Those of us with connecting flights are royally f*cked at that point, especially if your connection is short, as mine was. The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."

I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

What should have been 9 hours of total travel time (including driving to and from airport, security checks, customs, etc.) turned into 20 hours, resulting in a lost 1st day of our trip."

The second delay was due to someone putting way too much fuel in the plane so we had to wait for the excess fuel to be removed. Then the flight attendants ended their shift so we had to wait for another crew that was flying in from Denver. This involved us having to remove all of our things from the overhead bin and get off the plane and re-board about an hour and half later. I was supposed to make it to Dallas at 8:45 and instead didn't make it until after 12:30. It was extremely inconvenient and unpleasant. I have not experienced such a nightmare before with any previous airlines."

We had to run to the other side of the airport to the international gates not knowing if we lost the flight because when we arrived to Houston the second flight was already boarding. Luckly the flight attendants let us out first before the other passengers and barely made it."
Pros: "From Salt Lake to Houston, there was a really rude flight attendant, a man. Other than that, my entire flight experience was good. They didn't have Dr. Pepper."
Pros: "empty flight--was traveling with infant and had a row to myself."
Cons: "milk products in the snack, gross. in flight entertainment was annoying and just a preview, prompting constantly for me to pay more. would have been happier without a bright screen blaring bad tv show clips in my face."

Cons: "The only negative was that after waiting to taxi (for almost 10 minutes), we received an announcement that it would be a little longer because they realized that the had yet to re-fuel the plane. That was somewhat alarming."

Cons: "United charges 8 bucks for you to just see where you are now. Worse yet, the entertainment system loops with sound off even if you dont choose it. Taunting you to "just swipe" so you can join the club. I HATE this experience and feel the airline has made a very bad call. I'm sure some bean counter is looking at the "swipes" as proof of his brilliance. but i will pay more to fly on other airlines after this...so screw you guys."
Pros: "Even for my 5ft8in frame, the space between seats was very cramped. For a long haul flight like these a couple more inches between rows would make a huge difference."
