The whole Delta team was very understanding and considerate and it made the process much less stressful."

When asking her why she didn't provide us a snack she said that this is a plane and when the captain says we have to land that she doesn't have to pass out snacks. The interesting thing is that all the other passengers around us receive snacks and bottled water except us. When we were leaving the plane after it landed my mom had to stay behind while I went to the front of the plane a good wheelchair assistance. The same stewardess said why did your son leave you and my mother had to correct her and say that he went to the front to get wheelchair assistance. The lady was very rude and didn't know proper manners."

Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

Also the rows were so tight, and seatbacks were so close together, that the reclining seat in front of me was 6 inches from my face."

Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."

Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. Still, no one thought it was necessary to explain what part of the process or what exactly is going on. The man that diverted us, I'll bet, does not have reasons or any idea why he diverted us. I hate to think that he did it because we were Black Americans."

Cons: "My tickets ultimately were booked through Kayak/webjet. I will never book through webjet again. You can't directly speak with an agent. They never sent me my e-tickets. I couldn't download my tickets prior to arriving at the airport. It was super confusing because I couldn't figure out whether I was flying on British Airways or American Airlines. I didn't know what terminal to go to. I finally checked in with American even after they told me to go to British Airways. Next, American said that my booking was messed up such that they couldn't check my bag through. So at Chicago I had to exit the Secure area, pick up my bag from baggage check, check it back in and go back through security. I still didn't have my ticket for the chicago-barcelona leg of the trip. At American, they told be I had to exit the airport again to go to British Airways for the Chicago- Barcelona leg of the trip. Luckily, i asked another agent and she confirmed my flight was though American. It was the most confusing flight experience, I have ever had."

Cons: "The weather was bad in Dallas preventing our landing. Our plane had to be diverted to be refueled which caused us to miss our connecting flight. There was no one at the counter to help us, but one of the crew told us to call the 800 number which told us our connecting flight was in the air. When we finally found someone to help us, they rescheduled us for the next flight out 11 hours later. When we asked about accommodations, we were told there would be none since it was weather related. Then we were told we could "look for a cot", but she didn't know where any cots were."

When I tried to reserve a special meal, each party (American, Iberia & airfare.com) said they could not do it, that the other party had to do it. So, in other words, no company took responsibility for my customer satisfaction. So I am ultimately blaming American Airlines accountable since they, not Iberia or airfare.com, contracted with the food service provider at the airport."

The arline knew we had connecting flights and could've alerted the other flight that we were there and to wait on us. The connecting flight was scheduled to leave at 9:50. I arrived at the gate at 9:49 only to find that the flight had not only boarded but had already left. The reps at the counter showed no level of empathy and acted put out when asked to provide transportation to the reassigned gate. Lastly, the flight could've offered something more than a $10 food voucher, especially since the majority of the food in the airport is greater than $10."

Give people rude, freeze saet so cant recline or remove tray tables so we dont hurt ourselves due to rude people."

Pros: "The experience was as good as it could ever be for a 'plane'-jane flight, the crew was really nice! They handled an annoying baby situation really professionally and smiled a lot. Thank you for the in-flight season of Workaholics and House Hunters! I thought that was a cool feature and watched quite a bit to pass the time."
Cons: "But seriously my back is going to be damaged forever from the uncomfortable seating. Even just ones with a decent footrest for someone too short to reach the ground. Thanks from the little people~"

Cons: "Only one person to help assist my husband who is a paraplegic from the chest down I had to help assist him in his seat before we was dropped. We had a delayed take off and was promised free direct tv and was never granted that access the whole flight. The crew started their safety presentation while the video presentation kept tryin to start and stop very unprofessional. The garbage Cart never made it down the aisle I threw our garbage in the bathroom."

Pros: "The Inited Club"
Cons: "Flight never took off due to engine problems, That is understandable. What was not fun was the "every man for himself" trying to get to an agent to get alternate flights out. If you were sitting at the back the of the plane you obviously we're at the back of a long line and had no good options by the time you got to someone"

Cons: "Flight was delayed not enough information. Missed connection."

Cons: "We must have had the oldest plane in the fleet. Small screen entertainment with cycling channel movies, not individual choice ... And my screen did not even work. Uncomfortable seating. Poor meal choice. Service was average, some of the staff seemed to be doing the best they could with what they were given. Some didn't seem to try at all. Pros: "Amazing flight to Dulles international Airport. The United representative came up and saw that I was traveling alone and upgraded me to first class. It was the first time I have ever flown first-class. I was excited I didn't sleep at all so I can take advantage of all the programming that was on TV. I'm so very appreciative of the flight because I could enjoy stretching my legs out and enjoying a comfortable seat. The very attentive crew allowed me opportunity to quench my thirst with countless glasses of water and to watch and keep up with my sports programming throughout the entire flight. Now it will be extremely hard to ever fly coach again. I have flown United the last couple of summers and I have been nothing but thrilled with their service and their staff. Moving forward United would be the only airline that I would care to fly. Thank you for everything and thank you for my safe travels!"

Cons: "Seats were uncomfortable, very firm, back of seat was like leaning against a piece of wood. OK for this short flight, longer flight would have been extremely uncomfortable."
