Pros: "What is nice is that this airline gives people a pillow if they need one. They include a meal with a two hour flight from Costa Rica to Bogota, all included in the price. The reality is that in 2017 the airline carriers in the US are the worst in the world for their flying customers. The flight from Bogota to Montevideo was good. the seats could be another 2-4" wider. Other than that, for an economy flight, this was a very nice flight."

Cons: "After all these connecting flights especially after being delayed in Cali, the flight in Bogota was delayed and the Avianca crew did not announce it. After realizing it was time for boarding according to the time that I needed to be at the gate from my ticket, that's when people were realizing there was an issue. Once I got to the podium and handed my tickets the staff handed a voucher. There wasn't a hello, we're sorry for the inconvenience or the reason why the flight was delayed 2 hours. I had to ask them why what happened, what is the voucher for, how does it work, what time we were expected to be at the gate. The staff made everyone aware that we needed to be at the gate at 4pm so we can depart at 445pm. The food was okay and the staff looked a little annoyed when serving drinks. I shouldn't say all of the crew but from the back half of the plane the staff looked annoyed if not bothered. Didn't get to NYC until 12am, but had to wait on the runway for an additional 20 minutes. Again no communication on what was going on."

Tuve que esperar 3 días hasta que se recuperará... pero a la aerolínea no le importa el servicio al cliente y también se que está publicación tampoco va a servir de nada..y si compras aseguraba tampoco sirve de nada."

I think this was a bad way to do business and I’m simply not happy about it."

They didn’t change me for another flight , only the told me that they can change my ticket for the flight which is 18 hours later."

And apparently they were over widget but the website said I was okay. I even called and tripped check since this was our first time flying with them. They told us to get there at least 3 hour before our flight and they didn’t start checking us in until 3:50 ! I felt rushed after because we didn’t have time to grab a coffee or eat. The workers are rude and disrespectful not helpful at all !"

They first said it was about 30-45 minutes late, then an hour, later, another hour and so on. They didn’t offer anything on board, not even a cup of water. I understand they want to make profit and sell snacks and drinks, but come on, charge you for water!? Seriously?!"

I rather pay $100 more in an airline that has great CUSTOMER SERVICE and that in addition for not giving me a straight answer about how delayed is my damn flight AND taking one fu****ng hour to put the luggage in the carousel for the passengers! I hope they go out of business!!!!!! I know they lost mine and my whole family!"
Pros: "Horrible service. Never again fly with them. Sold our seats while we were checking in three hours before our flight time. Then they checked in our under bags. At the end they sold me another ticket from someone else who didn't make it in time but the others traveling with me had to stay behind for 8 hours later for the next available flight."

Cons: "Due to heavy traffic we arrived 35 minutes prior to our departure and were not allowed to board the flight. The website clearly states that they reserve that right within 30 minutes. Their website also did not allow us to check-in online which would have also saved time. They simply told us no and said it was a lost ticket. When I questioned a credit, refund or an additional flight they said no and offered no assistance. Finally, they called security when I asked to speak to someone else."
