Both Lufthansa and my travel agency pointed the finger at the other and I had to purchase another $1000 ticket to get home. There was no cancellation emails or any notification. I didn’t know my tixkets were cancelled until I was trying to check in. Worst experience ever!!"

Staff had some trouble adjusting to individual request (e.g. one passenger changed her mind on the meal choice and confused the staff member who tried to force the food choice on this older lady). Obviously, dealing with elderly is not the same as dealing with young - this may require some additional training of staff members.On another occasion, two passengers exchanged seats - and it took some time for staff to sort this out at the meal time. A "Muslim meal" was offered to a christian passenger. - The interchange was hilarious."

Cons: "The seats are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. The food from Frankfurt to Denver was subpar. The first 2 hours were very bumpy and unusual for that part of an Europe to USA crossing. The spacing of the middle seats with the support struts having to straddle for 13 hours is too much. I could go on, but you really need to rethink the design and customer service on your long haul flights."

There was also complimentary wine, beer, and spirits on board. It's been a while since I've flown overseas and was impressed with the wide array of available movies and in-flight entertainment. The crew was great and very attentive."
Cons: "It was the most chaotic boarding process I have ever seen. They had us at a gate with seats for about 50 people so people were crowded into the walkway area of the terminal. The announcements were very hard to hear if you weren't right by the person making them. There was no orderly boarding. Instead, there was a mad rush for those that weren't elite status of some sort to begin boarding."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Cons: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Etihad didn't load all my luggage due to transfer - so had to stand in line to file a report after a 34 h flight! Very unhappy about that, even though luggage arrived later on same day.. Boarding process was chaotic. Can you get Indians to form a line by zones, as all other airlines do??? Finally, I was cramped into a non reclining window exit row seat even though I had explicitly stated in my Etihad preferences that I preferred aisle. A most uncomfortable journey after a long wait. Almost decided I'll never fly your airline again. Just almost..."

Pros: "This was a good experience overall other than the fact that my bag did not arrive until 36 hours later but I attribute that more to United since they were the carrier that needed to transfer the bag to Etihad from my prior flight. Food was excellent and so was the entertainment system with the bigger screens even in economy. The seats we had were also good with decent leg room compared to other economy seats with other airlines. One area for improvement could be around just having more presence in Frankfurt airport in terms of a transfer desk in other terminals to help passengers in transit."

Cons: "I had requested vegetarian food specifically during my booking. But on the flight they said they did not carry any veg food at all. When i told them i had requested it earlier through their booking system, they revealed ( made up) a fact that food request had to be reconfirmed atleast 8 hours before the flight. I cannot make sense of this outrageous rule. How can a passenger who was on a trans atlantic flight just before for 16 hours, make a food request confirmation ? Either they do not bother honoring the itinerary requests or they used this as an excuse for their mistake."

Cons: "I received my bag broken that it can not be used again and it was new from italy that i used only once.. i have pictures of it that show how broken it is...i travelled a lot and it never happened to me but with my first experience with your company i came with two bags one is broken and the other is very very very dirty and dusty.... that makes me never choose this company again only if you fixed and solved the problem... Second concerning food... the flight from new delhi to abu dhabi the crew said we have only lamb .. lamb couldnt be the only option from my opinion not all people eat lamb so i had nothing to eat and there were no other option as the crew said that chicken is finished and this is strange for a well known company"

Cons: "I already feed finished all bookings in May, it had to pay the costs. But they My booking had not been confirmed. Where I can not even find my reservation information. It is a very terrible thing. So I again pay 680.84 EUR I had to buy a plane ticket again. Never forget a very horrible experience. I accept 680.84EUR necessarily return the card fee. I will sue you by law."

When we came to check in on the return my partner was told that she could not get a seat, the flight was over booked and she probably wouldn't fly. Luckily the check-in assistant managed to sort it out eventually. Crappy customer servce though to be honest."

Cons: "Seats are way too small!!! I was lucky as I was in A and B, C were empty. If I had a seatmate in B it would have been VERY uncomfortable. Worst yet, if that seatmate was a kid or big person. Was really disappointed as I read that this airline was rated number six out of 100. Definitely more like number sixty!!!"

Cons: "My flight was serviced by British Airways. The temperature in the cabinet was very warm and there were no fan controls. The seats are very narrow. Miserable 9hr flight from London to Denver"

Cons: "Small video monitors with poor picture quality and sound was also difficult to hear. No power jacks. Oh, and 2 hours sitting on the tarmac because of a “bag discrepancy.” If the bags can’t get along, who really cares!"

Cons: "2 drunk guys speaking Russian I think totally ruined the flight. They were ridiculously loud, making it impossible to sleep. Drinking multiple wines, they got louder and louder and more animated and sloppy. Really gross and for a 9+ hour flight, not enjoyable. Eventually, a flight attendant gently told them no more to drink and was very good. But it was too late. I have flown a ton and have never heard passengers this loud, in a foreign language. In addition, one of them was quite large with a bald head, thus intimidating. We had a very long day and just wanted to rest and that was not at al possible."

Pros: "Because we missed our connecting, British Airways did provide us with food and hotel."
Cons: "We missed our connecting flight because somebody checked in and checked bag for our incoming flight, but did not get on the plane. It delayed us an hour. The problem was when we got to Heathrow 45 minutes before flight left, but they had already bumped us from the flight. We could’ve easily made the flight, but they blamed it on the computers, and we had to get on a flight the next day. I think we need to quit relying so much on computers, and use our actual brains!"

Cons: "Flying is uncomfortable and painful. The seats are thin with little padding. I kept getting poked and prodded by the person in the seat behind me, and it wasn't even a little kid kicking the seat. I have a problem with my foot, and there is piece of hard plastic or something that runs the length of the plane, under the aisle seat. I had to make sure my foot didn't rest on time because it was painful to my foot."

Cons: "The entertainment on the flight didn't work. It is not easy to have two small kids on a 9 hour flight when the entertainment system isn't working properly. We did bring our own items to entertain our kids but with the limitations on what you can carry on we were banking on them being able to use the in flight system."

He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

We can't wait to fly with British Airways again!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed for over an hour after boarding, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm. Even after takeoff, it took several hours for the temperature to cool down to normal. I have not experienced this before and wonder why it took so long to cool. All of the passengers around me were complaining of the heat.."

Cons: "We paid extra for what we thought was isle seating. We did not receive the isle seating. We were in the seat directly behind the isle seating. It did not seem to have any more leg room than any other seats. Just concerning as we paid extra for what we thought was extra leg room? Rest service was Excellent. Staff and food was great."

Cons: "Our British Airways flights were cancelled going & returning on the trip. This resulted in rebooking in both directions, at different points in the trip. The cancellation on the return trip was extremely inconvenient since we didn't have a phone to contact BA. After wondering the airport on the day of our departure, for a BA representative that could help, we were directed to a ticket sales office. Then after waiting for another one (1) hour in a line, the BA representative rebooked our return flights. This was not a good way to start or end a trip!"

Cons: "Boarded and our 3 year old fell asleep. sat on the plane for 50 minutes before being told to get off the plane. Ended up with a delay of almost 6 hours. sorry, very frustrated."

Cons: "Our flight out was delayed 7 hours and we still had to be at the airport for the original departure time. We were uncomfortable in our middle seats on the way out as well. Also, it would be nice to get refills on coffee or tea during the flight. I asked for a second cup of coffee and was turned down."
