Position in Bad Canstatt near Railway station and Breakfast.
There was a "Neues Testament" in my hotel room which is not acceptable (>> Cleanliness of room). I don't care what others believe but I do not accept other people pushing their stupid ideology onto me.
No continental or coocked breakfast only cold meats served, hotel bedroom were behind a hare krishna temple very noisy surroundings noisy hotel
Friendly staff, easy access to public transport, location excellent, quiet, close to amenities, and child friendly More choice of breakfast
Perfect location They did not clean the room (despite I was out from 8AM to 11PM!)
The staff was exceptional. Access to the u-bahn and s-bahn is quite easy and close. Despite the minimalist nature of the hotel it was comfortable. I wish there had been information about the construction next door to the hotel. It was quite loud and deterred and real relaxing during the day. My only complaint about using these various booking sights is that there should be a caveat explaining if there is something of that nature, does make a difference if you're on vacation.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. No coffee/tea making in rooms, breakfast area was a bit small.
It was local to my needs Difficult to get the reception when it was closed [I.E. sundays]
Location of hotel (close to Wilhelma zoo), garage for car parking. During booking we missed the information that front desk is open till 15:30.
Very friendly staff. Large rooms woth kitchen facilities and office desk. Clean and modern bathrooms. Breakfast-buffet very good for a few days. When arriving in the summer and your window is open, morning sounds of city activity are likely to keep you out of your sleep...
Absolutely perfect service; friendly, knowledgeable, timely. Concierge even programmed our rental car GPS for our trip to the airport!
spa area cost of water!! I do also think that the rates are very expensive
the staff at check-in on April 30th was very helpful, available and smiling. everything was on the top of excellence: spa, massage, room, a few steps from city center, closed parking, and the best buffet breakfast I ever seen. I will definitively come back! the staff at the check-out on May 1st did not pay attention to us, not even a smile, very cold and not interested in asking us if we had a pleasant stay. I felt like I was not an interesting customer because I had a good deal on internet. it was sad to leave like this after a so beautiful (too short) stay.
Great Location and very comfortable. Large modern rooms and friendly staff.
It was the perfect choice. Everything was fine.
everything - superior hotel, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, faultlessly clean room good facilities.
Room service Reception not very friendly. Location of the hotel is not good.
The price we paid for a five star hotel was an absolute bargain. We stayed for 5 nights and can have no complaints at all. Location is excellent - it was handy for the city centre, the main station and the underground. Rooms were spacious, very quiet and immaculate. I really can't fault it.
location, comfort and smiling face of staff
Very good location (although my GPS on rental car couldn't find the Hotel at first, but I was able to find myself anyways; like in good old days!) Everything you expect from a Hilton Hotel; staff was friendly, rooms were spotless, well equipped (there were even a microwave), right in the heart of the Stuttgart (next to Porsche Arena and Stuttgart Stadium)... Good value for the money, highly recommended. Pricey breakfast, but still worth it. You gotta start your day right!
The food in the restaurant was terrible
The hotel was nice with a modern decor , plasma tv and free Internet was a great bonus, the staff were very helpful The location is very far of Stuttgart's center, and far away from the train station ( more tan 10 minutes walking) but its ok if you have a car, we boked three rooms for three days and in one day two of the rooms were not cleaned well and not provided with amenities (shampoo, etc )
The hotel was situated near the Mercedes museum which my husband wanted to visit
Room comfort, cleanliness, good facilities, noise reduction. When I asked to stay an additional night, the rate was increased without a reasonable explanation. WiFi access in the room was somehow complicated.
Modern and tidy hotel. Comfortable and clean room & bathroom. Friendly staff. Very convenient to visit the Mercedes museum or the Porsche Arena. Mini-bar available only at the reception (not in room).
Excellent staff, very happy to help. Other inconsiderate guests who would not check out on time.
Free wifi was really good and fast. Bed is comfortable, room was really nice and it has facilities for ironing clothes and even a microwave. Free coffee/hot chocolate machine next to the reception, with really good hot chocolate I might add. Good American style restaurant a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel. The laundry service was inconvenient, you had to give them your laundry before 8:30 A.M or they would charge %50 extra.
summer special 50 % /
The location was perfect, a block away was the spring festival, the reason we visited
Clean, fairly large room. Bar/restaurant were good. Very busy street, near police station so lots of sirens. Pillows not the best.
just one stop to hauptbahnhof, very clean and bright rooms, friendly staff
The atmosphere of the hotel and nice environment more information and leaflets written in English would be great
location small single beds, pillows were awful
It was a pouring wet day and we were glad to have somewhere nice where we could have meals and be comfortable. On a fine day the walk into town would be pleasant but in the rain it was a long way.
Friendliness from staff Unclear about breakfast being included or not
1. To far away from the main station
A fridge, tea and coffee and kettle.
Very freindly, proffesional and helpfull reception staff Would have really liked to have been able to work out and sauna to relax after a hard days work!
not much. staff was polite. very expensive for the service provided. no free internet, no double toileterie despite being a double room. At €140 a night one would expect a bit more quality than a Travel lodge hotel but it didn't. Won't use it again.
A very professionally-run business style hotel in a good location, close to the Schloss and its park. An interesting old building well-converted. Very expensive internet.
Location. Rifght next to a very nice big park. Also great breakfast, and great restaurant for lunch and dinner. Rooms are very spacious. As the hotel is set back from the road, it is also very quiet. The furnishings of the room are modern and new but a bit on the cheap side. Also, the room that we stayed was rather sparsely furnished.
The restaurant and meeting room facilities were excellent. The same is about food served both during the breakfast and lunch. The trash from the previous occupant was still in the waste basket. The layout of the room was not logical for me.
Friendly staff, uncomplicated. Strong smell of smoke when you walked from the hotel lobby to the elevator. Disgusting, but a minor nuisance.
All excellent Poor bar service / no light snacks on the menu
excellent services & food everything was allright
It is in a nice building, originally built for military purposes, now well restored and converted into a hotel.
Business meeting the hotel
The size of the room The buffet was over priced. One morning after the tour bus crowd had finished there was hardly anything left to the buffet and they did not replenish anything for the remaining guests who had yet to eat breakfast. We spent three nights and the mini bar did not get replenished the first day. Both days the wash cloths were missing and the bed linens were not changed the entire time we were there.
The modern design of the hotel was very good with a wonderful entrance and hotel restaurant. The Christmas decorations where wonderful. The room we where in had no window to see outside. Only two little block openings on the floor. This for a business class room I found disappointing. Bar-lady was not very friendly.
The room was lovely and most importantly very quiet. The breakfast was very good - rather expensive, but worth it. Extra charges - 8 EUR for parking, 6 EUR for internet, 14 EUR for breakfast
comfortable, clean room. good location for traveling by train to old city. no.
Everything about the Classic Congress Hotel was great! No complaints. I liked everything
location, is right on train line, nice hotel for price, great breakfast and good free coffee
Room very comfortable - good size. Proximity of public transport excelent. Lack of swimming pool
If you are a coffee lover stay here! The Classic Congress has a fantastic atrium complete with an automated espresso/coffee machine that offers complimentary beverages all day long. The free Finnish sauna room was also sweet. Way the way out in the boonies from Stuttgart and the airport. But not bad if you have a car and really good directions.
Breakfast buffet, quality of duvet covers, fast internet acceess (for a price), coffee bar
Staff was great and we loved the coffee cafe.
comfortable and silent. I will stay again when I visit fellbach again.
The hotel personnel were very nice. The location was quiet (except for the city crew putting up tents and booths for the next evenings fest, but this is no doubt a once-a-year I would recommend the hotel to anyone spending time in Stuttgart. The public transportation from the hotel all over Stuttgart is excellent.
We were assigned a smoking room, and after my wife woke up the first morning with an allergic reaction, we were told they could not move us to a clean room until the day AFTER that, so essentially we lost two days of our vacation to breathing in their nasty, smoky room. Also, despite the "Free WiFi", statement, only WiFi in the lobby is free and it explicitly does not permit e-mail usage! Once we paid for in-room Internet access, we found that other services were blocked! This hotel deserves no business from anyone who needs Internet access until they deal with their incompetent WiFi provider!
Nothing This hotel was really bad. Right from reception , room , breakfast , internet etc. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
we arrived there late, but we can check in and use the restaurant, indoor parking is good for us.. shower booth is too small, so it's difficult to wash my daughter.
No free Internet as promised. Cable TV was German only. Location only useful if you are manufacturing ball bearings
There are a supermarket and the Porsche Museum near this hotel.
Easily accessible by car Neighbourhood
smelled like rotten egg, and that's the best i can say. Changed hotel on the 2nd day
Close to Porsche Museum. Accessible by public transportation. Nearby grocery store. Helpful staff; stored our luggage on early arrival. No breakfast included--pricey breakfast option at hotel.
Breakfast was expensive - €26 per night for a couple. This is more expensive than most of the main evening meals and there is nowhere open on Sunday for food!
Quick and easy, no hassle, excellent facilities. Not really. Very slow service at the restaurant, that's it.
Terribly rude staff. Small room and tiny bed. Awful. Everything was terrible.
staff were freindly rooms clean
Clean, modern and new! Location was central and as easy walk from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff.
Absolutely fabulous lodging and staff
The staff at the hotel were very helpful, professional, and friendly. The hotel rooms, although small, were modern, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was meager and picked over. We were told breakfast was included in our room rate by an employee in the dining room only to be charged for it when we checked out. Very overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed at for what they offered.
Hotel is well located and facilities are good. Undercover parking was handy. Hotel a bit hard to find even with GPS.
breakfast watch out, the hotel is located by the 6 lines main road of the town - half of the rooms have windows on that road. the price is a bit too high for the design - standard - confort provided
This hotel was amazing in every aspect. We had the 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment for two nights and it was a great value, and totally fantastic! Rooms were spacious even by American standards and the baths were huge and spa-like. Staff was friendly and fun and very helpful from reception to concierge to restaurant. We will definitely look to stay in another Arcotel property in the future. Absolutely nothing negative to say!
I hated the room telephone It was hard to use. No clock at all in the room!! There was no breakfast card in the room.
Wellness is nice and free. Rooms are spacy No wireless available in room or elsewhere although your site says it is available. No free internet. Resto quite expensive
Large room The atmosphere in the bathroom is to cold
You are not going to sleep in the castle!
Value for money
The location near the lake and Schloss on one side and hotel and horse stables and riding area is superb. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant adjacent to hetle under same management was excellent the FIRST night. There were spider webs from floor to ceiling in corner by the bed that had obviously been there a long time. Restaurant adjacent to hotel was overly busy the second night (friday) and staff were slow and inefficient. Only received main course after reminding the staff after wait of 60 minutes. No wine offered. Had to wait 30 minutes for a second beer. Should have added staff to help clear tables and take drinks orders?
very friendly staff, nice swimming pool
Breakfast is a bit expensive burt simply great, with a large variety of food! The personell there, as every else in the Hotel, is also very willing to help, kind, welcomimg, listening to your needs and never bothering. The nearby Restaurant is also very good, tasteful and elegant
The long slow breakfast
On our Honeymoon the soundproof walls and the room service.
Excellent service, clean, quality, lovely setting, will come back if in the area again
Breakfast Not having interconnecting rooms
The hotel was located in beautiful parkland which would make it a lovely holiday setting
I feel it is totally overpriced in comparison to other five star hotels. The rooms are smal. The TV is in a position were you cannot sit in bed on watch it comfortably.(TV being on the side of the bed, not at the feet end of it)
Customer Service, room was awesome
Nice room design. Good reception team There is no place to held a meeting with guests in the lobby. For a hotel of that class the lobby is poor. There a special stage in the lobby reserved for VIP customers. This is not good.
had very high expectation from it before we arrived due to its history & the introduction from the guide book. unfortunately it turned out that we only liked the location of it. the management. stayed there for two days. toilet paper was almost out in the first day, but no additional was added. we had to ask for it by ourselves the next morning after running out of it. The heater didn't really work in the first day, either, even though it was fixed the next day after we notified the front desk during the night. The guy taking care of the problem at 4:00am after we were awoke by the cold temperature didn't seem to feel sorry about the situation. maybe we were being too polite during that time? obviously something wrong with the management of this hotel.
Location - great for the shops and the railway station. Very friendly staff - both the cleaning staff and those on the front desk. We waited in the bar inside the foyer to be served a drink but the waiter didn't serve us - not really a problem as we went into the very friendly zeppelinos bar, which was part of the hotel, instead, but disappointing that the waiter didn't see us.
Location near the train station is very convenient The wifi is a ridiculous joke -- very slow, drops constantly, and when I asked the front desk attendant for a room with good service, she put me in the room furthest from the server. I had to stand in the hallway to reconnect, repeatedly.
Central location. The Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin had lost my booking/reservation. It took me 30 minutes to check-in. When checking-out reservation was lost again. Amazing for a 5-star hotel: no room service from 10pm to 6am.
Location is very good near the main station Price very high, they asked for more money to get a twin bed room instead of Double.
€35 for a toasted sandwich in the bar at night......
Very centrally located, neat and clean it must be possible to go to the room before 15.00
Nice decoration and very clean rooms, very quiet- no disturbances and very good sound insulation-, friendly staff, good quality breakfast. Restaurant was closed, so we missed the chance to eat in a Michelin-star restaurant
Ver pleasant stay
Reception staff very efficient and the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean Bearing in mind I stayed at the hotel in August on a Saturday night, I was disappointed that despite the beautiful weather, the bar was closed and it was not possible even to sit outside in the garden. When I asked to sit outside, one gentleman staff member appeared quite unfriendly. As a result we walked to a place nearby for a drink and ended up having dinner there as well.
For a small town on the outskirts of Stuttgart, this hotel is a particularly good find. The rooms are well-furnished, neat and very comfortable. The facilities (such as the pool) are very good. But especially good is the food. There's a Michelin-starred restaurant at the heart of this business.
We were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious accomodations provided at this hotel. It was staffed by an attentive complement that made the experience even richer. Parking on site is availabe, but limited. Breakfast was complete and delicious. Would stay here again without any hesitation.
The staff at the hotel made you feel you were priority one. The rms where quiet, immaculate and pleasant. The town was picturesque. The pool/sauna area was great!
Nothing in special Staff was kind of cold! Not real friendly. Except for one person during breakfirst all other were not really clientfriendly and customer focussed!
the fact that we come from australia it was snowing and the character of the hotel was excellent no tea or coffe facilities
Staff were friendly and helpful. Free internet is an asset. Room was too warm.
Good breakfast and swimming-pool
It was close to the company. Nothing.
Centrally located in a pretty town, rooms clean and comfortable. Good bathroom We stayed twice within 10 days and had booked a double room for each seperate night. On each stay we were given the same twin room. Car parking spaces are limited at rear of hotel, and on second night our car had to be left in the Town main car park (free to hotel guest), which was a bit of a faff.
Close to the tram stops. Room bigger than expected.
A clean comfortable hotel.
Wireless internet was reasonably priced at €5 per day. We arrived late (nearly midnight) and someone kindly waited up for us with no fuss. The hotel is not 4 star. Room was small, our double bed was small, and the duvet barely covered it. Parking is advertised and despite also requesting on booking none was available. Breakfast is €12 which we passed as it is not worth the money at all.
Rooms were clean
i ate a dinner ,it was ok ,raport quality-price. i did not like- the rooms are very expensive 87 singleroom and in this price is not included wi-fi and breakfast.by the way wi-fi is writed on booking with 3 euro / day and at reception i must paid 5 euro.even at this price it doesn't work good every day.the furtniture it was new 15 years ago but now is old. actually the hotel must have 3 star not 4 . the breakfast is also expensive 12 euro / 1 person.
Pool and sauna are great! Wifi not available in hotel bar
Not as nice as the other hotels we stayed at during our week away
The location is great. Perfect connection to ground public transportation and shopping areas. Rooms are design and modern with great view. Great breakfast buffet. The nude visitors of the Spa & Wellness section are not acceptable in an international hotel ! As courtesy and respect for other cultures and nationalities, a minimum dresscode should be respected. Nude hotel guests or visitors were using the spa facilities. Also the pillows of the beds are too big and hard.
Very comfortable, easy access to railway
Spa facilities Bar prices very expensive
The SPA was great, location of the hotel very convinient 50m from S-Bahn Airport-Center
The attention and professionalism of the staff, the quality of the breakfast, the hotel's facilities The hotel has a very high-standard spa facility, unfortunately areas like the pool are "textile free"
everything was perfect.....room, spa, position, restaurant and bar....
Located right by the S-Bahn station and bus stop but soundproofing excellent so no noise. Short walk to shops etc. Excellent restaurant. Tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was expensive (20 euros) and not included in price.
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The spa is fantastic!! Since the hotel is located just beside the S-Bahn station, moving around the city is easy, even in the evenings. The park in front of the hotel is also lovely.
Efficiet reception despite heavy conference traffic, and a very nice hotel for the weekend The bathroom drain made odd nioses and it turns out the room next door had waste water coming up through the drain
Early closing of Café Espresso
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The suite was very spacious and clean; hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Location - quite central.
The quality of the hotel was obvious when we arrived. There was an initial problem at reception as they were fully booked and had trouble getting us a room. This was despite booking 7 months in advance. However, it was quickly sorted and we were given an upgrade. The room was excellent and the location very handy for where we wanted to go. As above, there was an initial problem at reception as they were fully booked and had trouble getting us a room. This was despite booking 7 months in advance. However, it was quickly sorted and we were given an upgrade. We didn't consider breakfast as we thought it too expensive. Overall though everything else was very good.
the pool and sauna were not comfortable and big enough for the such big hotel
Comfortable hotel with good facilities. Helpful staff. Air conditioning didn't work, so room very warm. At 250 Euros (excluding breakfast) it's ridiculous that you aren't offered free internet access (this is charged separately).
staff and cleanliness
The room was great and it was a smoking bar in the reception
Piano bar long walk to second bedroom block
overall facility and services were very luxurious
Breakfast served very well in buffet style bar (next door) has been reserved for smokers, and cannot allow children to come in
the man from reception is very ok.he change our room smoking whit non smoking.
The bed was very comfortable. The size of the television could be bigger.
The parking garage underneath the hotel was a huge plus and very nice. The hotel was nice and secure and the breakfast was nice. Our room was large enough for all 4 of us to spread out. The bar played music, late and loud. We could hear it (and all the words to the songs) loud and clear.
convenient and friendly
very cheap and very clean
The family room was spacious and owner manager friendly and efficient. There was also excellent secure parking with easy access to the hotel. No baby chair available at breakfast.
clean and attactive room - excellent breakfast - friendly staff
Very friendly staff, they were very flexible. The private garage underneath the hotel is a huge plus. Very spacious room with tv with several international chanels. The bar next to the hotel is really nice as well. Small bathroom, but we only stayed for one night, so that was not a problem. Maybe for a longer stay, this might be an inconvenience.
comfort of room , cleanliness, very good location not far from city centre the fridge didn't work
Very good location. Spotless clean room and bath room. The bath room of the signle room is quite big, compared with other German hotel. Very quite during night (my room is facing the hill and other buildings). Breakfast fresh and good variaty of cold and hot food. All in all, excellent value for money. Thin wall between rooms. You can hear from your neighbour many things...
near the station some staff were not very friendly
Hospitality, friendly staffs, close to train station and main streets.
Close from the main station
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is just a couple of blocks from the main train station. Breakfast was excellent. WiFi was free and good. Room was comfortable and clean. nothing.
Breakfast was tasty and quite filling. Internet reception was great (our room was near the reception). We loved the free parking, and the lack of a pet fee. The receptionists were friendly. The room was very comfortable, though it wasn't huge. Of all the hotels/b&bs we stayed at in Germany, this was our favorite. The room was a little small. I didn't like that the double bed was 2 mattresses stuck together instead of one single mattress. It was also mildly irritating that there wasn't a 'do not disturb' sign for the door, and when you asked not to be disturbed the cleaning staff didn't follow through.
Room was nice and clean. The hotel stuff is very kind and helpful. There was no minibar in the room. Brakfast was a little bit poor.
W-Lan free of charge. Breakfast with no various choices. Some rooms stand in front of a big crossroad --> noisy!
Very near to the main tourist attractions in Stuttgart. Free private parking place. Easy to reach. Nice breakfast with nice crockery :-)!
Convenient location for the railway station and town centre
I am very disappointed about the facilities. The pictures opened in booking.com is different from the real. But if you pass the hell night, you can meet not bad breakfast.
