I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

The level of professionalism is much higher on JAL in regards to the flight attendants than AA. The boarding process still needs a lot of work to be more organized (take a look at JAL as an example - they treat customers like kings and queens). Also, there was no way to get a seat assignment through the JAL website. That website looks and acts like it’s from the late 90s."

The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."

I thought "wow that is amazing sevice! I am def going to brag on them." I should have done it myself... after a 30 hour traveling day.. I got to the counter to get on my second scheduled flight home, and it wouldn't let me on because something with my Rickey was not working on the computer. The person did not know how to fix it so I missed the flight. After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."

But to put that many people on a "cattle car" for a 6 hour flight... no bueno. Also, I could not check in online to get seats and I wasn't able to upgrade. My husband was stuck 13 rows behind me. Everyone around me was trying to open their air vents to get more cool air and/or fanning themselves. I asked the flight attendant about it and he said that the plane was just old and it would cool off eventually. It did, about 20 minutes before they cut the air down again for landing. By the time I got off the plane I was nauseated from the heat and stale air. It will be a long time before I fly United again if this is any indication of the condition of their planes."

The pilot stated that Sky Harbor doesn’t have deicing services which I personally know to be false because southwest and delta both have deicing services and their is a deicing location at the airport. Instead we waited for the sun to thaw the airplane and further waited for a fuel truck afterwards. Only the first three rows have reclining seats that you pay extra for. I only recommend frontier for SHORT commutes, as the seats really are that uncomfortable with very little padding. NEVER AGAIN!"

Cons: "The seat padding reminded me of what I imagine they would have in the trustee's area at a correctional facility. Also the "tray table" was not really big enough to support an open paperback book and definitely not a magazine."

Cons: "The check-in representative at Atlanta was not polite to describe why carry on bag was charged. Normally most airlines do not charge for carry on bags and I was in the impression there would be no charge but when I asked whey did Frontier started charging for carry on bags. She said, "it has always been", which is not true. The carry on bag charge seems to start from March 4th, 2017 according to the Terms and Conditions in the ticket. I paid for the carry on after verifying it through google search and in my ticket which she could have easily explained to me. She chose not to. I think Frontier needs to train such staffs. I have flown few other airlines and they offer complimentary snacks although minimal. In case of Frontier you have to purchase everything except water. I was flabbergasted that you have to pay everything in-flight except water. I am from different country and I have always been offered good snacks, sodas, teas/coffees. It has been please flight experience, but man American airlines particularly with Frontier, don't even expect that. They only talk money. That is it. I probably will not travel with Frontier next time unless I find super cheap fare and I am carrying only a hand bag."

Cons: "Seats are incredibly uncomfortable and did not recline. Frontier also changed my reservation/ departure date to leave 24 hours ahead of the day I wanted. For the life of me I will never figure out why. Baggage fees are stupid. Lack of transparency. I asked myself many times why why why I choose to book on Frontier. I guess you really do get what you pay for."

Cons: "I was not aware that I'd have to pay for carry-on luggage. If I had, Frontier would not have been the cheapest flight and I wouldn't have flown them. Seats were super uncomfortable, no option to recline, no adjusting head rest, tray table was maybe 4 inches of tray that wouldn't hold a book. Frontier offers no snacks or drinks save water; you have to pay for everything, including soda, coffee, etc."

Cons: "Their ticket counter at LGA is hardly ever open and when it is their employees are rude. They tried to charge me $410 to change a flight i originally paid $210 for. I tried to move it one day. Also, get ready for a 30 min sales pitch for their credit card. Talk about a captive audience. Garbage airline. Do not use."

Pros: "The flight was very good. On time going and coming back. Staff very nice. Boarded early and flights coming and returning were on time. No problem with picking up bags checked in at either airport."
Cons: "The seats are not comfortable when on a flight longer than an hour. To get a seat that reclines you have to pay an additional $16. I also didn't like the fact that if you have a bag to check that has to be done at least 18 hours before your check in. I had a 7 am flight and was charged an additional $5 because I checked my bag in at 11 pm the night before when I was checking in for my flight. Made sure I checked my bag a day ahead on my return flight to receive the discount"

Pros: "We were given notice the flight was delayed then told it was leaving on time, only to still sit at the gate for 45 minutes awaiting to board flight. The poor gate attendant didn't even have a microphone or PA system & she took a lot of flack"
Cons: "Frontier has way too many fees, fees to check bags, carry on bags and to pick a seat. I would rather pay extra in the beginning to avoid the hassle of juggling all the fees while checking in. Also the staff at LAX was no where to be found during boarding. I needed to speak with somene regarding my flight and there was no one around to assist and that may have taken part in me missing my flight."

Cons: "Literally Everything else was horrid. The seats reminded me of plastic seats from grade school with a 1 inch cushion. My lower back is currently screaming in pain. The flight was cheap to book but what they didn't tell you when you booked is that you have to pay for carry on. I expect having to pay for checked in luggage but carry ons?? That you have to carry on yourself? And also different from literally every other airline, you have to pay to pick your seats! So yes i paid cheap for a flight but every other generally standard thing cost extra. A can of soda is 2$ which made me laugh so for entertainment there's that. Also loved that when my flight arrived at the gate there was no landing crew to receive us. The captain said either they forgot or they didn't know we were coming. Had to wait for an alternate crew."
Cons: "Delayed 3 hours, then told flight was cancelled! Frontier did nothing for passengers! Return flight had over 2 hour delay! We changed carrier and had no problems. Will never fly Frontier again!"

Cons: "Another member of our party was flying to O'hare on Frontier and had a two hour delay leaving Denver. They also had a five and a half hour delay coming to Denver. Moral of the story is if your flying to Denver from St. Louis fly Frontier. If your flying to Denver from O' hare don't ever fly Frontier."
Cons: "I was not allowed to e-check in... you don't participate in TSA Precheck and to add insult to everything else, when I showed up to the ticket counter to check in (because you don't allow e-check in) I was charge for my carry on bag. ... obviously the reason you don't allow e-check in. Who travels without a bag??? this is absolutely absurd. On the plane I was even charged for coffee and a glass of water... pathetic... When I asked why they parroted the obviously programmed response that management trained them to say "we're required to charge for that, it's our business model". On the way back I was again forced to check in at the ticket counter. I was asked if I wanted to check my bag or if I was going to carry on... I said carry on and the agent did not charge me. When I was boarding the plane the agent pulled me out of line and made me wait until an agent could come to the counter. They told me that the fact that the ticket counter agent didn't charge me was them not doing their job but that they were going to charge me $60 for the bag despite the fact that they "normal" fee is $45. I asked why I was being penalized because the agent didn't do their job????? Their response was "that's our business model". So let me get this straight, the model is mislead me into buying your ticket with what looks like a cheaper price, then don't let me e-check so that the ticket counter can "forget" to charge me the bag fee so that you can charge me more when I have no choice at the boarding gate..... then when I'm good and mad and trapped on your crappy jump seat (that doesn't recline) you charge me for water... You're airlines scumbag tricks and hidden fees are insulting and I hope people see this before they get suckered into buying from you.... You suck suck suck... and I'll NEVER use you again."
Pros: "First time flying with Frontier. No complaints other than having to pay for my carry on luggage. But when I only spent $80 (taxes and fees included) to fly from Dallas to Denver, I'm still happy."

Cons: "What didn't I like? Frontier has gone to teenie- tinie seats and even teenie-tinier trays. Add that to the fact that I had to pay $35 each way for my carry-on, and pay additional to select a seat. Foolish question."

Cons: "Frontier nickel and dimes their customers for every thing that they can - seat reservationsof any class, water, carry on bags (!), pillows or blankets. This would be somewhat understandable if the airfare itself was truly a bargain -- it's not. I'd like to suggest some other thin a they could be charging for to detract even further from the already poor customer experience: coin op window shades, pay toilets, oxygen!, utilizing the call button. At this point, no amount of nickel and diming would surprise me at all."
