With a business flight, having a designated seat in the aircraft, I was denied boarding at the gate at last minute without any genuine explanation. The staff used profane language when asked for reasons. Viva overbooked and passenger had to pay for it. The food voucher that was provided did not even cover the the full meal and water for a single person. It should not be running in service.
Super BAD Everyone Behind the counters in Cancun Not Helpful At All And then on the second flight I Had to purchase Cancun - Guadalajara one of the flight Attendants Kick Out a Couple Out of the Plane and that Flight Attendant Had a Mask So People wouldn’t take pics of her and she was kind of Mean ! I Would NEVER Flight VIVA EVER THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL ! People think They Are Cheap but They Arent!!!
It was cancelled at the last moment and the customer services seemed unnoticed to this change and hanged me off the phone the first time I called.
No empathy for my situation, arriving at the check-in counter 5 minutes after the deadline to deposit baggage due to a very delayed incoming intercontinental flight. The attendant simply stared past my shoulder and picked up the microphone to announce a "reminder that all passengers must arrive at least one hour before the flight" before speaking to the passenger behind me. I understand that there are rules above deadlines but at least show some damn empathy. It was Christmas morning and I'd been travelling for 20 hours for goodness sake!
The terminal and gate was never the right one announced in the Viva App, neither in screens, moved from one terminal to another
They changed the booking I had twice. I got an email last night at 10pm (which I missed of course). Went to the airport this morning and found out it got cancelled due to plane maintenance issues. They offered a flight for tomorrow morning and I just got an email with cancellation notice. Again!! I would not recommend booking with this airline.
They need to have enough immigration forms for every one. They should offer free water to everyone, unless some one needs bottled water
Delayed 6 hours! finally able to board, then had to wait 45 minutes for the plane to fill up. Mid flight when food service started, they had nothing to offer with the exception of chips and cookies. Worst flight ever!
They not allowed to bord flight, arguing that was cancelled the flight reservation. No chance to find and explain answers, very bad treated by Airline staff… At the end we buying a flight ticket with Aeromexico. Is a low Price Flight Company (cheap), as it is cheap treatment for customers… seme with Kiwi .com app. With we did our reservation. with KAYAK.com never get this kind of treatment.
It is very uncomfortable to have the official timing saying on thing and the airline saying other things. We couldn’t have a proper dinner with kids below 5 years and the hassle to board just isn’t functional
The flights were on time, the ground crew and on board crews were kind and efficient. The free snacks for Premium+ were good, similar to US First Class snacks. The plane were clean and bright! Complaints? The seats were worn and the seat-back pockets were missing. Overall, I'll book again with Volaris. Ignore the negative social media posts, understand what your fare includes, buy the add ons you need. We had no problems with our personal items and carryons.
Is was a good short flight with some turbulence! I would fly Volaris again.
We had boarding passes for the next flight but we could not catch the flight in the small airport just because volaris closed the boarding at the counters an hour before for which we had to sepnd almost 3+ hours to catch next flight. There are hardly anyone who can speak english, but thank God, we have found an young man who could not only speak English but helped us book for the next flight. The air crafts are noisy and scary sometimes to hear that squeeking noises during the take off and during the flight. They do not even offer a cup of coffee for free in flight. The prices are super high and the services are zero. That’s pretty much for this airlines in summary.
The worst. Kayak sent notification at 2am and 10am regarding the delay. Then sends a notification an hour before original depart time that it will depart on time. I had to wait 8 hours at the airport. My family had to pay for lodging in Guadalajara where I was landing for pick up.

For the price, you pretty much can't beat this airlines. As far as comfort, you could do a lot better, but it'll cost you. Over all cheapest way to get from point A to point B.
Our flight was delayed both ways going there and coming back an hour plus. I have taken Volaris many times and this problem seems to be more common each time.
Be prepared to pay extra for everything! I'm not sure I really saved any money?
The flight was early arriving. I love that when I go to collect my luggage, that there is no wait time luggage is on spinner waiting for me. There was no food served nor any entertainment. Seats are a little snug, front to back. But a quick flight.
Viva Aerobus Is honesto the worst airline and I don't think I'll fly with them ever again.
