Finally got to Los Angeles after 48 hours. Still haven’t gotten luggage 2 days later and no communication on when to expect it."

Pros: "We were flying on their newest Airbus A350-900. It’s a bummer. More seats, less room, not a very nice experience for eight hours. Packed in like sardines. I have travelled LH to Eu the last six summers. I intend to look for a new airline."
Cons: "They have cut back on everything: food, service, breathing space. Their breakfast was truly a joke-a small muffin, four tiny pieces of fruit, and a package of two Oreo cookies. For breakfast -agh. And their reduced staffing barely made it around to serve coffee before we landed."

Cons: "Crew was not helpful. There was clearly not enough room for everyone's hand luggage, and the crew members simply shrugged their shoulders. I flew with hand luggage on lap because bins were full."

Cons: "The connecting flight to Bremen from Munich was missed due to delayed flying from Munich. Then we had a reconnecting flight and 15 minutes prior to boarding it was cancelled. No more flights to Bremen so we then were redirected to a flight to Hamburg. We had to fly from Munich to Vienna and then from Vienna to Hamburg. The flight from Munich to Vienna was delayed by 40 minutes which made us lose the connecting flight. We had to wait until the next morning for a flight to Hamburg, where as we arrived our luggage was lost. The staff ensured us that our connecting flights were waiting for us, however the flights had left 20 minutes prior to our arrival. The staff was nice but the communication was poor."

Also though I had booked the ticket with united as a MileagePlus member, I didn’t get priority boarding, not could we pay to upgrade our seats at the gate desk. Overall disappointing experience as a member of one of their affiliate membership programs."

Pros: "A bit of a delay but annoucements and alerts were perfect! Felt well informed, every step of the way. Crew was pleasant and efficient. Smoothe flight! Will be a pleasure to fly with you again!"

Pros: "Once onboard the flight was excellent and trouble-free. The crew were efficient and pleasant to passengers. I must give a big credit to Lufthansa for its great on-board entertainment system and good quality screens."
Cons: "Boarding in San Jose: For the first time I saw a Lufthansa person physically checking the weight of cabin backage at the gate. This was was not very pleasant experience as he approached us asking questions why we had so much cabin baggage, when our children were in bathroom and assumed me and my wife had 4 pieces of baggage, when we had 1 each and then left without apologising."

After this we were given great service until half way through the flight when I was becoming quite thirsty and kept trying to signal the flight attendant based on my help button, but no one came, so I had to stop a flight attendant that was passing so I could ask for some water to drink. Overall, the flight was OK, even though I felt a little crammed in my seat and the need to fish for a flight attendant just to get water was a hassle."

Cons: "This Air Canada flight was operated by Lufthansa and was cancelled due to the strike. So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."

I'm only 130 lbs. can hardly wonder how a bigger person can handle those tiny seat spaces. Also, those seats are so uncomfortable with the way they contour one's back. No support and very very uncomfortable, I had mid back tension pains the entire 12 hour flight."

This was at supper time; we wanted to eat in the terminal but were rousted from two different lines to change gates. We couldn't stop running back and forth long enough to eat! I got updated info more quickly from Kayak than from United, despite having signed up for email and text notifications and having the United app. Come on!! Eventually we were marched down to a narrow hallway, crowded with passengers from two other departing flights, held in formation by obviously harried gate agents and finally led outside to the ramp to board the plane. The worst boarding experience. Ever. Give me Southwest anytime."

Original excuse was inbound delay, although plane was there for 6 hrs already. Passenger soiled himself in cabin and there was no ventilation."

Cons: "The airline cancelled my return flight home from a Venice without notifying me because they said I was. “No show” on my previous flight over. This was absolutely not true. To cancel someone’s flight and not alert them is highly unethical."

He told me to “wake up” and go run after my flight then while going after my flight he yells at me to come back. He apologized a few minutes later and then proceeds to yell at me again. My flight was canceled and reset for a later time. I have prior medical conditions that Edwin Rodriguez agitated through consistently harassing me at the help desk and am now in distress. I’m being relocated due to active duty military service and this is how you treat military veterans and their families."

Cons: "I hate being charged for one bag. It should be included. I'm glad I wasn't bumped off and dragged off the plane bloodied, it was a concern. Especially because I'm an Asian person."

Cons: "I had one small bag and just did the economy and was going to put it under the seat. The guy at the checkin did not allow my bag and made me check it EVEN THOUGH it fit in their mock tray. He said I squeezed the sides 1 inch and that it just need to go in the tray by gravity. That is complete BS. As long as it fits under the seat and I am not putting my feet in others space thats is all that matters. Check in people at least one guy in Denver needs to be retrained."

I would rather hop on a 15-30min flight than go through the hassle of renting a car. BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"

Customer Service was helpful and able to rebook and provide overnight hotel accommodations, but it was a very slow process that clearly frustrated some customers even more. Clearly not anyone's fault, but still frustrating and not a great flying experience."

The boarding pass in my hand matched the flight and time with the seat I picked out online when I purchased the ticket. Then a bad storm went through and many flights were cancelled. About 9 hours later with a new boarding pass, I went to the gate to board and was told once again that I was not on that flight even though I was holding a new boarding pass!! What is going on here!? How can this happen twice to the same person, let alone happen at all??!"
