Boarding was by far the worst I've see in the 30 years I'm flying, no order, you could barely understand the person making the announcements. The entertainment system was outdated (screen size and resolution) as well as the controls were extremely hard to use. The seats were hard to use and lean back. A lot of force was required to even make them move 1 in. The AC system was NOT working. It felt like we were inside an oven. I've repeatedly asked the crew to fix the AC along with other passengers, and their response was we are going to look into it. It took over 2 hours for the plane to start cooling down. By that time I was sweating profusely and had a headache. Despite the fact that we made our reservations 3 months before the flight, we did not have a seat assigned and we had to wait, in line, for over 20 minutes to talk to a customer rep in order to figure out what's the issue with our seat assignment. To top all that my wife was pregnant and there were no places for her to seat while we waited for a resolution to this matter."

And our party of three was scattered around the plane, other families sitting nearby too. A little bit greedy company selling seat selection option when they could arrangeit nicely, but just don’t do it in order to get few people to pay for otherwise normal thing."

Should not be my fault as when booking it indicated all four of my flights were with BA. Once booked it indicated the return flights were code share with AA. American should have allowed me on the earlier flight. That would have opened a seat on the scheduled flight which had people waiting on standby."

Cons: "i booked the flight in january and keyed in my passport expiration date several times online in the next several months...at the airport, i handed the air canada agent in miami my passport and she booked me and a checked bag through toronto to copenhagen...i went to board my connecting flight in toronto and was told my passport, which expires at the end of august, was no good as i needed to have 3 month left...so they refused to let me board and told me to go see customer service...so i go stand in line for several hours (was only one agent for the first 45 minutes and 10 people in front of me)...one woman going down the line to see what each person's issue was told me that it was my problem, not AC's...and that "we are only responsible for making sure your passport is valid for getting into canada"...i was on my own to find a hotel and a new flight...fortunately a supervisor saw me standing in a daze several minutes later and said that it was AC's mistake for not catching it in miami...so she booked me into a hotel, gave me the address to the US consulate and instructions on how to get an emergency passport...she said that it would be no problem as "this happens all the time"and went ahead and booked me on the next day's flight...so i was able to spend the next day getting the new passport and getting back to the airport to fly out that night, but i lost a day in copenhagen with my family...it seems to me that when flights are booked and passport info, including expiration date, are given, a simple cross check of dates would be easy, and, imho, incumbent upon the carrier taking you there, especially when "it happens all the time"...this was not done on 4 occasions between booking and my trip...there were other issues too which is why i will never fly air canada again and i will never travel though toronto...the return trip through that airport was a nightmare for many passengers."

Cons: "From Toronto to London the price they charge is about the same as I pay from Toronto to Dubai using emirate or ettihad which is twice the distance. Toronto to London is a busy route so why charge such a high fare? Food. Be prepared for food that comes straight out of a cafeteria's frozen items. Entertainment. Slightly better than Turkish airline's which isn't an achievement by any means. Old aircrafts which don't have air vents. They really don't offer anything to you except charge you a lot for the busiest routes in the world. Try other airlines."
Pros: "We were delayed a little over an hour (on the field) before take-off because of information from Toronto that fog was delaying the landing time of the planes. The crew handled this excellently by making sure that we were made comfortable and the pilot gave us several updates as he got the information about take-off for Toronto. On the flight to New York on September 28th, I experienced my first landing where not even a tiny bump was felt when the plane touched the ground."

Air Canada needs to revisit the timetables from Toronto, all the transatlantic flights leave after 16:00, that creates long queues in the airport security and huge delays in cases like mine. I arrived 20 hours after my original flight because of this schedule. Additionally, they did not offer us any food, while the whole process took more than 10 hours. We arrived in Toronto at midnight local, when everything had already closed for the day."

Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."

After 2 weeks abroad I was dreading spending 8 hours on a flight home but as soon as we boarded I knew we had a great crew which we all know can make or break a flight. Once beverage service started they gave us both a huge glass of ice and can of soda which we were very grateful for after a long night and early morning. The flight attendants stop by frequently to see if we needed anything, I would definitely fly Air Canada again."
Cons: "Cabin space was small and uncomfortable. The individuals in front and behind us were very inconsiderate which of course Air Canada can't control. Food was hot but not necessarily tasty."
Pros: "Everything at the airport and while flying went great!"
Cons: "When my flight got cancelled, the staff on the phone was not helpful. Also the email notification on the cancelled flight was poorly explained. I wish the Air Canada explained the situation more fully in the email. If they had, I wouldn't have worried as much as I did about my international traveling."

Pros: "The gate lady was rude when I asked to preboard. I'm uncomfortably pregnant and traveling alone and it is hard to lift my bag into the upper compartment when they fill up so fast. She was short with me and told me to next time wait for my zone as I didn't yet have a child traveling with me. Typical Air Canada. The rest of the flight was great however"

Cons: "The United Airlines reps could have shown some empathy to the passengers who were delayed. The arline knew we had connecting flights and could've alerted the other flight that we were there and to wait on us. The connecting flight was scheduled to leave at 9:50. I arrived at the gate at 9:49 only to find that the flight had not only boarded but had already left. The reps at the counter showed no level of empathy and acted put out when asked to provide transportation to the reassigned gate. Lastly, the flight could've offered something more than a $10 food voucher, especially since the majority of the food in the airport is greater than $10."

The inconsiderate bumpkins in front of us put seat back and then leaned forward the whole flight. we could not even put our tray table all the way down. Coke spilled all over us in turbulence as liose tabke bounced significantly more than if set in place. Give people rude, freeze saet so cant recline or remove tray tables so we dont hurt ourselves due to rude people."
Cons: "Our flight to Munich arrived late. And our connecting flight to Milan was originally scheduled to leave just 50 minutes after our arrival in Munich. We did not make our flight to Milan and have lost a half day of time at our destination, as well as more than $100 in non-refundable Italian train tickets. Even if our plane had arrived to Munich on time it would have been nearly impossible to make our connecting website. Flight pairings with this short of a layover should not be suggested at this airport when travelers are required to go through passport control."

My husband has work at 5:30 in the morning as well as my brother who was supposed to pick us up and they are in the navy so being late isn't an option. My brother could no longer pick us up due to the fact that we did t get our luggage until 1 in the morning and he has work in a few hours so we had to wait for a taxi and pay a buttload to get home in Virginia Beach. NOT PLEASED!!"

We spent $69 and $77 to get seats together and the seat backs didn't work, no TV screens, and my expensive purse was soaking wet when I retrieved it from under the seat. So gross. And of course the food was gross...but that's to be expected, I guess."
Cons: "I really didn't like the way the company managed the entertainment deal. A 4 hour flite sould have free entertainment. The crew was tired. In the past i liked using united, but now I hope not using this company again."

Cons: "There was a lack of information the whole trip. We couldn't hear the announcements of the crew or pilot so we didn't know what was going on. When. The landing gear malfunctioned it took a very long time to hear what was going on. Then, upon deplaning, there was only one single gate agent waiting to help the flight. Very poor service!"

Cons: "Mechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight gate to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I ran 30 gates and the door just closed and missed my flight. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and went home......"

Pros: "I had a terrible time flying from IAH to Pensacola with United. I was flying on Christmas Day and there were not enough employees from United to help the customers. One of United employees completely disregarded me when I needed help, and I ended up missing my flight."
