Plane congestion resulted in a 1 hr wait from landing to arrival at the gate. This was in addition to also experiencing extreme delays on my incoming flight.
Flight was delayed 14 hours due to DC air show and weather. Missed connection to MUC.
The entertainment options on the seat back video boards were nice.
United didn’t even try to hold the flight for me. They knew I had a tight connection and when I arrived at the gate less than 10 mins after final boarding the flight had already gone. The gate agent wasn’t even notified that I was on my way. She was told I wasn’t at the airport
Everything went well except the turbulence what no one have a control of but pilot and crew handled very good!
There was no WiFi available, there were mechanical problems with the plane and we landed at C 124, then the gate was switched to A 26, then all the way back to C126! For a 75 yo woman traveling alone, this was a difficult journey, indeed!
I still prefer Delta, but Delta doesn’t fly to State College PA.
This flight was delayed multiple times and eventually canceled around 2-3ish. Original take off time was around 10:30am. By 3, there were no other options out of Houston, so stuck in Houston for from 3pm - 11am the next day.
Nothing bad to say about the actual crew or airline. It was nice to have a complimentary FULL can of soda, as well as a snack. Blankets and earbuds were also provided at no cost for this red eye flight. I especially appreciated the free WiFi and movie selection with the Bluetooth option. It helped the flight pass more quickly. No matter who you fly, boarding and disembarking are always SUCH a pain. As I mentioned, this is on the passengers and not the crew!!
Ok so apparently the new policy on United Airlines is that customers in the main cabin should NEVER be served more than once and besides picking up trash there should NEVER be another interaction with the customer for any reason.
My flight depature was changed. Then it was delayed, and then cancelled after I reached the gate.I paid $231 for a hotel room that I didn't get to use because I arrived 24 hours later than I was suppossed to. My wife had to pick me up from the airport and I had to pay for an another ride back to the airport the next day. They did get me faster/ priority through TSA. The 2nd flight was okay
It was significantly delayed. Also the admirals club in Philadelphia airport near Gate B is absolutely filthy. Good was on the floor. Flies on the cheese. And the men’s restroom had pools of urine on the floor. I am not using that lounge again.
It was good overall. On my transition from Philadelphia to Boston,the gate information wasn't correct. When I went to check the gate information; I found out that my flight was boarding clear across the airport at another gate. Fortunately I rushed over there and made it on time while they were in the middle of boarding.
For the first time in all my travels I found the arm rests very inadequate and painful. The arm rest between me and the passenger to my left was thin and didn’t support either of us. On the right side, (window side) the armrest was thin and short causing me pain mid-arm.
I've flown American several times this summer and I have yet to get a flight that leaves on time. However, a delay is better than a cancel. So far I have had four canceled flights and two delayed flights
The flight was delayed and was not forthright on the time that it was likely to depart where Flight Radar 24 was reflecting a later time that ended up being accurate for the takeoff. The plane was filthy with food smashed into the carpet and crumbs were piled under the seat where I was to put my backpack. It looked like a full sized Lotus Biscoff cookie was pulverized under the seats in my section. The seats were so uncomfortable especially when the person in front reclined his seat completely to where it was smashed against my knees and I am only 5'2". The fruit and cheese box for $13 was lackluster with no flavor and not satiating at all. The plus side is that I did get one full can of ginger ale. The flight attendants looked miserable and tired, probably due to the last minute need for a new flight attendant to fill in since the original one assigned could not continue on to service this flight. Improve the flight experience for customers and maybe the irritability and stress of flying in today's environment will not negatively impact the joy and stress of the employees/flight crew. This is why I prefer to fly non-US carriers whenever given the chance.
Another American flight delay. Gate staff was gratuitously abusive of anyone expressing frustration. This will be my last American Airlines flight
Abysmal, getting delayed approximately 13 times, having to switch out a crew with another crew that timed out within an hour, and customer service representatives that abandoned the stranded travelers. Terrible service
Great crew. We were delayed so that late passengers could get on the flight. Love the bedding in business class. Good food. Great experience.
No complaints. The flight was uneventful, which is a good thing.
