Awful. There was an unexpected delay of nearly three hours because there were not enough flight attendants. I understand this is likely due to FAA regulations; but in that case, Delta should coordinate with smaller airports such as RDU to have extra flight attendants on the ground and "on call". In addition, this was the second 2-hour+ delay to Boston on this route in one week.
No food or drink, Not much conversation with crew. They didn't come through to check on people. There were no charging stations or wifi to watch movies. It was like being on a bus in the air.
This flight was originally delayed by ~45 minutes; which is fine. However, there were additional delays due to late offboarding of the prior flight, unclear issues with the boarding process, delays on the tarmac, and exceptionally long taxiing. None of these issues were communicated proactively. Additionally, the flight had exceptionally rough turbulence, which led to a very uncomfortable flight and no traditional beverage service. Again, this is understandable, but it was not communicated up-front by the flight team.
In a world of delays, Delta was on time both ways! Boarding was fast and efficient. Staff was friendly. AND wifi worked.
The WiFi didn't seem as fast as it normally is
The gate area was incredibly short staffed, with one representative manning 4-5 flights, which caused a 3 hr delay in boarding even though the plane was all ready to leave. Other flights also were delayed because of this. The flight crew was awesome and I feel bad for the only gate worker on call, but Delta needs to hire more employees.
It was a good experience except when boarding a female flight attendant did not go out of her way to assist my teenage daughters in finding space for their carry-ons after their compartments were full.
The Delta flight was delayed for maintenance issue. The crew is also delayed and I’ve been there at the same time as I was so it was really outside the hands of crew directly. However, where Delta failed was there was about eight other ways for me to get to my final destination and they did not offer changes beyond the initial one. The flight was delayed five hours when they had to change my connecting flight they had to downgrade my premium class for so far zero compensation and I’m still waiting on the results of a formal complaint. All in all this was the worst experience I’ve had with Delta in quite some time
There is no free Wi-Fi or screens in the seats for this flight. It would be nice if they had actual actual healthy drink options like a flavored sparkling water. The flight was very dark because nobody was sitting on the left side and they didn't open any of the windows. The plane was kind of and had small overhead bins. There was no distinguishable difference between economy and comfort Plus.
Connection from Asheville to NYC was over a hour later to ATL… Though Delta got me a room and meal vouchers still wasted hours of my time getting to be where I needed to be. W.:.
The boarding and fllight were good. The reason for the ok rating was the long walk to get to the transport to finally get to the gate.
This flight was delayed but it worked in my favor because my Atlanta to Dallas flight was delayed.

Flight was canceled. I asked to be rerouted to OKC and then took an Uber.
Flight from Dallas to OKC was good, but my trip was interrupted due to a delayed flight from Austin to DFW, which happens all the time. I frequently miss my connection from DFW and American can never seem to make this work!
No choice of meal in first class. Was the worst meal I’ve ever had in first class.
The flight was fine. All the delays and poor communication and customer service were the worst! We were supposed to arrive in London at 7:10 am. In stead we arrived at 1:30 pm. And now American Airlines refuses to make things right but only sent a canned apology after I contacted customer relations.
The flight was delayed for over four hours due to “maintenance “. Your ground staff made no efforts to avoid my family missing their connecting flight to London. They did not try to reroute them and didn’t even offer meal vouchers without being asked. My daughter, her husband and four children were in the States for our son’s celebration of life service. They experienced rude and unhelpful staff in Asheville. The lack of communication was disgraceful. They missed their connecting flight and the first rebooking. Then the 2nd rebooked flight was delayed by over two hours. They didn’t leave Charlotte until 1:30 AM. Since returning home my granddaughters sleep has been so disrupted that they are overly tired and cry hysterically at bedtime. I have already contacted you regarding compensation but have yet to receive a response. All I’ve received is a canned wrote response. This is not acceptable!!! When my wife and I traveled to England in December on your partner, British Airlines, we were delayed for 4 and one half hours. We missed our connecting train to Leeds and had to pay double. They not only reimbursed our extra train expense, they also refunded half our airfare. And upon our return to the States we were surprised to find that they had upgraded us for free! First off, I never complained so it is not the crews fault. The lady to my left did not respect my seat whatsoever. She was too big to lower the armrest and basically sat on me the entire flight. She was against the window. I was in a middle seat. For future reference, American, please make sure the armrest will lower or get someone a larger seat/2 seats.
When the flight was delayed for almost three hours, notification sent when you are already on the way to the airport, agents on AA counter give you promises which are not real… then any food or entertainment does not make the flight better.
