We were there an hour and a half early with no luggage to check and we missed our flight by minutes. We actually saw our plane with the doors closed. Frustrating!"

Cons: "The check in process was cumbersome with being able to partially get checked in at a computer kiosk and then having to wait in line to see an agent while other people are jumping the queue and not having to wait... then having stood in line for 10 minutes an agent tells you that you could have been in the "fast" lane... but there is no or little signage indicating which line you should be in.... that's frustrating. Don't expect your customers to be unconsciously aware of all of your convoluted business practices... put some signs out... we at least like a hint. Other than that, for air travel it was a very good experience."

Cons: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."

Pros: "Flight was late leaving JFK. I paid extra for Comfort Plus and had the most uncomfortable seat ever. My back ached during and after the flight. Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."

Cons: "LEX to ATL to GRU did NOT happen because the LEX flights were delayed to the point of missing the ATL connection. While Delta re-booked me on United, my flight arrived 3 hours later than scheduled (so transportation plans had to change), my bag did not successfully move from the Delta flight to the United flight (and was thus delayed in getting to GRU) AND once the bag was received, 4 shirts had been stolen. While a delay/theft claim has been filed with United, this could all have been avoided if the Delta flights had been on time."

Pros: "This was the worst and most stressful trip of my life. Heard of Murphy's law? Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. And did go wrong again. And again. It wasn't my fault or the people's fault, but an unfortunate chain of circumstances. And United personnel helped me deal with so many challenges and went above and beyond their duty. On the trip to Calgary my flights were delayed, I was denied boarding or the flight was canceled. It took me 3 days to get to my destination and this happened after I arrived 4 hours in advance for every flight, but the first one. I did everything I could in my power, but my best was not good enough. And so when my rental car broke down two hours before my departure, and I failed to start it, I took a cab to YYC and hoped for the best. And United didn't disappoint. They listened to me, respected me and tried to help me as much as they could. My leg cramped and I was not able to cross the hallway to the flight, just as the boarding was starting. The board agents called the wheelchair, walked over to me and tried to calm me down, just as they were wrapping up boarding. They then checked my luggage and held me by the hand all the way to the airplane,"
Cons: "Once again, the agents did the best they could given a set of highly unusual circumstances. Yet the flight was one hour late for a very predictable reason. In the winter it snows in Calgary. You have to de-ice the plane. This takes time. Yet, the airline treated snow as emergency and didn't allow time for that. One hour delay stressed a lot of people out and canceled their plans. Do allow for more time for travel in the winter. It is cost effective and leaves customers happier."

Pros: "Nothing about 9 HOURS in an Airport is great! I walked from where I landed coming from Calgary, to terminal 2 Gate F 17 because that was where the flight to Lexington was to leave from. Then I got notice it was leaving from terminal 1 Gate B 24 so (I'm sure I walked a mile there) to get there. Waited for a number of hours checked my phone and found the departure was back again at terminal 1 Gate F 17!?!?! So I walked another mile back to where I started. At no point was I offered a drink or meal voucher for the 9 hour delay/inconvenience in my flight to Lexington ky. Suffice to say that I will NEVER go on any flight if I have to go back through this airport. I also have horrible knees, which all the walking did not help."
Cons: "I would like to say that as a person with a disability, there is not any support for help getting around. They have plenty of for lack of a better term "golf carts"; but no one utilizing them. Not that I am a world traveler; but this airport could take more than a page from Calgary international in terms of support to those with disabilities. I will NEVER and I do mean NEVER go through something like this again. I expected to be home in Lexington at 5:00pm and did NOT arrive until midnight.??!! This is in my opinion quite unacceptable! Cons: "The fact that my wife and I were not able to check in at kiosk is a technology problem, and then we waited in line forever as United tried to deal with other large group of problem customers. Because if their bad service we missed cutoff, even though I had already checked In and we had no checked bags. We We were forced to pay for hotel our of our pocket, get another rental car, and change itinerary to have to go through Denver to get back to Chicago and arrive a full day later, causing havoc with work schedule and coverage for kids. Thumbs down United! I used to be 1K with you, this Is why I don't fly this airline often."

We went through customs on the second leg of the flight with barely enough time to get through customs and then back through security at the Calgary airport. Our flight had been unilaterally changed by the airline due to too tight a connection but the new flight (much less convenient, had to get up at 3:00 am) was as bad or worse. We would have missed our connecting flight if it had not been delayed due to weather at our destination."
