I guess I can't expect much from what seems to be a low budget airline. The food was OK and the movie selection was excellent. I didn't have any issues with boarding or baggage check in. There was a mix of good and bad flight staff. Sadly, the staff in bad moods were servicing me.
The bad mood in-flight staff and the uncomfortable seats. During boarding, I asked one of the staff if I can have a window seat because I have motion sickness and aisle seats make me feel ill. She looked at me flustered and said all seats are booked and that I'll be Ok with the aisle seat. On a different CP flight, a different staff was helping a couple switch with other passengers so they can sit next to each other. That would have been nice if they did that for me when I asked for a window seat.
Seat won't recline
Time Management and guidance. We enjoyed playing on screen. We viewed movie. How we are flying on Google maps. Hospitality is good.
The checkin supervisor at Ohare gave me a hard time given that am the only checking in. I felt I was profiled. Very unprofessional

food was so so - no choice was given on the first meal - snack was a sandwich but the bread was very very dry - crew was very stingy in giving out drinks - half a glass for soda - found the crew not very friendly
Everything was sub-par, the food, entertainment, the crew responsiveness, I asked for two drinks and was told that I could only get one at a time... really? The crew was multilingual, which was great, but also very annoying to have to listen to announcements in 5 different languages. They could use media with standardized messaging and a choice of an appropriate language, but these would make too much sense I guess. This was the tightest coach I've ever flown in, the seat ergonomics was horrible.
Had an aisle seat.
I thought boarding was more difficult than normal with the gate configuration. Hard to hear announcements.
7:05am Flight got cancelled and they saw fit to rebook us on a 20:30pm flight.. decided to reroute us to anotjer city in canada and down to a different airport in DC Lost my luggage from time i checked it it at 0500am yo time dflight was cancelled and rebooked at 0700. And to fike claim and travrl without jt. Worst experience ever.
9:30 flight finally took odd at 11:30 .... delayed and had to set on the runway. Arrivedabd gad to wait 30 min for gate. Will be in terms mal by 1:30

Having to pay for baggage on an international flight and no better snacks available without purchasing them.
Courteous crew, delicious food and comfortable seats for economy. I was looking forward to the return flight!

The configuration of 787-900 Busn. Class was very good. However need to age Chivas Regal to 18 years like KAL, not ordinary 12 years. Flight attendants were exceptionally efficient, professional, courteous, and outstanding ambassadors for ANA and Japan itself. In the US Marine Corps we would say "Ooo Rah". I may heed to check out your milage club and stop using various carriers for my trans Pacific flights. Thank you very much ANA.
