Clean, comfortable accommodation. Would be nice if had proper restaurant for evening meal.

Room itself clean There was a smell in the room, which appeared to come from the water - you had to run the water for a period of time before using it. The hotel was basic, and after arriving late and hoping to get a meal, they had run out of food. There was a lot of noise from other guests in the early hours of the morning.

Hotel very clean and tidy, reception staff polite and friendly No internet connection from my room, very frustrating as I'd had the same problem the night before in a different hotel. Not a lover of the continental breakfast.

A very pleasent wedding reception Vegetables with main course,all of them,except roast potatoes,were very undercooked.

The hotel bed was the most comfortable bed of any hotel we have stayed in recently.Although we arrived quite late in the evening the reception staff were very welcoming.This was our second stay at this hotel.

Recognised as a frequent visitor. Given choice of room. Breakfast coffee is grim.

very reasonably priced and a nice breakfast. It was very basic and the restaurant wasn't open on either night of our stay.

Good location off the motorway. Excellent value for money. Good size rooms and very clean. breakfast was served 8am-10am, and we had to leave at 7.30am so missed out.

Not too much, basic cheap, bit very comfortable Rooms looked better on the Internet, very basic and cheap fit out. Functional but better out there for the money

Rooms were large, good showers! Unfriendly, unhelpful staff who are not interested in the customer and don't know how to work their own systems.

Staff were fairly friendly, tea and coffee was there Room was dirty, not value for money overall

Location The room was bleak, there were people running up and down the corridor at 4am, singing and shouting

clean; polite staff occasional loud pipework/plumbing noise; poor architecture: the view of the roof was needlessly depressing

Staff were very helpful. This was my first time in Northampton and I didn't know my way around, staff provided map and advice of where shops etc were located. There were no 'mini' complimentary tolietries in my room and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty during the whole of my one week's stay

Staff were friendly and polite `There was alot of noise well into the early hours doors banging people shouting to each other until about 03.40

Good location for travel up m1. Effective/swift resolution by management of complaints. Mariotts have modern rooms and Canadian-style facilities. Confusion by check in staff on difference between full account prepayment and recording of credit card details for room charges. After a long corridor walk, we found our room was already occupied - raising security issues, not to mention a major inconvenience. We were not alerted that a four digit code is required to exit the parking lot, requiring a return to the desk.

Food was excellent Drinks seemed pricey but that may be Marriot general policy.

Nice interior of the common facilities Room really hot windows don't open very far, they supplied a small fan which basically circulated warm air around the room. They supplied cushions instead of pillows for the bed which made awkward sleeping on top of the heat and the noise of the fan having to be on all night. Food and drink prices very steep in terms of quality.

Breakfast was decent enough, room was clean, bed was comfy, handy for the golf course if you like golf Decor a bit dated, shower could have been better

Nice bed and design of the room, perfect internet access No possibility to open the window (for me personally very bad, because I am pregnant and all the furniture, carpets etc. were new and still evaporating (toxic?) vapos; air condition in the entrance hall and breakfast room were much too cold!!!!

It is just valu for the price. The room was rather nice and neat, but it was not sound-proof at all. We couldn't get sleep due to noises from hall way. The location is not for trip with family or leisure purpose, since it is located in the middle of industrial area. But the staff, facility, free breakfast were fine. very noisy at night. no facility for fax and print.(we asked to print our boarding tickets, but decliend.)
