The lady behind the desk appeared to be junior staff and had to wait numerous time to ask her co-workers for help. By the time they helped her, she told me that it was too late to make the flight (even though I discovered later that the departure time was even postponed)! As a result, I arrived in Medellin 4-5 hours later than planned, causing me to miss a tour that I had scheduled for that afternoon, for which I was not refunded. First time using Copa Airlines was unfortunately not a good one."

Yet, I would see devil spawn on her phone laughing and joking and talking... but too busy to help the consumer. She was awful. Horrible."

Our flight from Panama City, Panama to Boston, MA USA was cancelled due to snow. Not the Copa fault; however, rebooking the flight from Santiago back through Panama to Boston was very difficult even though we call the day prior after noticing the cancelled flight on the Copa website. We were successful; however, it took multiple calls and multiple delays on hold to make it happen. No e-mail confirmation was ever received; however, we were able to confirm the flight via the website. We were also unable to confirm the flight status on the website. Maybe it was a special flight or something, but from the customers view, it was discomforting."

At least some of the terminal staff should have a good command of English and supervisors should be more willing to step in and help. I will try very hard NOT to fly with LAN again."

Cons: "First the check in process at Santiago airport was two hours long. They were totally understaffed and I believe they were dealing with problems of overbooking flights. The last hour in line was spent while in the front of the line while people from the back were being called ahead to check in because they were on other flights even though those flights were hours away. Secondly I preichecked in online the day before, chose a window seat, and when I checked in at the airport I was assigned a seat that did not match what I had chosen, which was also next to my partner I was flying with. There was no explanation until the gate at which point they said they changed planes and randomly reshuffled everyone's seats, after a call to the airline the customer service representative could not explain why anyone would ever say they "randomly reshuffled." The plane was overbooked so they could not accommodate my request to sit next to my partner. Finally at no point was there a warning about bringing water bought in the airport onto the plane (after security) but only upon boarding did they take the water away, some notice would have been helpful and saved a bunch of waste and money."

Disorganized boarding - AA downsized our plane and reassigned seats to everyone so families were separated & scattered (which meant more crying babies). They waited until the last minute to assign my seat and boarding group. We were not satisfied with the new seat assignments, but were given no option to select new seats. 3. Food was over-salted and over-cooked. 4. On-board "entertainment" was "Ricky and the Flash". Enough said."

Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

Cons: "The only reason for the one star, is that there was no entertainment or did on the flight. So those categories didn't apply. For me, in my flight experience, it's to get to where i need to be and not to be entertained. Food and drinks aren't needed, I can get that when i get to my destination."

They never walked around to see if people had seatbelts on or if seats were not incluned before takeoff or landing Also there was no entertainment at all!! Also not even a place to charge phones. Felt terribly cheated for the price I paid. Certainlt Not a low fair price for a low fair airline. Then we went in circles for 20 min before landing and the captain never even mentioned it.!!! We landed 20 min late There was also not enogh cups out to get our own water if we wanted and the bittle that was there was empty an No flight attendant to check on that!!! Weirdest flught ever. Felt like we were alone w no crew around even walkung down the aisle once to check on us!! Will definately not fly interjet again!!"

Said it was leaving at B8, changed to B15 and then nothing was on the board until approximately 10 minutes before the flight left. The fact that the first 8 rows were empty leads me to believe that many people missed their flights!!! No TV. video was on a loop that played out loud. No place for earplugs on the seats etc. Must be an oldish plane."

Boarding process is like every man for themselves and not communicated in English so basically you’re following the herd only to be told to wait. My seat and tray were not cleaned. There really is nothing in form of entertainment. No power to charge devices. Waited 45 mins, maybe more for baggage to come through baggage claim. Price was a deciding factor in choosing this airline and understand you get what you pay for. If the things above are important to you, stay away. You will be frustrated."

Then this flight Washington connection to Detroit from raleigh the pilot never showed up and extra hour went by, we got a new pilots but, then leading to faulty paperwork that took another hour and thirty minutes after boarding the plan to get sorted. When we got that sorted they then proceeded to tell us that the flight atendent had to leave and we had to wait another 20 min for another atendent to arrive before finally making our way to Detroit. Cons: "I didn't like that I booked a flight nearly 2 months ago to only find out I didn't have a seat. I do understand its legal but I don't get how you are putting customers first by causing this drama. I understand how that DR felt when your guards ripped him out of his seat. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to find babysitters and alternate rides all while the snotty lady at the desk kept saying "you may not be flying out today but I cant tell you for sure". So to insure the bottom line you overbook then bump people at your leisure? This little game effects many lives above and beyond just the passengers. I don't plan on booking with United ever again. Why would I? There are many other options that take customer service more seriously. I would love to speak to someone higher up in this organization. But, im sure that will never happen."

So due to this flight being late I had to pay more then expected to get my car out of the parking garage and got home an hour and a half later than expected which got me home at 3am versus 130am (original time I would have been home IF the plane would have been on time)."

When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app."

Cons: "The crew seemed very unpleasant. The guy (head crew) was very rude. When asking us to do things he just said it with a tone that was very unneeded. You could tell he didn't want to be there. The lady flight artendant was nice just facially her expressions make her look stand off ish. They talked about passengers to each other in the aisle ways and made comments that "they've talk to this lady each several times and she's not listening". Seemed like private conversation they could try and have."
