When landing it was very difficult to find anyone working for Swiss to assist me. Then someone told me that my flight would be leaving in 3 minutes. I asked to be rushed through line, but everyone said not too worry because plane would wait for me. When I arrived at gate there was no one there. Then it took quite a while to find another Swiss employee to help me. There seemed to be a lot of confusion."

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

ENTERTAINMENT: I recently made the acquisition of a new and very comfortable pair of noise cancelling headphones which I was excited to use but couldn't because the audio plug required two jacks! Cons: "To whom this may concern: I am writing to express my absolute dissatisfaction and poor experience with the customer service and lack of working amenities on flight #TK11 leaving Istanbul into New York City, JFK. It was sadly a horrible ending to my trip and left me with a very unfortunate impression of Turkish Airlines. Less than an hour into the flight I spoke with a flight attendant making him aware that the USB port was not working so I was unable to charge my phone the entire flight. In addition, the wifi was not working. This is a huge problem because I planned on working remotely that day and my job was under the same presumption. The attendant blamed my phone and did not take my word that I was unable to connect until I insisted further and another passenger in front of me turned to my rescue and agreed with me stating the wifi was spotty and only worked for a short period of time until ultimately shutting off. The attendant did not apologize but said he would check on the port and the wifi and would get back to me. I followed up several times and he fed me the same lines until I grew frustrated that I was being completely ignored all while losing a day's work. During the last 20 minutes of the flight I decided to finally walk to the back of the plane and follow up for the last time with someone else. I explained the situation to the other attendant who seemed as though this was the first time he was hearing about this issue and he spoke to his chief who gave me a customer feedback form to fill out. No one offered me a different window seat to fix the port problem or even Miles Plus points for the inconvenience even though I requested it. I have never felt more disrespected and dismissed on a flight before this experience. As a star alliance member (CX765361), I frequently fly for work and personal trips and out of loyalty and assurance that I would be able to fulfill my work duties remotely given the features this airline promotes. I chose Turkish Airlines because it was apart of this program. This experience did not uphold the company's reputation and by flying with Turkish Airlines I completely missed a full day's work, deadlines and was behind when I physically returned to work. For the inconvenience, stress, disrespect and empty promises, I am requesting that Turkish Airlines reimburse me the portion of that flight. Best, Rachael"

Cons: "My connecting flight was cancelled twice then delayed. I ended up missing my connection in Istanbul and having to overnight there. Turkish Airlines did provide hotel accommodation to passengers in similar situation, however only after wondering around the airport for over an hour to find the TK hotel desk and waiting for an additional hour to be assigned a hotel room and be transferred there, only to learn that I had to check out within two and a half hours after checking in to be at the airport 4 hours before the flight departs. When I finally arrived at the airport, I had to go through a security screening (because I was not suspicious for having entered the country and exiting only 5 hours later). When all of that was done, I approach the check in desk and asked if my seat can be changed, as I had spent the previous 2 days trying to get on my connecting flight, spending over 8 continuous hours at an airport and having had a nightmare night. I asked for an exit row seat or anything in the front of the plane. I was literal told that if I did not like the seat given I did not have to fly. I took the seat originally assigned and spent 11 and a half hours sitting next to a toilette on the airplane with a crying baby next to me and in front of me. To top it all, it took 2 hours to get my luggage once arrived at JFK. I usually love traveling on Turkish airlines and I understand not all of the above is directly depending on them, but considering how awful the entire experience was and how little I asked to be happy, I found them to be extremely unaccommodating on this occasion."

That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

They offer a very good service in the economy class which includes free wine (and not only sodas) and a large selection of free newspapers which I value a lot. Newspapers are much more interesting to read than watching movies in my personal opinion. Overall, when aboard Lufthansa, one does not have the feeling of cheapness seen so often on competing airlines. A few years ago, when flying from San Diego to New York, a 5 hour flight on a major US carrier, passengers were not even offered a free drink. Everything had to be paid for. In comparison, all food and all drinks are free on Lufthansa which includes not only wine but also Baileys (a sweet liquor). Given the excellent service, ticket prices charged by Lufthansa are a bargain even if at a small premium over the competition."

NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

Once on-board, they then announced that they were waiting for other connecting passengers. Took about 45 minutes. It would be nice to know that before booking that they do this, and also before boarding, even if it makes more sense to start boarding before they arrive (but 45 minutes before?). The live map on the public screens in economy showed a dummy/overview map with "waiting for data" the entire flight, rather than the actual live map. Premium did have the data on their screens, and the individual screens also worked fine. Not sure what happened there..."

Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Cons: "Boarding announcements in Warsaw for the flight to New York were ONLY in Polish. This left many passengers confused. I could understand this if the flight were to a Polish destination. During the flight, intercom announcements overrode the Entertainment System at FULL VOLUME - EVERY TIME. it is as though they wanted to maximize our discomfort. I would not fly with Lot again."

Cons: "After the flight was delayed for an hour several days in advance, I thought it could still be OK. But when they kept us at the gate for another 1.5 hours without any information as to why we were not boarding, I just about lost it. Delays happen. That is not the problem. But the staff was rude and did not inform us about when or if we would be leaving. When asked about missed connections, said they know nothing and the transfer desk will handle that. I was travelling with my cat, so for me it was super stressful. Once we did arrive to JFK, there were no more flights to RDU that night and it took forever and then some to get me a hotel that would accommodate a cat. Just fly another airline."

I have trouble flying and took 3 sleeping pills so I can fly comfortably and now the woman woke me up and I couldn't fall back asleep so she can eat? So horrible. 30 screaming kids on the flight. They served food while I slept so I called the flight attendant 7 times to now bring me food since she woke me up. She never showed up. So no only was I now up, couldn't fall back asleep because of the screaming children but I am SO glad the person behind me are her mean comfortably"
