Pros: "Nothing about this airline. Will avoid flying through Delta if they allow their team to lie to their passengers. Both land crew and onboard crew were disrespectful to their passengers."
Cons: "agent boarding delayed boarding because she wanted everyone to check their bags. A flight that was leaving 2 minutes later than our flight started boarding before our plane. It wasn't that the 2 planes arrived at different times. The agent was just horrible. In the end, she lied to the passengers that there were no overhead space left. When I went to get my seat, most of the overhead space was empty!! I had to check-in my bag and my bag was damaged by the delta crew."

We missed our connection in Atlanta, even though we arrived at the gate in time to see the gate agent shut the door while we were running and waving. We arrived at the gate 8 minutes before the flight departure time also. The flight attendant on the flight from Fayetteville just handed out water and cookies without asking what you wanted. She had coffee and snack mix but didn’t ask anyone, just handed them what they got. Overall I was very disappointed in the flight from Fayetteville, NC to Atlanta and with the gate agents at the Atlanta airport. I usually expect more from delta. They didn’t offer vouchers to make up for the missed connection or offer to pay for a hotel since the next flight out was the next morning."

Pros: "My flight from STX was delayed some 30 minutes. That made a dent in the 57 minutes I had to catch my Delta flight. Naturally we landed at gate A2 and Delta was boarding at Terminal 2 gate B9. Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

Pros: "Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated."

We were in Row 37. I am not sure if we were in a hot seat or if the other passengers experienced the same."

Cons: "For a competitive price charged by almost any other airline for the same distance, there was no lunch on a midday international flight? That is terrible. To make things worse, the entertainment screen was broken. It did not respond to touches. More of an ordeal than entertainment. To top it all, the current flight info (e.g. time at departure & destination, flight duration) was all wrong. Not a pleasant experience."

Pros: "Two Delta agents a kiosk assistance were not aware of the Hurricane Irma policy of waiving baggage fees to my destination. I informed them that the website indicated it would waive baggage fees to certain destinations if checked in at the airport before a certain date. Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."

I had on a sweatshirt and by the end of the flight was sitting on my hands! Couple that with the “I don’t care” attitude of the flight crew, and I was counting the minutes to landing. Definitely not the AA that I’ve given my business to."

Cons: "The flight was delayed more times than I can count, we got a different reason each time. Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

I'm thinking the airline shouldn't book the front seats by the panel as 'better' for the extra price as they were definitely not."

Cons: "American (Alaska was a code share) did not tell us which terminal this flight left from. It was a sattelight terminal which required a long slow bus ride. Carrying luggage up and down stairs. The deplaning experience was such I would avoid the only nonstop to our destination."

Cons: "IFE completely broken, mediocre apology. Sat on ramp 15 min after push. Zero explanation or status update. Typical small pretzel or cookie and soft drink."

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

They Gate checked my bag, and didn't give me a ticket. I even told them that I'd prefer a ticket, in case something goes wrong, and they replied 'oh no worries, it'll be up in baggage claim". I looked him squarely in the eyes abs I said, OK I'll wing it, but I trust you! He said no worries."

Pros: "Small seats, no consideration for disabled travelers. Pretzels suck. One 30 min tv show on 2.5 hour flight. No bathroom for handicap. Cheap airfare is the only reason I fly American. One attendant asked me, with attitude, if I was going to get off the plane...before realizing I can't physically walk. Her face turned white as a ghost when she realized what she had said and how she had said it."

Pros: "My flight was late leaving buffalo ny which caused me to miss my connecting flight in Phl.... Never once was this delay communicated to ONE person sitting at the gate in buffalo. I even asked the attendant in buffalo if the plane was present at 1:10 pm and he responded that it would be landing in ten minutes. We were scheduled to board at 1:16 although I am highly disappointed to have gotten home 2.5 hours later than anticipated...communication is my biggest complaint here."

Cons: "The seats are so very narrow that having extra legroom doesn't really matter - only a child or a very, very thin person will find these seats anywhere near adequate. Food (which went flying or falling into my lap as I tried to eat without elbowing my neighbor) was laughably bad, even the crew said they were embarrassed to be serving it. On that note, the crew did not seem happy with the airline, and agreed that economy on the 788 is one of the worst cabins they fly. Entertainment options were good, but when the person in front of you reclines, so does the screen, so if you want to stay more upright you can't really see the screen well. By far one of the worst economy experiences I have ever had. I will go out of my way to chose alternate routes in the future, even going via MIA to avoid the 788."

After we were done boarding, we sat on the tarmac for almost another full hour and weren't really told why the incoming flight was delayed in the first place. My IFE wasn't working so I couldn't even watch a movie or do anything while we were waiting."

Pros: "No in flight entertainment system. I hate those things. They take up room and lots of times you can't even turn off the screens. Streaming to personal devices is a much better solution."

Cons: "Brussels airport staff would not let me to check in, saying that I need a Canadian visa (I had a transfer in Montreal), even though I am Green Card holder and I don't need a visa for a transfer flight. It took me almost 45 minutes to convince them that I don't need a visa a finally was allowed to check in"

This is the Air Canada."

Cons: "They boarded and the moment everyone was seated, de-borded to change planes, resulting in a 2 hour delay. The crew was inattentive taking and delivering drink orders, which took an astounding length of time after payment, about 1 hour."

Cons: "My one checked bag did not arrive,. And when I reported it, there was no tracking for it. It was stressful because I had one night before I was leaving for a back country trip and the " lost" bag had " no hits" when the bar Cade was scanned. So I spent hours trying to find someone who could assist me. I lost one whole vacation day dealing with the bag issue. Sure wish I could get some compensation."

Pros: "We arrived at our destination safely."
Cons: "Our flight departed from the gate late and then needed to return to the due to a door malfunction. After a 4 hour delay we were on our way. Bathrooms were closed before takeoff but no announcement was made that they would be open during the delay. No beverages were offered during the delay. Not all of the bathrooms were functional during the flight. The entertainment system is available through your iphone, ipad or computer. If you haven't downloaded the app prior to departing you can't use it and you then need to rent an ipad for $10 to watch movies."

Cons: "Flights get cancelled or delayed all the time so that's not what was so upsetting. It was the way we were informed about these delays. The staff were jest rude, making a bad experience even worse. Then they lost my bags, couldn't track them, couldn't tell me where they were. And I was flying out to another country for a tour next day so that was very inconvenient. I won't be flying with this airline again. They don't know what good customer service is."

Pros: "I liked the service. I dont like flying much but the stewdardes made me feel comfortable so it was a good flight"

Pros: "Air Canada worked hard to get people where they needed to be but security was somewhat difficult although understandable"

Pros: "The flight attendants were lovely and the flight itself was fine and comfortable."
Cons: "As there were no screens on the seats, there were limited entertainment options. I was unable to download the Air Canada app before the flight due to very weak airport internet, and then was unable to rent an iPad because only credit cards were accepted: not cash or debit, or even VISA debit cards. As for boarding, the departing gate kept changing and being removed from the screen before the flight; also there was a 30 min boarding delay."

Cons: "Seat comfort not so good. The cabins a bit dated with the seats needing to be tightened."

Cons: "We arrived from Rome at 3:30 - we wouldn't have made our 5:25 flight to Boston if I hadn't contacted an agent 2 times stating we were STILL in the security line"

Pros: "Although I had to walk quite a way to get to my seat, once I got there, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable flight. The food was good, the bathrooms were close and easy to get to, the crew were friendly and helpful."

Pros: "It’s been a while since I have flown United, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the crew on both of my flights were. I flew basic economy and was treated better and had as much leg room as with “upgraded service” from another carrier with an American name. After this experience I’ll go out of my way to book on United. Thanks"

Cons: "The plane was changed to a much smaller plane with no notice. A quarter of the passengers ended up getting bumped off the flight. The gate agents made no announcements or updated passengers on the situation. People's seat numbers on their boarding passes on the app just disappeared. I had booked my flight months in advance to get back at a certain time. I ended up getting back 5 hours later than I had planned and had to wait on stand by for 4 flights before finally getting on one. Overall a bad experience."

She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled and united told us on the phone that all flights were cancelled for the day. I specifically asked on the phone to be moved to an American Airlines flight later that day, and was told that flight would be cancelled. Drove to the airport because I didn't understand how both the flights were cancelled with perfect weather in the departure and destination cities. The people at the airport moved us to the American flight that I was previously told was cancelled. Would have been much easier to do over the phone, but I was lied to on the phone."

Pros: "Due to operations, maintenance, crew arriving late (the excuses kept changing) our flight was 2 hours and 15 minutes delayed! I understand things happen, however, I've flown in Delta and when they had delays they brought complimentary snacks and drinks for us at the gate. United did nothing but give excuses, changing reasons for the delay. The flight was 2 hours late, which would push us from breakfast to lunch yet they provided no extra food! They gave us direct tv instead."
Cons: "Very delayed. Poor compensation. Poor explaination. They just didn't manage the situation well, customer satisfaction should be their first goal and they didn't seem to care. Fortunately for them, we were all a patient good natured group of passengers, but now that I think it over, we WERE mishandled and we should have been more upset"
