Flight was onetime, food on the flight was for purchase but it was vert nice, boarding was onetime and smooth.
I have to rate British Airways as a 10 out of 10 in almost all categories...comfort of the plane, food and service, boarding, notifications, crew, etc. In particular, the long haul flight from London to Seattle everything was truly top notch!
Their baggage handlers damaged several parts on my checked-in luggage...three zipper pulls and one clasp. What are they doing with the bags? How can they damage so many things in one fell swoop? This is a good quality Atlantic suitcase. Also, on the short flights, in this case Madrid to London, they are now charging for EVERYTHING...even water and coffee. They said it was a new policy as of 1/1/2018.
The crew and the plan and the service were all top notch. However, their new policy as of 1/1/2018 in which they even charge for coffee and water seems very misplaced and excessive.
Their new policy as of 1/1/2018 in which they even charge for coffee and water on short flights (Madrid to London in this case) seems excessive, even in this day of ala carte flying. :-(

The flight did eventually take off, unlike a few others leaving around the same time.
We were delayed several hours and were never told why. Mostly there were no Aeroflot staff at the gate to ask. When there was, they said they couldn't help us because our flight was a codeshare with FinnAir. At the last minute they switched gates, sending us all scurrying.

my luggage was misplaced and I didnt have it for 3 days.
I really enjoyed the whole flight - Finnair is definitely one of the best airlines.
I wish there was a bigger choice of classical music in the entertainment program.

I liked that there was a smaller airplane on LED - HEL route: it gives more "feeling of flying" than the bigger planes do.
I didn't like the fact that it was not indicated in advance (when the tickets are sold) that LED - HEL route is operated by a different airline, even though that airline is a Finnair's partner. It would have been better to have a complete information up front. But the airplane and crew were excellent.
the flight attendants were very nice.
the fact that my carry on bag was broken when we landed in Poland and no one from the staff took even a second to guide us about what can we do about it. the entertainment system was not good at all and the movie section was poor. our flight from TLV to Poland was canceled and they didn't know about it until 4 hours before the flight!!! Not sure I will fly with this airline again in the future.

Flight attendance kept waking me up to lift my seat so the passenger behind me can "enjoy their vegetarian meal". After I requested not to be disturbed ever again with that kind of requests, they woke me up for breakfast again. I was the only passenger around that they requested to pull my seat.
Crew was friendly. Modern aircraft.
Uncomfortable seating for long-haul flight. I survived, though.
