Southwest crews are sooo much more fun, friendly and kind than all other airlines. Pay attention to the crew members and what they are saying and doing....they are a hoot and make flying an experience to remember.
Liked: the crew was friendly What could be better? WiFi service, food & beverage options, seats are not very comfortable
Our gate number was changed at the airport but there were no alerts about it. Thankfully, we happened to check the departure/arrival board.
It seems as though the staff woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning when checking in bags, and boarding at the gate. They were rude and pacifically Melissa was aggressive in the manner that she took with me when telling me about my carry-on luggage. She told me that a pet was considered a carry-on and not a personal item when the tag directly in my bag contradicted that. Overall it ruined my experience for that particular flight but luckily another staff, GT made it that much better! He was great kind and helpful in getting me to my seat with my bag and pet
The Southwest flight was late once again.
In flight entertainment via wifi on phone or tablet is great; however, the snack options could be better.
Pros: "I did not like one thing about this flight"
Cons: "The flight was canceled just minutes before we all should have been boarding. due to "mechanical issues". 100s of passengers then lined up to get reissued tickets o to other flight out. after being in line for 45 minute's we were told the original flight was reinstated. We were then told we did nit need new boarding passes. After waiting to lineup to board, we were told we DID NEED NEW BOARDING PASSES!! Another lube, another wait, I was reissued new tickets... but my original. tickets were ripped before i could ask for them back because my baggage claim tickets were adhered onto the back of those tickets!! Flight was mediocre at best. I had to literally run like mad to get from Gate B to my connecting flight and they were calling my name over the loud speaker at the C gate . The last leg oc the trip was crowded and the air-conditioning worked most of the time but not all of the time, so there were some extremely hot parts to my 3+ hour flight. I am contacting Southwest to get reimbursed for this nightmare of an experience. and will not fly with this airline again, unless they step up and make upgraded modifications to their operational systems,"
Pros: "Well trained. Very pleasant and helpful"
Pros: "The crew was great and gave me a free Margarita because of past drink cancellations."
Cons: "Massaging seats."
Pros: "Flight was on time and great crew! No complaints here."
Cons: "No complaints whatsoever! It was an excellent flight!"
Cons: "All was very good."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly."
Pros: "Short flight on time"
Cons: "The gate person announced that A boarding pass should assemble 15 minutes before the passengers got off the arriving plane so we all stood far longer than necessary before the actual boarding started. Also now that you no longer offer peanuts, the dry tasteless pretzels are no good. I asked for almonds and the steward said only pretzels."
Pros: "The flight was almost on time."
Cons: "The crew was lazy. We did not get our drinks and there was no turbulence"
Cons: "The flight was great, but the tray table of the gentleman across the aisle fell off during the flight."
Pros: "Seat cushion for 3 hour flight is pretty small"
Cons: "Cushion could be enhanced on seat"
Pros: "The crew was very friendly."
Cons: "We were delayed about 45 minuets & barely made my connecting flight. Someone rifled through my checked bags. They tossed everything all over the place. I had the straps holding everything down in my bag and lots of fragile / liquid items. Bags were opened & not closed as well as removed from them."
Cons: "Flight delay of more than 90 mins"
Pros: "Easy checkin. On time"
Cons: "Connecting flight in Phoenix delayed 2 hours. No explanation because it arrived at the gate on time and passengers deplaned. We were eventually told to go to a different gate and wait for a different plane. We were on East Coast time and exhausted."
Cons: "Seats are very thin and not comfortable. Very few amenities, not even power plugs, and tv/movie system on personal devices didn’t work well (and this kind of entertainment necessitates charging!)."
Cons: "Better, healthier snack choices. Ritz crackers are loaded with salt and white flour."
Pros: "They were good and helpful"
Pros: "Great crew! As always with SWA!"
Cons: "Getting a middle seat shouldn't be so uncomfortable, especially since there are tall people who exist in this world"
Pros: "I had air sickness from a medication. The crew was constantly checking to see how I was! This airline is EXCELLENT!"
Cons: "Nothing that I saw. They give great service, great attitudes, very helpful!"
Cons: "Brand new plane, more legroom, empty seat next to me, on time, what could be better?"
Pros: "The crew was great."
Pros: "Leg room was better than other airlines."
Cons: "The flight was full and we had to put the bags where there was space. Prior to departing a flight attendant removed my wife’s carryon, checked it to our connecting flight, and didn’t tell us. We then had to leave the terminal, get the bag from baggage claim, and go through security, again."
Pros: "Smooth flight, and excellent service!"
Pros: "Despite the late boarding, we still got in early almost half an hour early! Crew was great as always. Attendants came through the cabin repeatedly to offer drinks and snacks on the almost 5 hour flight. Seems like they never sat down! Again on this flight I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the crew was when dealing with people who cannot follow the simplest of instructions. Flight is full, take any available seat - nope, people wander past available seats, then have to go back to front. Couples (ADULTS) sit in window and aisle seats and then have the nerve to look annoyed when they have to move to sit next to each other and give up a seat - if you want to sit in aisle & window, then someone has to sit between or you OR one of you needs to sit in the middle. It's not a hard concept."
Cons: "Boarding started so late - they had the 'A' group line up but then made everyone wait until 15 min after boarding was supposed to start. They probably should have waited to have people line up when the plane was really ready. Flight was bumpy (BWI to PHX), but that was no one fault."
Pros: "The flight was 4 hours but u could barely tell being loaded up on snacks and drinks. The bathroom was tolerable"
Pros: "Crew was great!"
Cons: "Boarding process at gate 11 was a joke- there were no boarding poles with the usual numbers....... took too long and started late."
Pros: "Availability of snacks/drinks, helpfulness of crew, and ease of travel."
Cons: "I PAID for WiFi (and I never do this), so I could watch things on my iPad and it didn’t work for the 5 hour flight. I could look up my email for part of the flight and that’s about it."
Cons: "Construction there makes things horrendous. If you rent a car is a pain, putting it mildly. You have to get your luggage, trec to the shuttle bus area. Wait there up to 20 minutes to be taken to the marine air terminal only to find out your journey isnt over. You then need to unload your bags, march through the terminal to the other side and get on the car company shuttle. Their drivers are courtious and attentive and take you through the construction to the agency. The manager apologized to me repeatedly and said not to take the experience negatively against them. They only can do the best they can by orders of the Port Authoritie's rules."
Pros: "This flight was delayed for me by 30min, there was a lot of turbulence and didn't serve anything for the flight. Other than that, I was flying with Southwest to different cities all week and everything went well."
Pros: "Friendly crew."
Cons: "Food and entertainment given 1 since no place for n/a. Comfort rated lower because passenger next to my husband was large and practically laying on him while he slept the whole way."
Pros: "Great business trip and traveled comfortable. Staff was really friendly"
Pros: "Southwest crew, service make for seamless travel"
Pros: "My flight with Southwest was fine and everyone was professional."
Cons: "The issue here is that I left from Albuquerque en-route to Seattle/Tacoma and connected through San Diego. We were directed to Gate 1, one of three gates that, though in the same terminal, required us to go out of the secured area and back through TSA security again. Our flight was already delayed a bit and the connection a tight one. This security point was swamped, I had to toss out my water that I'd purchased in ABQ to get back through security, and we nearly missed our flight. There was not even time to stop at the restroom and we certainly did not make our "A" boarding position. We had the last 2 seats on the flight. Ugh. Never again."
Pros: "Southwest is the best. Great attitude, Great Service. Even managed a free drink when the crew member refused my coupon - we'd left the gate about 5 minutes late. It's the little things."
Pros: "Easy to board; made up lost time"
Cons: "Didn't get any food or drink since they would stop and turn around right before they got to our row of seats. When we could get their attention they said they do not handle our row"
Pros: "On time! Flight was short with super smooth landing. All went well!"
Pros: "Legroom, cleanliness of plane"
Cons: "People in A Boarding saving seats. Normal disney parents allowing their children to kick your seat for 4 hours"
Pros: "On and the staff was friendly"
Cons: "The crew was rude to one of the other flyers they did not respect people"
Pros: "Seniors Fares"
Nice short flight. No problems!😀
Such a nice atmosphere with comfortable seats. When I have a choice it will be Alaska
Easy to check-in and smooth flight.
Flight was delayed 2 and a half hours because of fog. The captain let us know there would be a delay after the entire plane was boarded (there had been fog all morning, this was a known issue before boarding)
Flight delayed over 6 hours with multiple changes to flight status and times for eventual departure. At one point flight was cancelled so we booked a hotel only to have the flight rescheduled to after midnight so we had to scramble to cancel our hotel which might not be refunded. Worst experience with Alaska air to date.
Got me from A to B. I like Alaska Air, that’s why so fly them.
Pros: "The crew was good. The problem was our Qantas flight from Auckland New Zealand, to Sydney, Australia, to San Francisco, to Seattle didn't sync with Alaska Air. We arrived in San Francisco after a very long flight. We had gotten our boarding passes in Auckland. When we went to board in SF, there was a glitch and they wouldn't let us board. It took a long time to get that fixed. We missed our flight (with our luggage on it), and had to wait several more hours. Plus Alaska Air had cancelled a flight mid morning and the trickle down result was many people were stuck and waiting on flights. Then we had to wait for a crew to come, then they found something wrong with the plane so had to get in a new plane. It was a long and hard day for everyone."
Cons: "I don't know how you sync airline tickets but if they had synced as they were supposed to, none of this would have happened."
Pros: "Flight from New Orleans to Seattle was smooth and quiet."
Cons: "Since Alaska Air used an aircraft from Seattle to return to Seattle, mechanical issues created a seven-hour delay in departure. Alaska expected us to remain at the gate, even though they had no intention of replacing the aircraft that would take 5 hours to arrive ONCE it eventually left Seattle. Upon arrival in Seattle, we were told we could only continue to Anchorage by splitting up, each of us taking a different flight. I checked with gate agent because had received notification of ONE of my three bags being on the carousel at Seattle, rather than going to Anchorage. She assured me all three bags were going to Anchorage. Arriving there 19 hours after our appearance at New Orleans Airport, we found one of our bags had indeed been left in Seattle. 8 hours later, still no bag or call. Good thing there are a dozen Seattle to Anchorage flights per day."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant and very polite. I like that one carry on was included in my ticket. Enough leg room. Love the free in flight movies! Glad I didn’t have to purchase a beverage either."
Cons: "I will never understand the way boarding works. Did going from window groups, middle seat groups to aisle seat groups not work? I hate having to squeeze through and hope I don’t knock anyone in the face with my bag. I don’t like I can’t pick my seat and that my seatbelt is a little too tight. If I get a seat in the back I’m waiting for everyone else to get on and then for them to get off the plane. I guess I’ll have to pay the $75 fee for “first class” next time since that’s the only way to update my seat. And if I have a “saver rate” ticket - I should be able to still change my flight within 24 hours. I wanted to come back a day earlier and it was the same price! But I would’ve had to cancel and repurchase for an additional $200!!!"
Pros: "We left on-time, without delays."
Cons: "There was a loud child behind me, but that has nothing to do with the airline, unless they enforced a silent cabin more."
Pros: "Simple ways that make the atmosphere in the air a little more welcoming and friendlier."
Pros: "Good crew/ gate team"
Pros: "I was happy it was a nonstop flight on a somewhat new and very clean plane. Plenty of leg room, though the seat almost felt narrow and the person next to me was on me the entire trip. Seat comfort was good, I prefer firmer padding on a longer trip. Attendants were attentive and quick about helping passengers but felt like they didn’t want to be there. Boarding was also fast, though slightly confusing."
Cons: "I didn’t like that after I booked my ticket Alaska moved the time to much earlier in the day and I had to take off work. There’s no built in screen; tablets are available to rent, but for the price tickets are I shouldn’t have to rent something or use up my battery. Plus having to either hold my phone/tablet the whole flight or use what little space I have on my tray to prop it up isn’t enjoyable. Also the snacks were lacking, one bag of cheese crackers was my only option for a flight over 5 hours."
Pros: "I love the biscoff cookies. Smaller plane. I had legroom though!! Business as usual. Good flight decent take off and landing."
Cons: "You need a n/a choice. Bags were a little late. Seatac has a terrible congestion problem at curbside pickup Seat did not recline. Really full flight. Not Alaska’s fault that people get a little cranky."
Pros: "Fast flight. Pleasant crew."
Cons: "Sat on the runway for 30 or so minutes waiting to disembark. Wasn’t sure what was going on. A little explanation would have been pleasant."
Pros: "The crew was really nice and professional"
Cons: "We had to make an emergency medical landing which is fine it had to be done. But then we had to wait a while for catering to come and bring us food. Most of us had already gotten off the plane to use the restrooms and get food. Then because the caterers took to long they cancelled the food order and told us they were having fingers out food vouchers. It was annoying g cause we had already gone and gotten food and spent our own money. Now everyone booked it off the plan to get food and we now waited another hour for people to come back. So altogether the plane was delayed 4 hours they could have just given us the food on the plane for free."
Pros: "Overall, good flight."
Cons: "I pay for first class because I want a higher level of peace and quiet and a lower level of distractions. On two instances, first during the mid flight cockpit bathroom break, and second during the 30 min final descent, the crew engaged in conversations between themselves in such load and animated voices that it was impossible for passengers sitting in the first four - five rows to ignore them. During the cockpit break, the young handsome pilot flirted with the young beautiful flight attendant who had positioned herself to block access to the forward bathroom. They chatted for what seemed like 10 min, her standing and facing us, him standing directly behind her, also facing us. We felt like we were on a soap opera set. And during the final 30 descent into Seatte, when we from Florida were extremely tired, the two forward flight attendants talked with each other in such load voices that it was impossible to keep reading my book. Admittedly, they were just chatting, but doing so in such a load voice that we could not escape."
Pros: "The flight crew was incredibly sweet and helpful; one of them even gave me their personal TUMS when I said I didn't feel well."
Cons: "The flight boarded 30 minutes early; I arrived to my gate at the time of when my ticket said boarding started, but they were already calling final boarding call for my flight. I completely panicked. The plane was clean but the seats are very close together and there were no complimentary snacks- even though it was a 6 hour flight. On my flight back from Seattle on Delta, we got a complimentary meal AND a complimentary snack. I was expecting my Alaskan flight to be better based on everything I'd heard from friends, but my return Delta flight showed Alaska up; it was a spacier plane with way more food offered."
Pros: "Flew in premium economy - relatively comfortable. They had really good cheeseburgers for sale. The flight attendants were all professional. Had a special captain who came out of the cockpit to speak to the passengers over the intercomm. He was funny, personable and helped get the flight off on the right foot. I have about 350,000 miles with Alaska and about twice that number on other airlines. This was the first time I ever experienced such a personable interaction from a pilot. Flight attendants can be entertaining but pilots usually are too serious to make the passengers happy to be on board."
Cons: "They did not have Priority boarding for first class and MVP."
Pros: "I always enjoy flying with Alaska. The crews are generally nice and the leather seats are comfortable, even in cattle class. I like that they often give out the Biscoff biscuits, yum. I had lots of room on several of my flights, on one of them I had an entire row to myself, which was awesome."
Cons: "The fact that even on 5+ hour-long flights they still charge for the food is a little silly to me. But maybe that's how they all do these days. Still, it's unfortunate, or, it might have been nice to have more than one snack served up on such a long flight. The wifi is a little hard to maneuver, even with an instruction card. The Go-go inflight thing is cool, but they don't really advertise that you need to download the app while you're still on the ground...which they should advertise in their concourses or something."
Pros: "Flight was on time-ish, no trouble really. Call center folks were great."
Cons: "Our original flight was cancelled with no explanation. My girlfriend was notified of this and I was not. When I called to get my flight details I was informed that I was to fly out on a completely different day instead. After explaining that there was no chance of that happening, the call center rep was happy to help. The flight was now an American Airlines flight booked through Alaska. About 3 days before our flight we both received calls from American saying that they did not have our passenger information. Apparently Alaska just didn't transfer that over. We also now had two confirmation codes as the returning and connecting flights were still with Alaska. Once we got to the airport on the day of I was able to print my American Airlines boarding pass, however I could not print my Alaska boarding pass on neither American nor Alaska's kiosks. It was a redeye flight as well so there was no staff at the check in counters yet. We ultimately did get to our destination, but it was such a completely unnecessary headache to get there."
Pros: "The flight was fine and the crew was great and all was well until we tried to land in Seattle and missed the attempt due to fog and next thing we knew we were headed to Spokane!"
Cons: "We were supposed to get home on Dec. 30th but were diverted to Spokane for the night and arrived on Dec. 31."
Pros: "Ease of access Friendly flight attendants"
Pros: "Amenities and service was great"
Pros: "Good plane on time"
Cons: "I’ve got the latest iPad and software but entertainment system could not connect Only snack food for sale on an evening flight"
Pros: "on time"
Cons: "I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class."
Pros: "Missed my flight at it was rescheduled for $25 without asking a questions"
Pros: "The crew seemed good, including the front desk crew."
Cons: "The plane was late; so HOT inside while we waited."
Cons: "I had booked my flight to take off at 2:30 PM, but when I checked into London Gatwick, my boarding pass given was 7:30 PM. Of course there's no Alaska desk so I couldn't ask anyone there. When I got to Vancouver, they said they weren't sure why I was bumped, but there were seats left on the plane. However, I had to go to the gate to change my flight because I had a checked bag. Got to the gate, and of course, it was sold out. And they told me they weren't sure if the 7:30 PM flight would be taking off. So I grabbed my bags, made my way via train/bus/hitchhiking across the American border where my dad picked me up. Never got a single reason why I was bumped in the first place."
Pros: "Very good service"
Cons: "They sent one of two bags on an earlier flight than we were on and we thought they had got lost"
Pros: "Surprised by how young their staff was. Fast, friendly check in."
Cons: "Flight delays, but not Alaska's fault."
Pros: "We had a flight attendant, by the name of Bob, on the flight from SLC to Sea-Tac. He was very animated and lively through the flight, for instance during the safety demonstration he would carry on conversations with those of us close to him seamlessly and effortlessly, plus make funny gestures -- such as a thumbs-up when the seat-belt was correctly fashioned -- during the presentation. His wife was the head attendant (?) who gave the instructions, and he had fun with that as well. These are two people who do their job well, enjoy what they do, and leave a positive experience in the hearts of those they serve. I think they would be a fantastic feature story in Alaska Airlines magazine in the future."
Cons: "I've never liked the limited food choices and entertainment on flights from SLC to Spokane or Seattle. I know they are short flights, but a little more could be put in. I know Delta has on-flight entertainment from LAX to SLC, perhaps this should be done."
Pros: "I got home safe and on time"
Cons: "The flight was 4 hours late. I wasted an entire day sitting in the airport. You knew that the flight was late hours in advance and should have texted or emailed me to say as much. Instead, i checked in on time, and within 10 minutes we went from 'On Time' to four hours late due to equipment and crew. Very inconsiderate and unappreciated to your customer. The flight should have been free after such an inconsiderate gesture on your part. Instead, you send me a gift certificate that obligates me to spend more money with you in order to redeem it, and then within a certain period of time. If I have choice in the future, I'll lean toward a different airline than yours. You clearly do not value my time nor my business."
Pros: "Nothing. I didn't take flight due to punishing re book procedure that Alaska employs to basically steal money from it's customers."
Cons: "They weight the value of 1st leg much higher than the return AND they want to charge you $125 change fee. My grandma passed away and I needed to reschedule my itinerary. Alaska stuck to their policies (you know, those pages of microscopic text that is written by lawyers for sole reason of screwing the customer.) I just felt really abused; told them to keep the useless "credit". I booked with Delta. At what point does a company forget who they are supposed to be serving? Perhaps the people that are actually giving you money and keeping you in business?"
Pros: "Leg room, good customer service"
Pros: "Crew on flight was good. We left late but made up the time in flight."
Cons: "We purchased 2 one way tickets and were given confirmation of purchase. When we arrived at airport to check in we were told we were on standby only. If we could not get on the flight then the soonest we could fly out was 48+ hrs away, arriving in Seattle at 2 AM on Monday morning. we had no one available to pick us up, we live 1 hr away from airport. After many announcements and many incentives offered 2 young ladies did give up their seats and we could get on. The flight went well but we were extremely upset with the promise of confirmation and the obvious overbooking. It probably is what many airlines do but not good customer service was given to us. We often fly Alaska but this was a bad experience."
Cons: "All legs of my trip from San Jose to Seattle to Philadelphia and back were all delayed; so much so that on the trip to Philadelphia, I had to be rebooked on Delta; and on the trip back to Seattle, I almost missed my flight due to a 50 minute delay on the runway waiting. I found out that "officially", the plane was "on time" because the plane closed the doors on time. Also, same thing from Seattle to San Jose, we were delayed 30 minutes due to a tire that needed replacement. Again, "officially" we were on time, because the doors had closed and we were just sitting inside the plane."
Pros: "I got there 20min late but I got there"
Cons: "twice now my bags have been lost leaving seatac IN A ROW!! the small plane that I was on was leaking condensation directly onto my lap for the hole 3hr trip. when I told the stewardess about it (before take off) she then brought me 1 yes 1 napkin and said "this should help)... (-_-) really? I will think twice before flying with this airline again"
Pros: "I've always liked Alaska, but they really blew this one!"
Cons: "Mechanical delay started as a "few minutes back to the gate", then 1 1/2 hrs sitting on plane at the gate without updates, then "get off the plane while we turn off the air", another 2 hrs without definitive info, then "we're bringing in another plan in a couple of hours", then after 5 hours of waiting, an announcement that flight is cancelled. Finally they announced a replacement flight setup for 8am, but at 4am, Alaska sent texts that the replacement flight was delayed till 1:30 pm. We finally left Palm Springs for Seattle at 2:40, 26 hours late. But the worst part of the experience was the terrible communication. A few e-mails or texts or PA announcements as the time passed would have saved about 90 passengers the frustration of waiting hours at the gate area and ticketing desk for info about options. Alaska should have been more respectful of its customers. Minimal effort was made to answer our questions."
Pros: "First off Bonnie at the boarding gate was phenomenal , She has an amazing disposition ( especially at 5:00 in the morning ) she greeted each and every customer by name and with a smile ! Our flight was delayed for 2 hours as we sat at the gate while problems were fixed . The Captain made sure he kept us informed as each problem occurred and was fixed . The rest of the flight crew remained patient and attentive , which of course kept all the customers onboard calm and patient as well . My daughter just moved to Seattle and if this is the norm for this airline I will continue to use them for my future visits ! Elizabeth"
Pros: "The in flight crew is friendly and courteous."
Cons: "My 06:05 am flight was cx'd on 12/6 due to weather condition. I was moved to another flight which would turn a 2 hour direct to 8+ hours to Las. It would not work for me, and there is no other resolutions that Alaska airline could offer. So I had to buy a new ticket from Delta at the airport and flew out at 7:30am. Noted the very next Alaska flight @7:30am and the rest of the direct flights for the day to Las were all on time departure flights. I must say that i am disappointed for Alaska's emergency contangecy plan and its response to a mild conditioned winter weather, and afterall the "best resolutions" that the airline could offer."
Cons: "There was a 20 minute flight delay before we boarded. They announced there were mechanical difficulties, which took further time. After we left the gate, we were told that our pilots had timed out and we would need to return to the gate to get a new crew. We taxied for a long time back to the gate, then there were further delays while they added the gas they had used in taxiing. In the end, we arrived more than 2 hours late. It is hard to understand why they didn't anticipate this and replace our pilots before we left the gate. This was the return part of a round trip ticket; there was also a more than 2 hour delay on our earlier flight due to mechanical difficulties."
Cons: "They kept canceling flights even though other flights were going out of Seattle and landing in Bozeman. But the gate agents were promising that the next flight wasn't gong to be cancelled and that I was going to have a seat, so I didn't book another flight from Seattle to Bozeman on a different carrier. So I spend 3 full days waiting at the boarding gate with the gate agent saying boarding would begin in 30 minutes the whole time. Finally they just sent me back home to Oakland. I missed my last chance to see my grandfather alive. He just passed away. To add insult to injury, they they wouldn't refund the ticket because I "used" the ticket for a lovely vacation to the Seattle airport for 3 days."
Cons: "The check in process was cumbersome with being able to partially get checked in at a computer kiosk and then having to wait in line to see an agent while other people are jumping the queue and not having to wait... then having stood in line for 10 minutes an agent tells you that you could have been in the "fast" lane... but there is no or little signage indicating which line you should be in.... that's frustrating. Don't expect your customers to be unconsciously aware of all of your convoluted business practices... put some signs out... we at least like a hint. Other than that, for air travel it was a very good experience."
Cons: "My initial flight was at 0800; I got to the gate before 0800 and was told I couldn't board the flight even though it was still at the gate and was still before the flight time. I had to pay to rebook my flight, spent over $200 in rides to and from airport, had additional parking fees and was several hours late to work. I have many family members who work in flight service so I understand that employees don't like to re-do paperwork; however, being there before the flight time and being denied cost a lot of work time and money. I have always had great experiences with Alaska so this one was quite a disappointment compared to their usual great service. :("
Cons: "Something unexpected came up and I was unable to fly out on the date the ticket was purchased for. I contacted the airline several weeks to see what options I had to switch flights, or get a voucher for a later date. No flexibility. I purchased a one way ticket for $125.60 and they have a cancel/transfer fee of $125. So I had a wasted ticket that just flew empty. I asked if I could transfer the ticket to someone else... They said $125. They told me if I had purchased the travelers insurance it still would be the same fees as well. Not earning my business."
Pros: "The crew was just fabulous. They give you excellent service with out attitude."
Cons: "What I didn't like was how they boarded the plain. I understand the logic of boarding back to front but not enough organization at that gate. Too many people bunched up because the rows were not called appropriately. May I suggest that after the first class, children and assisted folks get in the plain that they call passengers by sections, for example: the last 10 rows first, then the next 10 and so on. so everyone is not just blocking the front part of the gate. So it will be more orderly and quickly to board. Not enough was said over the loud speaker about how people should be boarding, as most other airlines board front to back first and that's my 2 cents. thank you."
Pros: "I'm not normally an avid traveller, but in this last week, I've had the opportunity to fly on four different airlines. By far, the best airline ive flown upon was alaska. customer service was so friendly from start to finish, the employee who checked in our luggage (who was incredibly professional with an very frustrated guest behind me in line, while managing to not alienate my wife and i), ro the flight attendants who were prompt, responsive, and efficient in hydrating the passengers. My wife is uncomfortable with flying, and their demeanor with every aspect of their work made her feel safer and, at least, a little bit more relaxed. Thank you."
Cons: "Nothing, every point of my intreactions with Alaska Airlines were excellent or better."
Pros: "Great experience. Wow, fantastic flight attendants. Wish I could always fly Alaskan."
Cons: "Not a thing."
Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "For the price and service money well spent."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled and I was not notified until I had already drove to the airport.I had to cancel my flight and reschedule with a different airline from a different airport"
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave out of Cortez at 6am, the pilot showed up at 620am, and we did not depart untill 635am. Because of this, we missed our next flight out of Denver. There was no reason this flight should have been this late. When attempting to talk to boutique air staff at the airport and on the phone there was nothing they could do. 1. Because we "choose" to fly and 2 bc it was bought through a 3rd party. No one was able to help us. Unfortunately our next flight to Omaha only departs every 2 days. The closest they could get us to home was 7hrs away from our car at the airport. It was not frontier fault that we missed our next flight, it was clearly boutique air. The pilot in Cortez was a complete jerk, had no sense of time or urgency. If we are required to show up 90 minutes early, so should the pilot. We were stranded in Denver unless we wanted to buy all new tickets for around $800 or wait 2 days for next flight . I was very mad at boutique and their staff was less than accommodating or understanding. Very poor service. They would not own anything because flight was bought through kayak."
Pros: "The price was great, and it seemed like a fun idea to ride in a "private" plane."
Cons: "We had no security check on our first leg and only went through security for our second leg on the same plane. Huh? Also there was no communication from the airline about checking in or about the fact that the airline isn't in a main DFW terminal. Finally, both flights-- coming and going-- were hours late and caused significant scheduling problems."
Cons: "We were told the water and peanuts were in these drawers, help yourself. It made sense for the type of flight it was. Never been on a flight like that before."
Pros: "Your airline is a great to those of us living on the Eastside. Easy, punctual, courteous, and economical."
Pros: "It was like flying on a private/ corporate plane . Will def go again"
Pros: "I loved the plane its self, small & comfy. The crew was helpful & polite. Smooth Takeoff & landing. Plane departed on time for our initial takeoff."
Cons: "Bathroom could use more then a bucket to squat over, though it was a short flight i cant imagine a longer one with a full flight. Would have loved a drink on the flight preferably achoholic. beverage / snack options were sub par. Other then those minor details it was great!"
Pros: "That a seat was available at last minutes."
Pros: "I really like the ticket price. It makes flying affordable."
Pros: "What did I like? Everything! Service, price, flight conditions, crew were all wonderful. It felt like taking a private jet and was less expensive for my husband and I to fly round trip than to rent a car to drive from Denver to Durango for a week!"
Pros: "I liked the friendliness of the crew. They were very helpful. Overall it was enjoyable."
Cons: "We did hit some turbulence taking off from Massena. Definitely a bit bumpy than a larger aircraft."
Pros: "Great price for a comfortable ride."
Pros: "Easy on easy off, why drive"
Pros: "Not many people, even though boutique is more expensive I will use yall every time."
Pros: "I've never traveled in a plane that sat 8 people but I was an exciting experience. Our pilot was excellent and the landings were so smooth. Boarding was a breeze since there were only 3-7 passengers. I would definitely fly with Boutique again."
Pros: "The ease of everything. I love aviation too, so flying a small plane that you can watch everything was fun. We did have a long delay for a maintenance problem, but that happens with anyone at anytime. No. Middle. Seats. For being a small plane, they are great planes. Fast and smooth for its size."
Cons: "The space between seat rows is pretty small... it didn't affect me, for I am a small man, but would be pretty tight for a larger person."
Pros: "Had to take a Friday flight to Phoenix to drive back a car to Abq. Waited too long to get a ticket, by mid week the big guys were getting up there in price. I heard about BA before so when I noticed their price coming in the lowest in a KAYAK search I had no hesitation going for it! The whole experience was great. The big airlines are taking all the fun out of flying, long lines thru security, you get on the plane thru a tunnel so you don't even get to see the airplane. With BA checking in is 20 mins before flight, no long lines thru security. You just walk to their terminal, check in and walk out to your plane! The plane is comfortable, the pilots are very friendly. I'll definetely fly BA again!"
Pros: "Given the cost and the late date on which I booked, the flights were good. The plane was a bit small however, I knew that was the case when I booked. Boarding and Flight staff were good humored and professional. Of note, they took great care of an elderly passenger prior to and during the flight from Albuquerque to Alamosa. Very impressed with the customer service. Great ground crew at Albuquerque and great flight crew! In summary, I would definitely fly Boutique Airlines again."
Cons: "This has nothing to do with Boutique however, the Alamos Airport could definitely use some additional vending machines. I realize that the airport is very small however, absent any restaurants, some additional machines would be wonderful."
Pros: "Flight cancelled in Muscle Shoals layover"
Cons: "No one has told me anything, they have to wait on an email is the only reply I've gotten"
Cons: "Scheduled to fly Cortez, CO to Phoenix at 10am xmas morning. Delayed until 11:40. At 11 it was delayed another hour. At 12 it was delayed another hour. At 1 it was delayed another hour. At 2:30 it was cancelled. Ridiculous lack of communication. We assumed it was weather, but eventually they told us it was mechanical. We had to drive 7 hours to get to our vacation, mostly at night, partially in a snowstorm with icy roads, and of course the 8 hours home later in the week. If we had known they would cancel in the morning it would have been much less stressful for all. Or better yet - have some airplanes on hand in case of mechanical failure!!"
Pros: "Great service, comfy flight, extremely smooth despite the small plane. Best flight experience I've had in a long time!"
Cons: "The flight delay caused me to miss my connecting flight in Denver. I then had to pay $165 to change my flight. None of the airlines helped waive this fee. This is Boutique's responsibility as the delay was due to "not having enough fuel to get to Denver." This should have been accounted for prior to the 10min before the flight was supposed to depart. I am incredibly disappointed with Boutique and the lack of customer service."
Pros: "Small plane, comfy seats, no hassle"
Pros: "The crew was very friendly from the front desk to the piolet"
Pros: "Love Boutique air."
Cons: "So easy and comfortable to fly with Boutique!"
Pros: "Comfortable ride."
Pros: "Small plane, fast service once airborne."
Cons: "Delayed over an hour leaving."
Pros: "The price for this flight considering the convenience of everything compared to a typical commercial flight was amazing. I am very impressed with the service, and will absolutely try to find future flights on Boutique Air!"
Pros: "Takes no time at all to load 5 people on a plane! Great flight and you can see the things below you...Awesome."
Pros: "Boutique conducts business a little bit different from all the major airlines. Checking in and boarding is done very different. They arrange the seating based on the passengers weight. almost if you have chattered your own private jet. Very luxurious and comfortable. Although the plane is small, the takeoff and landing was very smooth. Don't hesitate do business with boutique."
Pros: "more snacks"
Cons: "small plane, was kind of tight"
Pros: "The thought of a private plane"
Cons: "How dirty, uncomfortable and cold the plane itself was. The flippant attitude towards safety information was also surprising"
Pros: "The flight was smooth and comfortable. It was nice not having to deal with the major airports."
Cons: "I'll admit, I was arrived some what close to the cut-off time but still had around 50 minutes to spare before boarding my flight. Staff was unable to provide me a printed version of my boarding pass. In result, I was not able to make my flight. Boutique air refuses to address the matter."
Pros: "From Albuquerque to Los Alamos you have a choice between driving for two hours or flying for 25 minutes. It's an easy choice when the flight is relaxed and professional and the scenery is incredible. And did I mention inexpensive?"
Cons: "The flight was delayed a little bit for a GPS update."
Pros: "It was a quick stop to refuel, and we were immediately brought back into the plane afterward."
Cons: "That we had to go back through TSA screening even though there were only six of us - but that's the TSA and not the airplane's fault."
Pros: "I flew Boutique from Nashville to Greenville for a business meeting and flew back the same day. I could not have imagined it being any better for the price point of the flight. That was the first time being on a plane that small and I actually like it much better than flying on the larger jets just for the fact that there are far less people. There is no waiting for your zone to board. People are not falling on top of you to put things in the over head bin and so on so on. This flight almost felt like just hopping in your personal car and arriving at your destination a hour and a half later. I would highly recommend this airline and if they and would really like it if they started a flight from Nashville to either Pensacola or Mobile."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the flight did not operate and I ended up driving 700 miles with a fellow stranded passenger. Too bad, because I was really looking forward to flying on a smaller plane for a change. Maybe next time..."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the flight did not operate and I ended up driving 700 miles with a fellow stranded passenger. Too bad, because I was really looking forward to flying on a smaller plane for a change. Maybe next time..."
Pros: "I promise I wasn't paid to write this, I am a frequent flyer and a believer in the way Boutique has things set up. The staff was friendly, from the counter workers to the pilots. The whole process was way faster than a larger airliner, granted there is usually a maximum of 8 passengers, but you get on fast and take off quickly! Plus every seat is first class; they rotate to allow more leg room, and recline very nicely! First time flying with them, and last time flying anyone else (if I can help it!)."
Cons: "The airplane is smaller than your usual airline, it's a Pilatus PC-12, so the turbulence is a little more apparent. Beyond that, it is a wonderful airplane!"
Pros: "everything. it was like having a private jet."
Cons: "No toilet paper on plane."
Pros: "So everyone was so nice I felt like a celebrity"
Pros: "I loved not having to wait for security or wait on bags after landing."
Pros: "Leg room Atmosphere"
Pros: "Just enjoy the whole trip"
Pros: "Loved the convenience and low hassle of not going through TSA. Very friendly staff and crew. Would fly again and again with boutique air. Especially since they have a flawless safety record!"
Every aspect of my jet blue experience was outstanding. Not only did everything go smoothly, but the jet blue employees went above and beyond to make sure passengers were happy. Jet blue will always be my first choice for airline travel.
It was super warm in the plane the entire flight.
The was just Ok but the flight was 2 hours and 44 minutes late in arriving to Phoenix. Thus departure was 11:59pm then pushed to 2:30.
Flight was delayed AGAIN. Rough landing. Did not seem to have a clue what to do
The worst costumer service
Lost my luggage for 4 days.
Pros: "The crew members were to patience with everyone and making sure everyone have a comfortable flight."
Cons: "Maybe Food? I don't say during the COVID19"
Pros: "Comfort, snacks, and entertainment"
Cons: "More flights out of Albuquerque"
Pros: "Smooth process thanks!"
Pros: "Not much other than an easy boarding."
Cons: "I want to complain about my experience on your Flight #1206 from PDX to JFX the plane is severely outdated. It doesn’t even look like a JetBlue plane. My tv doesn’t work as did a few others on board. We were told by the steward they were already reset and they just don’t work. That’s really unacceptable and a-shame. I could of flown whatever airline if I wanted to be uncomfortable for a 5 hour flight. I’m very disappointed with this. I have tried to go through your website to voice the issue but conveniently it doesn’t process after I fill out the required information. Your Twitter help team offered me $15 credit for my inconvenience wow what a way to help a customer what’s that not even a checked bag on one of your flights. What a joke. Very unhappy and I fly JetBlue often. Sad."
Cons: "My first flight was delayed an hour due to pilot error (we left the gate on time, but sat on the tarmac for an hour). This caused me to miss my connecting flight, which stranded me at JFK because they only had one flight per day to my destination. JetBlue's customer service told me I could not reach my destination until the next day, which was unacceptable (I had a morning interview). In fact, the only thing they said they could do was *PARTIALLY* refund my ticket, even though they stranded me in a completely different city. They also said I would "be able to" book a new flight with a different carrier, which cost roughly $400, using my own money. In the end, I spent about an hour talking with customer service until they were "nice enough" to do a partial refund with an additional credit equaling the remainder of my $400 ticket to fly with them in the future. It was still a very poor interaction with customer service."
Cons: "I really love flying Jet Blue. I don't mean to criticize, the following is written in an effort for improvement: The hour-long delay and the long wait time on the runway. A passenger got up to use the bathroom right before we were going to take off - we had to wait for her. Another passenger pressed the flight attendant call button right after lift-off. All of the food for purchase was sold out by the time it got to the back of the plane. And I could be wrong, but I don't remember going through safety instructions because we were waiting for a while and then had to hurry when we got clearance from air traffic control."
Pros: "I was comfortable enough to sleep."
Cons: "Delay in boarding and take off. One of the crew was obviously sick. Coughing and sneezing the whole flight. I would not take any food or drink."
Pros: "We got in ahead of schedule."
Cons: "The staff seemed tired and overworked. I got hit in the head by a flight attendant with the snack tray. An accident but still. Once we landed and we’re at the gate it took almost 40 min to get off the plane. That was ridiculous. Then after the long walk to baggage, luggage was still not there. Again we waited. Too much waiting after a long flight. I fly to NYC all the time and I’m usually in the city one hour after I land and it took 2 hours 15 min to get to Queens. Usually I have great flights with JetBlue. Last night was not the case. You get a C."
Pros: "Extra space seats. The crew. The food. The landing! Pre-board bag check at gate - asking for volunteers."
Cons: "The cabin temp was too cold. The entertainment was awful."
Pros: "average flight. Friendly crew."
Cons: "There is no online check in! Kayak sells multi-airline flights with airlines from different alliances and that does not allow you to check in online. We got to airport at 3:45 am- no one at the check in counter, employees finally arrived at 4 am, checked in, but then we don’t have seats asssigned! We get to the gate and wait-wait-wait until almost 5am and finally the employees were able to find someone willing to move so that myself and kids don’t get seats in emergency exit row. Nuts. Very unpleasant(not the employees, those were nice-it’s the check in and seat assignment policies)."
Cons: "We were hurried off the plane to meet our connection since the ABQ to JFK flight was delayed. They wouldn't let us Board. Had to pay for a taxi to LGA in order to catch next flight which is now twice delayed. No excuse. And security people were incompetent. A rough day, Jet Blue."
Pros: "The aircraft was clean and comfortable and everything went official"
Cons: "The film did not work"
Cons: "Notified flight was delayed over 2 hrs.. while at airport outside of screening an announcement that they are boarding our flight.this is an hour plus prior to the time on the board. When I realized that my boarding pass was no longer on my phone I had to go to get a pass. Male/ White older, was totally negative and not helpful except to tell me he could get me out the next day. Other workers picked up the ball and got me a pass and escorted me through tsa... then we sit on the plane for another half hr before leaving. Ridiculous!"
Pros: "Jet Blue was GREAT- as usual. I want you to know that getting through security in ATL airport was an ordeal. Incredibly long lines, disorganized (a sign clearly said, TSA Pre-check- line up here) and then the people managing the lines yelling at us (and this is an observation) because they wanted us lined up further back. This was baffling because the actual line into the TSA space was empty at that point. I think the ATL security staff could all benefit from some further training about to work with people effectively AND ATL airport needs to look at their systems. I know it's a busy airport, but there has to be something better than what they are doing now!"
Pros: "Entertainment was great! Great selection of movies!"
Cons: "The earbuds are terrible, I personally don't do well with that style - i would do research to see what the most universal type head phones are used because these were the worst. Also the control to my entertainment was on the right side, where the middle person kept changing my channels and volume. I would have liked for it to be on maybe the left side where no one else could touch it. (I sat at a window seat) The guy next to me fell asleep and so it was super hard to get to my controller (although there is one on the computer, he was still messing with it with his elbow)."
Pros: "The flight and crew were totally fine. I slept the whole time."
Cons: "There was not a single JetBlue employee at the Denver airport until exactly 2 hours before the flight. There were many passengers (upwards of 20 and many with small children) waiting around to check their bags and unable to access the food/bathroom/go through security. Everyone was confused and upset. While I understand that there are no flights for several hours prior to the late-night flight I was on, that does not mean that there is no need for an employee presence. Many people arrived multiple hours early because the most common destinations for Denver travelers are the mountain ski towns and the last departures of the shuttles that run from the mountains to the airport leave at 3:00pm. Therefore a large number of passengers arrive by 6:00pm for midnight flights and are left waiting in the check-in area until 10:00pm. The situation was made worse by the poor communication--there were signs saying that checkin was open only from 8:00am-11:00am, which left everyone very confused, given that we were on evening flights. There were many angry people sitting on the floor around the JetBlue counter."
Pros: "The on board crew was so accommodating. There was a screaming baby on board and one of the stewardesses did her best to make the baby stop crying. But Jose was the staff member that was closest to my seat and he was amazing! Funny, pleasant, great customer service! He made the difference in what could have been the plane ride from hell. Thank you Jose!!"
Cons: "When I booked my trip, I picked out seats but when I checked in, there was no seat on my boarding pass. So when I went to the gate they had my name on the top of the list and gave me a new boarding pass with a seat. When I got to that seat, someone was already sitting in that seat and when I looked at the boarding pass, it wasn't even my name that was on it. The stewardess found me another seat in row 24. Then when the tv did not work the whole flight. On top of that there was a screaming child most of the flight, which of course I saw not the fault of anyone. Needless to say I'm happy to be home"
Pros: "Ek 202"
Cons: "The flight was cancelled 4hrs after being boarded at JFK. We understand that such things happen. It’s the situation and handling after was very unprofessional. we were told to collect our bags and go to check in counter and collect our next bookings but instead after collecting check ins we were just given meal ticket and hotel address and given a toll free number to call which is very inappropriate. It should become your responsibility to rebook ya but not leaving it on us to call some number and wait. Though I called and I was told that I was not deboarded to rebook me. For which I tried to go and find an Emirates personnel who refused to talk to the Emirates guy on phone to explain and would just refuse to talk to me. Imagine yourself carrying two check ins and a carry one and running around just to try to get somebody to answer. Mr. Munit on phone was kind enough to be on talk and hold for about 40mins with me. It still ended up unable to book at that time. I was going to India for two day period and my one day had to be spent over in JFK. As humans it’s not the technical difficulty that was an issues it’s the Emirates crews at jfk inability to properly respond and answer arrogantly was the issue. One person instead of answering the questions of an old man was very rude and just blubbered “can’t you just listen to me” that was very inappropriate. It should be her responsibility to listen first. I have always flew Emirates and inflight crew are always very patient and good. This experience makes me think otherwise."
Pros: "I like only 1 thing wi - fi is working good."
Cons: "I don’t like anything. It’s a worse airline ever i take I would like to suggest never ever fly with jet blue . I go through so many problems so rude employees working at help desk . Especially steven he said he is supervisor then he says he is only shift leader instead of helping he just talking so mean guy . This is really a big story i try to put in small words ...i fly with them on march 2nd LAX to JFK my finale destination is amritsar in India because of their fault i miss my next flight . The lady help me in morning she is very mean i wanna talk to supervisor she say I’m supervisor but she is only shift leader.i forgot her name . When steven told me he is supervisor i was like"
Cons: "When I scanned my boarding pass the Jetblue staff member told me my carry on was too big and had to be checked. This was puzzling to me because I travel often and do not have a problem with that bag. As I was sitting on the plane I saw everyone's bag's were bigger especially the man next to me. His was significantly larger and he had a large duffle bag between his legs causing him to manspread into my area. and yet i was told "make sure your purse is under the seat" seriously?! What about his giant duffle bag and huge carry on roller?!"
Pros: "The second flight attendant approached was helpful."
Cons: "Upon boarding an odor of vomit was obvious. An attendant announced that a previous passenger had been sick in the row and there was no time to adequately clean it. There was only one food option available for purchase. Neither the overhead reading light or entertainment system at my seat worked. The first attendant I approached told me she could find me a seat in the back of the plane. I declined as I reserved a seat in the front of the plane in order to deplane and go through customs swiftly. I was then offered a seat directly behind the row where the passenger had vomited. Eventually, a different attendant placed me in a seat nearer the front of the place where both the light and entertainment system worked."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed making it so I and several others had less than 4 minutes to catch our next flight. The flight attendants wouldn’t help us at all. Instead of having us come to the front of the plane to exit first we had to ask the rest of the passengers if they didn’t mind letting us through to catch our flight. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and I had to sprint to my next gate that had been changed making it much farther away from our arrival gate. Now I get to spend my vacation in pain trying to recover."
Pros: "Crew and captain were excellent! Wonderful!"
Cons: "An earlier flight was cancelled and people rescheduled to my flight. When I got to my seat, someone was sitting in it, and he had received a seat belt adjuster. He asked me whether he could remain in my seat given his discomfort in the seat to which he was reassigned, which was a middle seat. I could have said no, but it was clear that it made most sense for me to sit in the middle seat (the window seat was already taken and it would have been a tight fit otherwise). Though I appreciate that the folks affected by the flight cancellation were accommodated on my flight, I hope in future the seat reassignments can also be taken into account. Also, I think slightly healthier food would be nice (chips vs cookies). Thanks."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and uneventful. The landing was expertly executed. No safety issues. The cabin was comfortable and quiet."
Cons: "Fat snacks The $25 charge for checking one piece of luggage. The rudeness at the airport when I asked for directions. I don't fly everyday, so why would you expect me to know where everything is and exactly how your process works? The emotional exchange at the airport when I checked my bag. I was the only person in line and there were two JB employees behind the counter who were more interested in their social conversation than in assisting me. I made a simple request for assistance and was immediately blown off. I can't complain enough about this."
Pros: "This flight was delayed when we were on the runway due to air traffic control. They estimated it could take an hour or more to take off. I told the flight attendants that I had a connecting flight in NY and they both helped look to see if there was a later flight I could get on, if we didnt make it in time. When they determined my connecting flight was the last one going out of NY that night, I asked if I could possibly de-plane if we were going to take off more than an hour late since I would surely miss my flight and and I would rather go home and sleep in my own bed than get a hotel in NY. They were genuinely and sincerely interested in helping me, so they spoke with the captain and updated the passengers since some other people had the same issue. The capain surprisingly agreed to roll back to the jetway to me off if we were going to be delayed passed the time for connection. Thirty minutes later, we were in the air and I made my connecting flight. The flight attendant even gave me earbuds to watch TV free of charge!!!! What an absolutely amazing flight crew!!!!!"
Pros: "Leg room because I sat next to the emergency exit"
Cons: "Everything except leg room. First, your team never offered beverages. When I asked them about it, they said that they didn't want to wake anyone ... really? Like the whole plane? It's a red eye flight ... I'm sure most would take at least a water. Meanwhile First Class was served every two minutes for everything they wanted ... and us folks that make up the rest of the plane ... we don't count? So, everyone basically went to the fridge to get drinks. Water wasn't even offered ... huh? Also, your seats were ridiculously crammed ... extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, I'm glad we made it to New York."
Pros: "The one thing I liked was the expedited service I got because my brother needed a wheelchair. The comfort of the plane was really nice as well, one of the best flights I had in a while."
Cons: "What I didn’t like was how my flight got cancelled and the only flight I was able to get was 4 days later. So I was stuck in the Dominican Republic for a total of two weeks!! I had to miss another weekend at work which made me lose a lot of money since I’m a barber and lost some one my clientele. On top of my flight being cancelled it also got delayed again but only by 30 minutes so I wasn’t so upset. When it came to the boarding, that had to be the slowest boarding I’ve went through. The gate seemed very behind on the technology and that caused the workers to work even slower. At times they had to step away and go on their monitor to fix something out so it took an extra 30 minutes before I even got into my seat, and I was sitting in row 6 of the plane. Then after everyone was seated the flight got held back an extra half hour because a lady wanted to file a complaint saying that she got pushed and ended up being the only person that got kicked off the flight so she did it all for nothing. So with everything happening, our flight got delayed an hour and a half. Very disappointed.."
Cons: "We cancelled the flight. I did not like the refund that we ended up getting. You did not get get much of a refund. We were very disappointed on the amount. We had to cancel because there was a serious family emergency, so we had no other choice but to cancel. I know you probably did what your policy says, but ....."
Cons: "I waited three days for a flight to Portland, Maine. My first flight was cancelled due to weather. The next two days the same flight was cancelled again. When it did go, it was three hours late. Our flight ended up leaving at 3:00am. This is all excusable due to weather but I also lost my premium sat. The only seats available were the middle seats. I had booked early and had a great fee-free seat. I had to pay $75 to get a window seat. On the 1st leg of the trip they were 3 hours late coming out of Portland. I'm not flying JetBlue anymore. There are cheaper flights that fly during the day."
Cons: "Let me preface this by saying that prior to this experience I generally though highly of JetBlue. To change my opinion of them, JetBlue had to monumentally screw up, which they did. This was the worst experience I have had on any airline, ever. Why I am mad: - I had a 4.5 hour delay due to maintenance that caused me to miss a flight to India. The 4.5 delay was on a 50 minute flight from Portland, ME to JFK. I nearly could have driven faster than JetBlue got me to New York. - Because of my missed flight to India, I missed day 1 of a two day wedding of which I am a wedding party member - In order to get to India in time for day 2, I had to book a new flight on a different airline for an additional $1000, on top of what I paid for my original flight to India - I was originally told by JetBlue in Portland, ME that they would offer me a reimbursement for the Portland flight, a hotel in NYC, and a travel credit for the trouble. While not totally satisfying since I was still going to miss a day of the wedding, I thought this to be a fair enough offer. - However, at the JetBlue desk in JFK, they completely reversed course. I was told that all they could offer me $100 travel credit. No reimbursement for Portland flight. No compensation for the extra $1,000 flight I had to book. And best of all, no hotel in New York, I was stranded at JFK for the night. I spoke with a supervisor at the desk who repeatadely told me that JetBlue had done their job in getting me to JFK and that they were not responsible for anything after I arrived to JFK. A 4.5 hour delay on a 50 minute flight is bad. Being steadfastly unwilling to compensate for missed flights is worse. And stranding me in JFK after telling me they would offer me a hotel room is just plain unacceptable. My family will be cancelling their JetBlue credit cards and we will look elsewhere for flights in the future."
Cons: "Flight attendant was very rude."
Pros: "The crew seemed capable and came around a couple times with water. We arrived safe and sound as one would hope for, if an hour or so later than scheduled. Seats seemed roomier than most standard economy/coach (probably due to it being an older model). Though I didn’t partake they seemed to offer more complimentary snack options than other airlines."
Cons: "The airplane cabin had a strong urine odor that endured throughout the red-eye flight, the air temperature had to have been at least 75 degrees, probably 80 which was a bit stifling. No usb/power at the seat which would be preferable/should be standard by now for a coast-to-coast flight. Seat didn’t recline which isn’t the end of the world but a bit of a bummer. My headphones didn’t work with the little screen at my seat but it’s ok because based on my neighbor’s screen it was just a rotating lineup of Jet Blue commercials/fake tv shows that I can easily pass on."
Pros: "The only good things about this flight were: - The crew at the gate were very friendly and attentive - We arrived safely without incident"
Cons: "We were delayed 2 times before boarding. We were delayed 1 more time while on the plane. The pilot told us there was equipment trouble that had been fixed, but there was paperwork to fill out and it would only be a few minutes...and then radio silence for 30 minutes before pulling back. The flight attendants rushed through the pre-flight announcents and I could only understand about 60% of it due to speed, volume and accent. Despite asking me for my drink order, it never came...and I only heard a few soda cans pop open at all. Did they just decide not to serve us? She even gave me a napkin for it. Luckily when they put the snack basket in front of me, there was a tiny bottle of water, which I grabbed...little did I know, that was all I would get. The flight attendants were just tapping in the back of the plane the rest of the flight. They didn’t even bother collecting garbage until we were on final approach. They also never did the normal checks before landing."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 1hour and 40 min. One hour at the boarding gate and 40min on the airstrip. Pilot said we were overweight. When we landed at 730 vs 557 we still had a delay because our gate was occupied causing a greater dalay. Due ro this delay I was late to work. The flight attendee making the announcements might have been new because she kept messing up what she was saying and shouting and mumbling through the speaker. I usually have amazing flights with jetblue but I'm highly disappointed with this flight."
Cons: "I had been in the airport since 1130 am, trying to get on an earlier flight. My original flight was scheduled to leave 540 am the following day (the day Irma was supposed to hit). At first waited 30 mins in a line to speak to a JetBlue agent about finding another flight. She said she couldn't help me, no flights available, and didn't have the patience to take some time to explore all options. I then proceeded to look online and then call JetBlue, after 30 mins on hold I finally got someone. She actually helped me and looked at all flight options and got me on a flight to CT (2 hrs away from me) leaving that same evening. I ended up waiting in the airport for 10 hrs. At one point in the evening the gate attendant began giving out packed snacks and beverages to passengers waiting for another flight that had been delayed, but refused to give out anything to other passengers waiting for delayed flights....not even water! I was shocked at how callously the gate attendant turned me and other passengers away. I had been in the airport for 10 hrs! Thr flight I was scheduled on was delayed by about 3 hrs leaving PR to NYC, but I was told the snacks we're only for passengers who had been waiting at least 3 hrs. I was turned down 3 times, and watched as other passengers just grabbed water and canned beverages without even asking and without being turned down. At the time that I asked for the last time my flight was delayed by 2.5 hrs already. I had a headache, needed water to take medication, hadnt eaten dinner, and all the restaurants in the airport were starting to close. I ended up spending close to $20 on the last Domino's small cheese pizza, a bottle of water and a snack bar....because JetBlue was being stingy. And yet, this is the same airline that let's passengers grab as many snacks as they want on the flight, delayed or not. My flight was scheduled for 807pm. We left at around 1106 pm. Thanks, JetBlue. Way to go on that customer service."
Pros: "I liked my face mask. overnight flight"
Cons: "I don't think there is the option to turn off the TV"
Pros: "My flight from fort Myers to New York was amazing. Flight was ahead of time and crew was polite."
Cons: "When I received my luggage it was so damaged that someone used clear tape to keep it closed. There was no note inside the luggage to state if it was tsa who went through the bag so I went to customer service to inquire about it. The representative from New York airport stated that I over packed my bag that's why it was damaged. I can assure you that my bag was under weight and there was no problem when i last closed it. So to be clear both zippers on my luggage was completely destroyed and taped up like a ragged cloth. I was embarrassed to walk around with my bag and the only recompensation I received was a $40 credit to my next flight."
Pros: "Free wifi when I got my bags and was headed out of the airport. I had to order an uber to the wifi helped"
Pros: "Boarding was OK. Price was cheap and it was a direct flight to where I needed to be."
Cons: "I couldn't pick my seat ahead. The lines at the Manchester airport were stupid long, and then you have to wait in their shopping mall area, before they announce the gate 1 hour before departure. Very limited movies and tv choices. All beverages were for purchase, but they had trouble processing my credit card. No free beer and wine. Lunch was OK, snack was weird. Not enough veggies or fruit. The crew pretty much threw the food at you. It was filled with families and kids, most likely on vacation in August going to Disneyworld, so it was noisy. And the cabin was cold, no blankets were given."
Cons: "Allianz insurance screwed up my flight causing me to miss my flight and now I can not be refunded for a mistake that the Allianz and vayama made. Still waiting to hear back from kayak about refunds or credits or something."
Pros: "We landed safely."
Cons: "It was freezing. We boarded 1 1/2 hours late. The stewards were a bit short and not very patient. I saw people being allowed to board with way more bags than you said were permitted and some of the on plane bags were so huge that the front people had to check their bags at the last minute. Boarding was slow as it was clear that the stuff was not fitting in the overhead compartments. What happened to dimensions of bag restrictions? It is frustrating to the people that abide by the rules to see them so flagrantly ignored."
Pros: "I haven't used any carrier but United Airlines in a very long time, so my impression is essentially a contrast between United and JetBlue. I have for some time bought "extra space" seats on United, so I did on JetBlue as well. Much roomier and more comfortable on JetBlue. For entertainment, United offers DirectTV for a fairly stiff fee. JetBlue offers a choice: one can purchase headphones for a fee or use one's own headphones for free, and the entertainment package comes not only with commercial-ridden DirectTV and a few recently-popular films, but some commercial free documentaries and popular TV comedy that I enjoyed. Their selection of music is also very large. I also appreciated the food selection and the free wifi."
Great customer service. Safety and cleanliness. Fly delta.
I liked that once up, things ran more smoothly and we still landed on time despite a 45+ minute delay leaving the gate. The boarding process was another story. With the demand for proof of a negative COVID test prior to boarding by the US, Air France had just 2 staff members checking these tests results, collecting a paper affidavit of sorts also required by the US, and checking boarding passes and passports for an entire Boeing 777 full of passengers. There were other staff around This seemed preposterous. Then, when I finally boarded, the luggage was still be loaded onto the plane at 1:50pm for a flight schedule to leave at 1:15pm.
I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test.
It would have been nice to be served some water
Couldn’t have done anything better.
The TSA screening is absolutely unnecessary. It is dehumanizing and has been proven to be in-effective!
Don’t seat 500lb people on regular seats. Miserable flight and will be asking for a refund. Horrendous sat on the floor half the flight
Pros: "The crew and the quick boarding"
Cons: "There still needs to be more room in the cabin and comfort plus. And not only just for leg room but also arm room"
The flight back from Cabo was excellent however the flight from LAX was terrible. I was happy by accident to get to LAX 4 hours, early. It took almost all 4 hours. I dont think I will fly with Delta out of LAX anytime soon.
Pros: "Crew was kind and helpful. Very clean and made sure we were able to sanitize and keep our area safe."
Pros: "Extra room and fast boarding"
Pros: "tCrew was good. On one side of airplane in main cabin, bathroom was twice size of normal airplane bathrooms. This was welcome."
Cons: "Seats were reasonable."
Pros: "Everything! Thank you"
Cons: "Nothing. Thanks"
Pros: "Crews were friendly"
Pros: "The seat was very comfortable even as a basic seating and the entertainment options were great."
Cons: "The voice from the pilot was very loud and would be too much if I had my headphones on."
Cons: "Went from LA to Guangzhou, China. My family checked 6 bags in. Only 5 arrived in China. My bag with ALL my clothes and ALL my meds was the one missing. I had nothing to wear (and that includes underwear) and no meds for 2 freakin’ days. Worst experience EVER!!!!"
Pros: "The cockpit crew waited to turn the plan off until the Footbal playoff game was finished. I thought that was very considerate of them."
Cons: "Seats were right but that I guess is to be expected these days."
Cons: "I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and prices were fair"
Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"
Pros: "Check in Denver super helpful Gate staff hustled to turn around flight Flight crew excellent"
Cons: "Flight delayed, almost missed international connections"
Pros: "I love flying Delta and my flight to Australia was incredible. I like the fact that I can check two bags free and the free inflight messaging and entertainment. Some of the staff were very polite and friendly."
Cons: "The seat I was in was broken. It moved and I was stuck sitting on metal. There was no leg room. The plane used going to Australia was a lot roomier this plane was old. Some of the flight attendants were very unfriendly and seemed to be bothered by the fact they had to do their job. The entertainment system had to be rebooted multiple times and the usb on the seats didn’t work. They ran out of food during lunch."
Cons: "Tray table was broken, I was downgraded from Comfort plus to main cabin after a plane swap with no mention by anyone and no compensation. Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"
Pros: "The flight was on time. Airport personnel were courteous & efficient. Airplane was clean. Pilot was friendly. A passenger had a peanut allergy so Delta distributed almonds, instead. Nice. Overall, I like Delta."
Cons: "Leg room was just barely adequate. It was a small plane-nothing could be done about that."
Pros: "Leg room and seats are very tight and I'm a small person."
Cons: "Coach class is very crowded."
Cons: "Delayed due to problem with the door"
Cons: "I wasn’t able to select my seats and choose a meal before getting to the airport and hence had a middle seat and no special meal"
Pros: "food was pretty good."
Cons: "a bit squashy in the seat. Inability to go online and select my seat without having to ring Delta and they do it."
Cons: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."
Cons: "Partner site said it was Aeromexico. First flight was delta so different check bag policy for internal flight that cost me $80. Screw you all"
Pros: "Cabin crew and captain were great."
Cons: "Don't like how you don't get your seat assignment until you get to the gate. I was given the window seat in the very last row for a 6 hour flight, quite uncomfortable. I could've booked another airline for a similar price and picked the seat i wanted at booking. They ran out of food choices by the time they got to the last row, so we were given whatever was left. Delayed because one of the bathroom doors wasn't working, 30 min later still wasn't fixed and ultimately they decided to go without it."
Cons: "They change schedule day before we flight, the change schedule 2 time while were flighting"
Pros: "Nothing, they didn’t care about you or to help, the llady was so rude and unfriendly, this situation ruin my whole trip"
Cons: "I call in advance to paid the fees for baggage, I call Aeromexico because was the main airline for the fly, but Delta at Seattle made me paid again the fees for baggage’s even by phone they said that I didn’t need to paid. BE AWARE AND CAREFUL BECAUSE THE LADIES IN THE FRONT DESK didn’t even look the paperwork that you have in hand, they only want to charge you saying that your payment thru Aeromexico didn’t help you in the 1st fly. How this can happen when Delta and Aeromexico are two subsidiary one of another ?"
Cons: "They were very dishonest about everything. We need to be there in Australia on Monday morning for very important event but reached Australia Monday night 8PM. Virgin Australia contatcted out their flight from SJC to LAX through Delta and Delta cancelled flights becaue no-show of Pilot to operate the plan. What a Joke???? We asked them to put us through another carrier to LAX for connecting flight they refused.Very very BAD. It was a big miss for us.. never again Delta/Virgin Australia.............."
Pros: "I love and prefer most everything about Delta"
Cons: "Customer service outstanding, flight on time. Clean plane, but couldn't hear the captain announcements we were 30 minutes late arriving in Albany and our car rental office was closed!! We were there for my dads funeral didn't need that stress!!! That was terrible!!!"
Pros: "Boarding went well, departed on time and arrived pretty much on time."
Cons: "My entertainment system didn't work. I brought it to the attention of a flight attendant since all the attendant lights weren't". So they were having a glitch I the system. He said he had them reset mine. Hee must have furthermore until they did the beverages. They tried twice, nothing worked. No movies, no audio, no light. Nothing done, no compensation. NYC to Seattle, a long flight tho not even read my magazines."
Pros: "The service on board is always GREAT! in Aeromexico"
Cons: "The flight was canceled and we were put in another flight next night. But the staff in Buenos Aires run the situation chaotically and made mistakes that infuriated many passengers. They need more training to learn how to say "I am sorry" more often and know how to avoid getting into arguments with passengers."
Pros: "Staff on the plane was courteous although they skipped half of us for snacks & forgot some requests for water"
Cons: "Was not able to check in online. Was not able to select my seat online. I was told I would be able to do both of these things. Spent 30 minutes trying to find a number to someone at Delta to check in & select seat. I was in Australia & all Delta offices were closed because it was Sunday. Although I had an internationally calling plan, no calls to Delta US would go through. finally found someone through a back channel that would help me. We boarded an hour late, and staff would not answer any of our questions about what was going on or how late we would arrive (they sped up the fight so that we landed on time). Flight ran out of drinking WATER after the first service. Half of our section (Economy Plus) was skipped for snacks. An unruly child was allowed to scream for almost the entire flight & was running up & down the aisles. NOTHING was said to the parents by staff members. Was absolutely the worst behaving child with who I've had to fly."
Pros: "Some of the ground staff was trying to be helpful."
Cons: "That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"
Cons: "When I was transferred to Delta's website to book, the date was reset to 6 months in the future. It happened to be the same Monday the 26th so that's why I didn't notice. Delta refused to refund my money. This was a terrible experience and I plan not to use Kayak or Delta again!"
Pros: "Nothing to like"
Cons: "Poor service Poor air craft space The is my worst cattle transport Shame on Delta"
Pros: "Nothing to like about this leg"
Cons: "The cramped real cramped space, shame on the US Poor service Delta should be ashamed of itself for this kind of poor cattle transport"
Pros: "Very nice employees. Coke, peanuts good."
Cons: "Outgoing plane had tv screens, large, with good movie choices, but was an hour late. Returning, if you brought a phone, you can get an app. My phone is about four inches. No good movies. Seats even smaller on this "new plane." Deboarding chaos. Everyone unhappy. Hour late again."
Pros: "Reassuring that the airport desk staff were keeping an eye on my connection from LAX to Columbus. Turned out it was too tight of a squeeze and I missed the connecting airplane's door closing by a few minutes, despite having RUN through LAX to get there."
Cons: "I am disappointed by the lack of communication among Delta staff when we arrived at LAX. Our turn-around was late coming into SMF, thus late leaving. It would have been very helpful if the gate staff at LAX had advised me to not bother to try to make my connection, or called the next gate to tell them we were running over there. RUNNING. Or at least done something to act like they cared. I am disappointed by the lack of initiative. I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Thank you."
Cons: "Took 8 hours to get from Oakland to Los Angeles. Flight delayed then cancelled at Oakland. Driven from there to San Francisco. That flight delayed by 45 minutes. Got on board and then they neede 4 people to get off the plane since it was overweight. That took another hour. Bad day of travel."
Cons: "Short flight didn't provide food or beverage service. Cabin crew announcements were rapid & muffled, difficult or impossible to hear or understand. Would not have felt confident if there'd been an emergency."
Pros: "Pretty much nothing related to the entertainment system... It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."
Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."
Cons: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"
Pros: "I liked that the security line experiences very mellow, the staff all around was very friendly and nice, the TV's were great and they had free blankets and headsets. It was a very relaxing experience."
Cons: "thought the cabin could have had more heat"
