Cons: "Although my wife and I booked our flight together we did not get to sit together. My wife paid for the $54 upgrade but the only benefit was she could bring a checked bag. We both got middle seats not near each other. I believe she should have gotten a better seat with her upgrade but that was not the case. Normally jet blue is great. I have had them get my family seats together even when we didn’t book together. At that time they surprised me at how customer oriented they were and I gave an excellent rating. This time was very disappointing. We paid for the upgrade but got limited benefits. I am surprised at the difference in customer care in just a few months."

I used to book JetBlue only bexause.tbus is the only airline that offers TV service and but it's time has changed and service has degraded as it seems. I would recommend to fix the TV and or at least put bigger screen. I fly from India to Dubai that is same flight time and they offer same service that they offer in their emrites double floor plane except smaller screen but same function. I am disappointed with the entertainment service and going forward I would not be willing to go with JetBlue unless I don't have any choice. Thanks Neo"

When I called the customer no service line they told me i have get that done at the airport. I got to the air port early and they said you have to get that done at the gate but you can upgrade if you want. When i went to the gate they said you have to wait until 30min before the fight but you can upgrade. These are just shady sales techniques."

Everybody who works for spirit that I encountered today Terrible customer service. They don’t care and made me pay more than I needed to pay for my bags. I tried another counter and she literally did not listen to me. I try to explain the situation she didn’t listen she just wanted my ticket. Then told me what I already knew. Absolutely terrible customer service! Kiwi.com is even worse and cannot help you if your house was on fire kind of thing! Never ever will I ever fly Spirit again or a book with Kiwi.com! At this time there was about 30 or so people behind us to board as there was plenty of time. We were asked to step aside and a employee was trying to figure things out. In the meantime ALL people in line were allowed on plane even though several had problems but were quickly fixed! At last second we were told to board the plane and try to find two seats. Only one was left on flight and we were told they had to leave and sorry but we must exit plane! Worst I have ever been treated by an airline ever in all my years of travel! I did get some money compensation, rented a car and drove 13 hours to Chicago! Awful way to end a vacation!"

Pros: "I am scared of Flying. My son sent me a ticket to spend the First Christmas with his 10 Month old Twins! Although his gift was my Ticket, he still had to pay a substantial fee to check one bag. When I looked at my email from Spirit, I saw that I even had to pay for my Carry-on!! I tried to communicate that to my Son, but he was getting conflicting information from phone calls and Spirit online. Finally, after much angst, He had an agreement that my other Son who spent the days before Christmas with me, would take care of the Baggage fees at the airport when he drove me on his way back to New England, if needed. A substantial fee WAS then needed for the carry-on. Traveling on Christmas, and trying to save money on a flight was my goal when you are being given such a wonderful gift, but it was difficult for me to see the cost go up and op each step along the way, that increased what my sons had to pay on my behalf and the time and communications they had to go through (they are a Doctor and a Professor), in order to do something so nice for me! It is great that Spirit has low fees, but carry-on fees outside of the ticket price are particularly troubling and not being able to have water or my trusted Diet Coke on a flight from LA to MD on a Red Eye without paying for it is extreme! Your Pilots and staff along the way were GREAT and Helpful I have flown many, many times here and abroad, but I have never seen 4 sets of Pilots any better or more competent on take-offs and landings than your Pilots! They have been trained well. I have to go on another trip to OR in July for a special event. I live on a fixed income, and would fly Spirit again based on my experience."

And the list goes on, bottom line not worth the hassle of dealing with this airline."
