Then, when they started to take fees you had to come back and pay. It wasn't done right then. The ground staff was minimally helpful. Flight amenities or not, pay for headset and having more than 2 TV shows and 2 movies cost you an up charge even on an overseas flight. One choice for dinner.- pasta so it was vegetarian. Breakfast was a sad roll, one small piece of cheese and ham, and fruit that was that questionable. Overnight flight, pillow no blanket in Economy. Seats hard and leg room was tight. Their Economy plus and business looked a much better way to go."

I know this happens, but when one has a connecting flight to make, it is disconcerting that no one from Alaska addresses that problem. We found out after the fact there were many other flights to Seattle that we could have transferred too and arrived at our final destination somewhat on time..... not at for AM the next morning, 12 hours late!"

I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

Cons: "The first class accommodation isn't as good as advertised. The seat is supposed to completely recline allowing you to sleep. Unfortunately if you're 6 foot or taller there isn't enough room. Other airlines like Emirates gives you more room in their business class so it's disappointing to see United 1st class is so cramped. The screens for the onboard entertainment system in first class are lower quality then those used in coach."

Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

The tv screens were very small and so glitchy I stopped watching my movie halfway through. The connector flight from philly to NYC was much more comfortable and had beautiful screens."

A few hours later i was hungry and tried to buy some food but the cabin crew just gave my another breakfast item. The flight arrived on time, and the luggage was delivered a few minutes after I arrived at the baggage area."

The crew gave no explanation for the switch in aircraft, and no apology either."

Also, it was not clear that the international flight flew from the AA terminal and not from the International terminal where Iberia flies from...I had to walk to the AA terminal with all my bags which was stressful since I was dropped off at the international terminal which made sense as it was an international flight and the ticket did not say it was flying from the AA terminal only that it was operated by AA.."

Pros: "It was a very peaceful flight. The crew was extremely professional, and courteous, one of the members went out of her way, and frankly it was the kindest flight attendant has been to me in a while."

Cons: "The lack of space on such a long flight was painful, and there wasn't much opportunity to stretch my legs. I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."
Pros: "The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."
Cons: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

Cons: "What poor services all round. The check in staff where on the phone or talk to themselves. No one even spoke to me at checkin. Then the boarding staff were so rude, they act like they own the plane and they are god. They would not answer anyone questions and just pointed at the screen. The airplane staff hello at least. But the food very so bad, even easyjet has better food. Also their understanding for the english was so poor but the air stewardess told me " we speak American" !!!!"

Cons: "The flight from LAX to HKG was diverted to Haneda, Tokyo. The septic tank was not properly emptied in LAX. Flight in Hong Kong was delayed by about 2 hours due to this diversion. I agree with the call from the Captain. It's a pity that the poor quality of service team in LAX (probably 1-2 individuals) caused tremendous inconvenience to passengers and crew."

Cons: "Late announcement of flight delay. Cost me 4 extra hours at LAX, doing nothing. Then, flight delayed again for 30 minutes prior to boarding...and yet AGAIN while on the plane...because of a water shortage. What had the crew been doing in between flights?? Lastly, these delays caused the plane to arrive in Tokyo at 12:30AM (originally it was 10:30PM). All transportations options were closed. I had to take a $90 USD taxi fare into the city. JAL or AA should have given travel vouchers to everyone who needed them. BAD SERVICE, BAD COMMUNICATIONS, BAD RATING."

Cons: "This flight was delayed by several hours, so I was concerned that I might miss my connecting flight in Denver. I could have flown through any other city en route to Raleigh, so it was frustrating that Frontier would not do anything for me until I got to Denver, because the risk was extremely high that I would miss the last flight out of Denver. Fortunately, Frontier decided to hold the connecting flight so that people on this flight could make their connection. HOWEVER, I landed a few hours later in CHARLOTTE, NC. Apparently Frontier had not checked my ticket when I boarded the wrong plane. My ticket clearly indicated that I was supposed to be on the flight to Raleigh. From Charlotte, there was an American Airlines flight that I could have transferred to--something that every other airline I've flown has done under these circumstances. But Frontier told me they don't put passengers on other airlines' flights, so I had to wait another couple of hours to catch Frontier's next flight to Raleigh. Throughout the whole process, it was very frustrating because for hours while I waited at LAX, I couldn't find a single Frontier employee. I even had to wait at ticketing when I arrived at the airport, not because of a line but because there was no one from Frontier at the counter. All of this suggests to me that Frontier just doesn't care. They don't care enough to be at the airport in case passengers have problems like this. They don't care enough to avoid missed connections by putting people on different flights. They don't care enough to make sure passengers are getting on the correct flights."

Cons: "Pretty much everything else. I checked in online - where they clearly state that there will be a bag drop for prepaid checked luggage. There was not. Instead there were three people behind the counter (only two were actually taking anyone from the long line) - who seemed completely confused. They at least knew that the gate had changed, but they didn't know where it had been changed to. I found it. It then proceeded to change 3 more times. The final change was not announced, we all just followed another passenger who had seen the change listed on the airport departure screen. The final gate was "39" a door in a hallway that opened up onto a tarmac. We waited there about 30 minutes (after the scheduled boarding time) before the door opened. They had no scanner for passes, so the attendant had to write things down on paper when we showed him our passes!! The actual cabin is tight, but that's to be expected. What wasn't expected was the random turning off and on of overhead lights throughout the (red-eye) flight. It was like a torture technique. To round out this great experience, the flight attendant instructed us to de-board the plane in order. Row 1 (left side) then row 1 (right), etc. This clearly pissed off many passengers who had no carry-on luggage and could have just walked off while those with stuff in overheads waited. When I finally got to exit the plane, I heard a guy somewhere behind me say "f-you" to the crew as they gave us the traditional "have a good day". We all felt the same, just didn't say so."

They replaced their humane, padded chairs with these ultra slim hard plastic ones that don't recline so you're stuck sitting at a 90 degree angle with basically no padding so they can fit more seats on the plane with tiny tray tables. I'd like to see the CEO spend a couple of hours in one these. I'll never fly Frontier again because they've completely lost touch with the concept of treating customers with dignity."

I paid but I will dispute the charge and get it back based on the aiirlines' inconsistent practice regarding that. The policy is not enforced on everyone."

Overall they were still cheaper than the other flights available, but it is false advertising to initially pay such low fares but then upon check in have to fork over another $60+ for bags and seats. Felt sort of scammed"

Pros: "The flight was on time and boarding went smoothly. Cheap airfare, but additional fees for close to everything. Thankfully personal items are free to bring on the plane. Carry-on items are $40 if you check-in online before you get to the airport. To my understanding, this fee is raised when you pay in person. There is no first-class section, but for $50, you can get additional leg room in the first rows of the plane. Water is offered during the flight, but no other beverages are complimentary. If you are looking for an affordable way to travel and can pack light, this is pretty ideal."
Cons: "I flew from 1am-6am, so my experience might have been more uncomfortable than flights at other times of day. Seats do not recline, which made sleeping kind of difficult. I folded down the mini tray table and used it as a platform for my coat and other pillowy items to rest my head- this was the most comfortable position to sleep in, in my opinion. My feelings about the crew members are kind of neutral. Besides offering water, I didn't see much of them. Flying's cool and a great privilege so writing a review about experiencing mild discomfort feels silly to me. The experience was fine overall."
