They had passengers distanced from each other the whole time, handed out sanitizing wipes as we walked on the plane, made sure folks kept their masks on, gave us individual little baggies with snacks and water bottles that also had individual hand sanitizer packets. I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June."

I didn’t see one of them smile through the whole flight like they were just going through the motions. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

At first the flight attendants did little if anything to help. Later after I pointed out the problems we were having they were better. Such young ones needed better supervision and meals easier to eat than they received. I needed less stress on the long 8 hour flight. This was not quite a Sky Priority Comfort Plus experience for me."

Good experience

It’s virtually impossible to give a high-quality suggestion from an airline that would not allow us on the airplane because they stated we needed Covid vaccination even though we had health certificate stating that we were healthy and had antigens in our body as well as our negative Covid test. Furthermore, we cannot find anyone to support and help us get reimbursed for a trip that we could not go on

Both ticket agents and flight attendants were very pleasant to deal with. There was no entertainment on the flights and the charger in my seat was inoperable.

Lots of turbulence on this flight, which limited beverage service. Despite the length of the flight, there was only one beverage service, and the "snack" they handed out was a single packet of Biscoff cookies. It was a newer plane with outlets for plugging in devices and a shelf for placing a cell phone to view -- all that was great. The free entertainment was also great and much appreciated, as my husband had finished his book and needed something to amuse himself during the long trip. But if the airlines could just give us passengers a bit more seat space, it would improve things immensely; the guy next to me was well over 6-feet tall, and he couldn't help but extend his knees into my space.

I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked."

The check in process was kind of slow considering that I had already checked in and just needed to drop off my bag. Everything else was great! I love flying with the Japanese. Their customer service is always astounding.

Cons: "Baggage fees for a carry on were ridiculous. $57 for a regular carry on to store in the overhead bin. With gas prices falling to record lows, why do airlines still charge these additional fees? Oh, I guess we're used to paying them, so let's not stop now. For my carry on to fly with me, it cost about 20% of the total fare. The percentage of total fare price would be much higher, but my particular flight was $259. If I had flown into Ft Lauderdale instead of Ft Myers, the fare would have been $103, making the baggage fee over 50% of the total cost...this should be looked into."

Cons: "Crew instruction too fast, very difficult to follow. Games were silly. Flight departing Ft. L left over 4 hrs late due to lack of crew."

Cons: "It would've been nice to have a seat that reclined for sleeping. But I understand that space is limited."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled TWICE in one day. I ended up having to book on another airlines and paid quadruple the original price out of my own pocket. Spirit told me I should go to the airport (an hour away), and they would "try" to make put me on a flight with another carrier. This was a business trip and I absolutely had to be there for a certain time, so I couldn't risk waiting on Spirit to "try" and place me with no guarantees. They gave me two $50 flight vouchers, as if I'll ever fly with them again! Awful, stressful experience."
Cons: "Staff was not friendly or helpful."
Cons: "I have never been treated so rudely by an airline staff. I left my jacket on the plane and after an hour of waiting for my bag asked if it was found. She calls the cleaning team and says 'did u find a.jacket?, no ok bye' end of story. There is no effort to find my jacket that I just left and I am in tears with the disregard this attendant has. The entire experience with spirit had been Terrible but this is inexcusable the worst I have ever experienced."
Pros: "The gate agent was very understanding."
Cons: "Charged $100.00 to gate check 2 bags. There was no savings for me. Had i known there was an additional charge, i would not have booked on Spirit Airlines. They also charged $10.00 to choose a seat. I am sure all of this was there when I got my seat, but it was not there when i purchased my ticket."

It was a "low price" ticket, but in the end I had to pay $90 for luggage. I did not like the noises of the plane. The crew im times were talking so loud I could not take a nap."

Pros: "No amenities, but overall good flight. On time, short, fast lines at check-in and boarding. Emergency seat totally worth it for tall people! Smooth take off and landing. Flight times were a little inconvenient, would rather not fly overnight, but we made it work."

Cons: "The staff was incredibly rude and allowed other passengers to take our assigned seats. When I asked for assistance,the flight attendant told me to work it out myself with the other passengers. We were charged almost $200 in baggage fees during the trip for only one suitcase and a small carry on! The seats are the smallest of any airline and there are zero amenities...not even a glass of water!"
Pros: "Despite my gripes, the staff was professional and polite."
Cons: "Firstly, I understand a discount airline will try it's best to place fees anywhere possible, but it seemed as though I was living in the fine print. Concerning luggage fees, the staff at every counter had a different opinion on what could be considered a personal items. While heading to LAX had one standard, returning to IAH had another. Rules seemed to be arbitrary. For example, a backpack was ok, but wheels on a backpack might change it's "category." On the speakers, "small backpacks" was permissible, but this is subjective. This is in addition to the fact that some Spirit employees told customers "any backpack is okay because it's a backpack." I fly frequently and have the smallest lightest carry-on case made by Hershey. I have never had problems with it's dimensions. It BARELY poked it's top out of that cage-fitting stand. I mean, it skimmed the top. Really, it was the handle that peaked out. I should have taken a picture. I had to pay $65 dollars for that one. Then, another $65 for a small backpack for my little cousin because it had wheels that couldn't retract! 2) The obvious confusion on whether to use kiosks or not was also apparent. People did not understand if both were needed. The confusion resulted in people asking other people to watch their luggage while they went over to the kiosk! In a post-911 world, this is not only poor airport etiquette, but downright dangerous. There should be signs stating: "If you need to check-in luggage, print and get in line, unsure if you need to pay, get in line, or if you have one personal item (showing measurements), print your boarding pass and continue to security. 3) No complimentary anything is given during flight. Sell. Sell. Sell. I and the three family members that accompanied me will NEVER book with Spirit again."

Cons: "RUDE RUDE RUDE workers "helping" customers as the nightmare of checking in and receiving boarding pass. Then was told I didn't have a seat for the flight until someone didn't show up, EVEN THOUGH I had purchased a seat the night before. Almost didn't get on the flight because of that. Then if your bag is over 40lbs you pay an additional $30 to check it in. I ALWAYS fly Southwest and tried this airlines for the first and LAST TIME. All workers are rude and obviously don't want to be there either. Spirit airlines I AM DONE WITH YOU."

Cons: "Seats are not very comfortable for long flights and the airplane generates a lot of cabin noise when landing as if metal was being crushed by the wind. Definitely a no frills experience."

Cons: "I arrived to checkin in my bag early so I could relax in the airport only to be created with a sign stating that no one would be available to assist me until 4 PM which was two hours later? I then proceeded to pay by the kiosk to check my bag to be safe but then was unable to leave it. I then had to still carry the bag around only to return and be at the back of an extremely long line of people waiting. I finally get through then proceeded to my gate 17 to checkin. Once one the plane I noticed several people with bags the size of mine as carry on which meant I just wasted $52. I was extremely disgusted because I could have possibly had this issue resolved and saved my hard earned money if someone was at the baggage checkin desk."

Cons: "I was very unhappy with the surprise boarding fees. I was charged to pick a seat and to BRING A CARRY ON!! I thought that was unacceptable. What only made me more angry was that they didn't even seem to check that I paid for my carry on, which leads me to believe most people weren't charged and only the suckers like me who paid in advance had to pay for the privilege of carrying our own backpacks. I have left maybe 3 negative reviews about companies my whole life, but this one I felt was necessary. I will never fly Spirit again, even if it means I have to pay extra."
