"Worst airline experience of my life, depending on how the rest of my “customer service” experience goes I may never fly american airlines again."

Cons: "I sat in seat 12A- the window was so hot it was burning my arm and I was extremely hot. Not sure if it’s from the engine heat or sun but it’s probably a mechanical issue that the 737 should address. Horribly uncomfortable trip."

Cons: "Usual complaints - chaos boarding and deplaning, poor entertainment options for free, headset not working. Had to deplane by stairs - we were parked next to an unused jetway."

Cons: "Another delayed American Airlines flight where the temperature in the cabin was as the overall apathy of the employees."

Pros: "Premium seating made a huge difference. Even though I am petite, I had a laptop, tablet and work that had to go under the seat in front of me, and I still had plenty of legroom."
Cons: "The seatback offered free streaming of AA entertainment on my tablet, but when I opened the browser and selected entertainment, the only option was to pay $9.95, so I just watched downloaded Netflix episodes. Plus the movies offered on AA streaming didn't look especially good."

Cons: "Due to missed connection, computer booked me on later flight, but in the wrong class (i.e., not first class as ticketed). Very helpful agent at O'Hare was able to remedy this though (didn't get her name. 6/25/19 at help desk near O'Hare gate L4, 7PM)"

Cons: "When I made the reservation the code indicated that we would be able to purchase food on the flight. When I asked, the flight attendant said, nope, only choice is a pack of two cookies. We were starving on the 3.5 hour flight."

Pros: "Very nice crew. The flight attendants were very patient and efficient. Flight was very smooth and surprisingly not overcrowded. For the first time, in a long time, when getting off of the plane it was very organized and not everyone rushing and pushing to get off. Everyone followed suit and did row by row, and no one pushing or shoving which is always nice."
Cons: "The only this I would suggest is that on a longer flight you should offer better deals on food/snacks."

Pros: "It was on time. Flight crew did a very good job and were very nice. The Meal was excellent as was the coffee. Overall, service was excellent."
Cons: "First Class needs a total redo as the seats were not as nice as on newer planes. Rest room in First Class is way too small and cramped. WiFi did not work well, and there were no individual screens on the backs of the seats. The First Class on this plane was really bad and needs some rethinking by American."

Cons: "This was actually an American Airline flight with other carrier names. I hate how AA tries to get passengers to pay more for seating. Even less than 24 hours before the flight they were trying to trick me into selecting a less desirable seat or pay an additional $93 per seat. It was only because we got to the airport early did better seats mysteriously become available. Even after selecting seats they still tried to get us to pay for "better" seating."

Cons: "Two hour delay in departure. They had an unspecified mechanical problem and had to get a different aircraft. They did not make any restitution to the passengers. Not even a free beer."

Pros: "this flight only takes an hour so really nothing is an issue. again, there was plenty of overhead storage so nothing ended up under the seat."

Pros: "Very friendly staff, clean airplane, great flight! Our original flight was delayed, but we still made it right on time for our connecting flight! I didn't realize when I was booking the flights that American lets you bring a carryon no charge, but United does not. You have to be a "Special" customer with them in order to be allowed a carryon, so we ended up paying an additional $50!!!"

Cons: "The flight was scheduled to leave at 630am. It's currently 945am and I'm still in the airport. Now a new maintenance issue was found. Flying is a first world luxury with first world problems."

Pros: "It was fine. Nothing special, nothing wrong. On time."

Cons: "I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

Cons: "Overhead compartments full. Had to check carry-ons to final destination before boarding. Groups 3 and 4 and most of Group 2 had to check their carry-ons due to AA allowing more than 2 carry on items per person and oversize carry on items for Groups 1, and all the Advantage classes called."

"They simply did a great job. Covid makes it more complicated but they rose to the occasion. Maybe too many announcements"

Cons: "I was sitting right in the front near the first class area, and I needed to use the washroom, I was refused and ordered to use only the other 2 available ones at the back of the plane. It’s not much to say, but it’s weird to have only 2 stalls for the whole plane, and one stall for only about a doze"

Pros: "I liked that they served three meals - one hot lunch, one sandwich, and one breakfast. Also that they frequently came through with water refills. Very good entertainment system, although it was off for rebooting for about the first 30 minutes in the air. French red wine blend was excellent. They seem to always have French wines."
Cons: "Attendants restocked the bathrooms, but didn't seem to clean them much (sticky floors - yuk). Wish they had some English newspapers on board to read. The food was only fair."

Cons: "The flight got cancelled way in advance and nobody neither airlines nor webjet.com informed us about it. Also, nobody could replace our tickets for the next day either. So our flight didn't happen and we had to drive to Washington DC to find a flight from there. So we will never buy any tickets from Kayak or Webjet.com! Extremely poor service"

On the flight got returning I arrived at airport at 730 for my 9 PM flight ....they knew it would be delayed earlier in the day but never posted it so ppl could adjust their schedules. My last 4 flights with AC have been disappointing"

Cons: "No overhead bin for centre section of row that my seat was in made it very inconvenient. It seemed to take far too long to offload the plane at the gate; we waited over 10 minutes for the door to open."

Cons: "There was a very long line to check in, the gate was changed prior to the flight, we couldn't get to the gate because the doors were locked, we had to stand there waiting for 30 minutes, and the flight was delayed by 90 minutes"

It was a codeshare with united but neither would united help in any way because it was booked through air Canada."

Cons: "flight attendant burned my stomach and belly ,she fck lazy gave me and put a broken cup of hot tea into another good cup instead of threw that broken cup away and should give me only one good tea cup , so the fluid drained out between two cup, and fck burned me . How the stupid she is !!! After that they didn't come to ask me anything until i come to show them and complained , and requested a report. I got a picture and all evidence to show .i swore that its fck hot and burned me too...ooo....bad !!"

Cons: "They lost our checked baggage. Luckily we did get them back within 20 hours."

Pros: "New aircraft 787. Direct flight from Israel to Canada, no layover in Europe. That was nice. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The worst part was the airport in Toronto. Very confusing to get around in. And having to fill out custom papers for Canada when I wasn't staying in Canada or leaving the airport. Didn't like that. But the service of Air Canada makes up for the airport, I would use their service again."

Pros: "1/2 hour late in departing. 2 1/2 hours. Sitting on Tarmac on flight to Toronto. Too crowded on plane"

Pros: "The flight attendants were GREAT. The seats are crammed so close together that I had trouble getting my under the seat suitcase wedged in. On other airlines, the suitcase fits very nicely underneath the seat, allowing me to rest my feet on the suitcase. I am on the short side, so having the suitcase to rest my feet really helps. On the flight to Toronto, my daughter had to do it for me. On the return flight, the sweet flight attendant put the bag in and took it out for me. I really appreciated that"

Cons: "Waiting over 72 hours and my bag has still not arrived. Both planes were delayed, even with the 2nd flight being delayed I still had to run in order to make it. Being on time is not something Air Canada has figured out."

Cons: "I needed to change my flight on Saturday morning to a later flight. After being on hold for 30 minutes, Air Canada said I had to go through Kayak to make changes. I called Kayak and the offices were closed. I had to buy a whole new ticket. I will only use Kayak again out of desperation. Anton Maillie"

Cons: "Flight was delayed for hours first without any communication, later with very unclear communication. Spent multiple hours at the airport just to have to fly out next morning at 6:30am. Wasted day, wasted night. Delays can happen, but according to the finally communicated cause this could all have been communicated early on (crew not available in Cleveland, that was two flight legs earlier)."

Cons: "Boarding at the Toronto airport was an absolute mess. One of the "gentlemen" scanning tickets was moderately rude to people waiting to board. Which I mean, I get it, it's a rough job, but dude. I don't wanna be here any more than you do. Stow the attitude and scan the ticket. The food was eh, but that's all airline food. There isn't much space between seats so you're bumping elbows most of the ride, and during a 13 hour flight, that gets old real quick."

Cons: "Boarding process chaotic. Seemed to be a new process that involved multiple checks and was not well organised. Entertainment system had not been loaded with the latest films and we're still from previous month."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours for mechanical issues and so we missed our connection to Frankfurt that evening, and any other possible connection to Europe. Apparently Kayak had been notified that the flight was delayed, but had not relayed the message. If they'd informed me earlier I might have been able to rebook myself on an earlier flight, but I no longer had that option when I arrived 2 hours ahead of my scheduled departure. Although my arrival to my destination was delayed over 24 hours, I was only given a hotel room and enough to buy breakfast the next morning. No vouchers for future flights, no upgrades to an empty first class on the flight to Frankfurt the next evening, no apologies. The women at the gate tried to help me, but the AirCanada representative who I had to call to try to re-book flights was incredibly rude and condescending. She repeatedly talked down to me, and refused to book me on an alternative flight I found because she "insisted" it wasn't in her system. She later found it in her system, and told me that she would not book me on it, but that I would need to get the gate agents to do it due to the "tight connection" I would then experience of one hour through London Heathrow, the same as my originally booked flight via Air Canada in Toronto."
