Pros: "I needed extra space because of my pregnancy, but didn't realize I couldn't upgrade my seat online or at check in. I was advised to tell the Boarding attendants I needed extra space and they promptly changed my seat and let me preboard. I'm so grateful and I had a wonderful flight back home. I was also very sick, so it was a relief knowing I could rest comfortably before arriving home to my children."

I was told a confirmation of a new flight was going to be email once the request from the support had been approved (the email confirmation was never received). I was also instructed multiple times to not show at the airport unless I had receive the confirmation. I was up most of the night waiting for this confirmation that never came!! I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called,mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"

Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

Even the pilot was very ethusiastic over the intercom before the flight. He made jokes and everyone laughed. In fact, it was the most I've ever heard from a pilot on any flight in my life. I would rate this the best flight I've ever had. Thanks, Delta!"

Had a problem and when i asked for their assistance was given the Delta 800 number and told to call and they walked off. When i called it was a 2 hour wait for an agent. Thank goodness for their app as i was able to.change my flight with the My Delta app. Also they had overbooked the flight and rather than giving assurance to people just told us to wait and "line up orderly"."

A woman refused to seat far from her “kids” (about 9 and 14) and flight attendants didn’t do anything ti stop the woman from blocking the aisle. We were already almost three hours late. Overall the worst experience."

The boarding wasn't good due to the stupid restrictions the US imposes on flights to the USA. We didn't appreciate the fact that the airline didn't let us know in advance that we couldn't buy drinks at the airport. That was a waste of money. The food wasn't good at all though. The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."

Cons: "The Overnight flight I had was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Too uncomfortable to even sleep at all. The seating is so tight, I could barely move my legs when the seat in front of me was reclined (and I am tiny!) I landed after my connecting flight was already boarded, causing an employee from the airline to announce my name over the intercom on the plane and tell the passengers to "clear a lane for me." I ran with my suitcase over my head, bumping into people and making it to my next gate...where I was told there was ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM for my carry on...which was also, very tiny. I specifically did not want to check my bag because I needed to immediately hop off the plane to make it to work on time. Another customer was VERY upset about having to check his bag and was pulled aside. I finally was told I needed to check my bag at the gate to get on. So i did. As I entered the plane, about half of it was COMPLETELY empty with PLENTY of room. I was floored. About 10 minutes later, the very angry man happily entered with his carry on and stored it easily in the overhead bin. My frustration was at a peak. But I said nothing. When I arrived to Newark, I rushed to baggage claim and guess what? After 30 minutes of waiting, my bag never showed up. I had to check in with information and finally found it. But this caused to me to be late for work. I have usually had a great experience with United. But this experience has changed my mind completely and am very upset."

Cons: "The plane was a small plane and we had to disembark on the tarmac. There were two attendants with wheelchairs but they didn't have my name so I walked on. The flight attendant called to me and said to wait. One of the attendants came up with a wheelchair and said he would take me. Unfortunately, a steep ramp had to be used to get into the airport building. He asked another worker to help him and all the way up the ramp I had to listen to comments about "good thing they had eaten their Wheaties" and "they were getting a good workout." I know that I am not a small person, but these ongoing comments were rude and insulting. When we got into the gate the attendant told me that he didn't have my name on his list and had to call for permission to take me through the airport. I waited and he came back and said he couldn't take me, but if I could wait someone else could come for me. I had waited enough already and suffered their rude comments, so I said no thanks and walked slowly through the airport. This experience has left me with a bad feeling for the airline and its personnel. I believe their staff could use sensitivity training at the very least!"

Pros: "The worst flight ever. Flight was cancelled, did not receive hotel accommodations, had to sleep in the airport. The crew was terrible. Boarding took a lot longer than normal. Should have chosen a different airline."

Cons: "The exorbitant charges for 2nd carry-on/checked baggages ($57 per bag!). Seats don't recline, 55-minute flight ended up taking 2.5 hours. A cup of water is extra (though a steward brought me a cup free of charge)."

Pros: "Brand new airplanes, and pleasant stewards."
Cons: "Over two hour delays waiting to board going both ways. In both cases the planes and cabin crew were on site but waiting for pilots. Apparently the pilots are suffering from 'blue flu' because they're not getting paid as much as other airline pilots, so they're intentionally calling in sick at the last minute. If the pilots keep this up they won't have airline to work for. Also didn't like that you pay for ANY luggage (even one carry on bag). By the time you pay for the add on fees your right back at the same price as other airlines. Then you add the time delays on, and your losing out. Won't be flying this airline again."

Cons: "I disliked everything. The customer service in the USA was terrible. You're better off paying another airline for a free carry on. Honestly who pays for a carry on, not only that it was $57.00 for a carry on in the USA but in the DR it was $67.00. It should be one price for all. I would never use this airline again."

Pros: "Frequent cancellations with no alternative carrier arrangements, you are on your own to get to your destination and lose your money- no refunds, EVER"
Cons: "Cancelled flights, nickel and dime customers- STAY AWAY"

Cons: "I understand you can upgrade your seat for more money, but if I choose not to I would still like to be in a reclining chair. Sucks being upright the whole time."

Pros: "There is absolutely nothing good about this airline."
Cons: "There are lots of hidden fees we didn't know about and ended up spending a lot more money than intended. There was horrible communication between the airline and the airport and we were held on the plane for an additional 30 minutes after landing which caused us to miss our connecting flight. They said it was our fault for missing the connecting flight even though it was out of our control. We were stuck at the airport and the next available flight was not until the following day. We received no compensation for their mistakes."

Cons: "Charge for everything. By the time you add all bagagge charges, etc.., i would rather fly full cost and get reclining seats for same price."

Pros: "The Flight to Atlanta was delayed an hour but that it's no the worst. The flight from atlanta to Orlando was delayed from 8:50 to 11:30pm. Then when we arrive to the airport we waited an 1hr and 15 minutes to get out of the plane. That was insane, horrible, definitively I will nevwr travel again with Spirit in my whole life. Overall the expirience was horrifying!"

Pros: "The crew was polite, professional, and courteous. The rates were good."
Cons: "This was my first time flying with this airline. Thus, I was unaware of the 40 lb luggage weight limit. Had to unpack at the check-in point to satisfy what resulted in an overage for your airlines."

Pros: "This airline hides it's prices!! There's a disclaimer that says baggage is subject to fees, but it fails to mention it'll cost you a fourth of another ticket to bring a carry on and then increase exponentially for every other bag, not to mention you have to buy your seat once you've already purchased air fair! SCAM!!!"

Cons: "I'm still stuck in LA. Not Happy."

Cons: "You have to pay $55 for a carry on bag, each way. Even if you want water it's $3. There's no entertainment. The seats were so uncomfortable- I'm 27 and I'm great shape and my back was killing me by the end of a 2.5 hour flight. The seats we're actually plastic coated by a thin cushion. And forget food if your hungry. A snack isn't provided unless you pay for it."

Cons: "Counter Service at Myrtle Beach, attendant's were rude, I wasn't aware of the weight limit for bags at 40 lbs.. I had to pay extra for 15 lbs. I mentioned it wasn't a problem at LaGuardia and he told me they all need training there ands he should go train them."

Cons: "After sitting for 4 hours of delays and wasting the time boarding and unboarding, they canceled the flight due to the pilots having too many hours to fly at 2 am. Out of the 30 spirit employees that were around and knew about the requirment and all of the delays, none of them bothed to do the math on how much longer the pilots can fly. if they fly for 8 hours a day, 4 hours were spent flying here from chicago then 2 hours to clean and board the plane then 5 hours to fly back to ohio.... Well thats 11 hours!"

Cons: "Each carry on cost $45.00 and a checked bag leaving Las Vegas was $41.00. No snacks or drinks on plane, unless you paid more money. The seats do not recline. The crew was nice."

Pros: "Crew was friendly (on and off the plane), and the announcer did keep us updated with information about whether trip connections would remain intact."
Cons: "We got to the gate with about four or five minutes to spare for the next leg of the trip. That was cutting it really close!"

Cons: "We didn't care for buying tickets and then getting charges for everything including choosing a seat. The web site was horrible and not mobile friendly. Customer service over the phone read from a script and couldn't really take care of anything for you.Also, Spirit expects you to have access to a computer and printer on your vacation. It "saves you money" to do it online. Yes, most hotels have access to those...assuming you're staying in one. Why can't I just check in on my phone and handle everything else at the airport like I just did on Alaska for my return flight? Why do your flight attendants tell us twice to keep our seats upright when they don't even recline? And, they spent most of flight playing games on their phones/tablets. Cup o noodle!? Really!? Flight industry is tough, I know, and you guys are the bare minimum. Head in expecting a nightmare flight and its not so bad."

Cons: "The price for the bag is outstanding you cannot charge 55$for a travel bag come on is rip of .i understand the price of the tickets are low but bring it up and then take out the price for the bag think about it"

Pros: "I was given a seat near the front of the plane,had group 1 boarding, and an aisle seat."
Cons: "Small seats, close together, no headrest, no recline, small tray, and minimum leg room."

Cons: "Spirit delayed the flight and cancelled late in the afternoon....luckily I was able to get a flight back through American Airlines for cheaper and no hidden $55 baggage fees....never riding Spirit ever again."
