Pros: Great to be able to check in bags at the CAT railway station in the morning. Cabin crew were excellent- very friendly and helpful and did two drinks services. Austrian’s cabin crew sets them apart on European routes.
Pros: It was better with the earache, plane felt cleaner, the crew was more friendly and attentive. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight.
Cons: The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like.
Pros: The Austrian Airlines crew was great, very courteous, very professional and friendly. The food service was also excellent.
Cons: My complaints go to something not directly linked to the flight crew. 1. When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back.

Cons: The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze.

Cons: Flight was overbooked, so a few delays (as they were asking if anyone would layover to release a seat) and they were being very strict on the one bag per traveller, but that’s fair enough considering it was busy.
Cons: The plane was HUGE, too big. With such a big plane the crowd formed by the gate waiting to board was unmanageable. Also the giant plane felt like it was hard to maneuver during take off and landing. I would very much prefer a smaller plane. The touch screen in front of me was not always responding when I tried to tap the screen. The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds.

Cons: Lufthansa’s/Austrian Airlines’s idea of a ‘snack’ is a pathetic little bag of sugar and chemicals that no one should have to be offered, even if it comes for free. Hugely disappointed. Flight attendants not attentive enough, and it took forever for the flight attendant to come after I’ve pressed the call button. Overall impression: meh! First time flying Austrian, but next time I’ll probably book with their competitors if prices are similar.

Cons: Out luggage did not make it to Houston from Frankfurt. We were late from Vienna but Lufthansa held the plane and extra 30 minutes in Frankfurt so that the baggage could make it from the feeder flights and it still didn't. We were promissed out luggage on Sunday evening. No one called and as of Monday morning no news.

Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall.

One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience.

LHR-VIE was late; we ran and arrived in time catch VIE-KSC before it left, but Austrian Air would not allow us to board, despite that the other part of our travel party was already on the plane and alerted both gate staff and on-board staff we were coming and wee had to play a show that night with Arch Enemy. We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry
Cons: I specifically selected three seats for my Wife and two children ages 7 and 5. I did not fly back with them and at check in the three seats were confirmed on a boarding pass printed at their departure location. Upon checking in on the connecting flight in Vienna, the seat assignment had been completely disregarded and three seats located 10+ aisles apart were given to a family traveling together??????? This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings.

Pros: In general, I like the on board food of Austrian and especially in regard of Do&Co catering from Vienna Airport. Staff was not to trying this time but service was still okay.
Cons: The Senator Lounge at Vienna Airport is very poor, food selection is very limited and it is obvious that the focus is on cost saving. Another disadvantage is that the lounge only opens at 5.30am in the morning but first flight already leave Vienna around 6am. Mine was at 7.05am which meant that I just arrived when the lounge opened and I had to wait in a long cue. Boarding was due to the limited space in front of the gate a mess, priority boarding was announced but I was not made sure that priority passengers board first. The seats on board are for business to small and there is not even space to hag up the coat.
Pros: Our seats 35 A & C were comfortable as they were to the back of the plane where it narrows to two seats per side row. Seemed like extra leg room. Crew was very friendly and helpful. Flight was smooth and uneventful. Good movie choices. Bathroom was clean and nearby. Plane seemed newer Boeing model. The City Airport Transport (CAT) train from the Vienna airport to city center was fantastic. We were able to check our luggage and get boarding passes where we boarded the CAT at the metro station and did not have to wait in line at the airport...wonderful system!
Cons: At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce.

Cons: We paid to pre-book our seats and when we got on the plane they had been given away. We heard several different reasons, none of which made is feel better about the two middle seats we were told we had no choice but to take, while people who had NOT prepaid sat in our aisle seat. It was offensive to be forced to pay to select our seats in advance on a major international airline in the first place, and then to not have those honored just made it worse.

Cons: We had to stand around for a long time waiting for a bus to take us to the plane. The bus was horribly crowded. Then we arrived at the plane and had to walk up the stairs to get on. There was no food served---just a cracker and some juice or water. After we arrived in Paris we waited a long time for the baggage to arrive.

Cons: Unfortunately the food was poor quality. You should pay attention to people who eat kosher and have an option available. Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation.

Pros: So I had to fly to Munich, and rather than flying direct on terrible United, I took a connecting flight via Vienna. Flight was full yet still departed on time and even arrived early. The seat was comfortable and flight went very smoothly. Food served on board was perfectly edible. Disembarking also went without problems. The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism.
Cons: Nothing. I will make a point of trying to fly via Vienna in the future. Airport is very pleasant and well run.
Cons: It took us 2 tries to get there due to weather and they had us waiting in the airport for 12 hours in the middle of the night. We first flew to Lviv and then they turned the plane around and came back as we were landing. I appreciate that they did this for safety reasons. When we got back however at 2:30am, they did not provide us with a hotel and just gave us blankets and pillows to sleep in the airport. They also offered us only a piece of bread with ham and cheese and a coffee for the next 12 hours until the new flight left. Not a pleasant experience.

Cons: Crew was not friendly at all. Amenities kit was burlap sac with nothing worth keeping or using -- even the eye covers. Business class bathrooms had nothing to offer in the areas of hand/face creams. All there was were hand wipes and air freshener. (OMG! SERIOUSLY!?); a big difference from their partners (i.e. Swiss and Lufthansa). Crew was not present -- not only were they very unfriendly they were no where to be found. TV/video didn't work properly -- kept fast forwarding or changing channels on its own. The crew of course, was not concerned.
Pros: When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!

Cons: Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?

Pros: Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago.

Pros: Most of the crew tired especially hard to keep everyone comfortable and safe. The food was absolutely amazing.
Cons: Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times.

Cons: The fact that you cheapskates don't allow credit or refund is downright usury. I didn't take that flight because of medical issues that caused me to cancel my trip 2 weeks in advance. I pleaded with you to be able to take a credit, to no avail. You lost a customer.
Pros: The food, beverages and choices of movies, entertainment There was a medical emergency that caused the flight to land in Canada. This was handled very professionally - I hope the passenger ended up getting the care needed and is doing well.
Pros: The crew worked hard, but the food was below the French standards.
Cons: The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours and the passengers spent this time in the cabin without a/c.
Cons: Flight was delayed, seated in the last row and non adjustable seating, so very little leg room. Dis-enbarkment was very slow.
Pros: Very good male crew member. Pilot genuinely apologetic for the delay.
Cons: After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it.

Cons: CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong.

Cons: Booked assistance and got dumped at the gate 3hrs before departure, no English spoken and didn't even ask if my mum needed the bathroom or if we wanted to do some shopping. Just in a rush to get rid of us. Flying only KLM from now.

Cons: Walked all over the terminal looking for signage for Croatia Airlines. Information services sent me to the right location, but it was marked Air France. I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!
Pros: All crew I interacted with was great, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good.

Pros: Seats were okay, even with an upgrade, still tight and I'm only 5'3". Drinks and snacks were served so plan ahead for food to Hawaii. Otherwise, I feel like there staff was great and doing their best to make everyone safe and respected.

Pros: I was very appreciative that the cabin crew went through the cabin prior to take off to check that everyone was wearing a mask properly (covering mouth AND nose). I flew United a few weeks ago and had to politely ask the person next to me both on return and departing flight to make sure the mask covered thier nose. A lot of people in the cabin weren't wearing masks properly and the crew didn't seem to care.
Pros: Crew was great. Plane felt good and clean.
Cons: My flight from Gainesville to Charlotte, we had to deplane down plane steps. I was told we would have jetway every flight. I have had hip replacement and steep steps very uncomfortable. Unable to deplane down them with both purse and small carryon. Someone always has to help me carry my carryon plus theirs as there is no provision for help from the airline. American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future.
Pros: Nice attendants was the only thing good about this flight
Cons: Flight was very late causing problems for connection. Forced to check carryon due to poor storage. Seat instruction were in Spanish. Magazine was in Spanish. This is America and can’t it be in English.
Cons: Employees I understand that sometimes they see a lot of people and it can get overwhelming with the job but giving good attitude it’s a most.

Cons: The flight was delayed initially because of plane late arrival then rerouting and then delayed and cancelled. Spent the night on the floor with no offers for food or beverages or at least offering vouchers for delays not related to weather. Tried to lie and say it was weather related.

Cons: AA did not update the flight status. My inbound flight was delayed due to weather but AA kept reporting the connecting flight as on time. I ended up making the connection with time to spare. If AA had reported the delayed departure I would have stopped for food. My bag did not make the connection.
Pros: I have never experienced as smooth a landing on both legs of the trip. I’ve never flown American before and in comparison to other air lines I think they must have the most experienced pilots. Everything else was equal in quality to other US airlines I’ve flown, the usual stuff on long distance flights - but I felt the staff were a notch above the others as regards friendliness and helpfulness. I had a very smooth trip, no delays or problems. I will fly with them again.

Cons: Missed connection due to AA gate agent not holding for a couple of minutes for connecting passengers. Also was given incorrect connnecting gate number. Resulted in extra flight and 5 more hours of travel in overnight trip. Also had maintenance delay on earlier AA flight.
Pros: American Airlines was fantastic. ALL personnel were professional yet friendly. They will be my airline of choice in the future.

Pros: It was the night before Thanksgiving and I was really impressed at how smoothly everything went. The crew even had little travel passports for kids and flyer wings (the old school pins, not the stickers). We took off a little late but landed on time, and luggage was out immediately.

Cons: There was no inflight entertainment at all. Your only option is to purchase WiFi so that you can view entertainment on your phone or other electronic device. For a plane that cannot offer inflight entertainment, the WiFi should be free.

Ended up spending the night in a cold-assed airport with minimal comfort. I was already confirmed on this flight and AA knew, or should've known, that I was enroute. Not pleased at all.

Kayak said it is British Airways fault and of course BA stated it was Kayak's fault. I donkt think i will be using Kayak anymore, becuase of the way this matter was dealt. Boarding was a pain had a three year old also had to pay extra 50 dollars for my baggage. Typical air Canada nonsense. Would not use them again.

Cons: Checked carry on from Montreal to RDU. Bag was never entered in the system (customer service at Toronto stop could not find record for the claim tag we were given), which caused a problem with customs. Bag did arrive with rest of luggage at destination, however.

Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Mad dash thru Monteal airport to make connection after 30 minute delay. Rep just before customs had a bad scanner and couldn't scan my boarding pass on my phone. Sent me back to find an Air Canada rep in customer service. That rep's scanner worked, and then they had a five minute discussion about it. Had to go back thru passenger scanning. Flight's gate was changed. Finally got to gate, flight was delayed, no updated information. Another 30 minute wait on the tarmac. Flight attendant in business class didn't do a cabin check before take off, man next to me continued phone convo during taxi-to-take-off whilst two gentlemen in front of me had their seats back for take-off. Bad service.

Cons: No personal tv on an international flight. The tickets were pretty expensive, I would have expected a personal tv instead of having to use my cell phone- especially with spotty wifi. Chairs weren't very comfortable and the food was so so.

Cons: You really need to make those seats somewhat more comfortable. I'm an average sized person I think, 5'6" and 150 lbs, but I found the seats very hard and generally small. Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please top charging for potato chips!

I was first class but my friend was economy and luckily had her own iPad or would not have been able to use anything , that being said the movies for her were still not free . The food was good as well and their regular planes from Europe are very large and beautiful
Cons: Worst experiences I've had with customer service . The flight crew were fine but all ground service appeared overwhelmed and unable to assist customers . I had a flight to Athens that was in final boarding my friend still has not arrived the first person I asked said she didn't have time to look if she was still on the flight , the second told me it was private info and finally a 3rd let me know she had been rerouted and would arrive 8 hours after me in Athens and that her bag though made my flight . She did last minute make it via running to our plane but in that time they had given her seat away, she had to prove that she paid did and deserved a flight . The way home from Athens all of my aid Canada flights were delayed and late . I had a 3.5 hour layover in Seattle to switch carriers to make it home , my flight out of Vancouver was 2.5 hours delayed that they continually said was only another 10 minutes , versus being upfront that it was severely delayed . Long story worst experience I've had .
Cons: Have you heard of an International flight without entertainment? That's just the surface. Our flight from Athens to Toronto was delayed 4hrs causing us to miss our connection to NYC. When customer service was called for assistance to get another flight, we found there were no flights out after 8 pm. I appreciate the vouchers for food and hotel. But after 35hr of traveling to NYC we come to find that our luggage was left in Toronto. Traveling with Air Canada was a series of poor customer care and negligence. I was very disappointed.
Pros: Seat, pillow and blanket were clean. Flight arrived on time, luggage was intact and there were no issues boarding or de-boarding.
Cons: Booked 4 months in advance - flew solo. Only window seat left was at the very back, near where the crew prepared everything. The entire flight was spent listening to them prepare meals, discuss their trip itinerary, shifts and how Air Canada treats them, as employees, so poorly. The crew were very short with most passengers and it seemed over staffed.

Pros: Clean environment and temperature was pretty constant and comfortable. Staff helpful. The entertainment equipment worked well. This was not the case for for a number of passengers on another carrier's long flight within the past 9 months.
Cons: There was a nice balance of food, beverages and snacks. However, the food quality was not the same as my previous flight. One meal included mashed potatoes and potato salad and I feel a green salad would have been a better balance. Taste was lacking a bit. Movie choices felt limited. This was "the" trip with the noisy, screaming 2yo sitting directly in front of me. I feel for the child and parents and feel some of the issue was the parent. Crew seemed to mostly ignore the situation. I'm a grandma so usually patient but others around me we clearly annoyed.

Cons: I was put in overbooking, and was concerned about not being able to get on the flight. Everything worked out fine in the end, but still did not appreciate this. Given the risk of not being able to board, I will likely not use this airline in the future.

Cons: We were delayed 95 minutes due to repairs. Consequently when we arrived in San Francisco we had to sit on the tarmack for 15 minutes waiting for a gate to open up.
