All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.

Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). The tray table was also dirty - so dirty that the crew member used a napkin to pull it out. Gross. Comfort: Ruined by the rude staff and the dirty tray table that was forced on me. Water was coming out of the wall. Both bathrooms didn't have soap dispensers (not even empty ones - they never had any out to start with), and by the time I went both were out of toilet paper and hand napkins. Food: Didn't touch it because of how disgusted I was at the flight by this time. Entertainment: Something is better than nothing."

Once you do, they'll explain to you that it's really hard to get the streaming to work properly because so many people are trying to use it at the same time, but don't worry - they have preloaded iPads available ... for rent. It feels like a blatant cash grab on top of an already disappointing flight experience."

Cons: "I am filing a complaint with regard to my recent flight on Dec 31, 2016 from Barcelona (BCN) back to San Francisco, US (SFO) on Air Canada, with a connection in Toronto, Canada (Flight # AC1915 and AC739). My wife and I were denied boarding at Barcelona because we did not have an ETA to visit Canada. However, we actually qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. Please see below. My wife and I arrived at BCN airport in Barcelona before 11 am, more than 3 hours prior to the departure time of 2 pm for flight AC1915 to Toronto. Please see the attached bus ticket as proof, indicating we boarded the bus at 10:30 am at Barcelona city center. This is more than enough time for check-in processes. I knew about the ETA requirement prior to travel. However, I also knew that, as a Taiwanese national, we qualify for the Transit Without Visa program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. The Canadian Government website states that: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas-all.asp#eta-exemptions “The following persons are exempt from the eTA requirement: • Foreign nationals seeking to transit through Canada under Transit Without Visa or China Transit Program.” Furthermore, also on the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1092&top=16 “Travellers whose planes refuel in Canada going to and from the United States, as well as participants in the China Transit Program and Transit Without Visa Program, do not need to have an eTA or a visa to transit Canada.” We qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program because according to the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/twov/travellers.asp • We are citizens of Taiwan • We hold valid Taiwanese passports (please see attached passport photo) • We hold valid US visas (please see attached green card photo) • We are traveling to Canada on an approved airline: Air Canada Rouge • We transit through an approved Canadian airport (Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, terminal 1, without a change of terminal between flights) • We hold a confirmed onward ticket to the US the same day (AC739 to San Francisco, departing at 6:55 pm the same day) • We arrive during operating hours for the US in-transit pre-clearance facility. During check-in, we were told that we needed an ETA and denied us boarding. I tried explaining to the supervisor on duty that day that an ETA is actually not required for us since we qualify for Transit Without Visa, using the arguments I presented above in this letter, as well as showing him the websites from the Canadian Government. However, the supervisor insisted that we needed an ETA, citing the general policy that Taiwanese citizens require ETA to visit Canada. What he did not realize was that we satisfy a very unique case that did NOT require an ETA."

The worse experience was getting through customs at the airport in Barcelona on the way home. Only two agents available to stamp passports on a Sunday morning when the world's largest cruise ship (Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas) had docked earlier that morning? We arrived at the airport at 8:30 and no Air Canada agents were available to check us in until 9:00. After waiting to get through customs and we proceeded to our gate, our 11:45 flight was just beginning to load! Lots of shoving and people cutting line to avoid being late for their flight. I heard one person mention they had missed their flight, and I'm certain many others did as well. With the chaos and delay, I'm surprised altercations didn't happen. The airports/airlines need to work with the local authorities to avoid these delays and provide their customers better service."

Cons: "We were quite disappointed when we were told there would be a delay due to mechanical issues after already boarding and being on the plane for over two hours. Imagine our distress at being trapped in a narrow seat inside the confines of a plane still sitting on the tarmac and going nowhere with very limited climate control and circulation that added even more discomfort. This level of stress was compounded by the manner in which our minimal nutritional and hydration needs were not only met but as fare paying passengers, we were teased by a meager slice of packaged and processed sliced banana bread and a mere two cups of water. This fact is especially important because it more severely impacted my father who is diabetic and it was not sufficient for him, especially at 11:44 p.m. Also because there was no communication relayed to passengers that the problem would not be resolved the second time we boarded, Air Canada agents should have recommended or handed out dinner vouchers while we were waiting in the airport after they evacuated us the first time (since everything was closed the second time we were evacuated). We were stuck on the plane for a total of 4 hours two separate times they boarded us and in between that we waited back in the airport for 2 hours; therefore a total of over 6 hours of time past the original boarding time which lead us into 1:30am of not going anywhere. Flight was rescheduled for 23 hours later! We understand the challenges of operating an airline and trying to meet schedules and the needs of the customers. Furthermore, we appreciate diligence when it applies to the safety of flying. However, the myriad problems, distress, physical and discomfort not to mention the over 23 hellish hours, was exacerbated by the following: the lack of communicaton and bad information; the paucity of empathy reflected by all Air Canada employees toward our aggregation; the measures taken to mitigate the damage inflicted to what was to be our “dream vacation” and finally the scarcity of adequate accommodation and compensation for all that we endured. We too lost one night at the Barcelona Universal Hotel worth $207, not to mention a lost vacation day worth over $600 in salary for 8 hours for us. Air Canada should be held to higher standards and more responsible for keeping up to date on their aircraft maintenance checks and regulations. There was also no specific hotel address on the voucher issued which caused us to drive to two different sheraton 4 points locations until we finally reached our destination which there was no vacancy. Luckily after lingering around in the lobby and me having to call multiple hotels to verify vacancy, one room became available and we ended up inviting another family to stay in our room that night (other Air Canada victims). We didn’t get to bed until 5am that following morning after all of that ruckus!!"

We are still waiting for it."

They announced they were ready to board zone 1 and 2 and then did nothing for another 25 minutes. Funny when we finally boarded nobody ever saw a wheelchair go on or off the plane. Understand that flights are delayed but no updates or explanations and a gate crew that seemed annoyed that the passengers were disrupting their social time was unacceptable."

Our flight was delayed for no apparent reason causing my friend and I to miss our connecting flight. The Air Canada crew did re-book our connecting flight, however there was so much confusion on whether or not we had to go through customs since we landed in Montreal and our new flight was with Delta not Air Canada, that we ended up rushing through lines after lines of customs in the Montreal airport only to learn we could have avoided it all. On top of that, we were told multiple things about our baggage. To be safe we tried to go through customs and pick up our bags to be rechecked, but our bags weren't there. When we asked they said they had been put on our Delta flight, however in actuality they were stored in a closest. Needless to say, our bags did not travel with us and my friend and I had to spend hours at the Atl airport trying to locate our bags and arrange to have them flown to Atl and delivered to us. The flight itself was okay but their in flight entertainment options were awful. You either have to download the Air Canada app (which wouldnt download) or rent an Ipad for $10. The food wasn't great either. The crew members were nice but a little impatient and the bathrooms were gross. Overall, I won't fly Air Canada again."
