The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Cons: "Since it was a wide body, there were no overhead vents. And for some reason they chose to heat the cabin to what felt like at least 78 Fahrenheit, in March. Also, the headphone jack was simply missing in one of our seats (rendering the entertainment system useless) and one of the seats in front of us was in permanent recline, cutting in to the already scant leg room."

It ate into our trip which was hard for us as we were visiting my grandmother who is not well. We contacted the airline about it and their proposed compensation was not what we were expecting. Honestly we plan to make an annual trip but based on our experiences with this trip maybe we'll choose a different airline."

The lady named Michelle in Dublin almost killed me with her lack of knowledge and slowness. The airplane was extremely dirty including diner tables, seats, and bathrooms. It is the worst airline that I ever flied with. In Dublin the check in and information desk of air lingus were awuful. Full of attitude and absolutely no knowledge."

Cons: "Due to delays on our previous flight in the two-leg journey, we missed the connection and had to be rebooked, stay overnight in London, and come home a day later than planned."

Cons: "One hour delay due to equipment failure. they loaded us and closed the door to hit hit the "on time" mark but then made us sit on the plane for the fix. There is no way the failure was discovered after loading. Usually the seats are ok, this one was the sardine plane, very tight. We were on the bulkhead seat (more room) but the entertainment screens were all yucky."

I carried my wifes carry on and they tried to place a yellow sticker on the second one saying it could not go in the overhead and would have to be placed under the seat or checkedm. By then, obviously, only the worst seats were available. Do they care? Obviously no. I'm the one stuck in the worst seats for 8:30h. And that happened both ways in the trip. All they would say is "I'm sorry, I can't help you at this time". As that would improve my flying experience. If the problem was on their side, they should definitely accomodate me."

Pros: "The flight itself went smoothly despite some windy conditions, and we were transported in one piece, without incident, from LHR to IAD. The crew members were pleasant in conversation and reasonable in frequency of food service. Once, when I pressed the attendant button, one of them came quickly to ask me what the problem was, and that kind of responsiveness is always a plus, in my opinion. Cons: "The aircraft was aging at least a bit, and it was clear because my seat almost would not return to the upright position and stay there. Several times I tried to return it to upright as the end of the flight neared, and it would easily move but would return to reclined once I leaned back. It was as if I had been the whole time keeping my finger on the button that makes the seat movable. After I'd about given up, the seat finally stayed upright even when I put my weight back on it. My flight attendant misunderstood my drink request, but I let it go because the result was close to what I had asked for. It could have been that there was too much background noise - not sure."

Pros: "Crew service"
Cons: "Ancient plane. Terrible seats. No space or padding. Horrid entertainment system from 15 yrs ago, dysfunctional. Definitely one of my worse experiences flying back and I do this leg 10-15 per year. Boarding was oddly disorganized for a BA flight."

Pros: "Beautiful plane. Wonderful service. Even landed 30 minutes early. I cannot say enough good things about BA."

Cons: "Boarding process atrocious! First a gate change from A to C gates, requiring a train to transit. Then, after walking down a jetway, we were sent through an emergency exit, down two flights of stairs and herded onto buses, and I mean herded. We (including elderly and moms with infants) alongwith our carry-ons were harshly ordered to squeeze together on a bus until there was literally no room to move. A lengthy bus ride with very disgruntled passengers to plane was followed by another set of stairs up to the cabin door. Finally, our departure was delayed 30 minutes while the bags of 2 passengers who got lost in the airport (probably on a bus or train) were retrieved. Not sure whether the fault lies with Heathrow or British Airways, but the experience was bad enough to avoid both in future."

Pros: "The crew was kind enough and food was decent"
Cons: "The plane itself is very old and dirty. Each seat is fit with an entertainment system with a fairly good selection however on both flights, the entertainment system worked for one hour. Then it stopped. The crew was less than helpful and when they did give it their attention they simply reset the screen which then continued to power cycle for the next 5 hours. On the way home, enough folks complained that the crew reset the entire system and then it worked for the last hour"

They had us line up over an hour before we could actually board the plane. People are so irritable that a shouting fight broke out in the process. The screens on the back of the seats work inconsistently. No wifi. And this was on the Dreamliner! not the worst flight I’ve been on but negatives definitely outweighs positives."

On board my 787 flight, the tray tables were very hard to close, the entertainment system didn’t work, and the bathroom, while not filthy, could have been a little cleaner."

Cons: "I arrived from Tunis with late time more than 45 min ,I must run to reach my connection to Washington during a rush hour... boarding in time but comfort and food need to be seen and revue. Entertainment need an up date a lot of old movies and a lot of screens were not working and need to be fixed. It was a very bad experience with 5 days delay and no one helped me to fix the situation . even kayak sent old information about my trip."

Pros: "This particular flight was fine. Royal Air gives a sense of being unreliable overall, though."

Cons: "My video screen broke in mid flight. The beverage service did not have any white wine. Furthermore, we were not allowed to board with water that was purchased in the secure area of the airport. And, on the plane sufficient water was not distributed to passengers during flight. Overall, a very uncomfortable flight."

Cons: "They flight was delayed a day on the departure and delayed two days on the return. The airline did not compensate for inconvenience and when I emailed them they did not have any substantive response. The tickets were cheap, but not worth the extra cost in hotels and time. I would highly not recommend this airline."

Cons: "I’m not sure how much the airlines can control this, but boarding in Morocco was an absolute nightmare both coming and going. There are gates but the boarding flights are not really posted clearly and not announced. Even standing right next to the final checkpoint, you are likely to miss the boarding call. Fortunately it is such a cluster that you have enough time to eventually figure it out and not get left behind. Also, many connecting passengers had to check in and get boarding passes in Casablanca and whoever was in charge of seat assignments simply could not have cared less. I was traveling solo, but witnessed at least 4 separate instances of families not getting seated together or even in close proximity - even couples!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many disgruntled passengers before a flight departs when a flight hasn’t been delayed or cancelled. Note to fellow passengers: If you’re traveling with others, check your tix/passes and ensure you’re sitting together before you walk away from the counter. And ask for clarification there if you’re not sure. If you make it to the plane with those passes, the plane crew will tell you that you accepted them so those are your seats - they will not work with you."

Pros: "The airline itself is pretty decent. The food is good enough. The dreamliner is a joy to fly. Entertainment at the seat is pretty good as well. The crew was friendly even though their english was quite hard to understand on the PA system. What I do like is that the crew does not sit there badgering you about cell phones and the like. Boarding could definitely be improved. It is like one huge gaggle of people when they ask to board. At least the flight operates on time."
