Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Fly got delayed more than 2 hours didn't offer more drinks or snacks! Food was horrible so I was very hungry since I couldn't eat it! And the snacks were available at the back much later but when I went to check it out almost everything was gone! Other airlines come to offer you snacks! AA did not and the make me feel like an intruder when I went to check the empty snacks trays! Only the package food was still available. Horrible service, mean big headed crew! It's is simple! Be nice and make an effort! Especially for the people that actually is there paying the premium!"

The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red"

They said that the TV issue that *some* of the people were experiencing wasn't able to be fixed by them and only by the company that provides it's service. So there wasn't anything that could be done. I know that at least the two guys that were traveling next to me had issues with the tv monitors as well. It was just driving it home that I will never fly on American Airlines again. I don't ask for much these days while flying, it's not like it's a luxury anymore. Cons: "When I was boarding the flight from Denver to Jackson the ticket agent was extremely hostile and rude. I was carrying a back pack and a small purse strapped across my shoulder which was maybe 4"x6". He shouted at me after I had handed in my ticket and started down the gangway that my purse needed to be in my backpack. I have never heard of such a thing in all my years of travel. I complied and started to put my purse into my backpack when he shouted at me "Ms. Derbyshire get back here now! You cannot be past the counter!" Your employee was rude, hostile and made me very upset as well as the other passengers waiting to board. Later other passengers who witnessed the event told me how upset they were. Sadly this is not the first time I have had issues with United. Clearly this type of behavior is in your culture. There is no need to shout at anyone."

Cons: "While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming."

Cons: "UA flights always get delayed and this time I failed to catch my connecting flight to London. I was rescheduled to the flight in the morning of the second day. And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"
