Pros: I got to my destination safely.

Cons: The guy who was checking us in mumbles the entire time. Couldn’t understand a word he was saying and why we were delayed 50 mins. There was supposed to be an open seat next to me and I even paid for priority but someone got their friend to sit next to them and she took the entire arm rest that she didn’t pay for. Overall I didn’t enjoy my time on RyanAir. I will need to looks elsewhere as I don’t think I can ever fly with RyanAir ever again.

Cons: Arrived at the Airport over 2hours in advance, waited in line to get our tickets and check bags. Line barely moved in over an hour. An Escalated line opened up for our flight from Barcelona to Rome, When we arrived to the teller to get our tickets and check our bags we were told we needed to wait in a separate line to pay for bags. After waiting in this line for over 30 minutes we rushed back to the teller just in time for her to tell us we missed our flight. (still 30 minutes to takeoff). We found out afterwards we would have had to wait in another 30+ line to get a "visa stamp". Wouldn't you know it, we booked another airlines and Ryan has refused to credit the flight (I kinda of get this one) and our luggage (which cost more than the flight). I have no idea how they can charge me for luggage they never checked or flew. The teller told me that the luggage would be refunded, however it never was. So I challenged the charge on my credit card. Ryan is saying that we needed to be there two hours before and show proof. How do I proove I was there two hours berfore? what a corrupt company never flight this clown organization, run by total ass-hat jibroni's.

Pros: Nothing, flying with this airline is a total NIGHTMARE!!!

Cons: The people at the counter is very rude and inflexible, they do not help you in anyway and they just want to charge you all the fees they can in a very disrespectful way! As customers we should not pay super high extra fees for checking in at the airport. When we are traveling, we don't always have wi fi access, specially in London, so we were unable to check in online, causing us to have to pay 50 pounds per person plus 35 per bag. I would never recommend this airline to anybody, not even to my worst enemy. This is a thief company, robbing you the money you try to save by flying with them!!!!

Pros: Lots of legroom. The crew was very nice and friendly.

Cons: The plane was late and boarding was delayed by an hour and a half which caused us to pay a late check in at our hotel. Boarding was not an easy, seamless process. They made me put my backpack up top, but at least it gave me lots of legroom. Having a mandatory check in several hours before your flight to avoid a fee for "normal" check-in seems not customer friendly.

Pros: got to Rome 5 hours late

Cons: This flight was about the 5th leg of our European trip. I attempted several times to complete the early check in on the website so that we would save the fee of checking in later at the airport but I was unable to. We left our hotel 4 hours prior to the flight departure because the metro ride was 1 hour to the Barcelona airport. Next, we waited in line at the airport and were then told to go wait in another line and pay 50 euros each for the airport check-in. Then, our flight was delayed so we got to spend a whole day of our vacation in the Barcelona airport! What a waste of valuable time for us. Next tour of Europe I will gladly spend up to $400 more for a reliable flight on a different airlines. Time is more valuable, especially vacation time!

Pros: I liked that it got me where I wanted to go. The staff was nice.

Cons: I had to jump through hoops to print a boarding pass even though I had Ryanairs app with a mobile boarding pass. 3 hours of my Sat and Sunday in Barcelona were spent searching for an open copy/print shop. Would have been nice to know more than 48 hours before my flight. I get to the airport after not finding a print shop, expecting to pay through the nose for them to print the tickets for me and they say I didn't even need it. They supply the boarding pass. Wow. The boarding is a joke. They don't board in zones, so the line was literally 180 people long. I wasn't even in the back of the line and it still bothered me. Now let's get to the plane, again, staff and pilot were great. The seats have NO leg room. I have long legs and it was miserable. No seat back pocket to put things. No recline on the seats. The aisle way sagged everytime someone walked past me, leaning my seat toward the aisle. I know, I know, you get what you pay for. This flight I paid for a lesson. That lesson being never never never ever ever ever fly Ryanair again. I would gladly pay a little more money to save my poor knees from being in that position again.

Pros: Nothing was terrible about the flight. The crew was great. There was a delay b/c of weather, but you can’t blame that on the airlines. But € 3 for a bottle of water. Really. Extra fees to be able to take a carry on bag onboard. Really. The attempt to squeeze every last farthing out of the customer is frankly disgusting.

Cons: See above.

Cons: My 81 year old father was asked at the final hour to measure his carry on luggage right before loading the bus on the tarmac to take us to the plane. They had already looked at it at check in. They pulled him out of line after he handed over his passport and then told him they were going to charge him for his carryon because it was too big. Cons: The whole checking in process was ridiculous!!! You can only check in on your phone otherwise everything is fee. There are no self check in computers. I'm flying international so don't always have wifi available. Charged to check in my luggage. Which is horrible. It's not even a flat fee for the luggage it's by waeight and I had to go back and forth to a different counter for weight, then to pay, then back to drop off the luggage. One person at the counter should be able to do that one transaction.. it's such a waste of time. I will never fly this airline again.

Okay 4.0

Pros: The flight was basic, without added perks such as a screen on the back of the seat in front of you, but it also got us to Rome safely. For that, I thank you.

Cons: The flight was delayed one hour by an unknown issue and boarding staff did not communicate at the gate. Some of the passengers were boarded then the rest of the passengers were left standing in line at the gate for a prolonged period of time. Boarding staff did not address the passengers while we waited. We did not know how serious the issue was while we waited, if we were going to be allowed to board, or if the flight was going be cancelled. Just before boarding the issue was attributed to a passenger from the previous flight who was in a wheelchair and required assistance. Would have been nice to know while we waited.

Cons: I didn't like that the originally fairly cheap price became higher and higher to provide minimal comfort and service. 30-35 euros per bag, paid ahead of time, is a ridiculously high price to charge in addition to the flight cost. Middle seats unless you are willing to pay more. Not even a drink on the plan unless you are willing to pay. etc etc. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient not to provide a paper ticket. I was unable to print a boarding pass as I was away from home. At the check-in I was not given a paper boarding pass, and then when I got to the entrance area, my phone would not work to show the boarding passes electronically. Ryan Air's website was impossible to navigate to find my boarding passes, taking me literally about a half hour to figure out. This delayed our entry tremendously. On the flight out from Barcelona to Rome my son was allowed to carry on his skateboard plus one small other carryon. On the flight back, he was NOT allowed to take the board through security, and was told he was too late to check the board. This turned out not to be true, but we were not informed of this at check-in, again seriously delaying our boarding. Luckily we had arrived at the airport way too early, and this worked to our advantage given Ryan Air's incompetence. The next day we flew home on Swiss Air - what a pleasant difference to fly on a real airline! No issues, lots of help, etc. etc.

Cons: My flight was canceled an hour before departure. Then the line to talk to a representative about cancelled flights took 6 HOURS becuase they only had 2/6 of their representatives helping. Pros: There is nothing to like about Ryan Air. Even the low ticket prices, is a bait to extort large sums from helpless passengers, when they are at the mercy of the Airlines. "I will see how you take this flight", were the threatening words of a lady representative at Barcelona Airport.

Cons: Flight was late by about 3 hours. Information came too late without any explanation. The promised dinner coupons never came. The staff was extremely rude.

Cons: We were traveling through Europe the week prior to our flight. I checked in on-line 2 days ahead of the trip. when arrived at the RyanAir desk 2 hrs ahead of the flight, showed the checkin agent my check-in status on my iphone. After 5 minutes of her computer work, we were handed a slip and said we needed to go across to the Ryan Office to get a voucher, since we didn't print our boarding pass. I re-read the messages on my iphone which said to check-in ahead, or else penalty. Screen didn't say print boarding pass or else penalty. Spent 30 minutes + at the RyanAir office. They wanted an addition $150 (100 pounds) because we didn't print our boarding passes before showing up at the gate. I expressed we had been traveling in Europe the prior week and didn't have a way to print. They didn't care. A manager reduced the additional fee to $50 extra. Don't know why. After paying the extra, and spending 30 minutes, had to go back to the other line and wait another 30 minutes to get back where we were an hour prior, then were in a rush to make it through customs and make the flight. After making it to the gate, the flight was delayed about an hour, without any communication from the gate. Overall, after several hops with RyanAir and Vuelling touring Europe, this leg was a great reason to avoid RyanAir in the future. Vuelling was very helpful to a traveler like us and gladly provided a printed boarding pass!

Pros: The people were polite

Cons: Why do you have to go to one counter to pay for your checked bag then another to actually check it in? Flight was delayed. Flight was full so I had to check my carry on bag. Took way longer overall than expected and costs more than expected

Pros: We flew Rome to Barcelona and we're scheduled to come back to Rome and then fly back to the states. Besides being able to change our flight to go from Barcelona back to the states (with Norwegian) due to changes in plan, we would have considered booking through another airline. Yes, it really was that bad! Food was fine but you have to pay extra for all of it.

Cons: My bag touched the top of the bag screening box for carry-on but otherwise fit and would have fit FINE in the overhead compartment. But NO. I got to pay €50 instead and have them check it. Literally for touching the top but still fitting inside fine. Worst legroom ever. Terrible. I had a middle seat and elbows digging into me on both sides. Awkward! Online check-in automatically selects for one person to be in the front and one person in the back unless you pay more to sit together. Unless you pay the fee you cannot sit with someone you're traveling with. Bathroom broken on flight and only one stall available. Long wait! No pouches in the seat in front of you-- kind of annoying... Staff seemed burnt out and ready to get off the plane. I totally could empathize. Maybe it was because we were heading to Barcelona, but major party crowd who was pretty rowdy on the flight. People standing in the aisles blocking the flight attendants, people sitting on each other's laps some and being loud-- kind of like being on a party bus. Will for sure be telling friends to avoid this airline no matter the price-- not worth saving a few bucks for the discomfort and hidden fees. DON'T FLY this airline if you have kids. Your 5 year old will probably get a middle seat at the back of the plane while you're in the front unless you want to pay extra for everyone to sit together. DON'T FLY this airline if you have American sized carry on luggage. They don't care about your American sized luggage. Whatever the baggage guidelines are, subtract some because that's what they REALLY mean. Get the tiny hard case Euro suitcase if you want to carry on a bag. Otherwise the fee is very high! DON'T FLY this airline if you are over 6 feet tall or have long legs. Ok, they let you stand most of the flight anyway. You'll feel better on another airline. If you can spend an extra 15, do it and AVOID this one.

Pros: Flight was on time. People were friendly. Plane was clean.

Cons: They send repeated emails pushing you to upgrade your seat or to pay for your carry-ons. They try to scare you into spending more money. I received several emails stating I would have to pay higher fees to check my carry-on at the gate. I opted not to pay as they insisted so I was worried the entire trip. Was not charged at the gate as the emails started. They have good prices on Sears but try to make it up in fees.

Pros: i liked it when finally got out of the plane

Cons: first, they had a fee not well explained in the areas of bookings about check in and luggage. 40 euros per person just because we did not checked in on their app. we where not the only persons that had the same problem. about 6 other couples presented with same. plane had difficulties, nothing to drink, plane was delayed and very inconfortable. not recommended at all.

Pros: Warned about Ryanair and the strict luggage rules, I made sure to follow the bag weight and size dimensions to the letter.

Cons: I saw LOTS and LOTS of people bringing much bigger carry on wheelie bags well over the "restricted size". Same with the under seat bag. Irritating since I spend a lot of money on the correct bags since all my own bags were slightly bigger than those allowed. No one checked bag sizes or weights. What a waste.

Pros: The Ryanair staff was friendly. The plane was on time and the flight went smoothly.

Excellent 8.0

Pros: Nothing was terrible about the flight. The crew was great. There was a delay b/c of weather, but you can’t blame that on the airlines. But € 3 for a bottle of water. Really. Extra fees to be able to take a carry on bag onboard. Really. The attempt to squeeze every last farthing out of the customer is frankly disgusting.

Cons: See above.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
