We didn't appreciate the fact that the airline didn't let us know in advance that we couldn't buy drinks at the airport. That was a waste of money. The food wasn't good at all though. The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."
Pros: "Copa allows two bags of 50 pounds to be checked along with carry-ons. They provide a full meal on each flight (at least that we've been on). The crew is accommodating, even providing more than one drink. The chairs are fairly comfortable."

Pros: "All of my grievances regard the Panama staff at the airport and on the plane, the staff and services at O'Hare were top notch. Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

So we lost our flight to Cusco and ruined our entire first day of touring in Cusco..... your system or multiple check in/ cashier/customer service counters is a disaster and it makes zero sense. I will NOT fly latam again."

Next, we were told hourly-wise to check-in at the gate to find out when our flight would leave. This was a hassle and caused me a lot of stress since I had to make new plans with a new itinerary for my arrival in Chile where I was supposed to meet my elderly parents. The staff kept telling me they didn't know when we'd leave asking me to check back four times before they were able to give me a definite time. Aweful experience that caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience."

There should be a $300 change fee and that's it. At most. The entertainment would be good if I could hear it - but I couldn't. The sound was terrible. Uncomfortable seats. Barely slept. Overal terrible experience. Also turn on the damn entertainment while we are waiting on the tarmac - why wait until we are in the air? Almost every other airline - all the good ones - Emirates, Lufthansa, and other quality airlines - will let you access the in flight entertainment as soon as you sit. But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

I've flown to Europe with various international flight companies and LATAM has equaled such but what put it above others was the personal attention when I had a problem with luggage. In Lima, Peru there was a connection and an attendant named Sebastian went the extra mile contacting luggage handlers with his cell phone to ensure my bag was recovered and waiting at the gate of my connecting flight en route to Buenos Aires. What I can't understand is LATAM waiting until I arrived to the airport to tell me that it was delayed (instead of calling or sending an email) and told me that it is MY FAULT for not reviewing the website. In addition, at the counter they told us that we didn't need to do a line again for dropping bags in the morning. However, when we arrived the next morning we had to do a 40 minute line. The pain was compounded by a member of the staff yelling at me for asking him to be moved to a quicker line because I could miss my flight. I've always flown on Lan (now Latam) and I've never had this bad experience before. I'm really disappointed!!"

I spoke with another flight attendant requesting to speak with this supervisor again, she said that I rather voice my complaint through latam.com and the mentioned supervisor, not only lied to us, but never showed up. It appears that latam needs to reinforce their staff training or perhaps to renew their staff supervisors and train them to avoid unnecessary lies to their passengers."

I will never fly with LATAM again."

The Flight was also delayed but it was never explained why despite dozens of questions from passengers. This caused a missed connection flight and forced us to stay overnight in Chicago with nothing but a $12 food voucher. When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

The FA was rather slow in serving and clearing trays. She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

AA cancelled my flight out of PGV, a better seat would have been nice since I had to drive an hour to EWN whereas I was staying only 10 mins from PGV."

When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"
