Cons: "Lack of social distancing with American Airlines"

Pros: "Entertainment and air hostess"
Cons: "American Airlines have to improve with their food. Spend more than 500 for ticket and they cannot provide lunch for > 5 hour flight? We had to buy that food as well. They also boarded us too soon and didn't have time to grab the food outside as our time between flight is only 50 mins."

Pros: "Great crew!"
Cons: "We paid for WiFi but it was not working on this flight."

Cons: "It was extremely hot on that flight. I continually had to get up to cool off."

Pros: "The plane was a good size for that length of trip. Free entertainment options were excellent."
Cons: "Had to pay $80 for an upgrade to be (fairly) comfortable for the flight."

Cons: "The flight was full. We waited for wheelchair assistance that never arrived until we got to the gate for boarding, after already doing a 20 minute walk to the gate. The crew was snippy and unfriendly. Two lavatories were out of order from the get-go which should have been detected before leaving."

Pros: "On this flight was a female flight attendant who anticipated my every need. I wasn’t flying first class, but still, she went out of her way to treat me very well. Her personality and hospitality made my flight relaxing, made me feel loved and appreciated, and the flight felt like I was already home"

Cons: "It was very warm on plane. Sat on tarmac for 30 min with no explanation. Flight attendant said she didn’t have any head phones but the. I saw another one with head phones later in the flight."

Cons: "While my experience was excellent, I must acknowledge that the practice of charging significantly more for some seats is outrageous. I was happy with the (free) seats I had."

Pros: "Flight Attendants were excellent. Especially good was the senior FA who was seen training the junior ones who were on their maiden flight. The breakfast omelet with turkey sausage was about as good as they get."
Cons: "Nearly two hour delay due to fog in SFO. Recommend AA reroute into OAK where the fog is not so bad and the airport has a way better arrival on time rate than SFO. The drive into San Francisco is about the same time from OAK as it is from SFO."

Pros: "I found the crew to be nice and friendly and the breakfast was good."
Cons: "It seems like American Airlines has lived up to its reputation. More seats in a plane and less comfort. On top of that, the entertainment system has not been upgraded since the 70's. TV monitors in the middle and everyone has to watch the same thing. Of course, the sound system did not work for one entire side of the plane so I could only watch the movie and not hear it. If you are not going to have individual monitors for each seat, allow your passengers to what from their mobil devises like almost all other airlines are doing."

Pros: "My flights were booked through British Airways, but these segments were operated by American. Madrid to Dallas was on a 787 (a very nice ride). Entertainment options were very good (although not as diverse as on British Airways). Food was excellent. The crew was very pleasant."
Cons: "There is not enough waiting space at Madrid Terminal 4S for passengers on large aircraft. Boarding was not as fast and orderly as it should have been. Customs and passport control at DFW is very time consuming (much slower than at many other comparable airports). To change terminals, it is necessary to go back through security and then take a train. It took more than 1.5 hours for me to clear customs and get to another terminal for my connection."

Cons: "Due to technical error my flight delayed and I missed my flight to Hyd from London. I was traveling on personal medical emergency and missed an important surgery of my mother."

Cons: "AA claimed the overhead storage was full and took my carry-on. Except I walked by at least 15 spots that easily would have fit my bag. They made us pay $50 to check-in luggage, but then didn't bother to put the bags on our flight. They also tried to charge us twice for the privilege of checking bags. They had no flights that would get us home on the same day, then claimed that since 12 hours had elapsed, we had to repay to check bags. During the flight, they had non stop commercials for their credit card. Ugh"

Cons: "Cramped seats, AC blasting and constant sting breeze. Food and service awful."

Pros: "Entertainment was available in front of us on a screen versus an onboard app, which was much appreciated."
Cons: "Oh man, I have so many things I need to say. I tried giving AA a chance, but compared to when I flew on WestJest two months prior for almost the exact same trip (I flew to San Francisco versus San Jose that time), WestJet was by far more superior in terms of customer service, boarding organization, and friendliness. First of all, what bugged me profusely was the lack of seat selection and the crazy pricing for certain seats. On WestJet, the emergency exit seats were available without any additional cost, yet AA was charging $66 USD to sit there. Furthermore, seats closer to Business class also carried a charge of $25 (or something like that) - ONLY because you get to board sooner. I would understand if there was extra legroom involved, but really, it's just a matter of sitting and getting off before anyone else. If anything, those seats should be given to passengers who have tight connecting flights and need to get off asap. even in those cases, you shouldn't be charging someone almost $30 just so they can make it to their next flight that YOUR company arranged within such a short time frame. But the most annoying thing about my trip with AA was the fact that I had to take out all of my belongings from my carry-on and carry them in my arms because there was no room left in the overhead compartments. Excuse me?? How is there not enough room? So I had to walk with my laptop, my iPad, my Beats headphones, my laptop and iPad charger, amongst other things, in my hands to the aircraft. Thank goodness I found a plastic bag, because otherwise I probably would have lost something expensive on that plane. Furthermore, as I walked to my seat, there was most definitely places that I could have stowed my carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments. You shouldn't let people put things like purses and bags of food in the overhead, when those can be stowed underneath the seats in front."

Cons: "Stood on the jetway for 30 minutes due to some issue with boarding. Aircraft was tiny, not enough bathrooms for such a long flight. Dirty bathrooms and long lines."

Pros: "Poor attitude. Seemed as though they were doing us a favor serving us. Did not pick up garbage for at least an hour. Absolutely zero personality"

Pros: "The plane was very nice and very comfy. Not a whole lot of leg room where I sat (economy) but it was a cheap ticket so I can't complain."

Cons: "Couldn't get my boarding pass. My name was wrong in your system, had to go to American Airlines desk for assistance and the attendant couldn't locate my name. There was a service attendant at the Alaskan airline service desk."

Cons: "it was not clear that finnair was being operated by american airlines. when I arrived to the airport in Paris, they couldn't locate my flight on finairr or american. my flight was missed and the staff on both airlines (finnair and partner american airline) were soo unhelpful. I have never missed a flight, I travel for work, in the air, more than on the ground and this was the WORST experience I have ever had. I was super disappointed that even after all the mistakes, no one would help me find a new flight and I had to pay for another one. Even after calling finnair several times and pleading for some answers or help."

Pros: "From Miami to Chicago we had to land to Indianapolis due to the plane running out of fuel and also they have to fix something minor . Waiting still in the plane watching a cartoon they play for us to go back to Chicago ."

Pros: "Ordinary flight, not too chaotic for holiday weekend."
Cons: "My luggage was lost! Had to wait an entire day to recuperate my suitcases."

Cons: "We sat in Orlando waiting to take off - delayed for OVER 30 minutes because ---> the catering truck failed to show up. The captain aired his frustration of the catering crew. Supposed to arrive in Philly approximately 2:24pm - we didn't arrive until 3:03pm. Baggage took another 20-30 minutes. All American emoloyees looked tired. Not one smile either to Orlando or from Orlando. (Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone.""
