The constant droning on and on about masks is tiring. STOP!

There was a lady pilot. She helped an older lady get on and off the plane and she helped me with my crabby children get off the plane. It meant the world to me. One of the flight attendants was berating a family in front of me about the 2 year old child’s inability/willingness to wear a mask. I am all for wearing masks, but a little child who doesn’t understand why it’s important to wear a mask and is melting down - is it really that important. I understand the need to follow policy’s.

I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test.

I loved the hospitality of the crew, they were a great crew. What I didn’t like was how the airport I was going to be in for a layover closed down due to it raining in the area. I missed my connecting flight, and got put on a flight that departed 8 hours from the time I arrived to the airport. I also have no news on where my luggage is.

1/2 late for no reason

Flight attendants were super chill and the flight was comfortable. They provide passengers with lots of bottles of water (two or more even); yay for hydration!

The flight back from Cabo was excellent however the flight from LAX was terrible. I was happy by accident to get to LAX 4 hours,early. It took almost all 4 hours. I dont think I will fly with Delta out of LAX anytime soon.

Pros: "The last time we flew Delta, we were underwhelmed. Our flight was delayed several hours and there was nothing exceptional about it when it did finally leave. That was 5 years ago, and there's been a lot of changes. There I'd now in-flight entertainment, reasonably comfortable seats, and everything was on time."

Pros: "Our Delta plane was brand spanking new. Everything worked and the inflight entertainment system was fantastic with many movies to choose from, free headphones, games, tv shows, etc. The crew was polite and the seating at least as comfortable as expected for a 4 hour flight."
Cons: "The restrooms in the rear of the plane were remarkably small, even by airline standards. I'm a somewhat larger person and I fit, but I know a lot of people who would literally not be able to fit on the toilet without touching both of the sidewalls or risk getting stuck in there. The boarding process at San Jose Del Cabo was the most ridiculous setup I've ever experienced. There were numerous flights boarding out of the same gates and at least 3 or 4 lines for different destinations forming on a ramp just outside the gates. There were guys with signs trying to herd people into the correct lines and then loading the people onto buses which took you out to the planes. The planes were loading from both the front and rear doors and people were getting tangled up inside because of the haphazard loading process. Very easy for a person to end up on an incorrect plane!!"
Cons: "The Cancun airport provides a terrible experience for transferring between flights, especially if you need to change from the international terminal to a domestic terminal or vice-versa. There is no way to get between terminals inside security and the free shuttle is slow and overcrowded. Meanwhile, one is forced to run a gauntlet of taxi and shuttle drivers trying to get you to pay them exorbitant fees to drive you to your terminal. Once you finally arrive you discover that there is no dedicated baggage recheck for an international arrival. Just don't buy a ticket that transfers in CUN."

Cons: "Late pickup, then no gate at stopover causing is to miss our flight as we sat on the tarmac. Got on next flight, 5 hours later, the literal last row of the plane right in front of the bathroom, you know, those seats that don't recline? Travelling with a cranky two year old, made pains to select seats for maximum child comfort and it all flew out the window. Arrived at destination and sat, again, waiting for a gate. Signed up for sky miles previously based on good experiences, but this was one lane thing after another. Advice? Don't act like you're doing me a favor when asking people to check bags cause then it's "free"."
Cons: "After waiting patiently through a 3 hour delay we were inbound to Minneapolis. We were set to arrive at 9:45 pm and there were multiple 10 pm connections. Delta flew into the furthest gate away, didn't communicate with the connecting flights to give it 5 more minutes and didn't have transportation waiting to bring us top our connections. After ruining across the entire length of the MSP concourse I arrived at 9:58 only to be told they already left. Worst communication I've ever seen. Delta should be ashamed."

More importantly, the fact that I checked-in with seat 14 and ended-up, seemingly randomly, in seat 28 (the back of the plane) when I had SPECIFICALLY selected a seat in the FRONT section of the plane. That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."
Pros: "My first and last time flying Delta! Everything that could have went wrong, did in fact go wrong. We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

An announcement was made that in Atlanta which is Delta hub, there were no flight attendants for the flight so we had to wait for another crew to fly in. That's just unporfessiknal. To make matters worse, the gate agents didn't make announcements even if just to say we know this isn't good and we will update you asap even if just to tell you we are still waiting on word. Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."

Cons: "I showed up 2 hrs before the flight. Was told the flight from Toronto to Minn was delayed 30 minutes and go stand in line to speak to an agent. There were approx 20 in line yet only 2 gate agents at 4:30pm. One of the gate agents kept helping the Premium members and bypassing the standard line. The other agent was in a coma as his average person at counter was 10 min. Finally get to counter and they hand me a boarding pass going via Salt Lake in 30 minutes. But has a 3 hrs layover in SL. I then get to US Custom check for US residents re-entering and the line was a good 30 minute wait. You would think the Delta folks would have accounted for that line. I had to ask everyone in front of them if I could skip in front as the plane was now departing in 10 min. I had to then run on a bum knee and was the last to board. The agent at gate was saying we were calling your name but did they think I could have been stuck in customs? On that short of a window they should have walked me through Customs to make sure I got on a flight they wanted me to take versus my scheduled flight."

Not being allowed on a flight after being bumped several times because only 1st class seats were available . Sprinting through the airport with all luggage only to be told I couldon't not board even though the flight did not leave for 5 more minutes"

Cons: "MSP baggage service was probably the longest delay I have ever experienced w Delta~40 minutes. (Overshadows the ahead of time arrival). Also, I had an oversize item-ski bag-which for some reason they did not deliver through the designated "oversize baggage" door but instead put out against the wall through a side door well down the terminal from the designated door. I might still be standing there except my traveling companion walked down that way and found it."
Cons: "I chose my seats when I purchased tickets thru Expedia. Then for some reason Delta wouldn't allow me to keep my seats and I had to have them assigned at boarding. Why? What causes this? I was stuck in the back of the small jet from Minneapolis to Cwa when there were a few open seats in the middle. Disappointed. I won't be choosing Delta in the future!"

Cons: "Well, you could have felt that when there is an unprecedented pandemic illness and federal guidance against travel that you don't doubly penalize customers who (1) cannot travel due to the extraordinary public health crisis of COVID 19 and, (2) are devastated that he cannot celebrate his best friend's 40th birthday despite being the thing he looked forward to for months and would love to use a travel voucher in the future when this whole thing eventually blows over. Imagine what your company could gain by being good."

Cons: "There was no kiosk, no one working until 6:30 pm, the employees were rude, tossed our bags carelessly, condescending, nonexistent email communication when trying to precheck and make sure we were set up, the girl making announcements kept messing up and getting mad at herself and stopping her announcement so it was hard to keep track of who was boarding. The seats were incredibly tight - OH and it was ridiculous that after purchasing tickets they then hit you with additional fees - like you have to PAY to pick a seat?! And then if you want to bring a carry on it costs the same as a checked bag?! Nickle and diming at its finest. All of the passengers we talked to from our flight all said the same thing. We will never fly Sun Country again."
Pros: "I’m not sure what I missed when I booked our tickets a couple months ago, we never got email or text reminder for check in. I thought they may just not have online check in option for certain routes. Then we found out people from same flight did get reminder. My husband and I both have globe entry. They did it right when we flew out. On the way back, there was no TSA sign on my boarding pass, so I was redirected to regular line. The plane wasn’t full on the returned flight, yet they assigned seats indifferent rows and way back of plane. I notice there were some empty seats in the front and middle of plane, they packed a lot of people in the back and separated people who traveled together but not paid and selected seats. Is it policy of Sun Country airline? Last time we took Sun Country, they didn’t assigned seats accurately although we paid fee for selected seats. After sending in complain, they did refund the selected fee for my husband. Hope they would see this and improve their ticketing."

Cons: "My husband is still in Boston because he was not allowed to check in. We tried all morning to check in and we kept getting an error message. I then tried calling and sat on hold for 45 minutes before I was disconnected!! I figured we were close to the airport so what’s the point. We dropped off our rental and my husband realized his cell phone was still in the car, he went back for it. Myself and the other couple checked in and went to the gate. By the time my husband got back to check in, he wasn’t allowed since it was less than 45 minutes before take off! The gate agent told me the flight was over sold and he wouldn’t get a seat anyways. The agents could have cared less. Not accommodating what so ever. Now he sits and waits hoping to fly out at 9 pm, it’s not a guarantee. So now here we are home and he’s not. Very frustrating. No one really seems like they want to help."
Cons: "On July 7th, I was flying from JFK to MSP and then from MSP to PDX. Somewhere on the way, Sun Country Airlines lost my bag and they don't seem to have any idea where it might be. I was forced to spend my entire vacation without my bag. It's been 16 days, we called the baggage services office several times, wrote e-mails, even talked to someone in person in the MSP office and yet nobody's able to help. All we got were promises for a call back about the status of the claim, but nobody ever calls or responds to e-mails."

Cons: "I was so upset by all the surprise fees involved. I felt completely scammed and taken advantage of. I have flown sun country many times and had no complaints but this will be the last after pricing changes. First in order to check in we had to pay $11 to reserve a seat- that should be a given when you pay hundreds for a ticket. Then the luggage fees were $20 for a checked bag and $30 for a carry on!!! It pretty much forced us to check a bag to save the money, and then they lost our bag. It was a direct flight, not sure how that happens. And the last and worst fee is traveling with a pet, they charged $199 to bring my 5lb dog on board. Nobody even saw her or checked for her ticket, what on earth is the $199 for when the dog fits in a bag under the seat in front of me. I have had to spend $120 before but an average fee is $60. I would have never brought my dog had I known it would cost $400 round trip. I’m so upset and will never fly sun country again."

Cons: "Crew members were nowhere to be found; couldn't even flag one down to get a cup of water. The sweet lady in front of me,, thought English was her second language, had a crew member raise his voice to her to tell her to sit down, this after 30 + minutes of her looking to and for to get someone to just get her a cup of water so she could take her medicine. I suppose she should've pushed the attendant button but with English was her second language she must not have known this procedure? I asked for a soda and once he brought me the disgustingly warm soda with cup of ice I had to hold it on my lap the whole time because my tray table was broken. Def could tell that my once-favorite airline has switched ownership. I know changes have to be made in this day and age but it was really gone downhill. I gave you a 5-star Yelp and 5 Star Trip Advisor last year and have talked you up to so many people; sure wish I could do that again. :("

Cons: "I booked with Sun Country because rates were significantly cheaper than with Alaska and my priority was to book a nonstop flight. What they don't tell you when booking, is all of the fees associated with your flight that you pay AFTER booking. Baggage Fees: Sun Country doesn't allow you to take more than a personal item on the plane without a fee. It's $20 to check a bag (which you pretty much have to do, as their carry on bag dimensions are smaller than the average roll-a-board bag), and $30 if you want to carry a bag on. Per person. So there's $80 gone for my fiance and I, round trip. Seat Fees: Yes, you heard me right - then you have to PAY FOR YOUR SEAT. I'm sorry - what did I pay for when I purchase my ticket?? The front of the coach cabin starts at $25 per seat (including exit rows), $20, $11 towards the middle, and $2 at the back of the plane. Ok, so apparently if you check in online, you have to select a seat and you have to pre-pay for bags. Ok, felt like I was stiff armed here. The fiance and I decided to go with the $2 seats - can't be that bad, right? Boarding and flight crew were lovely - no complaints here. The plane itself, and the additional costs associated in-air...another story. We were going to a wedding, so he had his suit - the flight attendant let us know the plane didn't have a closet (wait, what?!) so we had to lay it down in one of the overhead bins. Don't worry folks - the bins were next to empty across the entire plan (again, wait, what?!) because of course no one wanted to have to pay $10 more to carry on a smaller bag than it would cost them to check a NORMAL bag. One of the two bathrooms was working, and the entire back of the plane smelled like feces was being recycled through the air system. No wonder these were $2 seats. The aisle was full of people standing the whole flight because the plane only had one working restroom. Entertainment? Hope your phone is charged - the planes are old and don't have outlets. The options for 'entertainment' offered for free on larger carriers like Alaska, are $15 per device on Sun Country - so let's say that's another $60 round trip if we each wanted a 'normal' flight amenity. TOTAL - we're now looking at $144 of charges I would never have imagined ON TOP of the fees I had paid when booking. Next time, I'll go with Alaska - I know what to expect, and know there are no real hidden charges anywhere. At that rate, the cost isn't that different either."

Cons: "I came before 50min to boarding and they didn’t allow us to board the flight.. the staff said they have closed the gate .we can schedule u for next day flight.. not even next flight.. next day.. what the hell! What had to pay extra 266$ for hotel reservations.. we already paid 1152$ for the air ticket before.... overall it was a bad first experience with sun country airline...I will never recommend to my family and friend in future."

Cons: "No Known Traveler # did not transfer to boarding pass; had to go through regular security instead of TSA Pre. Plane was changed; Got different seat assignment which I paid for. At online check-in I was forced to buy a seat. There was no option to get an assigned seat from Sun Country. After this, plane was changed and my window seat became a center seat. Got zone 5 at check-in even though I checked in within a couple of minutes beginning the 24 hour window. Very unpleasant travel experience."

Cons: "The seats were assigned at random and virtually no one got to sit with the people they were traveling with. We asked for help with this situation, but I really do not think the flight crew or check-in tried much to remedy. When on the plane the guy next to me was traveling with his family and they were all in separate seats on the plane, including his 8 year old boy, who was crying about it... it was a 5-6 hour flight. The other person next to me was not sitting with his wife, neither was I, it was such a scattered mess, it would've been better to let people just first come first serve their seats."
Pros: "Our first flight was canceled due to snowstorm. Once we were rebooked and ready both flights were great! That’s why we choose Sun Country!!!"
Cons: "During a severe snowstorm Sun Country would not make the call to cancel our flight! Almost everything was canceled at 1pm when they shut down the airport...but our flight and 2 other Sun Country flights. So we had to fight the storm to get there in unsafe conditions!!!! As we watched the storm get worse, we actually had to board the plane! Then we had to deboard when the airport shut down again.. I felt very unsafe! By the time they finally canceled at 5:30 we were barely able to get the last cab from the airport. Sun Country put us in a dangerous situation to save a few dollars by not canceling the flight!! I was a flight attendant for Sun Country for a short time and thought I had seen a lot, but this was a very poor judgement call!!"
Pros: "I always love to fly Sun Country. In flight everything has always been awesome."
Cons: "I went to the counter in Denver to ask the gate agent where my seat was (middle or aisle) and if I could get it moved. The agent said he would help me once he was done setting up. I sat there for 15-20 minutes while he moved the ropes around (for the line), set up his mouse, found a mouse pad and set that up, found signs to put up at the desk and made sure they were in the right spot. He was on the computer for a good 5 minutes writing notes on a paper. I waited patiently, but was getting really annoyed that he couldn't look up my seat quick and then go back to setting his desk up. Finally, he took my ticket, did not apologize for my wait or thanked me for being patient, and just said he had no seats. I waited 20-minutes, which then I didn't have time to eat before we boarded the plane. I was extremely disappointed in him telling me he'd help, did not communicate that I needed to wait for him for that long and then wasn't nice enough to thank me for waiting. Incredibly disappointed in this service."
Cons: "We boarded the plane and were all settled in when they discovered an issue with the wing. We all deplaned one hour after we were supposed to take off and got in lines to be re-booked on another flight the next day (10am, not an option for us). Luckily, my partner found a delta flight going out that night so we booked the flight while waiting in the sun country line and ran, just barely making it."

Cons: "I don't like that they board randomly, starting from the back of the plane.. Most people book their seat knowing that they know will board first. The seats were uncomfortable on this flight, the back of the seat was at a weird angle and made noise when you adjusted it. seemed like an older plane. Kid behind me kept kicking and pushing her legs on the back of my seat, slamming the tray up and down, talking in a loud high pitched voice... mother next to her did nothing. Flight attendant told the kid once, to back off my seat with her legs... kid kept it up. made for an unpleasant flight."
Pros: "My bag was a couple pounds overweight, but the woman at check-in gave me the opportunity to move things around to make sure my bag was under the 50 pound limit. There was NO WAY I was paying an extra $50 because my bag was a couple pounds over the limit. I was so flustered after moving things between my bags that I walked away after getting my boarding pass and forgot to pay for my baggage. I went back and apologized, and the woman at check-in was very understanding and polite. Boarding the plane was very quick and there were no issues. I was seated next to 2 unaccompanied minors and the flight crew took very good care of them, which was a relief to me."
Cons: "I tried to check-in online the day before my flight and it said that all seats were already booked unless I wanted to pay extra to be in the preferred section or in the exit row. When I got to the airport, I was not allowed to choose my seat and ended up in the very last row on the aisle, when I had already requested a window seat online. Throughout the entire flight, people (including the flight crew) were bumping into me and my seat or using my seat as an arm rail while waiting for the bathroom. Cons: "This was a red eye flight and the attendant was the loudest on flight. Constantly walking about and talking loud. Then just when the pilot indicated that we would be making initial descent - I quick got up to go to the bathroom and the attendant followed me, knocked on door and said I couldnt use the bathroom because we were less than 10,000 feet. Then about two minutes later, I hear a toilet flush and turn around and the same attendant who tells me that I cant use the restroom - comes out of bathroom door! She had long brown hair and glasses. So its ok for her to use bathroom but not me? And we didnt even land for another ten minutes!"

Waiting an hour later to announce we needed a new plane. Finally leaving two hours past schedule. Arriving to Minneapolis late and missing my connection. Being told to go back to ticketing and they new what was he opening yet they had no idea. Not getting a refund for my checked bag. Having to beg for a morning flight. Behind transferred to a different airline all together. Waiting for luggage that had already been in the baggage claim office for over an hour but no one had said anything. Worst airline ever. No wifi. Flight attendants were rude. Asked for a seat belt extender three times and was only given one when the plane was about to lift off. You're reading that correctly, the plane was moving and I still did not have a seat belt on. Worst airline ever."
Pros: "This was my first trip using Sun Country and the departure and return flights were direct. I would use this airline again. I like their process for boarding flights. The flight staff were kind and courteous. We took off and landed safely (HUGE PLUS)! At the gate, I sat near the counter and saw how the gate staff treated customers. It was evident they cared about their job and the customers they serve. There was a minor issue when 1 of 2 wheelchairs made it to the gate. They worked hard to track down an additional wheelchair for a customer getting off a flight. They treated customers with questions and requested seat reassignments kindly and were clear and composed in their communication."

I am disappointed in Sun Country as they did not relay the information that I purchase the flight from Delta that lands that same time. I am disappointed that I was not texted with any update as my email and phone number. I am sad because this was a day I lost wiith my family that I have not seen for years. This is time lost that cannot be returned."

Pros: "We got a good deal from Frontier Airlines, and decided to try them out. I can say never will I do that again. Our flight was cancelled and they were awful to deal with, leaving us stranded in Orlando. I booked a flight with Sun Country and everything went smoothly with Sun Country. I even was interviewed by the news and told them that we were happy to be with Sun Country- so hopefully that gained you some more business. The crew at the ticket desk, the pilot, and all the flight staff was wonderful. They made an awful day so much better. I am very happy that we were able to find a flight back to Minneapolis with Sun Country. We will for sure fly Sun Country from now on."

Cons: "Everyone knows that traveling with a child is tough, but most of us have to do it. All the passengers were very empathetic and trying to help me entertain my child and the flight attendants on both flights to and from were so rude and judgmental with me. They made a tough flight so much more emotionally draining. They gave me looks, as I was walking my child (the only thing that made him happy) they'd say "Where's your seat??" and make us go back to our seat whenever we were up trying to get him to calm down. No turbulence or anything. It was a nightmare! I've used Delta in the past and they were so much more accommodating and helpful."

The guy at the airport said they had a system failure the previous night - no info on the site though, so we've lost 45 minutes retrying check in online. The plane itself was definetely not renovated for quite some time (the interior). Not too comfy seats, but had worse. Boarding was a bit unusual - they're splitting the passengeres to maaaaaany groups - military, no carry-on luggage, disabled, with kids, with carry on to put under the plane, first class and finally the regulars... Not sure if that actually speeds up the process, seems officious.."

Cons: "The staff and crew were rude from the minute I checked in to the minute I deplaned. The woman at the check-in counter was upset that her printer was malfunctioning and instead of apologizing to the guests being delayed from boarding their flight, she rolled her eyes and grunted at them all. I went out of my way to pack a carry-on sized bag for a week long business trip and was *forced* (not asked) to check it in because the flight was full. The woman at the gate couldn't have been more rude about inconveniencing me and making me late for my first meeting of the week (due to waiting for my checked bag at the wrong carousel--which the crew directed me to). The second leg of the flight, from Minneapolis to LA, was delayed, and my seat/flotation device on that plane kept detached while I slept. Just a nightmare start to finish, and I will never fly Sun Countey again."

Cons: "Over an hour flight delay due to defective equipment on the aircraft caused me to miss my connecting flight. Not unusual and understood that these things happen they assured connecting passengers they were working on rescheduling tickets at the next airport. When we arrived things went a little haywire as the majority of passengers had connecting flights and we all had to wait as we explained the situation to the attendants and they made phone calls to get flights rescheduled. There were no flights to Denver with Sun Country that day so they transferred me to Southwest. Again, still trying to be understanding but at this point Southwest put me on another connecting flight to Chicago that didn't leave for over another hour and a half. Then I would finally be able to get a flight into Denver another hour after that flight landed and transferring planes. The fun didn't stop there either, my heart dropped when we had to de-plane the flight to Denver from Chicago because there was a problem with the weather equipment. I was so afraid that the nightmare wouldn't end, I was exhausted from being at the airport so early and having to transfer planes/airports so many times. Thankfully Southwest had another plane the same size that we we boarded within a reasonable amount of time. Whether it's just bad luck or Sun Country could be doing a lot of things differently, I have to say, I will not be flying with them again."

I TOLD THEM I CALLED LAST NIGHT TO CHOOSE MY SEAT I HAD CHECK IN AND THAY ARE TELLING ME NO YOU DID NOT CHECK IN. I TOLD THEM I HAVE ONE HOUR BEFORE MY FLIGHT HOW AM I LATE!! I TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND SHE IS TELLING ME THE FLIGHT IS LEAVING 10 MINUTES EARLY. I TOLD THEM NO ONE INFORMED ME THAT THE FLIGHT IS LEAVING EARLY. THEY DIDN'T LET ME GET ON MY FLIGHT. I WAS AT THE AIRPORT ONE HOUR BEFORE MY FLIGHT. I HAD TO TAKE ANOTHER FLIGHT TO SAN FRANCISCO THAN PAY $300 FOR A FLIGHT BACK TO LOS ANGELES. Cons: "Went to check in online and the only seats that were supposedly available were "premium" seats with an upcharge. Obviously a scam to extort more money from their customers. Their app wouldn't allow me to check in otherwise, since I couldn't pick a seat without paying an upgrade fee. We called and waited an hour on the phone, then were told we had seats, but to get to the airport three hours early to pick seats. Got there three hours early and got our seats. This is why I'd rather drive most of the time. If I can drive it in less than 20 hours, I skip flying because it will take at least ten hours to fly by the time you factor in debacles like this, stops, and missed flights. Just not worth it."

Cons: "This plane had an hour plus delay. I know these things happen, especially on flights later in the day, so it's not that the flight was delayed. The entire Sun Country staff was unacceptable. First, the airport staff wouldn't tell us when we were boarding or the updated departure time after the first delay. We ended up boarding 15 minutes after the posted departure time with no warning or notice. Once on the plane, the flight crew wouldn't give us a take off time (such as how many planes we were behind in line) or our arrival time in Minneapolis."

Cons: "On the return flight (out of their hub airport!), their online system failed so it didn't capture that we had prepaid both our checked bags nor our seat selection. When we arrived at the ticketing counter they were essentially accusational about the issue. We showed the confirmation page on our cell phone and even logged into our mobile banking app to show them and still had to argue about paying again. On top of that, they acknowledged the system was having issues and would do absolutely nothing to help us get seats together (my husband and I), let alone anywhere near what we had selected during the online check-in process (we paid extra for an aisle and middle towards the front of the plane, and they gave us two middle seats in the back of the cabin). There were four empty seats in first class, and they wouldn't even bump up a frequent flyer to give us seats together in coach. Not once did anyone apologize, ask how they could help, or just try to be helpful. Both "managers" were clearly poorly trained in handling these situations and defensive and dismissive (walking away while we were speaking). They didn't even offer a free meal voucher. Nothing was done to help rectify the situation. It was honestly shocking how terrible of an experience it was - no indication that they felt we were a paying customer. There were so many little things they could have done even without changing our seats that would have made the situation better. I will never fly this airline again, out of principle, and will absolutely share my experience with everyone I know. If someone from Sun Country reads this, the managers' names are Oniekey Brown and Jolynn Carpenter. I would suggest your management chain have a conversation with both of them and highly suggest training."

As I was waiting and automated system started talking, saying the reason you have a longer wait than expected time is because Sun Country is trying to incorporate new innovations. You're reaction might be it's crazy and you're right it is. After all this I waited quietly the rest of the evening. Came time for on boarding, the team was highly UNTRAINED. I watched them switched TWO mothers with infants from line tonline multiple times the lines got out of control people were literally jumping lines. No sense of leadership nor organization. Literally take this as a warning from someone who has had multiple bad experiences with the same airlines in the last year and half. I am done with Sun Country!"
Cons: "It was a pretty unpleasant ride, I arrived only to find that the size listed for carry-ons on their website was inaccurate se ended up having to check my bag at the gate for a 25$ fine and had to pay another 20$ on the way back. Really expensive especially for a college student who can barely afford it on top of the nearly 500$ ticket. Definitely not worth that especially if they scam you into paying for checked bags. I don't know if it was just this one flight but I don't plan on flying Sun Country again. Horrible experience."

Departing time was supposed to be at 1210, instead we took a bus to I think Mexico to board the plane then we taxied the plane all the way back to LAX and took off at 218 (well documented time). I was late for work so I was let go, my wife left me and took our 4 sort of intelligent kids with her. Pros: "Sun Country has a system which promotes smooth boarding. First to board are for those with special needs requiring more time (families with kids, etc.), then the first class passengers, then those without carry-on, or who are willing to leave their carry-on as gate check, then for the first 10 rows, and then the back rows, and then everyone else. This seems to work fairly well since it minimizes jams associated with front row seating first, as well as seating those who have large carry-ons."
Cons: "The only thing is that they should emphasize more that those who board first because they do not have carry-on, but just personal bags, should place those personal bags under the seat rather than use that to board first and then take up valuable space in the overhead compartment. I saw people board first claiming only personal bags, and then they would deposit their bags towards the front in overhead compartments, or they would just put their bags sideways in the overhead--taking up twice as much space as carryon bags going in lengthwise."
Cons: "I booked this flight almost 3 months early and still was not able to sit with my travelling companion. I do not wish to pay extra for preferred seating, but think it's unreasonable not to be able to choose seats at the time of booking or during online check-in the day before. The gate representative informed us that there were lots of seats available and would reassign us neighboring seats, but did not do it after all. Very disappointing. Also, I asked for an aisle seat due to having claustrophobia and he did not accommodate that request either."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 6 hours and didn't get home until Midnight on a sunday. They only offered a cheeseburger for a meal, and didn't have any other options for people with allergies like gluten free because they "ran out when serving the back first who got both a burger and side. When asking the flight attendant if there was any other option because of my allergy she rudly stated she had "a cheeseburger or a burger with cheese". We were not contacted about our flight until we were checking in at 10 am and the attendant at the airport said they knew at 7 am that the flight was delayed, we could have spent the whole day with our rental car checking out more sights but had already turned in our rental so couldn't go back."

Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved.

First, our plane in Lihue was delayed for over 3 hours because they could not get a working fuel truck to fill the plane. Three hours? This caused us to miss our connection in LA, although just barely. We had to wait onboard so that we could use the same gate that our outgoing plane was departing from. If we had just been sent to a different gate we. Oils have made our original flight. So, they put us on a flight to Chicago because there were no more flights to Minneapolis. Then, once in Chicago the incoming plane was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes before deplaning. Then after an hour delay we were told the crew was on the ground and we were boarded. Sat in the plane for another hour, then we’re told we were still waiting for crew members that were delayed so we deplaned again. Another 90 minutes past and we got back on the plane and sat for another 45 minutes. We are finally pulling away from the gate. Hallelujah!"

We were then informed that one flight attendant had not made to the flight and we were to wait until the flight attendant arrived. We waited over 20 minutes for the employee to arrive to work rather late. This put out over 200 people for one irresponsible employee. In my business that employee would of been fired unless there was a very serious reason. So a full plane of passengers were inconvienced as well as many people that were helping the passengers what maybe 300 + for one employee! Doesn't make sense!"

Cons: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

So we simply got moved to separate middle seats in a different, a row that didn't recline."

Cons: "Just before takeoff we had to abort and the crew slammed on the brakes. It was entirely frightening. We sat on the runway for a long time after that while the crew did not have clear answers for what was happening or why. Several things happened while we were on that plane that were unnerving for the passengers. So much so that at least one passenger threw up. Very scary. We did end up taking that plane on to our destination two hours later, but it was the worst flight experience of my life."

Pros: "First of all, the crew was amazing. I had just been traveling for about 20 hours and I had a seat towards the back of the economy section. After traveling that long, I was getting antsy to be at my destination, and I asked the gate agent if she could bump me to a row towards the front of economy- thankfully the plane wasn't full, and she was able to! It's the little things like that, that are what make me fly United. Also, the cabin crew on the flight was great! Of course, the economy section of the plane wasn't an ideal amount of space, but come on- it was an hour flight, and they did a good job of trying to spread people out so that the rows weren't packed."

They were older and didn't realize that once we pushed off you had to remain in your seat and she came and told them they were breaking the law and would be arrested for standing up, in such a nasty tone they didn't say another word the whole flight. When we were offered something to drink they declined. I jumped out of my seat realized I forgot to ask where the bags were placed that were collected on the jet bridge and went back to ask if they were in baggage claim or not and she yelled at me for turning around and told me she could not speak me because I had exited the plane already."

I was the last person to board. This was my 1st time traveling to that airport. No way to know that the Tran would require me to pass through security checkpoint again. Get better communication with people. The lady at the desk was just saying go to terminal A! They should have had a person directing all of us to go to the shuttle and bussed us to the terminal."

The gate staff and the Customer "Disservice" staff that were condescending, rude, and knew nothing about why we were delayed. "It just says station delayed. I have no idea what that is. We'll tell you when the new departure time is when we know it." The hours without any update of status so we had no idea if we could leave the gate area to get something to eat and drink. The gate agent who stared at the passengers like each was a major inconvenience to her day while she chatted with the tall good looking passenger and was all smiles. Loved getting home at 2am rather than 11 pm when we were supposed to arrive. Made that 2 hour drive home so much more fun! Thanks, Frontier!!"

The tray table is super tiny, I'm a 5'9 woman and my knees were almost touching the seat in front of me while I was sitting. Both flights were delayed for maintence issues. Plane was extremely, old, worn and dirty. Thankfully it was only an hour and a half flight but I'm still sore it was so uncomfortable. I literally think inmates transferring prisons would receive more comfortable accommodations."

How did I pull this off? - I bought it from a gate agent AT the airport (thus avoiding the convenience fee that comes with buying online) - I did not check a bag - I brought a small bag that was considered a "personal item" (this is free, but there are some very important sizing restrictions to check on their website. If your bag is too big, you WILL be charged a lot more) - I did not select my seat, or the seats of the people that were traveling with me (they ended up putting us all together, anyway) If you look at any of the other reviews that complain about Frontier (or Spirit, who pretty much has the same business model), you can tell these people hadn't prepared for the "ultra low fare" experience. With a little homework (and legwork!), you can save your money for the best part of your vacation... relaxing at your final destination!"

Then to find out the person next to me only paid $70 for the same ticket. My ticket at least 4 times more."

Cons: "I thought I had found a great deal when I bought my Frontier ticket. Later, I learned they not only charge a fee to check a bag (increasingly common) but to carry on a bag. Basically, if your travels require, you know, clothes or any personal belongings, you'll be paying an additional $30-60 each way. In my case, it was an additional $70 total which means it was no longer my perceived "great deal". On the first flight, I thought I missed the beverage service..oh well. On the return flight, I realized they apparently don't even do a true beverage service because I finally had to ask an attendant for water just so I could take my medication. What else...it was an international flight and they had zero writing utensils to lend to fill out the customs forms. When I arrived at the airport for my return flight I discovered they were the only airline for which you couldn't check-in at a kiosk. This resulted in being forced to stand in the only giant line when I didn't even have a bag to check. After realizing just how cheap Frontier has become--and that it ends up costing much more, I will never fly them again."

Cons: "Hey guys, I had a rather interesting experience on my flight to MSP that I thought I would let you in on. I know most would rather punch up their flight as a TERRIBLE, AWFUL experience. I'd rather give you the full story because I know there's another person on the other end of this, like me, just trying to get through the day. I decided to upgrade to seat 1D. I was excited for my trip and I wanted to start it off by having a good seat and a quick exit. When I boarded, however, there was already someone in my seat. So I shuffled to the side where the flight crew prepares drinks. A crew member approached me. "Someone in your seat?" she asked kindly. "Yes," I replied. "Yeah..." she trailed off. I expected her to ask the person to find her seat. This did not happen. I never got a straight answer but I surmised that this person had a physical ailment of some kind, or perhaps children that needed to be attended to. Whatever the case, I stood in the same spot while the entire plane filled. I really wasn't angry - just quite confused. The crew seemed just as confused. It was the last flight of the day - they looked tired. I don't blame them. The crew ended up having to shuffle more than me to row 13 - an exit row, to their credit. An aisle exit row seat is a fine seat. One crew member even offered a comped beverage, which I gladly accepted. The flight took a little late. We arrived in Minneapolis safe and sound. I suppose I was - and still am - confused as to why there is an option to pick a specific seat if there is a chance that specific seat is more of a suggestion on the passenger's part. What if I also had physical ailments that necessitated that seat? What if I had children booked to fly with me? It was all slightly confusing. Overall, it was not a bad experience and I've already booked another flight with Frontier. But the idea of choosing specific seats only to not get that specific seat has dissuaded me from paying that extra money. Smooth ride compared to other passenger reviews, my only other time in a plane was very rough@ landing@ O'Hare Chicago during bad weather, that pilot got a round of applause. I will look to use Frontier Airlines again if I ever fly anywhere."

Since I have only flown once before in my life I was interested in hearing and understanding the safety instructions given by the flight attendant, but she spoke so fast that I (with some hearing loss) couldn't follow her words. I couldn't make much sense of the picture book instructions either because there were few words of actual direction."

Cons: "I want to start by saying i am totally disappointed in this airline. I am currently in Orlando my flight was supposed to leave at 11:25am today. I have stood in 4 lines twice in lines that the attendent left to go socialize and one i waited for over an hour and than into a secound for well over an hour. I informed them i have a severely autistic son and needed to find a way home as soon as possible. Mind you while all of them watched my son go in and out of meltdowns countinually hitting me. Needless to say in spite of not getting a flight today and being told they can get me on the earliest flight on Thursday and they supply no lodging. No appology no nothing!!! In the midst of it all i met some angels. Ones that hung out and forgave my son for hitting them, let Mazi play with their ears and went looking for people to help us. I even had a woman come up to me and look for flights for me and my son and offered to write a check to get me and my son home. This same woman put $300.00 in my hand to help me. Her name Tracy Morgan from Florida! So inspite of the awful treatment from this airline i am blessed beyond mesure from the human heart of people I have never met and the love and kindness they shared with me and my son! Found a flight tomorrow thanks to my mom leaving at 8am from a different airline. The resort offered to let us stay for another night free of charge."

Seats were crowded and uncomfortable. The flight attendants seemed as if they would have rather been anywhere but helping passengers. Both flights were late not due to weather. After booking this flight with all of the ad ons, I found I could have flown Sun Country or Delta for less - and next time I will use another airline."

Cons: "I was aware that this airline charged for carry-on's and beverages that other airline companies usually provide fee of charge. However, there were several other issues that I had that soured the experience for me. First of all, the seats were considerably less comfortable. The backs of the chairs were plastic, the try table was so small it might as well not have been there at all, and the leg room was terrible. On the way back there was a line of about 300 people at the Frontier desk to check baggage. I don't know if they simply did not staff appropriately, or if there were too many flights scheduled to take off around the same time, but I've never seen anything like it. They did attempt to fix the issue by pulling the people who had sooner flights to the front of the line, which I was thankful for or I would have certainly missed the flight. However, this could have been avoided by planning flights more appropriately, and certainly was not the most fair approach. Finally, we had to wait for about 45 minutes for our checked bag after the flight as well. This could have been the fault of the airport itself, but I've never had an issue with baggage at this airport before. Overall, I don't think the extra saving was worth it, and I'll likely be flying with a different airline in the future"

Pros: "While TSA made me late for my flight by 5 min after having arrived with more than enough time for any normal airport. They made sure I was on that flight and they were amazing! I would mark them down for the food and entertainment but it is a budget airline and I knew this going in. If you want a flight with the extras included you're gonna have to pay more for the ticket, so it all works out in the end to be the same. I upgraded to the package that included all my bags and seat selection and it was still cheaper than any other airline I looked at."

Then the flight gets cancelled but no email notification was sent and the screen wasn't updated at the gate (the whole time I was there). If I hadn't come back to the gate during the long delay and asked a fellow passenger why they were in line, I wouldn't have known it was cancelled for a long time. The employees at the gate were helpful in refunding our tickets, etc. but overall, not happy with my experience with Frontier Airlines."

The crew did not do a good job of keeping us informed. We were to the gate almost right away it and then waited and waited. Then we had to walk up the jet bridge with no lights on. Once we got to the baggage claim it still took another 20 minutes for the bags to come. Also, the seats are not like they used to be. With the carryon bag fee it ends up being about as expensive as much better airlines. I won't plan to fly Frontier again."

Worst airline I have ever experienced, and I have flown over 100 times. Skip Frontier and pay the additional cost for a better airline, or you will have regrets!"

Cons: "i'm sure i'm not the first person to say this but the add on charges (luggage, seat choice) are a little annoying in that they aren't just presented as part of the ticket price. Like couldnt the ticket price say 'the ticket will be between 140 and 200 dollars depending on baggage and seat choice'"

Cons: "Dirty, filthy plane. Garbage visible on the floor while walking down the aisle to my seat. Charged extra even for a can of pop & the price for the ticket wasn't cheap."
Pros: "The price! It was very affordable. If you know what your getting into with Frontier--and are willing the extra/hidden fees (baggage, snacks, etc.) it can be a good choice for some flights."

Cons: "Frontier's website is misleading and a bit of a scam. I don't know how they live with themselves with the website they run- I'm guessing very comfortably, :). -Tries to get you to pay for any seat you pick. Tries to make you pay for any bag you take on board...really quite weak. -The "skybar" which sounds cool, charges you for everything, yeah I'll pass on the 5 dollar drink of water, thanks. -Sorry my foot was in the aisle, I guess I should have paid another 50 dollars for foot space so it wouldn't inconvenience the flight attendant. -I'm 35 years old and can say flying used to be fun, like I am in my late 80s, thanks Frontier!"
