The pub & Location
An old fashioned hotel full of character Not really
in the centre, easy access to the cathedral and Royal Worcester
Central location, staff very pleasant and an amazing breakfast. Quite noisy early in the morning with road sweepers and deliveries.
Excellent bar food.. Convenient for city centre.. Room basic old fashioned and very small ..I was on my own but very surprised to get a single bed!
The location The service in the restaurant at breakfast
Convienient for the town and site seeing, very good Pub and dinning facilities. Really liked the rambling, individuality! The room was very hot, had to have windows open despite it being Nov!!!
Cosy, traditional, centrally located, lovely breakfast - just what I was looking for. n/a
Excellent breakfast and very good location Bathroom window did not close properly
Very helpful and pleasant staff; excellent food; comfortable and reasonably-priced accommodation; excellent location in Worcester. Rather noisy on Friar St. side.
the setting was very good next to the river lovely even in winter,we enjoyed the sitting room which would have been even better had the fire been alight to warm the room. We had talked about making it a regular event, but see below.[ I only found this out after we had left and thought it was just me. A bit to quite, only one real bitter, and we all had upset stomachs with vomiting and diarrhoea. Talking to the others the two who had the salmon said it was over cooked and dry [ one is a chef] and the food is not cheap. As I only found this out after we had left well. I had phoned with a view to a repeat but I feel this will not happen due to the food.
Friendly staff good evening meal and breakfast very clean room Rooms dated but comfy no hot water in morning
Lovely location. Helpful and friendly staff. Laid back and relaxing. We stayed at the Lenchford Inn to attend a wedding nearby.Tried to book a taxi but costs were extortionate as taxi had to come from Worcester! So had to drive. Beautiful location but not well served re bookable transport.
Nice setting, friendly staff Bed seemed a little short
Spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom, and spacious. Very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was quite good too. None
The staff and service were excellent
Very freindly and helpful service .... even when quiet. The en-suite bathroom was dated.
It was a lovely setting, the sitting room was a nice place to seat and chat which would have been even better had the fire been alight to warm the room.I was given a warm welcome, and the friends I was with talked of making it a regular event. see below It was a bit quite, we were the only ones in the dining room, only one real bitter, and the place could have been warmer. and we all had stomach upsets with vomiting and diarrhoea talking to the others the two [one is a chef] who had the salmon said it was over cooked and dry and the food is not cheap. I only found out about the illness after we had left as Ithought it was just me I had phoned with a view to a repeat but feel this will not happen due to the food.
The hotel is a nice place, in the nature, situatet just beside the river Severn. We had a nice dobbleroom with acces to the river. On the homepage, it is difficult to find the hotel. The dot, which placec the hotel, is in the middle of nowhere! According to the address, my gps places the hotel in the neighbour village! But we found it!
Brilliant views over the river Dated look to rooms
