The location was good and the room was clean. The hotel staff was not very friendly and the breakfast was poor.
Staff treated me and dog very well
Great value for the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful and provided an incredible dinner recommendation. Room was very clean and comfortable. The mattress wasn't as nice and comfortable as we expected, especially relative to the rest of the experience.
Good room. Good breakfast. The gym was a little small and windowless
A they honored your booking even though they did not have record of your service making a reservation.
Location is great! Breakfast needs improvement for a four star hotel. Parking is expensive.
Easy to conect to the internett. The hotell oppgraded from one room, tree beds to two room without extra charge.
The design of the hotel! Actually, it was the reason why I chose it. With the help of its long history, both exterior and interior look fascinating. Taking our passports during our stay... That was not good.
Very nice staff, good location noice from other rooms, from the street
Excellent location - we could walk or take the tram to everything. Our room was comfortable, clean and well serviced (requested extra pillows and refills for the mini bar). Loved the indirect lighting in bedroom and bathroom too. I'm not sure that the hotel can accommodate wheelchair accessibility - there were a lot of stairs. Otherwise no complaints!
Excellent breakfast to start the day in relaxing surroundings; efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Attention to detail. Prime location in the city. Nil.
It was good to find a vintage hotel lovingly restored and in in full operation.
Perfectly located in the very center of the city, it has complete facilities for everything needed.... and the price was very good!
hotel dubronki was centrally located but not noisy--the staff was effecient and pleasant..the rooms were nicely furnished--we stayed in a standard and there was a desk,,small table and chairs and two twin beds--traveling with adult child...the bathrooms were spacious and clean--there was no coffee in the rooms but otherwise everything you wanted was there--i would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore zagreb old town--we loved it.... the breakfast that comes with the room is very nice with large selection of meats/cheeses/grilled veggies/stuckli/ breads etc etc we ate breakfast here four times and was never disappointed...yum only thing was no coffee in rooms--but we did not find this in any room in croatia except one that came with a kitchenette and then that was instant--even thoough croatia has a coffee culture it is cafe oriented.
The hotel is OK, but KAYAK service is terrible, I sent you several e mails that I need invoice from you for my staying in hotel Dubrovnik, becouse I paid to you, not to hotel. Without invoice, I can't refund monay from the company where I work. I now understood that Kayak is not correct with their customers, you don't care about them.. Regards Davor Kostelic
The location of the hotel is excellent and some of the rroms is refurbished
Excellent location for everything except arriving by personal car.
location, every day cleanliness, breakfast noisy at night in the street, cold inside as window isolation is not good
Excellent location - best in the city, good breakfast, the size of the hotel guarantees a lot of privacy In the end I was chared a price bigger than the one guaranteed on this site.
Best location in the city for a hotel Nice large rooms Helpful staff Bathroom could have been cleaner
Good breakfast and location I had to pay 20€ per night for my dog. Small room.
Nice rooms in good repair. Air conditioning only cooled to 23 C. I asked reception 3 times to come to the room and check it out. I was largely ignored and the young guy on duty I asked for help went off duty late that night. Finally at 10:30 pm someone came, showed me how to set the thermostat, which I had allready done, and set the temp at 17 C. Did no good. The room temperature remained at 23 to 24 degrees all day and night. Nice hotel, excellent location, nice rooms, and very poor staff.
Exelent location, very good rooms, Parking for car is not near by.
Hotel is situated exactly in the centre of Zagreb. Very clean and well furnished. Price reasonable. Personnel very friendly (very good English). Breakfast-very good choice of self-service bar.
The location is superb and the staff (almost all of them) extremely helpful! The facilities are a bit worn, but if you don't expect luxury it's ok. And the location makes up for any defects!
the breakfast saloon is decorated very nice; breakfast meal was good and various the hotel is situated on a pedestrian street / no auto access; a little bit of distance for carrying the luggage from the parking
It would be hard to be more central Zagreb than that... and the staff, in our case anyway, were not simply staff, they became friends.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, they are really very nice people. The hotel is in the center of Zagreb.
If I am correct the hotel is the oldest hotel of Zagreb. The hotel is clean and the people are friendly but for me it was not what I expected as I was looking more for a business hotel. The hotel did not have an elevator, the parking is 5 minutes walking and you cannot get to the hotel with your car as the street is a walking street. Also the hotel is hard to find as it is located in a old shopping mall. Personally I would advice this hotel to tourists who want to be in the centre of the city without having to pay a high cost.
Very warm and attencious staff Nothing in the mini-bar; old beds.
The location was perfect, just below the old town. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were given a small suite, although we only booked a double room. Excellent value. The guide book recommended the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately this has now closed.
Close to the sights we wanted to see. Nice and helpful staff.
The place where the hotel is great Everything was fine.
Good location if travelling without car Room had unpleasant smell coming from bathroom and flooring was noisy. No possibility to alter heating of room - sometimes it was cold. Possibly due to cold weather outside dining-room was wintery as well.
The location of the hotel is what makes the hotel interesting.Taking into consideration the facilities it is not really a 3 star hotel. The facilities esspecially the breakfast.
Parking place is available upon request and this is really necessary as parkings in town are quite expensive Breakfast could be improved
the distance from the Cathedral is 10 minutes' walk; the breakfast is quite poor, no internet access in the rooms (at least we couldn't reach it, but we were charged for it) and the price for such rooms are too high
Zagreb was bleak, the hotel was bleak Breakfast was very basic
Location On checkout the manager was unresponsive when advised of the condition of the room. Hotel was grossly overpriced. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, the carpet was frayed, dirty and mouldy, paint was peeling off the walls (which were completely bare), the telephone and bedside lamp (a bare light globe) did not work, the room had not been vacuumed for some time, there was a empty water bottle and a used tissue under the bed. The bed base was broken and propped up with a block of wood and the fabric was ripped. The bathroom fittings were broken. The room was noisy with tram traffic outside. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
the location - the only reason i picked it. stayed at Astoria before which is way nicer and can be cheaper but this time wanted to be closer to the action this is a very basic hotel, somehow i didn't expect it to be *that* basic. no frills, minimal comfort, mebbe 3 channels on TV, lamish breakfast
it´s very near to the city, to the cathedral and especially to the medical universitity. the hotel staff is very friendly. one hears very good the TV in the rooms nextby at the right and at the left.
nice, friendly staff, good location the breakfasts are "too monotonous" wthout vegateblas, cottage cheese, what I missed, and also too noisy rooms at the street side.
