Cons: "I checked in on line but went to check in desk to make sure my bag wasn't too heavy and the man changed my seat! Then I went back and the next guy said I couldn't have my seat even though it was 2minutes later and gave me a new seat but a better seat. Then the first guy comes over to give me a boarding pass for my second flight and again he changed my seat to an awful seat. And I wanted to sit next to a friend from Mexico City to Lima so that seat change was really mean. Once one the plane the man in my original seat got an upgrade so I got to sit next to my friend about half way through the flight when she came to tell me about the empty seat when she came to the back of the plane to use the bathroom."

Cons: "It was awful. My original flight was scheduled to depart March 30 at 11:55. Then Aeromexico changed it to 1:35am in March 31. They refused to let me change flights when this happened. I wanted to fly standby on an earlier flight, so I called everyday for 2 weeks to confirm how many seats were left. Everyone I talked to told me I could fly standby if it was he same day as my ticket. I got to the airport and the flight attendant at check in told me “standby doesn’t exist.” When I asked how much it would be to change my ticket, she just said “very expensive.” She told me she’d have to check me out of my current flight and risk me losing my seat on that flight, because it was overbooked just to see the price for the earlier flight. I told her I’d be willing to pay up to $200 to switch to the earlier flight and she told me it was very expensive and she wouldn’t do it. I came back later that night and took my scheduled flight. I carried on my bag from SFO to MEX. On my second flight from MEX to BOG, the attendant told an older woman she had to check her bag because the overhead was going to be too full. I volunteered to check my bag instead so she could keep her bag. Then Aeromexico lost my bag. When I got to BOG, they told me I couldn’t have a voucher because it was my fault for bringing a bag that was too big. Finally they gave me $100 because the next day was Easter and I had no clothes for church. I wasted over 2 hours of my vacation at the Bogota airport while Aeromexico searched for my bag. They said they’d call as soon as they found it. No one ever called. I called and they asked “what color is your bag?” I said “red” and the attendant said they had it. It was delivered several hours after this call despite the fact that the airport is less than 20 minutes from where we are staying. I didn’t think an airline could be worse han United, but Aeromexico steals the cake."

I suspect they cancelled my original flight because it was not full. A trip with a 15 hour layover would have been cheaper originally. Mexico city airport has poor amenities and internet access."

Cons: "TSA was a disaster, which is no reflection on this carrier but that experience tainted the trip. The plane seating was not comfortable. The entertainment offering was dated and deficient. The food option was sandwich or no sandwich."

Cons: "Our flight got changed and we received no notification. Instead of 1 stop we ended up with two. Two flights were delayed therefore we missed the third one. Just a terrible experience. The staff was very rude, had no people skills, and didn’t know how to explain the situation."

Here in Mexico City was a total mess, nobody knew anything and I run everywhere trying to get my flight but I got wrong info and i missed my flight! Had to wait 5 note hours in mex city and willl arrive midnight!"

Flight crew was friendly enough except for one, she seemed put off by everyone on board, but especially me. Lol. Basically threw the tray of food on my table and on the backside, pulled tray before I was done. She hopefully was having a bad day."

Cons: "On my way to Lima I flew through Mexico City. It took over three hours to get through customs and caused me to get to my gate minutes before the flight closed its gate. For this reason I made note to upgrade my flight so I could be close to the front of the plane and get to customs as quickly as possible. Aeromexico made me check my bag which is the SAME bag I came down with. Same size, same Weight. Their reasoning for this was because they had a full flight, yet I had paid extra to upgrade in the first place and their policy states you can bring on one carry on to store in the overhead. I'll likely miss my connection due to this. I will never fly Aeromexico again."

Additionally, the pilot said it was flight 911 to Los Angeles and then laughed and corrected himself to flight 900 - are you serious? Not a joke."
