Flight attendants could have been courteous by asking them to keep the noise low. My baggage did not arrive for 4 days in Cairo and no one was responding to calls and even went to airport twice . offices were closed during day time . Last day before leaving with the help of a travel agent I was lucky to get my luggage. There was almost a brawl at airport as people were unhappy because their baggage did not come from tel aviv to cairo. Very poor handling of delayed baggage. Not even a call from the airline. Not sure if it was offloaded in Tel Aviv or Athens."

The gate agent seemed to be completely lost and at one point started boarding and then had to ask those that had boarded to deplane. The seats were rather uncomfortable to begin with but then add to that being in the last row next to the toilets and the galley AND with crew members stepping on the side of my seat to reach supplies in the overhead bin without warning."

Cons: "The flight was from 2-5am (local destination time). The company/captain/crew made the decision to have the lights on during the whole flight. The service of drinks and refreshments had to stop for some minor turbulence (I've had much worse where service was uninterrupted). We had to wait until 30 minutes before landing to be served food. It wasn't clear if this was the company's way of apologizing for the interruption of service. They served us a full course dinner with baked pasta with cheese and beef at 4am. I found that to be quite random, disorienting and inappropriate. There was no entertainment options provided on flight"

I suppose entertainment is not a big thing nowadays with all the choices we have with smart phone's and tablets, so not so much a big deal. But with space itn is a big deaI. What should have been a 2.5 hour trip ended up taking us 10 hours and we spent an entire day of our vacation waiting around in airports. Needless to say, this was the lowest point of our trip. In addition, there was virtually no information or updates provided at Mykonos airport. The flight information on the monitors was incorrect and there were no announcements made. We had to exit the security area and walk over to Aegean Air desk in order to find out what was going on. This lack of information caused us additional delays as we sat in the airport waiting for an update. Aegean Air handed us a sheet saying that their service fell below the standard and that we were entitled to free flights, but we won't be able to use them as we were only in Greece for a limited time (on our honeymoon). It would be terrific if Kayak could get our flights refunded by Aegean Air. Thank you."

Cons: "The lost and found office is not open 24 hours in Athens. And that is strange how can you claim something u lost if your flight doesn't fall within the 9 to 5 hours."

Cons: "I am very disappointed in the way my ticket was checked when I was heading to Bucharest from Athens. I had everything ready my boarding pass my passport and my visa. Then the woman who was checking the tickets before we entered looked 2 seconds on my passport and said we have a problem we need to call the immigration. She started calling people and called her coworker, she didn't tell me what was going on! She didn't explain what was the problem, I asked her a couple of times what is the problem she just said we need to call the immigration. I asked her one final time tell me the problem! Then she finally told me, but it turned out obviously she didnt read my visa correctly, there was nothing wrong with my visa or my ticket, the problem was she misread my visa! Then she said oh I didn't see that sorry. This took approximately 10 minutes. Ok she apologized but it didn't sound sensere or honest. I felt embarrassed and humiliated, specially when she kept saying we need to call the immigration like I am some kind of a criminal. I was NOt treated the way customers should be treated. She did not have to be rude in the first place, and she should have apologized in a decent manner wihout any attitude. It would be great if you tell your employees to treat everyone with the same respect, and that they shouldn't descrinate against any nationality. Just because I am from the middle east doesn't mean I should have a problem with my visa! And just because I am 22 doesn't mean I don't deserve a decent apology! Thank you for having the time to read my complaint."

Cons: "The flight was so cramped, my husband actually scraped his knees on the chair in front of him. Like, a legitimate abrasion on his knee. We weren't seated together, but the people in the plane weren't wearing deodorant or any kind of smell prevention, so the plane was ripe as heck. There was no rhyme or reason to the way the attendants served us - they'd skip people, then come back 20 minutes later to finally serve the skipped person a drink. There was absolutely zero entertainment on the plane, and the food was bad. The airline staff at the airport before departure was even worse! Kayak didn't allow me to buy a bag allowance when I bought the tickets. And there was NO advance warning that there was a weight limit for carry on bags (8kg by the way). So, we got to the airport and had to pay over £100 to check all of our bags. I didn't bring a laptop case, because my bag was usually a carry on, so lo and behold, I got there and yay! My laptop is broken and won't turn on. The flight was incredibly turbulent and my life flashed before my eyes a couple of times. We also had to go to 3 different ticketing Windows and bag drops just to get my ticket and check our bags. You would've thought they were building a rocket ship with the amount of effort that went into the whole ordeal. As I mentioned before, we weren't seated together, and nobody told us this or mentioned it when we got our tickets. Just ridiculous!!"

Although we were put up in a hotel and got a flight next day, missed another connecting flight, which was with another flight company and had to pay again to get another flight. No apology from the airline for the inconvenience this caused. The travel to South Africa was for an emergency and ended up getting there two days later."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1. No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2. They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3. We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4. We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5. We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6. We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). However, we could not do any of those things because we did not receive any information about delays from Alitalia. After we arrived home in New York the airline l"

Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

I spend hours again in lines to get a boarding pass for a flight to Palermo, missing my connection and only getting a much later flight to Palermo. It was utter confusion. Shame on Al Italia."

"The whole checkin process was a diseaster! We were flying with Vueling! We had checked in on the app but still had to checkin at the desks with our 10kg hand luggage! The queue for this was 2.5 hours long, with no social distancing in the pandemic (Covid19). When we finally got to the top of the queue, our flight was closing also another queue was opened up! But if we left the queue we were in we would have ended up at the back of a different queue! This seemed pointless to be honest! What could have been done is a bag drop section of the checkin process (Like Ryanair has) it’s much more streamlined and quicker! After all this drama, we only had 15mins to make it through security snd passport control to make the flight on time! It was very stressful and very hot! I was so thirsty that I needed to buy a bottle of water at the boarding gate (to my surprise this small bottle of water was €5- a total rip off! After boarding (which was ok) we were looking forward to a nice cup of coffee on the flight as we usually do! It took the crew nearly 1.5 hours into the flight to get to our seats to serve us! The coffee was dreadful (a hotel type sachet of instant coffee costing €2.60) and a heart burn inducing Turkey, ham and cheese toastie (costing €5.50)! The horrified by the quality! Ryanair is definitely better on food quality, check-in and boarding experience and service, that’s saying something! The flight itself was grand (although lacking interaction from the pilot- which is always nice) it was a smooth flight! When it came to landing it was good but our baggage took nearly 45mins to come out onto the carousel in the terminal! And other delay! Overall I would be giving Vueling perhaps a 2 out of 5 overall! Not impressed!"

Totally unacceptable! Worse thing is the lack of direction to handle the situation. Their answer was by law were allowed to overbook! Seriously! I know this is true but these airlines should. It be allowed to do that it’s disruptive to people’s lives that have paid money to be on these flights. So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"

Cons: "Insufficient leg room my knees touched the person infronts chair and when they reclined my knees were under pressure from the recline. It wasn’t very pleasant."

Pros: "Quick and easy, no frills, cheap flights, on time, great between Euro countries but not beyond. Newer airbusses with comfortable seats for short flights not long flights. just make sure you don't check bags, just carry on size. clean and cheap and easy, but don't expect more."

Cons: "They lied to us that the connection flight from Barcelona to Tel Aviv was canceled and therefore we must stay at Granada. They also said they could not fly us to Barcelona because all the hotels there were full occupancy (sounds absurd). Only after we insisted on flying to Barcelona we discovered that the flight to Tel Aviv took place as usual. To this day, I do not know why an airline needs to lie in such an ugly way. Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"

Pros: "The fly was delayed 45min. The spaces between seats are to small I ask for a soft bread sandwich and the staff tell me is assigned for another customer and i need to choose another one Overall was ok"

Pros: "clean aircraft. smiling smart and friendly staff. on time departure. ultra quick bag retrieval. would highly reccomend"

Cons: "The most horrible experience Iv'e ever had with flights and airline! The staff lied to us and wanted to keep us in Granada - they lied and said that our flight to Tel-Aviv from Barcelona was cancelled and that we need to stay another night in Granada and fly the next day. After we insisted on flying to Barcelone anyway (although they said they would not take care of us and all hotels in the city are full because of the weather conditions [which was a lie - it's summer and the weather was fine]). When we got to Barcelone we saw that our flight to Tel-Aviv was not cancelled! We only had 30 min because the previous flight was delayed in 2 hours so we ran and went on the plane. Of course our luggage did not arrive...."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "They overbooked the flight, had extremely rude staff, and we're not helpful at all. Will never fly with them again."

Cons: "The crew were very rude, there was no more overheard space in the cabin so two people in our party had to check their luggage, the washrooms at the rear of the plane were out of order and the they were out of three quarters of the food on the menu - effectively nothing to order!"

Pros: "I never write negative reviews simply because I believe if you dont have anything good to say then say nothing. However the experience we had flying with Vueling had caused us so much unnecessary stress & made me (very patient by nature) so extremely nervous that I got a stomach pain & gastritis excaverbation. Thus out of curtesy for other future flyers I cannot be silent about this. I literally have nothing positive to say about my experience except that we did actually land safely."
Cons: "To be specific Vueling's check-in associate Lafth (he wouldn't provide his last name even when we requested it for the purposes of this review) was the most unhelpful, rude & unprofessional public service worker! He was doing his job with the attitude as if he was doing us a favor, meanwhile making unappropriate comments related to the country of our destination & the United States. He assigned a seat to my boyfriend and informed me that I wont have a seat due to overbooking. We explained to him that we absolutely mus be on the plane due to the importance of an evening we had ahead. He seemed to enjoy the difficulty of our situation & had zero compassion & showed no attempt to help or to see what he can possibly do. The grim on his face suggested "screw you, guys!" And sarcastically added "good luck to you"! Seriously!? I was furious & so upset & also nervous because not making it to the point of our destination would be extremely unfortunate. My boyfriend suggested to assign a seat to me & to check in two luggages under my name & he would figure out an alternative scenario for his way to get to our destination in case they wouldn't find a seat for him at the gate. At the gate we met with two other associates who seemed to have zero training in what their job is. They had no understanding, no outside of the box thinking, no creativity & no any hint of compassion! Striking! Only because a guy from Iberia airlines came to help these two incompetent associates we started to feel that someone with the brain & knowledge is finally involved. Finally, we were given a second seat "miracoulasly" somehow it was available.. hmmm... and guess what!? Not just one! As we got on a plane I saw at least 4 seats (in my vicinity) unoccupied! The bottom line Lafth (the check in guy) knew it! But his miserable attitude had caused us all unnecessary stress, my nerves & caused his company this review. My suggestion- choose other airline!"
