Food was surprisingly good for airplane, crew was great, though announcements were sometimes hard to hear. Plane was nice (had great headroom, large screens and big dimmable windows). But seats were uncomfortable in economy (seat width was fine, but not enough shoulder room). I wish I could use my person Bluetooth headphones with screen( I think I could mirror it on my device, but didn’t want to keep tray table down to hold it up).
If I had a chance to rate Turkish airline in negative I will definitely give -100. Worst non professional attitude of ground staff at Istanbul. If I was a owner of Turkish airline I would definitely fire all check-in staff who was on duty for this flight. Rude attitude to all customers. Non availability of food options. Chicken and fish option was finished within 8 rows and only pasta was available (seat rows 25- last row). Seat Front glove boxes were ripped and all stuff was dropping on floor. Flight crew was trying to pacify the customers but this is sole responsibility of the manager who arranged / booked the food for this flight. He must be removed from this position as he has no idea about his job. It was worst flight during my whole life. Never booking again on Turkish airline.
Bussing in a major flight is idiotic. Cabin was too warm. Food was bland and felt old

Tv didn’t work and left the gate late but everything else was perfect.
Didn't like the Boeing 787-9 Business Class. I had requested seats A & B for me and my husband, they changed to A & D, separated by the aisle. For the 12 hours duration of the flight we couldn't even see each other! Same for the return flight, a passenger was kind and switched seats, we ended up sitting in the middle 2 seats, still an issue to communicate with a barrier in the middle..
Again poor use of old aircraft and old business class seats that show there age.
Service and food were very good, I liked it a lot. I liked the little gifts we all got , but I don’t think I’d fly on Turkish airlines to go to New York from Istanbul or from New York to Instanbul anymore. Flight is way too long.
Was disappointed because we had paid extra to choose our seats 3 weeks before the trip and only 2 days before departure I get an email that our seats from beyrout to Istanbul were bumped from row 15 to 25 without any good explanation. Someone else took our seats . What’s the point of paying extra to reserve our seats if they are going to do that. That was not right or ethical.
We liked the comfort and seats. The crew was not very friendly nor did they check on us to see if we needed anything. Had to ask for water several times
Start to finish everything about our flight was first rate. Friendly and helpful staff, same for crew, plane was clean and comfortable, food was excellent with good choices, left early and arrived on time. Would travel with RJ again without hesitation!
The agent in Chicago was very rude, very unwilling to help and provided the worst customer service there is, it felt like she wasn’t there to work but was forced to work. I was trying to talk with her about my damaged case and that was I after I picked up my bags. She represented American Airlines in a very poor way
The worst thing about is u never never can get someone to answer your phone There is no phone number to call they don’t respond to emails u just can’t do anything if u need them
This is my second time within two weeks using them. I have bad experience with their Internet. They charge me $35 for Internet worked only for 15 minutes and then disconnected and they don’t even give me a credit or refund my money or give me a voucher about the food. It’s very bad test. There is no test actually and barely cooked still raw.
They cancelled the flight while we were at the gate. Then they rebooked me for the next day but then that was missed because I now have a connection and the first flight took too long to get to the airport. Right now sitting in the hotel until the next flight. Worst trip
POOR. The gate changed 5 times. The plane was late. The waiting crew and the desk staff were gossiping and chatting amongst themselves about the maintenance and plane issues. No water service on the plane after the long delay. Even after I asked for a water. I was in seat 1A. Single crew member we saw sat in the seat the whole flight on his phone. After a stressful boarding process and delay- it was REALLY disappointing.
I was most disappointed with the flight crew in business class. They were not attentive at all. Everything I needed, I had to ask for. They did not offer refills, did not ask how the meal was, did not offer anything else when I didnt like the drink that was poorly made. When I asked for snacks, they told me to go to the front and look at what was set out. This was the worst RJ business class crew I have ever encountered. They made me feel like I was a bother - even for a simple water. No smiles. No thank you. No my pleasure. These are the reasons you fly business class. At least the crew can smile and act like they are happy to be there. For 14+ hours, I felt like an inconvenience. Poor review.
Crew was apathetic, in seat hardware was old and barely functional, WiFi (which I paid for) didn’t work for half the flight (I was refunded). They gave 2 meals on a 13 hr flight, whereas Etihad gave 3.
I’m still stuck with no hope in sight. They haven’t even provide a hotel for keeping us for two nights.
