Pros: "We were so delayed due to a broken Air conditioner.we were told we had to get an new plane. The walk and ride took us to a new terminal where we walked and walked and I am 78 and hard to keep up. Then we were off and a nice flight and we made up a bit of time. Upon arrival in Aspen and there was not gate for us so we had to wait 25 minutes to deplane, The staff and pilots were terrific and tried to make the best of it. At least we got there. Snacks and water would have been nice with all the waiting we did....Linda Decatur"

Cons: "On the first leg of my journey, there was a card explaining how to get inflight entertainment using the aainflight.com which worked great. However the Phoenix to Eugene leg used Boingospot but there was no card in the seat pocket explaining what needed to be put in your browser to access the entertainment portal. There were only two flight attendants on the flight and, aside from the drink service, no one ever came to the back of the plane so I could ask the question. I could have used the call button but I think that should be saved for emergencies. I think the information on how to access the inflight entertainment should be in every seat pocket"

Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."

The fact that there was such a long delay that there was another flight to the same place leaving approx 5 min later and then an hour later is pretty sad. And loading from the gate consisting of walking through cattle gates across the Tarmac was slightly irritating. In the future if you can't find enough working aircraft, make better arrangements."

In general, the food were inedible and poorly prepared that means they were not considerate and discreet about cooking, selecting material,too. The airline only pick the terribly cheap meat to scam and mistreat the passengers. I felt I was ripped off and sadden."

And after dinner was served, gave everyone a bottle of water. Good choice of movies, food was good and the light breakfast was actually very filling. Excellent croissants. Overall great flight."

Also Newark Airport is decrepit and the United Terminal is run down with poor services that arte ovrpriced and dirty."

After paying once for my checked bag they tried to make me pay again. Asked to see in writing what they were trying to explain and the manager couldn't do it. They never gave me my ticket stub for my checked bag. So if it hadn't arrived I wouldn't have had anyway to find it. Very disappointing staff in SFO. Seemed aa if no one at SFO was happy to be working there or even worse didnt know what to do most of the time. VERY different than the DEN united experience."

Cons: "I cancelled my flight within 24hrs and received no refund because I booked through priceline. However, there was no restriction or clause listed on the ticket stating that I had to cancel through priceline also. It really should not matter who I cancelled through, if I canceled within 24hrs the refund should be given. Also, the debits from my account said United as well as priceline taking me to United's web page to make the purchase. So of course one would think cancelling through United's site is appropriate. I'm very disappointed in United and will consider all other options (Airlines) before booking with them again. PS - United customer gave me the run around for 3 days knowing that it was their policy and they were the company who's keeping my money. Absolutely ridiculous."

Pros: "First of all, I was excited to get to Puerto Vallarta! Unfortunately, we had a delay due to a child who got sick as the plane was backing from the gate. The crew was fantastic and had paramedics load the plane to check on toddler. The family deboarded and United crew cleaned the throw up. The pilots kept the passengers informed and we proceeded with the flight. The flight attendants were fantastic, particularly the brunette attendant who remembered me from a previous flight. Best flight attendant ever!! Thank you United!!!"

Pros: "I arrived at the aurport 1 hr 20 mins before flight - plenty if time to check in and make it to gate at a small airport ad Newark is. Wanted to check in online - the United System did not allow me to. Had to wait in line - long line due to holidays. I raised my hand and asked for assistance given the impending 1 hr cut off time for check in. Was told I should go to the special assustance line. Well, guess what - that line which was meant to be express service for fliers with special situations was moving with the speed of a tortoise - slower than the general line. Only 2 flight assistants were servicing, both incredibly slow. When asked politely that I need special assistance as I was approaching the 1 hr cut iff fir checkin, the United lady yelled at me instead of speeding up her slow motion. Bottom line, I missed my flight on a tiny airport dedpite arriving 1 hr 20 mins before flight. Had to wait 14 hrs overnight at the airport to catch the next flight because the United Airlines personnel are lazy, slow, inefficient, rude and no customer oriented. Terrible service."

When I do get on, I'm literally wedged between a rather large man and the window. No ones fault, but comfort was horrible. Crew was nice enough, but I was uneasy when we were about to land, flight attendant reminded us to not take belongings in the event of an emergency evacuation. I'm all for being prepared, but please don't make me feel like we're about to crash."

Cons: "We were delayed three hours at the gate and another one on the Tarmac. I have flown United three times in the last 14 days and have been delayed by multiple hours every time - including once because we were waiting for a flight attendant (scheduling mix up)."

The original flight ended up cancelled and so we would have been delayed a day or 2. The ease of the switch was perfect and allowed to focus on our trip and not the travel. 5 stars."

Cons: "I specifically booked my trip based on a 6 HR travel time. Because I was re-routed, it tacked another 4 hrs onto my trip time. I could have driven to where I was going for a fraction of the cost. It's so frustrating to fly now a days, the massive crowds, grumpy airline workers and delayed flights. I'm going to start driving more... Sick of the hassle with commercial flights."

Cons: "My husband, myself and 11 year old son were seated separately. We requested seats together. I was told by the desk staff that there were younger children also seated away from their parents. Once in board, I observed several families with adults seated together and children older than 11 seated together. Priority should have been given to younger children to sit with at least one parent. I was uncomfortable with my minor aged child was seated with strangers for a 5 hour flight. In flight online entertainment didn't work initially."
