Straightened out in the airport, but required waiting in a long line where late arrivals for flights an bhour before ours were given priority. Frustrating not to have a seat assignment until boarding had already begin (would have gone SWA if we wanted that mess)."

The crew were friendly and helpful. I got a cold cup of coffee when it should have been hot, and they corrected it immediately."

I paid $11 for a tiny sandwich (it fit in the palm of my already small hands). I will definitely get good at the airport next time. It may be just as expensive, but at least it will be filling."

Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

Overall, I was very happy that they were very willing to help make my flight as enjoyable as possible."

We were told that in Europe passports cannot expire within 3 months of your departure. However, Delta never let us know about this rule until we literally were boarding the plane. How they could not make us aware of this until we were boarding the airplane is unbelievable and unacceptable. This has ruined our vacation which has been in planning for the last six months."

So the e-mail service provider didn't allow me to log in. I suffered from proving that I received eTA. I had to spend much time on collecting and showing all the itineraries related to Vancouver. So I could never visit the VIP Lounge for Business Class passengers because of insufficient time.I had to go to the gate directly to avoid my flight. It was very hard time."

And Aeromexico seem to add to the chaos."

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to paperwork and some people were racing to their connecting flights. Lots of turbulence. The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"

Cons: "The crew had a light task with the fewer passengers on board and they made the best of it... not neglecting the passengers, but definitely looking out for themselves and that was a bit obvious by creating small cabins for them to stay in using the curtains near the door exits and encouraging people to move to empty rows to clear the back rows for them to sleep on. Not bad, but just a bit obvious."

I had to go from gate E 6 to gate B14 in a flash at the age of 66 I barely made it out of breath and they were about to close the doors! I was not a happy camper when I was told in the flight 5406 that I had plenty of time!!! not to worry!!!"

They forgot to bring the immigration forms onboard, only had the customs. They didn't give us pens/pencils to fill out the customs form. This made offboarding confusing and messy. What entertainment? No screens."

The screen said carousel 12 and confirmed it with local reps and then after waiting for a while some passenger says "if you're coming from Charlotte the bags are at 11, that's where I found mine". The miracle of flight is a miracle. I rarely complain but more often than not when flying domestically I realize how stretched the airlines are."

Thank goodness my layover was originally 3.5 hrs, so that extra time in the air cut into that wait time at the airport, but at least waiting at the airport would allow me to move around and stretch my legs, and not be stuck in THE tiniest plane seat I've ever experienced."

The seats were SO incredibly tiny, and there is very little room in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of you. You can't fit a water bottle, and barely my tiny purse or e-reader device. At Newark airport the next two flights were overbooked so United put me up in a hotell The next morning the first two flights were overbooked but they put me on the third flight. That was supposed to come into LAX a half hour early but a passenger became very ill so they landed in Des Moines for the medical emergency. I realize that wasn't United's fault, but I don't think it should have taken so long to take off, and we were well over an hour late upon arrival."

Cons: "The crew was the worst ever!!! Very rude ladies who spent more time on their phones then serving the customers. They sucked"

Cons: "Insufficient and/or incomplete communication from pilot as to the nature of the delay (unhooked cable), how it was being addressed (the ONLY person that could hook the cable was still at home; then when he did arrive, he was assigned to fix another airplane before ours), and what we, as passengers, could do to help ourselves (United staff was reviewing connections, but then no one ever came back to relay information about that). We missed our connecting flight (we finally departed 15 minutes before our connecting flight left Denver); I had to call customer service while still sitting on the plane, and we were placed on a connecting flight out of Denver that left 4 hours AFTER we should have landed at our final destination. What should have been 9 hours of total travel time (including driving to and from airport, security checks, customs, etc.) turned into 20 hours, resulting in a lost 1st day of our trip."

Cons: "Plane was delayed because the AC was not working right. It never really cooled down much during the flight. They need to get their act together"

Cons: "The united staff kept skipping the lines to drop off the bags. They didn't care when multiple people in line said they were skipping people. After paying once for my checked bag they tried to make me pay again. Asked to see in writing what they were trying to explain and the manager couldn't do it. They never gave me my ticket stub for my checked bag. So if it hadn't arrived I wouldn't have had anyway to find it. Very disappointing staff in SFO. Seemed aa if no one at SFO was happy to be working there or even worse didnt know what to do most of the time. VERY different than the DEN united experience."

Pros: "I am slow walking due to health issues. Coming from Kansas City to Chicago was a problem. My daughter who was with me is physically handicapped. There was no transportation to assist us to get from one terminal to another one when we arrived. Thank goodness we had a two and one-half hour overlay. Going home was a different story. Two wonderful gentleman met us as we disembarked and speedily got us to our flight. We only had 30 minutes and they made sure we were there. Issac and the other man are to be commended!"

Cons: "I cancelled my flight within 24hrs and received no refund because I booked through priceline. However, there was no restriction or clause listed on the ticket stating that I had to cancel through priceline also. It really should not matter who I cancelled through, if I canceled within 24hrs the refund should be given. Also, the debits from my account said United as well as priceline taking me to United's web page to make the purchase. So of course one would think cancelling through United's site is appropriate. I'm very disappointed in United and will consider all other options (Airlines) before booking with them again. PS - United customer gave me the run around for 3 days knowing that it was their policy and they were the company who's keeping my money. Absolutely ridiculous."

Pros: "First of all, I was excited to get to Puerto Vallarta! Unfortunately, we had a delay due to a child who got sick as the plane was backing from the gate. The crew was fantastic and had paramedics load the plane to check on toddler. The family deboarded and United crew cleaned the throw up. The pilots kept the passengers informed and we proceeded with the flight. The flight attendants were fantastic, particularly the brunette attendant who remembered me from a previous flight. Best flight attendant ever!! Thank you United!!!"

Pros: "In these past six months my family and I have been back and forth on the same route and in four occations this flight as been delayed. My 70 year old aunt lost her other flight in Houston and had to wait 12 more hours overnight wihtout food because all the restaurants were already closed. In our case were a party of five and with 1hr 40min connection. We had to run to the other side of the airport to the international gates not knowing if we lost the flight because when we arrived to Houston the second flight was already boarding. Luckly the flight attendants let us out first before the other passengers and barely made it."

Pros: "From Salt Lake to Houston, there was a really rude flight attendant, a man. Other than that, my entire flight experience was good. They didn't have Dr. Pepper."

Pros: "I arrived at the aurport 1 hr 20 mins before flight - plenty if time to check in and make it to gate at a small airport ad Newark is. Wanted to check in online - the United System did not allow me to. Had to wait in line - long line due to holidays. I raised my hand and asked for assistance given the impending 1 hr cut off time for check in. Was told I should go to the special assustance line. Well, guess what - that line which was meant to be express service for fliers with special situations was moving with the speed of a tortoise - slower than the general line. Only 2 flight assistants were servicing, both incredibly slow. When asked politely that I need special assistance as I was approaching the 1 hr cut iff fir checkin, the United lady yelled at me instead of speeding up her slow motion. Bottom line, I missed my flight on a tiny airport dedpite arriving 1 hr 20 mins before flight. Had to wait 14 hrs overnight at the airport to catch the next flight because the United Airlines personnel are lazy, slow, inefficient, rude and no customer oriented. Terrible service."

Cons: "20 minutes prior to boarding, they announced there was no crew and the flight was cancelled. Passengers were instructed to line up for rebooking. For the first hour, there was only one person for the 100+ passengers. After an hour, a second employee showed up and asked those who wanted a refund to go to another line (those wanting to rebook should stay in line). Three and a half hours later, when we reached the front of the line (despite only being 1/3 of the line) we were told those who were sent to the refund line had taken the remaining tickets for different flights out that night and/or the next morning. We were offered a flight the following day on a different airline at a different airport. Not sure what happened to the remaining 50 or so passengers, but they probably got a worse deal."

Pros: "That I got my money back when they canceled my flights 4 hours before I was supposed leave."
Cons: "Canceled our original flight without telling us. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get another one back home (most inconvenient flight ever). Woke up the day of to head home and Spirit had canceled AGAIN. The baggages fees are astronomical to top it all off. So glad Southwest was able to accommodate us and get us home at a normal time and we never had to fly with such an awful airline."

Also, when I signed in to the Spirit website, and put in my info - somehow a DIFFERENT FIRST AND LAST NAME got associated with my contact info. Terrible software and potentially a really disruptive situation - when flying, identity information is critical. Awful."

If they could have I am sure they would have charged me 25 dollars for a seat-belt and charged me 10 dollars for using the airplanes bathroom. They are the epitome of money grubbing cheapskates. this is not to mention the seats being at least 4 inches closer together than any other plane I have ever been on. crammed in their like sardines. Spirit airlines is a complete pile of $hit and I will never be flying with them again."

Although touted as a budget airline, Spirit has so many hidden charges that the costs come out the came."

But when the lazy desk attendant, who was doing nothing but holding a wall up, says "I can't believe people are shocked when you tell them that, it's like come on you know." I'm fine with you saying that when I'm gone, but when people are standing right there and can hear you while you are acting like they aren't even standing there....that is when you have a customer service issue. Although I wanted to lash into him, I felt like it wasn't worth it and much below my level, and I apologize for not gathering that person's name so you may address this properly. Understandable that there are delays, but there shouldn't be a delay EVERY time that a person fly's on a certain airline. I'll try to print tickets online and it says error, but then need to have a discussion about why I am not paying $10."
