United Airlines team and the plaine were brilliant.
The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful.
I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home.
The flight crew was very welcoming and positive. They were attentive and ensures that every one had headsets, blanckets etc for the 8.5 hour flight.
Lacking food healthy food options. No salads or light bites available. The warm food that they did have was terrible and very salty. I wish their in-flight entertainment was not on our own devices because updates to the app are required which you wouldnt know unless you were on the plane and connected to their wifi.
I am muslim, but I forgot to arrange the kind of food I would prefer during the flight, and the gentlement I talked to said let me see what I could do to help you about it, and few minutes later came up with muslim meal. I was really happy! Thank you all again.
I was so pleased that United offered the flexibility to change my flight before the chicago snowstorm without incurring a change fee.
I paid for seats on my original flight. But ended up sitting separate from my traveling companion on the new flight.

Flight delayed by an hour
Nothing but headaches and made me throw out my $100 e cigarette that I checked under the plane half way through my trip from new york to vietnam. And they made me run all over the airport to address the situation only to find out once I arrived that they threw it out without my knowledge or permission
quick flight....seats were comfy for economy....nice crew....good overall experience....entertainment was okay for its selection on movies and music.
Food got me sick the next day. Wifi would have been great if available.

Korean Air is a cut above other airlines. The staff is professional and apparently very well trained. We received excellent customer service.

The airlines broke my stroller. Complained to the crew but they pointed us to 4 different directions! Now I have a toddler running around the airport since she is not strapped down to her stroller, heavy carry on sand a broken stroller to carry around incheon airport trying to look for their office that nodoby knows where it’s located at!!!! When we finally found the office, their answer was to contact Chicago crew when we get back! No solution for us for the mean time! I’ll be on vacation for a month! Now I guess I have to pay for a new one out of my pocket for their mistake!

The flight attendants were all helpful and nice, which is rare.
Of course flying economy for a long haul is pretty dismal. One the way back the bathrooms did not have running water. ewww! they let a bottle of water for people to use; no thank you!
