Cons: "The landing"
Pros: "Direct flight and good personal service provided by crew."
Cons: "Flight was delayed and overbooked causing further delay at departure gate. Plane is small and cramped."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 3 hours. They didn't tell us it was delayed until 2 hours before the flight, by which time we were already at the airport. They first delayed it 1 1/2 hours and then another 30 minutes every half hour. The airline/crew never even acknowledged the delay or apologized for it."
Cons: "Be on time. Also we sat in first class and it would be nice if the center counsel was smaller giving the passengers more seat room."
Cons: "Weather related, mostly, so not AA’s fault"
Pros: "great trip"
Pros: "The crew was amazing"
Cons: "allow us to choose seats without financial restriction"
Cons: "Very confused as to why I am receiving messages regarding confirming flight and post flight review when I did not purchase this flight. I watched it, did NOT book it. I should not be charged for it."
Pros: "Smooth flight and landing"
Cons: "Paying for upgrade seats that was tight"
Pros: "Staff were friendly and efficient"
Cons: "No snacks because of short trip, so can’t rate properly."
Cons: "small plane"
Cons: "Taxied for two hours, then returned for fuel and discovered an engine problem. Had to change aircraft. No food or entertainment system."
Pros: "Flight was under booked so there was plenty of room."
Cons: "Crew was unexpectedly loud/chatty with one another throughout the flight, even when things were quite and calm they were calling over our heads to one another and laughing loudly. Initially, it's an international flight from Spain and no crew members in my section atleast could speak Spanish. I had to help a passenger who only spoke spanish because the attendant kept repeating an order in english, just getting louder each time."
Pros: "You get what you pay for. I don’t recall the fair but this was a bargain and we were safe."
Cons: "Not enough water served. More snacks please"
Cons: "We are letting too many people with the flu, travel. This in turn is spreading it to other places and getting too many people sick. We need to control this more. I don’t have an option after spending all this money on if I can stay healthy or not, and that is not ok."
Pros: "Landed early"
Cons: "The seats were not as good as the ones on my BA flight to Heathrow and then Rome. Also, cross country flight but no in flight entertainment. Arrived early in PHL and American would not let me move up to an earlier PHL-SFO flight since it was a code share booked with BA. Should not be my fault as when booking it indicated all four of my flights were with BA. Once booked it indicated the return flights were code share with AA. American should have allowed me on the earlier flight. That would have opened a seat on the scheduled flight which had people waiting on standby."
Cons: "There were no available snacks and drinks between meals in a long international flight. In other airlines, they have continous supplies of snacks and drinks at the food area for passengers to enjoy at their leisure."
Pros: "The AA counter agent was very helpful in changing my flight?"
Cons: "No entertainment options"
Cons: "this flight was delayed going both directions."
Pros: "The plane had a wider aisle - much appreciatedz"
Pros: "The flight was a one way to PDX and felt fast and not exhausting coming from LHR. First time flying direct. Great food and snacks the staff took care of us. Bathrooms were cleaned over the trip which was great!"
Cons: "N/A - nothing..."
Cons: "We were rushed onto the plane to sit on the tarmac. After waiting to take off for 45 minutes, we were told that our route had been closed and they were looking into other options. This was a flight from NYC to DC, route is closed? Once we finally got into the air, all was good."
Pros: "Courteous crew"
Cons: "The plane was tiny and old"
Cons: "Flight attendants"
Pros: "Flight from CLT to CDG was excellent surprising amount of room in economy, modern plane with usb power and good IFE. Service was excellent but plane was only half full."
Cons: "Flight from CDG to ORD was awful. Dated 767 that American Airlines should be embarrassed by. No Wifi, IFE was a few screens suspended from above, overhead compartments couldn't fit standard size roller board bag, which makes no sense."
Cons: "Space too tight. Nothing was offered to us, not even a cup of water. Staff not friendly, mean even."
Cons: "see review headline above"
Pros: "The entertainment was excellent! Flight was top notch! A+++ , very friendly people and nice to talk to!"
Cons: "A hippie beside me opened up his homemade fish and garlic hummus! But excellent on American Airlines end!"
Pros: "The AA staff was very friendly. The flight was late due to weather however it did not affect our connection. I believe I paid more more my seat class which proved a power outlet."
Cons: "I really couldn't rate the food or entertainment because there wasn't any."
Pros: "Renovated planes, modern entertainment options that were free, charging by outlets."
Cons: "Overbooked flight, poor resource management, nickel & diming for snacks on a 5hr flight, lounge access (not Priority Pass, charge $60 for a single visit), no room for onboard luggage, safety video fluff"
Pros: "The crew kept us informed as to why we didn''t leave the gate on time; they served beverages and snacks in an efficient manner. Once we got to Dallas we were early, he made up time in the air and the captain informed us that the gate was not ready to receive the plane. We waited about 15 minutes and then we got to the gate."
Pros: "Left Venice on time and arrived in Philadelphia on time. Selection of free movies was good."
Cons: "Food is so awful I wouldn't' feed it to a pig. Did not offer anything other than coffee, tea or water to drink during the 8+ hour flight after the first offering of complementary wine or soda. Seats are cramped as always on US airlines. I would not like to be an overweight person jammed into these seats for so many hours."
Cons: "Power cord plug-ins for cell phone in passenger lounge were limited. Wish standard seating allowed for more width, better way to avoid reclined seat in front."
Cons: "Baggage charge. I always try and fly with southwest if possible no baggage fee and they have an overall better vibe for the flyers"
Pros: "On my return I had my own seat! Not nearly as cramped. Had soda and pretzels. The air magazine was latest issue! The attended was nice."
Cons: "The seats needed to be shampood."
Pros: "The flight are crew were amazing though! Food was surprisingly good as well."
Cons: "The entertainment was kind of bad compared to other international flights I went on. You weren't really able to watch what you wanted and it wasn't the best experience."
Pros: "The cabin crew were friendly and the food was decent."
Cons: "Boarded us onto a plane with a broken engine, deboarded the plane and delayed the flight 4 hours. Then we sat on the tarmac for an hour after landing because they didn't inform the airport that we were in a new, larger plane."
Pros: "My first plane from Ashevile to Charlotte was fine."
Cons: "This plane was a little "scarier" than the other but I believe that it was because it was such a small plane."
Cons: "When I noticed on the itinerary that the layover only gave me 35 minutes I knew it would be a problem. I missed my flight and never got to Pensacola . AA staff were not very Empathetic. It seems to happen often. I'm in a hotel and praying that my flight leaves today."
