One member of MEX staff claimed the baggage is going directly to destination, another said that it won't and i need to pick it up myself and do god knows what with it. LAX->MEX flight delayed by 30mins, 1hr change time. Everybody relaxed just me loosing all my boozy contraband as i had no choice but to put my registered luggage thru security."

Cons: "Air Canada knew we were going to miss our connection, as the flight was delayed over and over, yet the staff on the ground insisted all connections would be made, there had been no missed connections all day. As soon as we got to Montreal, we were told due to ice in Montreal Air Canada had been cancelling flights and many connections couldn't be made all day. By that time it was too late to call Vancouver and set up alternative plans for the following day, which is when we would finally leave Montreal."

Cons: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."

There was no inflight entertainment for an 8+ hour flight - you had to rent iPads which is crazy these days. We were late to takeoff due to airport traffic which isn't the airlines fault but then because the customs baggage scanning system went down at Montreal my husband missed his connection - was eventually put on my flight after two trips to ticketing and three calls to aircanada but his bag never arrived in Chicago. We are still waiting for it."

My husband had the regular option and also commented on how it was very good (for airplane food). Only thing he didn't like was the light lunch that was a heated up wrap. At that point, we were almost home and it didn't matter. Nice flight! We will be back!"

Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."

The system is so disorganized that you have to keep asking employees what to do and it seems to change as you go from one line to the other. It's not hard to design good lineups. Have good sineage in many places and have one line for one purpose, not many lines in different places for the same purpose that change with the whims of the staff. I'll be attempting to fly with other airlines next time as this airport system is just too much."

Transborder flight, 1:20 hours, single seats so both window and aisle, two fantastic pilots (no flight attendants) who did everything, young, friendly and in charge, smooth trip, and I was in seat 2 and looking directly ahead seeing the pilots' view! I didn't need snacks or other entertainment. Will not hesitate to take this flight / Air Canada / small planes again."

At that point we had to stand for 1.5 hours in line in customer service with no information as to why this had happened. By the time we were with customer service it was too late to go to a hotel to sleep, so we had to sleep in the floor of the airport. The flight boarded to leave by 8 AM but we were again delayed in the runway 2 more hours. The last explanation the gave us was that the copilot never showed up. I do not recommend flying with United Airlines."

She then assigned us seating in separate rows and handed us new boarding passes. No explanation. We looked at them and handed them right back and said no thank you, we had purchased tickets together. She said, "this flight has been oversold" and motioned for the next passenger to step up. This really upset my husband who told her, "Wait, we are not finished discussing this!" He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules."
Pros: "It was overall a wonderful flight"
Pros: "It was a direct flight"
Cons: "Even though I checked in early I was not assigned a seat. I had to wait to see if people didn't show up to claim a seat. For a red eye it is difficult to notify family if you don't get on the flight because most likely they will be getting up early to pick you up at the airport. Luckily I got on the flight but the stress of waiting was tough. I was treated just as if I was on standby yet I purchased my flight ahead of time."
Pros: "Easy mobile boarding pass was great on the way to Mexico City. I was kept up to date on the delay coming back to Houston."
Pros: "The United app was awesome so I could watch movies on my phone during the flight."
Cons: "My first flight was delayed and caused me to miss my next flight which forced me to have to stay over night in a hotel and take a new flight the next morning. I had to pay for all the extra costs of the hotel, taxis and food. It was very frustrating that they didn't hold the plane just a few minutes since there were a lot of passengers ( including myself) who ran to the gate."
Cons: "Such a long flight and no good food"
Pros: "They serveded drinks and I have to buy a sandwich that it was not good at all"

Pros: "The Mexican service always is so kind, excellent pilot, the trip was so windy, and I felt secure. You were beyond my expectations, we arrived a half hour before, thank you so much."
Cons: "Was told no flights for two days after flight was cancelled. Then was told we needed to switch airports via taxi on our own. Then switched to Delta airlines where I had to pay another $60 to check my bags."
