My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

The rest of the flight was quiet, uneventful, and pleasant in part due to their good nature. I cannot have gluten or soy, and I was brought a complimentary bag of potato chips that were gluten free - the one and only time this has happened! I hope to fly with this crew again someday."

Cons: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

Cons: "When all of the passengers and crew are at the listed gate well before boarding and the gate is changed to a different terminal it adds a lot of stress to the situation. To the crews credit they did not let it effect their professional attitude. I was highly impressed by the employees of the airline to keep things on time and positive. Overall that made the difference between being a bad experience and becoming one of the best flight experiences I have had in years. This flight crew should be considered an example of how to treat customers well."

It was the last flight out for the night.... Had to sleep at the airport for 5 hours until another flight in the morning. The cabin was obnoxiously bright as a result, and it was difficult to avoid being distracted and irritated by the flickering. United should have those screens turned off unless users pay for them-- it would save valuable energy too, wouldn't it? I was also frustrated that we were delayed a number of times because of mechanical difficulties, but I'm grateful that we took off knowing everything worked. Between the late in-bound crew and the mehanical hold ups, we could have all taken the bus and arrived sooner."

The wifi was also spotty. Given the poor state of that equptment, I guess I should be happy we got to our destination at all."

I don't know why we weren't given the option of the earlier flight when we made our reservation to avoid the long layover. THere would have been enough time to make the connection. Not only was there no consideration of giving us compensation for food, but there was only a minimal snack and a beverage on the way to Cleveland. The airline told us the delay had to be at least 4 hours to get a coupon for food. Well, it was 6 hours before we arrived at our destination. The return flight made a potentially wonderful experience leave much to be desired. What can YOU do for US? I was flying with my husband. I would think twice before using you again for a trip."

Cons: "No entertainment on the plane at all. Also no food. We had breakfast that day and that was it. There was no time to get some food during the stopover in denver, so we ate nothing until 9 pm that day. Employees were kind of rude too for no reason."

Pros: "The security line to the Frontier concourse was unbelievably long, and even though Frontier knew this, it insisted on closing the plane door right on time, at 10 minutes before departure, even though 6 non-related passengers were going to miss the flight. If they had kept the door open 2 extra minutes, all 6 passengers would have made the flight. Ultimately, the plane left 10 minutes late, so 20 minutes after the door closed. I've had enough of Frontier's inflexibility and will gladly pay a higher fare for a different airline."
Pros: "Frontier encourages you to check your bag by offering a lower fee for checking than carrying the bag onto the plane This made getting into and out of the plane so much quicker The seats were comfortable enough and I had my own food and beverages so did not need to purchase any."
Cons: "My reasonable priced ticket went up $104 by the time I paid to check my bag and pick a seat. I would rather gate check my bag and get it when I exit the plane because it took over an hour for it to come to baggage claim."
Pros: "The flight was relatively short, and once we boarded we moved out pretty quickly. Bags were delivered quickly as well at the end of the flight"
Cons: "THe flight was delayed by close to two hours, but more surprising was the amount of extraunexpected money we had to spend for basics-close to $30.00 each to "pick" seats, $130.00 each for baggage (yes you have to pay for any luggage beyond one personal item like a purse), money for food, etc. There are not even basics on the lfight such as blankets, and the seats don't recline. Overall, not an airline I would choose again as the "bargain" price turns out to be full of hidden costs that weren't clearly explained upfront"

Cons: "My luggage filled with Christmas presents for my family was lost. Frontier doesn't even have the capability to scan a checked bag recite to locate a missing bag. They also did not even have a baggage claim counter like all of the other airlines. I had to go up to departures to the ticketing counter. They were not able to me where my bag was. My flight was a direct flight from Denver to Cleveland so I was incredibly surprised my luggage was lost. I had to handle the whole thing myself. I called Denver airport and was told 2 bags didn't make it on my flight. I was told they couldn't verify it was my bag but it "probably" was. I rushed out Christmas morning to the Cleveland airport to get my bag on the flight it was supposed to be on. It wasn't there. I sat in Cleveland airport for 3 hours on Christmas Day. I was told I would be compensated for my troubles from one Frontier worker then when I got my bag and asked about it I was told no. I will NEVER fly with them again. You get what you pay for....cheaper flight with the worst possible customer service."

The check in desk assigned us seats but didn't tell us. The gate personnel fixed this. The flight was fine but the seats were absolutely the most uncomfortable I've flown on in many years."

Pros: "I read other's reviews about being charged for a carry on; my experience was that I was only charged for checking a bag. It did add an extra $80 to my total expenses but considering how cheap my round trip flight was, it was by no means a problem. The crew on both flights was extremely nice. On both flights we arrived at our destination a little early. I got water at one point and was definitely not charged for it. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be using Frontier Airlines again."

I have to fly to Florida in March and I don't believe I will fly frontier due to this incident and the price I paid plus my check in attended was very rude. We had not flown for three years and would have appreciated a free soda and some peanuts, but apparently those are things of the past on flights. We also remember the days when flight attendants were all slim and whose make-up was appropriate. One of those on our flight had on fake eyelashes that looked like she might have not been able to see through them, if an emergency had arisen where we might have needed her help. She boarded the plane in stiletto heels which she later shed."
