Pros: Food was good as it is typical on Turkish Airlines.
Cons: The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience.

Pros: Nothing in particular. It was kind of the worst flight ever. The crew seemed inexperienced to manage a passenger that looked to be disturbed emotionally and mentally.
Cons: They kept moving the passenger to the back o free plane where I was sitting and I was so scared.

Cons: I was disappointed that the two female flight attendants on my side (seats A&B) did not come across friendly, and any request appeared to be a bother. At one point I requested bread and butter, the flight attendant seemed annoyed and said if she can find some, and never came back to me. I went to the galley, where a male flight attendant was working on something. I requested some bread and butter from him, was met with s smile, and was able to locate a roll and butter for me in under a min. Please note, I do not think this was a gender issues, it just happens to be the situation with this case, and I specified it as I do not know the names of the flight attendants, but the airline should be able to identify who was working the different sections.

Pros: І was a passenger with your wonderful Airlines from IST to IAD last week Nov 3rd 2017 and because of misunderstanding and conflict with captain my flight was canceled by him. І don’t remember his name correctly but it was five letters and both vowels (2,4) were “E”. Could you please to let him know that І would like to apologize for my behavior and assure him that it was nothing against him but more about hormonal issues which І believe every woman has more or less during the pregnancy. It is a really big issue for me and my body now. Once again, І do apologize for my actions and that conflict. І didn’t mean it.

Few options for beverages. Boarding: messy. You have a seating section for a reason (besides pricing). Also connecting flights from IST to the US are horrible. Four point checks and manual screening.

Pros: The food was the best airplane food I've ever had and the alcohol was free. (By contrast, our SAS flight cost nearly twice as much, left two hours late, causing us to miss our connection, the food was medicore, and the alcohol cost extra). The warm towels were a nice touch. I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane.
Cons: The seats were too cramped for an 11+ hour flight. One minor annoyance: the flight left in the morning and remained sunlit the whole way as we were heading west. The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well.

Cons: I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?

Cons: Turkish airlines do not care at all about passengers from other countries (other that western Europe and USA) - my flight was cancelled but the airline reps did not bother to tell 150 plus passengers until the end... passengers got angry and one rep took us to the hotel desk, confusing with boarding passes and passport control on the way - forcing us to waster 3-4 hours; we were provided hotel accomodation at midnight (flight was supposed to take off at 9 pm - maybe they were avoiding to spend on out meals???

Cons: Boarding was late and was very confusing. No special area for business class. This was not true when we were going to Cairo from Istanbul. The lounge there is fabulous but because our flight was late we didn't have time to go to the lounge on return flight.

Cons: DC to Istanbul: Broken bathroom lock. Not very clean aisles. Very few English speaking crew. Istanbul to DC: Ran out of second option lunch. This seem to happen frequently. Most of the crew members were strangely not around. This resulted in two overworked crew members and lots of trays sitting on our laps for sometime. I was curios what all the other ones were doing.

Pros: The flight was very pleasant. I was traveling wit my 2-year old and they brought him a little Batman vs Superman bag with an inflatable airplane, airplane binoculars, and slap on watch. They also brought him an activity book. I thought this was a lovely touch that helped keep my child entertained on our long flight. Adults also received a goody bag with grippy socks, slippers, eye mask, lip balm, toothbrush with toothpaste, and ear plugs. It was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: Someone was escorted off our plane when our flight landed for unknown reasons. This was the day after the terrorist attacks in Belgium at the airport and metro, and the crew asked the person being escorted off the plane if he had taken all of his bags. If this person was a terrorist, do you really think he would just tell you if he left a bag of explosives on board?

Cons: We missed the flight due to Turkish airline airport staff being incompetent. Flight was delayed to 4 pm from 12:35 the day before and we did not leave until closer to 6 or 7 pm. I would not recommend flying into Istanbul as the airport seems to be very disorganized, and might not totally be the fault of the airline. We waited for 3 hours to get new boarding passes for a new flight and then after waiting 3 more hours in the hotel line, Turkish airlines said "we are out of hotels" and left a large number of customers stranded at the airport. When trying to get reimbursed for the hotel, the staff at the airport was clueless. I won't be flying Turkish Airlines again.

Cons: The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something.

Cons: Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight.

Cons: I am not sure why this happened, but our daughter, travelling away from home for the first time, was targeted at every step of her journey. From the terminal in DCA to Cincinnati, to CDG. Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me.

Pros: Good sized seats and new aircraft, AUD airport is very pleasant and customer friendly. The vegetarian snack sandwiches are very delicious. I wish if they could offer them in every meal and to toddler passengers.

Our attendant was not customer friendly- infact I don’t recall her smiling once throughout the 13 hour journey. Overheard her being stern and rude with other passengers. I specifically asked the crew to deliver my stroller in AUD for transit since we were flying the next day and they didn’t fulfill our request. Luckily AUD airport has strollers so we used one and took it to our hotel. The fact that Etihad doesn’t provide hotel accommodation for 14 hour transits is beyond ridiculous. Really disappointed in this lack of arrangement for long haul flights.

Cons: So i was with ticketing requesting for seating, and she said run run your flight is leaving , i did not get proper seat and i ran to find out it was NYC flight and not DC. I asked more than one Eithihqd personeel and they did not know the difference bewtween Nyac flight and DC flight . Then came back to request for seating and they again made believe my security will be declines if i waste timein requesting seating. Got a flight between 2 males for a 15 hour flight and a run across the airport with a heart problem . I will never fly Eithihqd and also will not recommend to anyone

Cons: Movie selection in the entertainment needs more options. No basic amenity kit (like blinds, socks and toothbush) was provided in the flight like Emirates Certain sections of the Abu Dhabi airport are disappointing. Bathrooms in that particular section of the airport were really dirty and broken. Also travelling by bus to the airplane is not desired for such a major airline home airport. I read somewhere that airport is going to go through major renovation in 2019, so I hope it will become as good as Dubai airport

Cons: On the dreamliner flights they have tried to cram a ton of seats in so if your over 5'8 you'll be very cramped with your knees under the seats and a strange headrest jammed I to your shoulder. I fly about 20 or 30k miles a year in economy and this is easily the most uncomfortably designed seat I've been in. More over the staff was incredibly dismissive and rude to all I witnessed then keep a older woman waiting for 45 mins for water and then dismiss her when she asked a second time. The check in staff was no better.

Pros: Service is excellent, seats are comfortable, food is tasty and the entertainment system is top class. To add to all of this the Crew is really friendly and helpful.

Cons: On the flight to and from Abu Dhabi from DC, both planes had a mechanical problem with the toilet seats. The seats would not stay up, so they would come crashing down onto your spine as you were seated, which was painful. The only way to avoid this was to hold it back as you sat, which required you to twist around. This whole experience was uncomfortable and unsanitary. On the Abu Dhabi to DC flight, the toilet was self-flushing, as well. Except that it also malfunctioned and flushed every time before I stood up. This was an unnerving experience.

Pros: The food was pretty good for airline meals. We really made good use of the entertainment system which had many great movies and a kids interactive touchscreen. This entertainment system made the flight! Boarding was quick and easy and the ammenty packagfes (eye covers headphones socks ear plugs etc.) and a kids activity book was also great.
Cons: The bathroom floors were not cleaned often enough and after 10 hours in flight the flight attendants stopped answering the call buttons. Not usually an issue as I like to get up and walk back to request something during long flights but we had children this time and this is harder to do when they are sleeing on you.

Cons: All but one of the flight attendants, who unfortunately was not in my section, seemed rather terse and far less than kind. Simple requests from fellow passengers were regarded as inconvenient intrusions. The gal in my section would act like she had not heard the requests and then when the passengers would repeat themselves, she would snap, "Please wait till I've finished my service." She rarely would make eye contact with anyone while doing, "her service" and acted like it was a major inconvenience. It was a long flight but the crew on the way to New Delhi on Jet Airways were exceptional and made the flight as pleasant as possible. The Eithad crew lacked this attitude.

Cons: Plane was not maintained at a comfortable temperature. It was just downright hot! But that was our experience with all our Etihad flights. Planes are not maintained at comfortable temperatures. Food was awful - boiled chicken taste While handing out sandwiches and drinks stewardess just gave my husband whatever I asked for without checking with him. Many times he was overlooked by the stewardesses on either side as he was in a middle seat. I did not see a single onboard crew crack a smile, robotic service. Not impressed with my first Etihad experience.

Cons: There was a chicken sandwich offered in the middle of the flight that is by far the worst airplane food I've ever had

Pros: Crew are usually lovely and helpful with even the most difficult passengers.
Cons: The food quality is sub par and the entertainment is not adequate compared to other Gulf airlines. I enjoy traveling and did not enjoy the quality of food and actually ran out of movies to watch on a 14 hr flight! I think their focus is on Business and First class. I like this airline so wish it wasn't so.

Cons: I requested gluten free meals ahead of time, but the request was not fulfilled, making meals tough. The crew were very kind though and worked to make the best out of the situation.

Cons: Particularly on the flight from Abu Dahbi to Washington, D.C., attendants were rude with not only me, but other customers. They were short in their responses, forgot requests multiple times, and didn't make the little bit of extra effort to provide translators in Arabic, ensure an elderly lady next to me had the meal she needed, and secure the food options that we asked for. Our row was told us there were no more chicken meals for example, when we saw an attendant on the other side of the plane offer consistent chicken meals for multiple rows to come. They were just being lazy and didn't even want to ask.

Cons: Myself and my wife were assigned seats away from each other. Business class seating was not as good as in some other airlines that I have travelled. If husband and wife and family are travelling together on a long flight it should be possible to seat them close to each other

Now I have to get more Covid Testing done and that will cost approx. $700 and new plane tickets. JustFly.com's customer service is misleading and deceiving. And they blocked my number.

Pros: The flight was four hours delayed in Djibouti and there was absolutely zero, NO communication, whatsoever, provided by the Djibouti Ethiopian Airlines staff what was going on, how long the flight was going to be delayed, or if it was actually complete canceled for that evening.
Cons: Flight ET365 was scheduled to leave Djibouti at 19:00 but did not leave until 23:30, without any screen information or by the Ethiopian Airlines staff at JIB airport how long the delay would be or if the flight was completely cancelled. Extremely unprofessional and ignorant handling of the situation

Pros: Flight crew was nice and responded to problems well. More trash pick up and water service would have been nice as it was a thirsty, long flight. I was given more water when asked it just wasn’t freely offered.
Cons: The arrangement of the airport was disconcerting. To get to your gate you have to pass a another security point that you can not leave. The area was akin to a cattle yard. No bathroom, water, or amenities. You had to stay in your pen until boarding. Duty free was not allowed and had to be purchased on the plane for an additional cost. Not to mention the whole stopping in Dublin, Ireland for fuel without notice. There was nothing in my paperwork about it and we were only told to stay in our seats for the next hour or so while they refueled. We didn’t do that on the flight over was that was worrying and we were given no additional information.

Cons: The experience from the airport to the plane to Lome was beyond troubling. If ever you are flying internationally from NYC, never fly from Newark New Jersey. Nevertheless, upon boarding the Ethiopian Airline flight to Lome that was supposed to depart at 9:15 pm, the courtesy of the flight attendants was a bit mundane. My mother and I sat on the plane for about an hour after the time of the depart before inquiring why we have no moved and the doors were closed. The flight attendant responded with, "We shall be moving shortly." The air conditioner was barely on. My mother is battling stage 3 Cancer and is an older woman so, I feared for the safety of her health in such a condition. About 30 minutes passed, and we inquired again. This time with a different flight attendant and she said she just did not know what was going on. Other people on the plane began to panic in a sense as well because like my mother and I, they too had a connecting flight to catch. The pilot did not inform the passengers of what was occurring. So, at this point, all passengers on flight ET509 had been sitting on the plane for an hour and a half. By the time we were sitting on the plane for 2 HOURS with the doors closed the pilot finally informed us that they were waiting for some paperwork. He did not apologize or give more information as to why we were sitting on the plane so long, with practically no AC, and weren't informed about when we would be pulling off. About 10 minutes later, the plane began backing up while people were still standing because they were restless with the wait especially when we had a 10-hour flight ahead of us. The pilot then got on the loudspeaker stating that we will be pulling in the air shortly and for the flight attendants to be seated. The pilot did not apologize for the inconvenience or state how long the flight would be or what time we would land in Lome, Togo. Once we were in the air, there were many safety hazards administered by both the crew and pilot. The seat belt safety information was not given, the exit areas in case of emergency were not discussed, what to do in case of an emergency, where certain equipment would be in case of illness or an emergency, and we were still not informed about the cause of the 2 hours and 15-minute delay. My mother and I consistently checked the flight tracker and it did not show the duration of our flight, our location while flying, no flight information was displayed and as hard working paying passengers we should have had all of the information and not have to continuously ask to get a slight answer. Also, I am a vegan and they did not have food for me. But there was a flight attendant who gave me extra fruit which I greatly appreciated. The flight coming back to Newark was decent, going was the major issue. I pray we are accommodated for these great inconveniences. Because to have spent almost $3,000 and receive this type of treatment is both saddening and disturbing to me.

Pros: I took a roundtrip to Addis Abeba, Ethiopia from Washington, DC. The trip was 13 hours there and 16 on the way back (I think that included a refueling stop in Dublin). There was plenty of food and beverages provided throughout the flight - usually every 3 hours or so. Blankets, pillows, and several movie/entertainment were provided.
Cons: I would prefer the the main cabin lights be kept off longer.

Cons: The staff was rude, the boarding was a mess, the cabin was at least a little cooler than previous flight but still very uncomfortable, the amount of announcements was absolutely absurd!!! It was almost an announcement every 15 minutes. And the plane played music (terrible music) for 45 min extremely loud after taking off AND and hour before landing. It was so awful and so loud you couldn't even hear your own entertainment playing from your own headsets. I understand music while boarding and de-planing but there is absolutely no reason to have that playing that long after take off and hat soon before landing.

Cons: I'm 1.89 and knees are jammed on this flight. Legroom is better on their long haul flights.

Cons: They don't need to translate everything into Ethiopian language. There isn't a single person flying from Addis to Malawi (or Malawi to Addis) who speaks Ethiopian, so it's a waste of everyone's time and interrupts the movie, sleep, and meal.

Cons: Lack of customer service. Due to the delay in Washington, we missed our connecting flight. Though the EA personnel knew of our delay and missed flight, we still had to wait in line at the counter for 3 hours in order for them to put us up in a hotel and make other arrangements. Though they had 15 hours to do this for us, they did not. They served some customers and did not serve others. There was no communication whatsoever, they just handed us papers without explaining what was happening.

Cons: Overall, it's kinda depressing to fly with Ethiopian, the whole experience, from the colors of the uniforms, to the big African people, there was not enough room to seat next to other person, we and some people we met on the flight experienced the same thing. Addis Ababba was very not welcoming, we had a small tour at the city, the people are aggressive, we heard a lot of "farengie" all the time - "foreigners", everything was very expensive, because tourist have a lot of money... they are not afraid to touch you, even at the face. if somebody offers you guiding, they will ask for money later on and will take you to expensive places.

Pros: During my trip, I enjoy the entertainment. In addition the boarding was excellent.

Pros: I was prevented to travel , from Lisbon to Rome then the onward connection to Adis and and Juba subsequently , on the rounds of an an error on the booking by which my email address appears in between my name , unfortunately on the very same ticket that i used initiating my outbound trip. therefore i was forced to buy a new ticket which costed me 1,830 euros.

Cons: My 3 year old son was originally placed away from the rest of our family. Obviously we were not going to allow that. Our 1 year old was to have access to a sleeping carriage but to fix the problem with our sons seat they moved the rest of us to the center of the plane. (A spot with no carriage placement). This was not resolved - and we ended up holding our daughter for 17 hours.
