Excellent
Pros: That it was just for us, 2 bedrooms, one for my disabled son and the other for me and my partner, and a breakfast and communal room that we can all sit in if we wanted to, gate fob to get in and out, you couldn't want for anything else, wonderful friendly staff, and we will book again if we go to Santa Pod
Cons: That unfortunately their wasn't a clear enough sign on the main road as it's off the main dual carriageway but they are fighting with the MP to get one put up, fingers cross the succeed, as it does need one as you can't see it in the dark which is dangerous if the dual carriageway is busy, and the disabled shower seat needs to be moved under the shower or the glass panel needs to be moved out more, as not enough room if your on the large side
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfasts were really good, well cooked, and well presented .
7.5 Good
Pros: Whole experience was as expected but nothing more. Poorly signposted, awkward, (difficult/dangerous) to find due to location on Dual Carridgeway
Cons: Not a dog lover and you could not help but notice their presence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location perfect, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were excellent. A perfect break
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome and friendly staff. Very comfortable and a great breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet B&B with a large, clean warm room. Large clean bathroom with a wonderful shower and plenty fluffy towels
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely place, comfy beds and lovely breakfast
Cons: Difficilt to find. Furniture a bit dated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was very good and central for Northamptonshire. We had a room which would be ideal for disabled people, complete with wet room and a bathroom with all facilities. A little difficult to find in the first instance. We would stay again if in the area.
7.5 Good
Pros: The accommodation was fine and apart from the smoked bacon for breakfast it was fine.
Cons: We were offered mouldy toast for breakfast which fortunately was spotted by us before we ate it!! The owner was completely over the top about some vomit on some bedding which had been sluiced to help with cleaning but still whacked on a hefty surcharge. I soaked and washed the white shirt of the offending youth with no staining and no special treatment!!

Unlike traditional budget accommodation, our guests enjoy all the mod cons: free fibre Wi-Fi, well-appointed conference facilities, 24hr café, en suite power showers and sublimely comfortable Sweet Beds in every room. We've also created a warm, welcoming bar area (complete with pool table for the sharks) for relaxing with a glass of something refreshing. Our building is surrounded by all the conveniences you might need but honestly, you'll find everything you need right here under one roof.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Much better than expected great improvement from our previous stay. Didn't stay for breakfast, but it did look better than the last time we stayed. Value for money would be hard to beat.

Pros: Excellent rooms but check in needs signage
Cons: There was no USB s in room to charge my phone only air charging in reception and not all phones are air chargeable plus you can’t leave your phone unattended while charging witch means you have to stay in bar all evening
5.0 Okay
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Had to pay 10£ early check in fee after I had been told it had been wavered due to the nature of our stay (wedding) the lady was not very nice about it I said I had email to confirm this but she was not interested and said the person tht said tht no longer worked there so I had to pay, which I though was unfair!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were outstanding. They were very busy and were all multi-tasking but they took the time to make me feel welcome and a valued guest. This is pretty rare I find in hotel chains. The location is also excellent for a stop-over on a journey. I would certainly recommend this Ibis to my friends.
Cons: Nothing. I enjoyed my stay.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: the Room was very nice
Cons: Do not stay here if you want to sleep!! The noise from outside is unbearable. Revellers till 6am. Sirens and shouting. Then traffic noise starting at 6am! As an added bonus a minibus parked across road was torched and exploded at 3am! There is secure parking on site for only 4cars! So no chance of getting in to the car park. Parking nearby is limited and not secure.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great room setting with freestanding bath. Good bed, nicely sized bathroom. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Due to the hotel building being pretty old, the windows were not locking fully. Therefore it went quite chilly in the room and as the room was situated towards the main road it was very noisy at night. The freestanding bath did not drain and the shower in the bathroom was either too hot or cold. I would recommend that someone from the hotel will stay at least one night at each hotel room to make sure that everything is working properly. The breakfast was minimalistic and quite disappointing overall.
5.0 Okay
Pros: variety was good but sausages and bacon were under cooked and cold would not risk having the sausages.
Cons: The whole hotel is very run down and needs a lot of TLC Due to renovation of the outside of the Hotel the car park was limited to spaces had to park down the road. one of the residents had there Van broken into and was set on fire and completely destroyed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, no problems except struggled with regulating shower so couldn’t have one in the end as water too hot
Cons: Didn’t like the fact that information about the outside scaffolding and poor parking wasn’t available until after I booked
7.9 Good
Pros: Very spacious room.
Cons: The pull out sofa bed had a biscuit thin mattress, my children would not sleep on it!
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: We like the hotel
Cons: The noise and the very hot shower!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Room and bathroom obviously recently refurbished- lovely and clean, compact but comfortable, great sleep apart from fire alarm going off about 0130...!
Cons: Lack of parking, the hotel itself is obviously a work in progress, rear hall to accommodation very tatty, in progress of having a new roof on building so lots of scaffolding etc, but needs must these things have to be done sometime
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast with great service.
Cons: Difficult to spot a parking stall if you don't know the area.

3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Pub closed, very noisy no wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loveily area
6.7 Good
Pros: The bedroom and bathroom were very good. But there were a few issues:- 1/The room was cold and no way of turning on the heating to the radiator. 2/Their was no hot water and the shower was stone cold in the morning, where it was hot the previous evening, to me this is a huge issue. 3/The bed I assume had a non breathing mattress protector, which makes me wake up several times in the night in a sweat, whilst I understand the need for this item, these cheap ones are no good, we use breathable ones at home and they work fine. 4/whilst there was a usb charging point by the bed, it did not work, in consequence my mobile phone ran out of battery in the night and with no one from the owners to complaint too, we left feeling quite annoyed.
Cons: The bed was comfortable The Tv was good quality The tea and coffee making equipment was good The bathroom and shower were in good condition The place was clean and smelt clean The car park was good The bedroom was not noisy from traffic The location was good The price was good if the issues had not been there.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Absolute dump of a place, needs to be shut down!!!! Stained, horrible towels and linen. The worst part of it all was that it’s been so hot lately and once we arrived the window was broken so we couldn’t open it and get fresh air. We rang the staff to see if we can have alternative room for the night. Called the number on booking.com and was no longer valid. Called a number on the door and spoke to the most un interested, rudest woman, who didn’t care at all. Offered us an alternative room. When opened the door to the second room it stank of sewage and also didn’t have a window. Called the woman again to let her know and argued with us that the rooms don’t smell and are very clean... she obviously didn’t know the property at all. We had no choice but to stay in the boiling hot room. Completely out of order! The whole service and the state of the rooms are disgusting! So dusty and gross. I can appreciate it’s a stables, but this was completely awful. The pub next door has been shut for weeks so couldn’t even have breakfast. Spoke to a local and they explained that they have awful reviews, and have changed management 7 times within 8 months this year!! DO NOT STAY HERE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Extremely comfy bed, absolutely beautiful view, and situated in a nice area
Cons: I feel like the price didn't reflect what we should of got from a hotel, the shower was extremely tiny, and there wasn't much in the way of storage space for personal items. Also the number to get in contact is wrong on booking.com and also google I was only able to get in contact once I arrived at the hotel and saw the number written on a blackboard
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: No restaurant, not as advertised. Not a B&B.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious and friendly staff
Cons: had to drive to get something to eat

Pros: When I spoke to staff they were friendly - it’s a very relaxed and quiet environment

Cons: Me and the family were sharing toilet with the destitutes, the 2 bedrooms were on the 3rd floor with the steepest staircase to climb. There was no hotel staff to direct us, a faceless man direct us where to collect the keys to the room from. No comfort away from home, regretted.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is what it is. It was very cheap and very good value for money. Staff and guests were friendly. The bed was nice and clean. I was close to the loo and showers. The breakfast on offer was perfectly adequate, but I was up visiting family and did not participate. The location was great for what I wanted.
Cons: The paintwork, eg skirting boards and doors could do with a wipe.
