Cons: "Wasn't anything to not like other than the passengers that try to rush off plane the moment it arrives at the gate."

Cons: "The boarding took a long time then when they called for the zone 3 they told us to hurry up. The steward was doing everything by hand motion. You couldn't hear what he was saying. The plane was extremely noisy and we asked what the noise was none of the crew answered. This is not the normal service that I am used to from Delta."

An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section."

Then 45 minutes into the flight they said the landing gear light came on and they would be going back to change plans. My mother with Lymes disease was waiting 3 hours in Providence supposed to arrive a 11:50 instead 2:50am we were so tired missed a day of vacation."

When she showed up, she said she would not give seat assignments for another 15 minutes, so come back then. When I came back she said she wasn't giving seat assignments; go see the person checking in boarding passengers at the gate. That agent said she couldn't give me a seat, but watch the monitor for my name for seat assignments, then come back. Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

Pros: "I paid only $100 more round trip to DTW from SLC then I would have with other carriers, minus the hassle of connecting flights and paying fees that they don't tell you about up front (like $25 for a carry-on bag, oh and a another $12 per leg for a window seat). My experience, like my previous Delta experiences was absolutely enjoyable. From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

However, there were a large amount of people on the flight with connecting flights coming into Detroit. I am POSITIVE that several of those people missed their connecting flights as the flight attendants and crew did not allow for them to leave the plane first. As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

Pros: "The cabin crew serving the main cabin were exceptional. They were efficient, kind and FUN. We were an hour late leaving and 2/3 of the plane was worried about tight connections. They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable."

Pros: "There wasn't much to like. Just about everything was wrong. The plane was a newish 787, so it didn't feel old. Boarding went well because we complained about how tired we, at 70+, were because the flight was late and we'd been standing up; this resulted in us being boarded with some of the latish priority passengers."

The meals were mediocre and the cabin staff were just barely the good side of unhelpful, officious and unfriendly The flight was inexplicably 2 hours or more late in excellent weather. No apologies given, the flight that was originally scheduled for 8 pm left close to 11 pm. While boarding the only light is a purplish ambient lighting that made it impossible to read anything, including the safety material, until the inflight entertainment was loaded up (the lights are only controlled through software-actuated virtual buttons on the screen). The inflight entertainment system is hard to use, too, designed by idiots for use by geniuses. But the very worst thing was the stress caused by Virgin Atlantic in just about guaranteeing that we would miss this flight. On our outbound voyage in January, VA, for reasons nobody knows, booked an ADDITIONAL leg from JHB to CPT on BA at 12:30 pm, even though we were already ON the earlier 9:30 BA flight we'd booked and paid for. Then, when we didn't show up for this spurious flight (because we were already in the air) we didn't book (BA swears they have evidence that VA made this booking), our return flight CPT to JBG three months later was cancelled WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. If I hadn't been interested in knowing, the day before the flight, if the return BA flight had a meal, I would have showed up at the CPT airport in April and discovered that I had no way to get to the VA flight in JHB! As it was I spent an entire day trying to get back on the flight I'd already paid for. I advise EVERYONE who uses VA to reconfirm flights over and over. There is still no explanation for this. I will never NEVER fly VA again. They are not to be trusted."

While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

Cons: "When I booked my ticket, I booked a window seat in the exit row. When I got on the plane, my seat number was a middle seat not in the exit row. I saw right across from me there was an open window seat, which the lady sitting next to was using for her bags. I explained to the flight attendant that I had booked a window seat and wasn’t sure why I ended up in a different seat then I had booked. I asked him if he could ask the lady to move her bags so I could sit there, or if there were any other window seats available. He said no, that if I wanted I could ask the lady myself. Completely unacceptable. Of course she has no I treat in giving up this free extra space she has to me, and I’m sure she would have been happy to if a crew member had asked/explained the situation to her."

Turned back at the air port in Rio I had to spend an extra 13 days in Rio de Janeiro at my expense, three to see doctor and get vacine, plus ren day waiting period."

Needless to say I was on the hook for the time and the bill. I have flown Copa with satisfaction a number of times but this is enough to discourage me from ever flying them again and possibly ever using Kayak again."

She paid $10 for 2 bottles of water at the stand just before the gate and when she tried to come in again they did not allow her to go through... really a ridiculous situation!"

Then I changed flights once the connection was going to be missed and had a narrow margin to catch the newly assigned connection which was the last flight to town. The flight leaving SF was delayed to where I missed my last flight and had to stay the night in Seattle. It seems all of this could have been resolved if I could have gotten on an earlier flight, which I was trying to do since 4:00 that day. I didn't end up leaving SFO until 9:00 pm"

This flight had too many things go wrong for me to ignore. 1) The check in line up took exceptionally long even though there were many staff at the booth. 2) As people were boarding, one of the staff was handing out headphones as people were still attempting to navigate to their seat. The timing seemed very inappropriate and even in the way for new passengers. 3) My boyfriends carry on bag is larger than a small backpack, but smaller than a standard carry on bag. As he was boarding, he went to put his bag in the overhead compartment. My boyfriend is well over 6 feet and the Copa staff was insisting we put the bag at my boyfriends feet as his bag was not as large as others. We pay the same as the other passengers and deserve comfort too! Especially for my tall boyfriend who even in the largest of seats has a difficult time on planes. 4) The plane did not have individual entertainment units, which does not help on a 6+ hour flight. 5) I was VERY cold and asked for blanket on various occasions, and even offered to pay for one, but there was not on board, even though, as I exited I saw unopened ones in first class."

I appreciated the fact that they were being through for our safety, but catch that before you have people board."

Add delays to that and you have a sum total of a miserable trip home."

She scanned my boarding card.and I said to her that I am departing to Detroit. She said I can enter if I am a GOLD card member or purchase a day pass for $59.00. I declined. I am under the impression that United is a partner of Lufthansa.and that they should honor the same Business class privileges as Lufthansa. I found it rather discriminatory act on the part of this particular employee of the United lounge at Chicago airport. Pl. bring it to the attention of the Lufthansa and United . I will appreciate follow up on this matter."

If Spirit has a different policy for carry-on than other airlines they should let that be known in advance. I even reached out and called the airline in advance because this was my first time flying Spirit and I wanted to make sure everything would be set."

Cons: "Didn't like the extreme added on expenses. $57 for a checked bag to Seattle. No seat reservation fee going to Seattle. On the return $47 for a checked bag. Had to reserve a seat for the return. The fee started at $18 the website went down and upon getting back online the seat reservation fee increased from $18 to $20 in a matter of 1-2 minutes"

Cons: "I was told I could not be issued a boarding pass because it was too close to takeoff. I then purchased an outrageously priced one way ticket to get home on another airline. Before taking off on that flight, I received an email saying that my original flight was delayed 2+ hours, even though I had checked the status of that flight up until I walked up to get my boarding pass. This email was sent to me 5 minutes before the delayed flight was scheduled to take off. Spirit said that they could not help me at all and the issue ended up costing me $370. I will not be flying with Spirit ever again."

Cons: "Return Flight on 5/31 / #770 Detroit to Seattle: upon arriving at the Detroit airport learned we had to pay $59 per carry on bag. DID NOT have to do that for first flight from Seattle. Nickel & dimed the whole flight . Paid more than we would have with other preferred airline which we normally travel Impersonal service Broken seat in front of me so that tray did not operate & leg room - what there was of it - very compromised Staff on board are sloppy when giving instructions, especially on the intercom. Need speaking training. Talk way to fast, slur their words. Will NEVER fly Spirit again. You get what you pay for."

Also bag weight limit is 40 lbs compared to 50 in other Airlines. When you add up the price difference is minimal unless you are willing to travel with only the clothes you are wearing. Flight delay was the cherry on the cake. First time and last time for me."

Cons: "Due to Fox car rental triple charging my VISA I was instructed to speak to a manager when I returned my rental car. Knowing this would take more time, I arrived 30 minutes earlier to discuss the matter. It wasn't an easy fix. As a result, I arrived at McCarren Airport to check my bag at 10:55 p.m. for an 11:30 p.m. flight. I was told I was to late and would have to take the next flight to Detroit, which wasn't until 8:15 a.m. I pleaded and offered to take my luggage to the plane and carry it to the baggage workers, but it was to no avail. I was booked for the 8:15 a.m. flight to Detroit. I was very disappointed to be informed that it would cost me $99.00 to make the change."

Also, I am 6 months pregnant and travel quit a bit for work. It amazes me how flight attendants do not offer to assist with putting up my luggage. I never willingly chose spirit as my airline, I will do anything in my power to fly another but it just so happens this week was drastically cheaper so I had to select your airline and I am definitely not willing to do so again"

Missed the event and had horrible service. Just perfect. First and last timeI will ever fly spirit."

Cons: "We boarded and then we were asked to unboard with our carryons. We asked when or if we could reboard. They had no answers. We waited until 2:30am and were reboarded. (3 hour wait) Most ticket holders left out of frustration. Biggest problem was that they wouldn't tell us were our checked luggage was."

Cons: "I understand if the flight is cancelled due to weather conditions, but we were able to get on another flight at the exact same time to the exact same destination, just through another airline. In addition, prior to my cancelled flight I barely received any emails letting me know of the status change and received NO phone text message. Spirit should text every person if a flight is cancelled. Lastly, it has now been 6 full days and no one has reached out about my refund. I requested it at the airport but have not received anything in the mail or via phone call. Disappointing customer service and horrible management."

Cons: "Charge for certain seats, charge for bags, charge for a soda even on a 4 1/2 hr flight, no perks no reclining seats. Only good for short weekend trips. If you need to pack a bag that cant fit under a seat you would be silly not to fly a dif carrier because cost adds up and the perks still stay at zero."
