Again poor use of old aircraft and old business class seats that show there age.
Service and food were very good, I liked it a lot. I liked the little gifts we all got , but I don’t think I’d fly on Turkish airlines to go to New York from Istanbul or from New York to Instanbul anymore. Flight is way too long.
We liked the comfort and seats. The crew was not very friendly nor did they check on us to see if we needed anything. Had to ask for water several times
The rules regarding business class lounge hotel/room access were very confusing. Between flights we had an 11 hour layover in Istanbul, but were denied a room to rest as our layover was too long?? Keep in mind that we arrived there at 3:30am after a long flight. Even multiple Turkish airlines employees were inconsistent with the rules. We ended up paying a high price at the Yotel in the airport in order to get some rest. Good thing I did, as a medical emergency was declared on the flight from Istanbul to Atlanta and I was apparently the only physician on board. Luckily I was able to stabilize the passenger and the flight wasn't diverted. The crew called an overhead announcement for a medical doctor, but insisted that I show them a copy of my medical license which I did. Very strange in my 35 years as a physician and responding multiple times to inflight medical emergencies over the years. I was very glad the passengers issue was resolved, but an acknowledgement of at least a thank you from the crew would have been appreciated.
I wasn't able to bring my little dog with me, because of the feedback team's extremely slow response. How are they even allowed to operate with this paste??
The sleeper seats, the staff, and the food was truly delicious. I loved the mocktail options.
Very small and cramped aisles and seats. Food was poor but the fresh hot roll and hummus was good. No cans of soda given but they had small bottles of water. Crew was nice and pleasant and kept bathroom clean.
In sharp contrast to the modern glitzy airport, boarding facilities were primitive. Passengers had to board buses and walk up steep stairs in bitter cold with carry-on baggages. I found no reason why aerobridge was not provided.
I have been flying Turkish Airlines for the last 5 years it’s always great service, on time , excellent food, only one thing wasn’t reliable is their on board WiFi most of the time it doesn’t work.
I could not check in online 24 hours before the flight. Very inconvenient. Flight was delayed.
Flight staff and all was fine. Food always sucks on planes so nothing new.
The flight crew were very helpful. The seats were very close together. There was barely room to sit without touching the person next to you.
I’m an EP on AA every year for more than a decade but this was a very pleasant and surprising experience. Clean and sizable plane for HOU to CHI. 5 row first class. And excellent food in first class the steak option was really good. Your flight attendants even better. Seat 5A
The entire experience convinced my wife, Cathy, and me that traveling Polaris on United is the only way we’ll fly in the future. From check-in and baggage drop to the end of the 12-hour flight, the customer service was exceptional, with numerous staff members exemplifying the very best in care. On board, Andre, our primary crew chief, was sincerely friendly, a consummate professional, and, along with Freddy, one of his team members, truly among the best of the best. The captain even came through the cabin to chat with passengers—a wonderful personal touch, especially on such a long journey.
Not enough veg food available for passengers. I actually did not get the veg food and was told it was over, and I starved the entire flight duration.
Plane was was better than th YVR to ORD flight but was a fraction of the distance. Fly your better planes on longer distance flights.
In this flight we had selected seating for our family in the middle of the plane in a 2x2 format. The airline changed them to the very back row of the plane and split them to 3x1. Why pay for seats that allow seat selection if the airline will just move them to the worst seats in the plane?
The flight was canceled. Got rebooked to Chicago and when we arrived our luggage where to there. They were going to our original destination the day after. They would not deliver them to our house. We had to go pick them up.
Upgrade planes to have larger overhead bins, especially on this popular route and first class. Easy flight to Chicago, good service in first class. Can't wait for seatback entertainment to be brought back. I like the free wifi and messaging with T-Mobile. Although, the tray tables are not big enough to work even on a small laptop - so why is it called "business" class? Flight attendant said that the flight was too short to even serve water. I've flown that route several times, and that is the first time I ever heard that. No chargers in the seats. Rough landing.
Pilots were great on take off and landing. Flight attendant were very kind. The only problem was take off was later than the scheduling.
Airline food is airline food, but the plane was wonderful and the seating comfort outstanding. One of my best flights in quite a while.
Everything went well. I will fly with Lufthansa again. And use Kayak whenever I book flights

Always having a good experience with Lufthansa. I prefer them over anyone else. Sometimes prices need to be more affordable. Munich airport is clean and good, services are available and it’s overall a good experience. I have been flying with Lufthansa for close to a decade and I hope many more to come.
The Business Class seating did not stack up to other airlines that we've experienced. There was no privacy and the seats in recline for sleeping were not well padded and comfortable. There was no mattress pad provided either. The crew was not as respectful and accommodating. We have no specific complaints regarding the crew except to say we've been treated noticeably better on other airlines, for example, British Airlines. Lastly, we were immensely disappointed when we got to the Denver airport as our flight was significantly delayed, granted, due to a lightning strike in a nearby airport, but what made this worse was our discovery that we could not use the United lounge for the 3 1/2 hour delay. We were told our Business Class tickets could only be used for outgoing overseas flights. This left us scrambling to eat the sad restaurant offers at the Denver airport. All in all, we would not book another Business Class flight on Lufthansa.
The flight attendants were superb and the service was outstanding. Some passengers with small children were very rude and inconsiderate, kids were constantly crying and some were running around the aisle unsupervised.
+ Clean, modern plane. - Despite the cabin had only 50% occupancy I was cramped in a row with 2 other people. Almost all other rows had only 1 person. I would have expected the airline to offer assistance other than a flight attendant to tell people in the back of the plane to find available seats. Next time I will not purchase an upgraded seat and hope I get my personal row for free.
Delay with the flight with one day later, and then from Frankfurt 11 h delay, this is unacceptable, what a shame
Excellent staff, overall good flight. However, quite a few crying toddlers for 10 hours makes it less pleasant
